I glanced at my watch, time was
ticking away and I was nearing the end of my booked session. I let out a heavy
sigh hoping that I wouldn't always have to see her with a time limit. Standing
from the bed I removed my wallet and flicked through the notes taking out the
required amount and threw them onto the desk.
"I don't want your money Jay." I turned to see the frown on her face
as Sam glance at the notes.
I walked towards her and knelt between her legs, this wasn't an easy move for
me but I wanted to be close, "I know it's not the ideal situation but if
it's the only way I can see you at the moment then it will have to do."
Sam nodded her head understanding. "I hope I won't have to keep on paying
for it either because I'd be bankrupt the amount I want to shag you, but you
can't go back to him empty handed either." I glanced at my watch again
conscious of the time, I didn't want to be here when Spyder came to collect her
so I knew I'd need to leave soon. I leaned on the bed to help me stand and
composed myself, I couldn't stand the thought of her going back to him. I
needed to speak to CJ and make sure that it was still happening this weekend
despite his injuries.
"I better be off," I glanced at Sam to see her playful pout and
smiled at this strong woman in front of me. Despite everything that had gone on
in her life she still managed a positive outlook and tried to be strong. I
leaned down and bit her lip before sucking it into my mouth gently. She smiled
and closed her eyes enjoying the close contact. "That's what I do to your
other lips," I stated playfully before she slapped me on the arm.
"What?" I asked standing tall.
"Stop being disgusting and get out!"
"Oh I see, you're just using and abusing me." I gave her a playful
wink and casually strolled to the door. Turning back towards her,
"Remember if you need anything then just give me a call babe." I opened
the door and turned left preferring to use the stairwell today rather than the
lifts, I really didn't want to bump into Spyder as I wouldn't be held accountable
for my actions.

Chapter 8

Jayden

"So where is your
friend?" Paige asked digging me in the ribs with her elbow.
"Do you mind that hurts!" I scolded her. She was in a playful mood
this afternoon which was lovely to see.
"Don't change the subject Jay, is she your girlfriend?" Paige turned
towards me with a huge grin.
"Girlfriend?" Chloe overheard and made her way towards us.
"She's just a friend that so happens to be a girl." I stated before
taking a sip of my drink.
"So where did you meet her?" Chloe asked, ever the romantic looking
for that perfect love story and happy ever after. I sniggered at her question
as there was no way I was telling them how we met.
"Ooh delaying tactics that means it's a juicy piece of information that
he's not going to share." Paige could read me like a book, and she was
right I wasn't sharing.
"I don't ask you two how you meet your blokes."
"I don't mind telling you how I met Cade but you may be a little
embarrassed." Paige chuckled and Chloe pulled a disgusted face clearly not
wanting to hear the story. It amazed me how twin sisters could be so different
but that's how I liked it as I got different things from each of them.
"So what's she like then, describe her please Jay." Chloe was in
excited mode.
"Give it up will ya, she'll be here soon enough so you can see her in the
flesh." I took another sip of my drink feeling a little anxious if she'd
turn up at all. Spyder was giving her more freedom these days but she still had
to monitor his moods and needed to keep that trust to enable him to give her
some time alone.
The group were under surveillance, it was costing me a small fortune but it
would hopefully lead to the safe release of all the girls. We could go to the
police but I was worried that they wouldn't handle it correctly and Spyder
would end up with a piss poor sentence. CJ had assured me that he'd get what
was coming to him and I trusted him more than the police. Everything was in
place for tomorrow, and I was a little anxious how it was all going to play out
but I hadn't given Sam any details as I thought it was best that she didn't
know what was going to happen.

"Anyway Chloe, enough about
my love life how's yours going?" I gave her a wink and Paige sniggered as
Chloe turned a lovely shade of scarlet.
"What has she told you?" Chloe whispered moving closer.
"That a certain someone from the club has caught your eye." I kept my
voice low, as much as I enjoyed winding Chloe up I didn't want to announce it
to the world and blow any chances of her finding happiness.
She let out a sigh, "It's difficult."
"It always is babe but if it's what you want then you've gotta fight for
it." I placed my arm around her shoulders and pulled her in close.
"How does he feel about you?"
"We didn't really get a chance to see what may become of it because Duke
put a stop to everything." I nodded my head understanding the situation,
if Duke was involved then she was screwed. "Don't worry Chloe it'll sort itself
out." I said reassuringly but I wasn't holding out much hope. She gave me
a small smile but this turned to a huge grin as she looked over my shoulder.

