Love Me ~ Like That (14 page)

“What I mean is if you’d experienced a little more of life, you wouldn’t even be dating a prick who makes you cry instead of doing whatever he can to support you tonight. You would know that you’re worth so much more and you wouldn’t let him disrespect you.”

I’ve got to set this shit straight. This is just too much. He and I are about to have a coming to Jesus meeting. I don’t let anyone disrespect me!

“Cash, I’m not as innocent as you think I am. I’m sure I could even teach you and thing or two.”

I have to hold back my laughter. She still has this all wrong. There are different levels of being grown. Knowing what you want out of life is one of them. Knowing when to let people go when they continue to hurt and disappoint you is another.

“Bailey, you haven’t even been kissed.” I intend to show her she hasn’t had a relationship that is worthy of her. I want her to understand she is so much more than that prick has led her to believe. “Let me show you, if you don’t believe me.”

“You are awfully full of yourself.” She jumps off the picnic table putting her hands on those perfect little hips.

I get up from the picnic table, take her by the hand and pull her into me. She smells like honeysuckles and I wonder if she will taste like them too. I want to kiss her ten different ways and take my time to and explore her body, but tonight isn’t about that. Tonight is about making her feel like a lady and a woman. The way she’d be kissed if she was in a mature relationship. With me. I take her face in my hands and look into those eyes that make my heart skip a beat every time I see them. I kiss her gently, just a brush of my lips.

She moves her hands around my neck, giving my skin feather light caresses Those little wisps of touches awaken things in me that need attention, but not right now. She deserves to be worshiped and I’m going to show her I’m the man who can take care of her. I move next to her eyelids, and place a tender kiss on each one of them.

She sighs.

There isn’t any need to rush kissing. It’s the first step to falling in love. I go back to her mouth giving her the slightest nibbles. She is opening her mouth for more. I don’t think she has ever been loved this way. Her neck, right behind her ear, is where I land next. I get a little taste there with my tongue. She tastes damn good. She presses her hips against my leg. My dick is on full alert, but this isn’t about him. It’s about this first kiss with her. This might be my last chance to show her she has been kissed.

I go back to her lips and give them a little lick then seal my lips to hers. I take her tongue and give it a little suck. She moans, clearly enjoying this. I have my hands in her hair playing. I give her lips another little nip and follow that up with more hunger in my kiss. I end with a few gentle touches then look into her eyes, which are hooded and dazed.

“Now, you’ve been kissed.” I walk away before “Johnny” takes over. “Goodnight, Sweet Cheeks, sleep well,” I call back to her.

“You can’t give someone a kiss like that and leave them, Cash.”

I stop and look over my shoulder. “You’re not ready for this,” I say then I get my ass across the street before I change my mind.

Journal Entry:
I’m done with being sad over Hendrix. He has hurt me for the last time. I thought he loved me. I thought we were meant to be together, but he’s hit me with this landslide, and I’m finally able to see him as everyone else does. He wants to see other people, and he wants to screw me then he wants to have some high society girl on his arm. I guess he wants to keep me as his dirty little secret. I feel so used, and I’m tired of stroking his ego. I don’t need anyone in my life that needs my apologies when I haven’t done anything wrong. I thought he was making me a better person, but in reality he has made me feel worthless. He has finally opened my eyes to the kind of person he really is. From this point on, I’m no longer a doormat. I won’t be used as anyone’s come disposal system. If a guy can’t return the favor, they no longer get to party in my hoo-ha. I’ve had it with all of the egotistical bastards in this world. I want a guy to worship me as much as I do him.

Maybe that will be Cash? He’s sweet and he’s certainly hot. That kiss set me on fire, and if a kiss can do that to me, I can only imagine how he can rock my world in other ways. His body is hard and when I ran my hand down his chest, I felt him tremble just a little. We have an intense sexual tension. The way he looks at me, so passionate with those deep blue penetrating eyes.

I put away my journal and get out ‘old faithful’ again to release all the tension Cash built up. This, of course, isn’t a replacement for the real thing, but I can lay here and think about Cash
.
In my fantasy, he has his shirt off, and his body is ripped. I picture all of those well placed hard muscles wet. Drops of water are running down his chest, and he is heaving. His nipples are pebbled, and I lick away the water. I look up at him through my eyelashes and he is watching me. I run my hands down his torso, into his jeans and pull out his rock hard cock. It glistens, begging to be taken into my mouth. He pushes me down on the bed and licks my pussy with a passion and hunger of a starving man. Then he takes me hard, pumping and grinding into me making me come again and again. He turns me over and takes me from behind holding me up with his hands. The images push me over the edge and I’ve blissfully made my own magic.

