First, to my agent Sandy Lu at the Lori Perkins Literary Agency. She stuck with this book until the bitter end, and it was a bitter end. We tried,
they
failed.

To my cover artist Damonza and formatter Benjamin Carrancho. It turned out so good, better than I imagined. You were worth every penny. Visit them at

.

To my Beta readers Susan Dowis, Jill Kardell, Ginny Dowis, Lydia Vigna for helping shape the book. And to all the editors who gave their suggestions and fought for the book. I appreciated your time and lovely rejection letters.

To Alan Orloff who once again answered all my questions and guided me through this process. You’re a mensch.

To Newport Beach Library, Huntington Beach Library, Fairfax County Library System, and Prince William County Library Systems for giving me lovely places to write. I miss you first two, and the cute boys within your walls.

And finally, to anyone past, present, and future who has taken a chance on my books. I hope never to disappoint you.

Currently she calls Northern Virginia home but that restless itch is ever present.
