“Thanks,” she said. “It’s a good-looking garage, anyway.”

“Come on in and see the rest,” I said, willing my hands not to reach for her.

“All right,” Anna whispered, resting her hand on the small of my back. I never thought of my back as a particularly sexy zone, but when Anna touched it... damn.

I led her in through the entryway, the kitchen, and dining room as she looked at everything and made sweet, cute comments about the decorations.

“Oh wow, granite counters,” she said. “Very swanky.”

“Are they?” I responded. I didn’t know shit about granite counters, except that I might like to lift her up onto one of them and tear her clothes off. “Come on, let’s get to the bedroom.”

Anna kept her hand on the small of my back all the way up the stairs, and I could feel her desire burning in every fingertip.

“Here it is,” I said, opening up the bedroom door and gesturing for her to enter.

“Oh my,” she breathed. “It’s so you. It’s perfect.”

“You think so? What’s so me about it?” I asked, flattered.

“The colors. Green and black, they’re just perfect. And it’s so simple, but lovely,” she said. “Just like you.”

“Thanks,” I told her. “I’m glad you like it.”

“I really do,” she told me, looking around the room and smiling sweetly. I thought I’d never love anyone like I loved her just then, standing there and smiling.

“Now, come here,” I said, unable to hold back anymore. She didn’t argue, but stepped closer to me, pressing her big, perky tits up against my chest.

“That’s better,” I whispered, wrapping my arms around her and running my hands down her back. “You look so good tonight, baby. God, it’s too much.”

“Oh, Hunter,” she whispered, her eyes hooded and shining with desire. “I’ve wanted you so badly.”

I took her face in my hands and looked deep into her eyes.

“Oh, you’re going to get me,” I said. “You’re going to get all of me, so deep inside you.”

She moaned softly as I kissed her on the lips, feeling her mouth with my own. I ran my hands up her arms, lowering the straps of her slinky blue dress until it fell and revealed a lacy black bra.

“Oh, Anna,” I whispered. “You’re so beautiful.”

I peeled away her bra, exposing her breasts and making her shudder.

“You’re so fucking beautiful,” I said, taking them in my hands. She moaned louder.

“Hunter, I want you. Now,” she said, urgency rising in her voice.

“Patience,” I said. “First I want to feel these beautiful tits in my mouth.”

I started to run my tongue along her nipple, feeling it stiffen under my touch. I pulled it into my mouth and started to suck on it. Anna moaned louder, and my cock stiffened even more. She was too hot to believe. I started to unbutton her dress, slowly, until it fell in a pile on the floor. She was wearing black panties to match her black bra, which I unfastened and let fall to the floor. She stood before me, quivering with desire in nothing more than her panties.

I sat down on the bed and pulled her in front of me. She reached down to help take off my shirt, and sighed as she stroked my arms up and down. I ran my hand up her thighs, stopping just short of where they met, and leaned in to kiss her stomach. Anna put her hands in my hair, pulling at it. I could tell she was about to lose control. Finally, I gave her a taste of what she wanted, caressing between her legs.

“Oh God, baby, you’re so wet I can feel it through your panties,” I said, almost ready to lose control.

“I’m ready for you, baby,” she whispered breathlessly.

I slipped her panties down and took a moment to stare at her, up and down, totally naked. It had been nine years since I’d seen her perfect, amazing body. And it hadn’t changed a bit.

“You’re incredible,” I told her, lifting her in my arms and laying her down on the bed. “You’re so amazing.”

Anna said nothing, but reached down to unbutton my jeans. She pulled them down until I was just in my boxers, my hard cock by now painfully obvious. Anna looked at it, biting her lip.

“You want it?” I whispered, nibbling on her ear. “You want me inside you?”

“God, yes,” she said, pleading. At last I took off my underwear and crouched over her, my cock brushing against the soft skin of her belly. Anna took hold of me in her hand, and I felt myself, impossibly, getting even harder. I spread her legs with my knees and she guided me to her opening, so I could feel just exactly how wet she had gotten.

“Oh, Anna. You’re perfect,” I whispered, as I leaned down to kiss her. With my lips against hers, I pushed slowly, gently, until I was all the way inside. And then, I mostly lost consciousness. All I knew was that I was on top of Anna, sliding in and out of her as her moans grew louder and more frantic.

