Krinos (Take Over Series) (7 page)

––––––––

I
wake to an empty bed and sit up to look around. I know Stefanos was in here; I could still smell him on my pillows. I’m about to get up when I see him walk out of my bathroom naked. I take in his beautiful physique, and my mouth starts to water. I now realize I’m butt-ass naked when his eyes roam me, stopping on my breast where my scars are. I automatically pull the blankets up to cover myself and watch as his eyes look up to meet mine.

“What were you doing last night, princess?” he asks, walking to me, still butt-ass naked, with no shame whatsoever.

“Having fun; what’s it to you?” I say with attitude. He walks over and rips the blanket from my body.

“Because I already told you, you’re mine, and you can’t escape that, Princess.” I try to pry the blanket back and have no luck, so I stand tall and look him in the eye.

“Go fuck your perfect bimbos and leave me alone. You might be excellent in bed, and I may have enjoyed myself, but that doesn’t give you the right to claim me.” I storm off to the bathroom, and just as I pass him, he catches me by the arm; I swear this bastard wants a black eye.

“Why the fuck is there a hickey on your neck?” I shrug my shoulders and try to break free of his grasp, but he tightens his hold. I pretend I’m giving in then drop a little bit to the floor and sweep his feet out from under him; he still has hold of my arm and brings me down with him. I punch him with my free hand in the side of his stomach to try to make my escape, and he somehow lands on top of me, straddling me; I can feel his hardness.

“You will answer me, Princess,” he snarls in my face.

“Fuck you,” I spit back at him.

“I already told you, Princess; anytime.” He lets me go, and I reach for the blanket to cover myself back up again; he snaps it out of my hands.

“Don’t you dare try to cover yourself up in front of me again; I fucking mean it, Princess. That body is mine, and it’s fucking perfect,” he barks at me.

“It’s not perfect, it’s fucking broken, and you took that right from me to fix it,” I scream at him. He looks at me and drops the blankets as he finally understands. Giving Christian his own torture from me is what I wanted to help fix what is broken, and he took that away.

“I did it for you. Everything I do now is for you, don’t you see that? I had to do it to fix me, too, to fix what he took away from me. He took you, Princess, so I made that fucker suffer beyond his wildest imagination.”

I look up at him and think he loves me; I’m not sure if I’m ready for that. So I take off and head for the bathroom without him stopping me.

Once I’m dressed and ready, I head downstairs to face the wrath.  I spot Rock first, and he looks up at me and shakes his head; I smile back at him and blow him a kiss. I spot my father and his goons in the kitchen and head in there. I see Stefanos sitting at the counter with a bowl of cereal, only dressed in a pair of jeans. He looks up at me, makes a bowl and slides it to me; I reluctantly take it and sit down to eat.

“Krinos, why was there a cop parked at the front last night? And tell me why all my men saw you naked in the pool,” my father commands, coming to stand in front of me. I look up to see him watching me and peek to my side to see Stefanos’ eyes bulging out of his head.

“It was Blue Eyes; he came to check up on me. Nothing to worry about, Father.” I hear Stefanos grunt and avoid the question about being naked.

“If I see any one of you looking at Princess again, I will remove your fucking eyeballs,” snarls Stefanos. I roll my eyes at him and look back to my father.

“Well, then you best be getting rid of him, cause he is at the front right now. Krinos, next time, use your brains; you know what happens here.” He storms off after that, and my head hits the counter for being so stupid. I look up for Stefanos and can’t find him. I look at Rock, and he points outside, smirking. Fuck.

I race outside and see Blue Eyes pinned to his car by Stefanos; I take out my gun and hold it to Stefanos’ head.

“Drop him now, Stefanos,” I say in a polite voice.

“You fucked him last night, didn’t you, Princess?” He snaps at me, still holding Blue Eyes by the neck. I watch as his grip tightens, and I lower the gun.

“So what if I did? I told you already, I’m not yours. I will fuck who ever I Goddamn well please.” He lets go of Blue Eyes and turns to face me.

“Enough with this childish bullshit; sort your shit out with this loser and be inside in five minutes. Oh, and princess? If you’re not there, there will be consequences.” He smiles at that last past, and I watch his super-sexy ass strut back inside.

Why does this man make me feel things so crazy? I love his pissed-off attitude, and I hate it, but mainly it makes me want to jump him. I don’t like being controlled, and that’s what he wants; he wants to control whom I see and what I do. My father doesn’t even have that right, so why would I hand it over to a man I barely know? And I think I may give him all of me; that’s what scares me the most. I have worked so hard to become who I am.

I
look up at Chase and watch as he rubs his throat. He looks at me, and I smile; he really is a lovely guy, just not right for me.

“Eliza, about last night...” I cut him off before he even finishes.

“Blue Eyes, it was fun, but that’s all it was; fun.” He is looking at me like I have grown a third head, and I lean in to kiss him on the cheek and tell him goodbye.

Once I walk inside, I see Stefanos standing there with his arms crossed over his body, looking very pissed.

“You had to kiss him, Princess?” Ha, he was watching, the sneaky bastard.

“Just shut up and kiss me already, you ape.” I stand there waiting for him, and it doesn’t take him long; in two strides, he is standing in front of me, looking at my lips. His mouth slowly descends on mine, and he places soft kisses there. He has never kissed me like this before; I’m not sure if it’s because he thinks I’m broken or because he cares for me. His hands slowly make their way to my ass and squeeze. I smile through the light kisses, and just as he is about to enter my mouth, he murmurs on my lips. “Mine.” I open my mouth and let his hot tongue devour me.