"Hi," I heard the
familiar voice from behind me and turned around to be greeted by the most
beautiful woman I knew.
"Hi babe, how're you doing?" I asked walking up beside her to lay a
light kiss on her cheek. She immediately blushed as she looked at the girls assessing
her.
"Sam, this is Paige and this is Chloe, and that over there is Tyler my
younger brother." I stated pointing to Tyler who was just leaving a group
of people to make his way over to us standing on the lawn.
"Nice to meet you all," Sam said politely but I could see that she
was feeling a little uncomfortable from the attention.
I snaked my arm around her waist and she leaned into my body relieved by my
touch.
"Well hello there, you must be Sam," Tyler extended his hand to take
Sam's and shook it. "Now when he told me he had a pretty girlfriend I
laughed because he isn't the best looking Watson but he wasn't lying." I
rolled my eyes and tightened the grip I had around Sam's waist, she glanced in
my direction with an unreadable expression before returning her attention to
the group. Her smile let me know that she was okay and it was good to see her
out of a hotel room and enjoying herself.

"So what do you do for a
living?" Chloe asked genuinely intrigued. Trust Chloe to ask such a
question but she wasn't doing it to catch Sam out, she was just a people person
and wanted to talk to her.
"I work in sales," I took a sip of my drink to try to hide my smirk.
"And what do you sell?" Tyler asked getting in on the conversation.
"I work in the entertainment business." I couldn't hold it in any
longer, I spat my drink out through laughing at her obviously rehearsed answer.
I coughed and spluttered as I tried to gain my composure and Sam patted my back
trying to calm me through my fits of giggles.
"Is he pissed?" Tyler asked pointing towards me.
"I don't think so, I'll go and get you a napkin," Chloe walked into
the house to get something so I could clean myself with.
Sam narrowed her eye's and glared at me, "What?" I mouthed so no one
else could hear.
"You know what, don't try to show me up or embarrass me."
"Ah babe that's not what I'm trying to do, it just surprised me. I hadn't
thought of how you may answer that question."
"And remember it's not through choice." Sam huffed folding her arms
across her chest.
"I pulled her to one side, "Stop it, I didn't mean anything by it
babe. I'm sorry, I really am. I invited you here this afternoon to meet my
family, hopefully that tells you something about how I feel." She looked
at me questioningly, "No declarations of love yet babe but we need to get
you out of there asap and I'm hoping with the information CJ has it could be as
early as tomorrow."
"Really?"
I nodded my head, "We just need to see how much manpower he has."
"And how's it looking?
"All in our favour."
Sam leaned forward and kissed me sweetly on the cheek, "Thank you."
"You don't need to thank me babe, I'm just doing what any human being
would do."
"See that's where you're wrong."

"Foods ready!" Mum
shouted from the doorway of the house.
Everyone made their way into the kitchen to help themselves to the food on
offer but I grabbed Sam's hand and pulled her back.
"What's up?" she asked drawing her brows.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Sam smiled sweetly, "I'm fine. I was a little nervous about coming here
this afternoon, but your family seem lovely so I'm pleased that I came."
"What time do you have to leave?"
"He's given me two hours today so I need to be back around 5.00pm which
means I can stay for something to eat."
"Why don't you just stay and don't go back, I can protect you babe. The
club won't see any harm come to you."
"We've spoken about this, I have the other girls to think about also. He
may take things out on them for me escaping and I couldn't do that to
them."
"Come here," I wrapped her in my arms and pulled her close kissing
her on the top of her head. "Your selfless all the time babe, you have
such a kind heart."
"Please don't!"
"Don't what?" I loosened my grip and held her at arm's length to see
her unshed tears.
"Be nice all the time."
"What the fuck you talking about? I give credit where credit is due, a
compliment is said to make the other person feel good not make them
unhappy."
"Yeah I know and I'm sorry but I'm not very good at accepting
compliments."
"Well you'd better learn and fast because if you're with me that's what
you'll be getting." I brought her in for a hug again, wrapping my arms
around her tightly.
"Is that what you want?"
"Yes." I couldn't begin to tell her much I wanted that.
"Despite everything I've told you?"
"Yes, despite everything you've told me because that just makes me like
you more. That's what's shaped you into the person you've become and that's
what's allowed you to come into my life." I said throwing her words back
at her. Sam stood on tip toes to reach my mouth and took the lead in kissing me
passionately.
"Ahhhh," I heard in chorus behind me as Chloe and Paige watched us
kiss. I pulled away conscious of the attention we were getting and turned
towards the group, "Can't we have a little privacy?"
"Not at a family party, no." Paige smiled and stood between us
wrapping her arms firmly around our shoulders. "Mum wants you in there
tasting her food, play nice Jayden and don't upset her."
I rolled my eyes and Paige let go of her grasp to release us into the unknown,
I grabbed for Sam's hand and walked into the house.