“Right there,” she whispered.

“Yeah? Does that feel good?” I said, moving faster, trying to maintain control. “I want you to come, Anna.”

“Keep going, baby,” she whispered, pressing her hands into my back. I pushed and pushed into her until she cried out, and broke into ecstatic convulsions. And then I let myself go too. I pumped harder until I felt myself explode inside of her, making her cry out with even more pleasure. It was then that we both opened our eyes and looked at each other. We didn’t say anything, didn’t need to say anything. Anna reached up and pulled me to her, kissing me gently.

I stood up for a moment to pick up a blanket that had fallen on the floor, and covered her with it. She turned to her side and I settled down behind her, wrapping my arms around her tightly.

“I’ll let you sleep for a little while,” I whispered in her ear. “But I can’t promise I won’t wake you up for more in the middle of the night.”

“You can wake me up any time you like,” she said with a sleepy smile. “I don’t mind.”

And then she fell asleep, so sweetly and peacefully I thought my heart would break. I couldn’t believe the most beautiful girl in the world was right here, back in my arms.
I hope to God I don’t lose her again
was my final thought before I fell into my own utterly exhausted, peaceful rest.

Chapter Fourteen
Anna

T
he next day, Hunter and I woke up very early to drive back to L.A. I really wanted to lounge around in bed with him, take our time making breakfast, and have a long, relaxing day together. Unfortunately, it was Monday and I had to go to work.

“What are you doing later?” he asked as we pulled up outside my office.

“I don’t have any plans,” I answered, smiling. “Why, are you going to hang out around here today?”

“Yeah, I’m going to head over to the gym and then probably just hang out at my apartment for a while,” he told me.

“Oh,” I said. “I didn’t realize you had an apartment here.”

“Yeah, I got one a few years back. Just a small place, nothing fancy. I have enough matches in L.A. and San Diego so that it makes sense to have somewhere to crash in both cities.”

“I see. So, do you want to meet up tonight, then?” I asked.

“I sure do,” Hunter said with a grin. “There’s a new place I’ve been dying to bring you to ever since it opened.”

“Oh?” I asked, intrigued. “What place is this?”

“It’s a surprise!”

“Can you give me a hint?” I pleaded. “When did it open?”

“It opened about three years ago,” Hunter admitted.

“Wow,” I breathed, touched. “You’ve been wanting to take me there for three whole years?”

“What can I say?” he said, his signature impish grin creeping back onto his face. “It’s just your kind of place.”

“I can’t wait,” I told him.

“Perfect. So, I’ll pick you up here?”

“Sure.”

“See you then,” he said, and leaned across the seat to give me a long, sensuous kiss that left me almost breathless.

“I can’t wait,” I whispered, taking his head in my hands and returning his kiss with full force.

Although I had hardly gotten any sleep the night before, that day at the office flew by like a breeze. I felt like I was walking on air, so much so that I worried my coworkers would take one look at me and know exactly what I was so happy about. Luckily, no one asked about it and I managed to escape at the end of the day without anyone accusing me of “glowing,” and making me blush. And then, when I walked out of the building, Hunter was right there in the parking lot waiting for me. I felt great.

“Hey, beautiful,” he said as I got in the car.

“Hey,” I said, no doubt grinning like a total idiot.

Hunter brought me home for a few minutes so that I could change my clothes, and then we were off to dinner and then our mystery date. I couldn’t wait to find out where we were going, and patience wasn’t exactly one of my virtues. All through dinner I kept trying to get him to tell me what he had planned, but he would only grin and change the subject.

“Where are we going?” he’d repeat, then pause to think. “Have I told you you’re the most beautiful woman in the world?”

“You’re the worst,” I told him, laughing.

“All right, lesson learned,” he’d say with a twinkle in his eye. “I will no longer tell you you’re beautiful.”

“That’s not what I mean and you know it!” I’d shout.

“Women,” he said, shaking his head. “So confusing.”

Finally, I gave up and decided to just go along for the ride with him.
After all,
I thought,
when has he ever let me down before?