He kisses me for breath, he kisses me for life, and he kisses me for my soul. This is not our usual kiss. This is laced with more, oh so much more.

He slowly pulls away and our noses stay touching; he opens his eyes and looks at me. There is something in those big, brown eyes that speaks to me; it’s like a window to his soul, and if you’re lucky enough, you can see.

I think back to why I even went for Chase, and I think it’s because he still found me beautiful. Although, Stefanos still wanted me when I was destroyed, and he was willing to help me put myself back together, even if it wasn’t done my way.

We finally separate, and he leads me to the kitchen. I see my father standing there smiling, and I look over to see Stefanos watching me. I have my father’s approval, and that makes me happy.

“Krinos, you have a box delivered to the front door,” one of my father’s goons tell me, and I head over to open it; I find my knife and a letter.

Just because he wouldn’t let me play with you doesn’t mean I won’t, Bitch.

I stare at the letter, trying to work out who it is, then Stefanos pulls it from my grasp and reads it. He starts seething, crumples it up and throws it. That’s when it clicks; I know who it is. Druggy.

“Who sent this, Princess?” I can tell he is ready to rip someone to shreds, and I don’t answer; he might have gotten the main person I wanted, but I will get him.

“Krinos, if you know, you have to tell us.” I look up at my father and shake my head. I will not tell them; he is
mine.

Stefanos storms off, obviously pissed at the situation or me; whichever one, I don’t care right now.

“Krinos, we have business to attend to tonight.” I look up at him and realize he won’t push me; I smile at that and ask him what business.

“We’re hosting a party for buyers to try the product tonight.”

“Is that smart, Father? It’s still in trial.”

“Yes, it is. I have had it on the streets for a month now, and it’s selling better than anything we have distributed before.” I’m about to excuse myself when I remember the driver, Paul.

“Father, what of Paul?” He looks me in the eyes and smiles a deadly smile.

“Baby girl, he is in the basement, exactly where I left him.” I clap my hands together like a schoolgirl and bounce off downstairs.

As soon as I reach the bottom, I flick the light on and look around; I can see him. He is tied down to a chair, which I think is lucky. The bastard should be tied up like I was.

I watch as his eyes look up to see me, and he looks shocked; he must have thought I was dead. I see hope flair in his eyes; little does he know he will receive his own punishment from me.

I walk around the chair and look at him; he looks like he had the crap beaten out of him. He doesn’t look like he has suffered enough compared to what I was put through, though.

He goes to speak, and I place a finger on his lips to silence him. He looks stunned at first and lets his head drop to his chest. He looks broken and weak, and I wonder how long he has been here.

I also wonder how come I’m only finding out now that he was here; if I would have known earlier, I would have done something about it.

I reach into my garter where I placed my knife and pull it out; he watches me do this and shakes his head no. I contemplate not stabbing him and go to turn away, but then think ‘fuck it’ and slam my knife straight in his leg.

––––––––

H
is screams echo through the basement. He won’t look at me, he just stares straight down at his leg.

“Paul, tell me now where the druggy is, and I’ll go easy on you.” He starts whimpering, and I’m getting fed up with waiting. He sees me bring the knife up and shakes his head no.

“Ok, ok. He hangs at Lust. Please, I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. He was only meant to scare you,” he pleads through ragged breaths.

“And you thought that was ok? You wouldn’t have set up my father like that, but you thought you could do that to ME?! Silly little boy.” I bring my knife down and stab him in the other leg, twisting it for good measure.

Just then I hear the basement door shut and footsteps; I look up to see Stefanos walking down. He looks at me then at Paul, pulls his gun out and shoots him point-blank.

“You aren’t going alone.” Simple. A statement. He informs me.

“I will be doing this alone, and so help me, if you fuck this up for me again, Stefanos, the next place my knife will be going is into your balls.”

I walk out of the basement, head straight to my room and lock my door. I go to my closet and pull out the skimpiest dress I own, braid my hair to the side and apply heavy black eyeliner and mascara. I put on some fuck-me boots to match my black dress, tuck my gun into my shoes and walk out.

Stefanos is waiting for me at my door, and when he sees what I am wearing, I watch as he takes me in. He starts at my face, and his eyes devour me from top to bottom.

“I’m going with you.” I don’t bother answering; I just take off to the closest car I can find, and Stefanos jumps in the passenger seat.

When we arrive, it’s dark and the music is pumping. I fit right in with a lot of the women here, all dressed like skanks. I look around for Druggy and spot him in the VIP area; he doesn’t notice me at first, not until I’m standing in front of him.

I wait as his eyes take me in and watch as recognition flashes in them. He jumps from his seat and goes to grab for a weapon. I stop him in his tracks and point my gun to his crotch.

“Follow me, and you won’t lose your little friend tonight.” He looks like he wants to argue with me until Stefanos walks up behind me and wraps an arm around my waist. He reluctantly agrees and follows us outside. I make him walk in front of us, and I pop the trunk of my car and tell him to get in.

“Fuck off, I ain’t getting in there.” He is a fool; I look up at him, smile and lower my gun. He takes that as his opportunity to run, and just as he takes his third step, I shoot him in his leg he falls like the piece of shit he is.