"Ahhh there you are Jayden,
there's plenty of food help yourself." Mum waved her hand over the table.
"It's also lovely to meet you Sam," Mum said smiling.
I picked up two plates and gave one to Sam before I started to put food on the
other. I wasn't really hungry but mum had gone to so much trouble to make an
effort that it was rude not to eat some of it. As we walked around the table
selecting our food, I noticed Justice look at Sam as he narrowed his eyes. He
looked up and as our eyes met he flicked his head indicating for me to come
over.
My body filled with dread, I knew Sam didn't know anything about the MC so I'd
hoped that she hadn't been with any members over the years but from the look on
Justice's face I was fearing the worst.

"What's up Justice?"
"How's everything going?" he nodded towards Sam.
"Well I'm assuming by your line of questioning that you know what she does
for a living." He looked at me surprised that I knew. "We don't have
secrets, in fact that's how I met her."
Justice nodded his head, "I was just going to make you aware in case you
didn't know."
"Please also tell me that you haven't fucked her."
Justice sniggered and placed his hand on his chest, "Hand on heart, I
swear I haven't fucked her." She's not my type Jay, not enough meat on her
bones." I rolled my eyes at his comment. Mr Picky himself had just
revealed that he liked a larger lady, well that was interesting.
"So how do you recognise her then?" I asked referring to Sam.
"She was at a party a couple of months back, but she didn't stay long that
bloke that's always sniffing around the girls was there being a prick."
"Spyder?" he looked at me confused. "Black bloke, shaved head,
stands around 6 ft drives a Range Rover."
Justice nodded his head, "That's the one. I don't trust him, there's just
something about him that don't sit right. I mean Jackal's a fucking prick but
this bloke looks like he needs a good hiding."
"You couldn't be much closer to the truth." I said under my breath as
Sam made her way over to stand with us.
"Problem?"
"Nah, it's getting sorted."
"You know where I am if you need me." I smiled as I appreciated his
kindness. "I'll leave you to it."
"Is everything okay?" Sam asked sweetly as she stood by my side.
I bent down to give her a quick kiss on the top of her head, "It is
now."
The next thirty minutes flew by, and before long it was time for Sam to leave.
She didn't want any of us to give her a lift as she didn't want to be seen, Sam
needed to get back to the shopping centre as that's where Spyder was picking
her up from. I didn't want her going back to the house empty handed as he'd ask
what she'd been doing for the past two hours, so I'd gone out earlier this
morning and purchased some items of clothing for her. As we stood outside
waiting for her taxi I gave her the bags.
"What are these?" she asked looking inside and lifting out some of
the garments.
"You can't go back empty handed again, he'd start asking questions."
"You went out and purchased these for me?"
I nodded my head, "I've taken the receipts out as they have the time of purchase
printed on them but if you need to exchange anything you can have them back at
a later date."
Sam placed the bags onto the ground and wrapped her arms firmly around me.
"What did I do to deserve you?" she asked before leaning in to give
me a kiss.
"I could ask you the very same question."

Sam

I sat in a taxi on the way back to
Spyder's house feeling a little anxious, I'd received a cryptic message from
him earlier asking me to get a taxi home as he had a surprise for me. This
wasn't uncommon, he'd sometimes asked Jackal or Pyet to give me a ride home or
even call a taxi but it was the tone of his message that I didn't like.
He couldn't have known about me going around Jay's parents this afternoon. I'd
been carful getting into the taxi and I 'd made the driver drop me off in a
secluded area and walked the final part of the journey to make sure I wasn't
followed. No, this seemed more serious and I didn't like the uneasy feeling I
had inside.

On arrival at the house, I paid
the taxi driver the fare and exited the vehicle noticing that only Spyder's car
was outside meaning he was alone. I took a deep breath and slowly walked across
the gravel until I was at the front door and used my keys to enter.

The house was surprisingly quiet,
usually there was music blaring or the TV was on but as I listened I couldn't
hear a sound.
"Is anyone home?" I shouted hearing my voice echo around the large
stairwell.
"Up here in your room." Spyder shouted from upstairs.
My heart raced, why was he in my room? The nights he had demanded sex with me,
we had always gone to his room. I preferred this as my room became a sanctuary,
a place where I could go, lock the door and not contemplate what kind of life I
had.

I slowly walked up the stairs
holding onto the banisters for support as I glanced around my surroundings
taking everything in, I didn't want to be caught unaware should someone be lying
in wait.
I pushed my bedroom door open slowly and notice Spyder sitting at my desk, his
mood was unreadable but he didn't move to look at me although he would've known
I had entered the room. He was starring at the bed, I followed his eye line and
let out a squeak before covering my mouth with my hand. I shook uncontrollably
and the tears streamed down my cheeks, I gasped for air but I couldn't take it
in quick enough as her lifeless eyes looked up at me.