The answer was never, and this night was no different. After a wonderful dinner and a few glasses of wine, I was feeling something close to bliss as I strolled down the street arm in arm with the only man I’d ever loved. I didn’t think I could possibly be any happier, until Hunter stopped suddenly and said, “We’re here.”

I looked up and saw that we were in front of something called The Grand Marquis
.

“What is it?” I asked. “A movie theater?”

“Exactly,” Hunter said. “See what’s playing?”

I gasped when I saw the sign, and grabbed Hunter’s hand impetuously.

“Oh my gosh,
Casablanca
!” I cried. “Is it an old-timey movie theater?”

“That’s right,” he told me, squeezing my hand. “They play a different feature every week.”

“This is amazing!” I cried in delight. “Can we come every week?”

“For the rest of our lives,” Hunter said, “if you want.”

I smiled happily and didn’t answer, wanting it so badly that I was afraid if I spoke I would jinx it, and something terrible would happen to break us apart. We bought two tickets, some popcorn, and a drink to share, and headed into the theater.

“Oh, it’s perfect,” I said, seeing the plush red seats and the old-fashioned curtains. “Just exactly what I wanted.”

“I’m glad you like it,” said Hunter. “So, front and center as usual?”

“Yes please!”

When we sat down together and I snuggled up next to Hunter for one of my all-time favorite movies, I could not possibly have been happier. He wrapped his arm around me and squeezed me tight, and I spent the whole movie in a state of pure joy. Nothing could have brought me down from feeling so good, not even when Rick and Ilsa had to say goodbye to each other at the end of the film. My life, it seemed, was going exactly the way I wanted.

Exactly, that is, until we got back to my place and found that there was a little surprise waiting for us on my doorstep. It wasn’t the nice kind of surprise, either.

Chapter Fifteen
Hunter

A
fter a great time at dinner and then the movies, we got back to Anna’s apartment to find a large manila envelope on her doorstep.

“What’s this?” I asked.

“I have no idea,” she responded, picking it up to examine it.

To our surprise, we saw that the envelope had my name written on it, in big black magic marker.

“What the hell?” I asked. “Who could have left this here?”

“I don’t know,” Anna said, her voice quiet with fear. “Let’s go inside.”

When we got inside and opened up the package, I could hardly see straight because I was so blind with fury.

“What the fuck is this?” I yelled. There, in front of me, were big glossy photographs of Anna, beautiful Anna, and that piece of shit Nathaniel kissing her with his hand up his shirt.

“Oh my God,” Anna whispered, almost to herself. “He had someone taking photographs the whole time.”

“When did this happen?” I asked.

“A few days ago,” she said. “I told you...”

“How do you know him?” I shouted, still in such a rage I couldn’t put two and two together. “What the fuck is he doing touching you?”

“Wait,” Anna said, realizing what was happening way before I did. “You mean, you know him too?”

“Yeah I know him. That’s Nathaniel, my number one enemy,” I told her. “I got him banned from the CFC last year for using drugs.”

“Oh my God,” said Anna, slowly sinking down on the couch. “I can’t believe it, he...”

“He what?” I demanded.

“Hunter, don’t you get it?” she said, looking up at me. “That’s Nate. My ex. The one who came over here and scared me.”

“What?” I picked the pictures up from the table to look again. “What the hell?”

And then, as much as I didn’t want to see the photos again, when I looked I knew she was telling the truth. The expression on her face definitely wasn’t the happy look of ecstasy. She looked terrified.

“I can’t believe this,” I said. “I knew he was a sick fucker, but not this sick.”

“What do you mean?” Anna asked, her voice small.

“I mean, I knew he was pissed off,” I told her. “But I didn’t think he’d move all the way to Australia just to fuck with me.”

“Oh God,” Anna said. “You really think that’s what he did? The whole time, he was just—”

Anna stopped talking as she started to get choked up, realizing what a sicko she had been dealing with and didn’t even know it. I saw her eyes well up with tears, and instantly all my anger disappeared and turned into one feeling and one feeling only: the desire to make her feel better.

“Oh, Anna,” I said, sitting down next to her and wrapping my arms around her. “I am so sorry this happened to you. I’m sorry I yelled. I didn’t mean to get mad at you, I know it isn’t your fault.”

“I know, Hunter. I just can’t believe that the whole time he, he—”