Now I can sleep without a care in the world. All the stress of the day is gone. All thoughts of fighting with Hendrix have disappeared. I can breathe deeply and drift off to slumber land. I won’t need any alcohol assistance to get my zees tonight.
I’m sure my dreams will be pornographic. I know my thoughts are. I snuggle down under my covers and glide into my dreams of Cash.

I wake up to my alarm at six and hop into the shower. After getting dressed, I pack Granny’s essentials and grab a breakfast bar on my way out the door. I call the hospital and find out Granny has already been moved to a private room. The operator connects me to her room, and Granny picks up on the first ring.

“Hello.”

She sounds chipper today. “Hey Granny, how are you feeling?” I am relieved to hear a little pep in her voice.

“I’m fine, Baby. Why haven’t you called me?”

You’ve got to love her, not even twelve hours out of surgery and she is up to her shenanigans. I laugh, “What am I doing right now, Granny? I’m on my way with your nightgown and housecoat. Is there anything else you need? Can I stop by and get you a book or a magazine?”

“Did you get my cold cream, I’ve got to have my cold cream. You can bring me one of the books you like to read, but I would rather have your company.”

She sounds hopeful, but she doesn’t have to hint around. I will be there for her.

“Yes, ma’am, I’ve got your cold cream packed, right along with your other toiletries. I don’t have any of my books with me now, so my company will have to do.”

“That sounds like a good plan to me. How long will it be before you get here? Will you stop and get me a cup of coffee at McDonalds?”

“We had the same idea. I’m almost at McDonalds now because you know I can’t go long without my sweet tea. I should be there in another ten minutes or so. I’ll see you then. Bye, love you.”

“Love you too, Baby.”

I can hear the smile in her voice.

I grab the coffee, and my tea then I’m on my way. I stop by and pick up some roses in the gift shop. I spend the next few hours visiting as I walk her around the hall as much as she’s able. What she lacks in strength, she makes up for in willpower by walking for a short distance then sitting in the seat of her walker to catch her breath. I tell her she is pushing herself too much, but she is stubborn and won’t listen to me, and I end up pushing her back to her room the last trip out before lunch.

“So tell me something now we’re not out in that hallway where everyone can hear us.”

She grins with naughtiness in her blue gray eyes.

“I want to know what you think about Cash’s butt. Don’t you think he has a good butt?”

She is being a stinker at the moment and I’m going to fix her. “Why Granny, I did notice that he had a nice butt. That’s why Lizzie hog tied him and I spanked him.”

She laughs until tears roll down her face. She loves for me to tease her like that.

“Bailey, I don’t put anything past you and Lizzie, not one thing.” She is still laughing and shaking her head. She pats the side of her bed for me to take a seat.

I walk over and gently lower onto the bed. I don’t want to pull on any of the wires she has hooked up to the monitors, or hurt her. I reach for her hand and kiss it. I love this woman. I hope one day that I turn out just like her.

“Baby, I want to talk to you for a minute.”

She takes on a serious tone.

“Now, please keep an open mind. You know I’ve never steered you wrong before, right?”

This must be important because Granny is determined that I listen.

“No, ma’am, you’ve always given me the best advice. I can always count on your words of wisdom, Granny,” I tell her, smiling.

“Good, I’m glad you feel that way because what I have to say might not be what you want to hear.”

Her eyes crinkle up in concern and I pat her hand, “What is it, Granny? Goodness knows,
I need all the help I can get!”

“I want to talk about your relationship with Hendrix. Bailey, never let anyone talk down to you like he did last night when he came to pick you up. He doesn’t treat you with respect. A man’s job is to treat you with respect, Baby. Didn’t you know that? It’s the woman’s job to give the man a reason to respect her. When God created Eve, what part of Adam did he take out to make her?”

“Uh, the rib?” Where is she going with this?

“That’s right, close to the heart to be loved. He didn’t take from the feet, so we could be walked all over. So, don’t allow any man do that to you. If you don’t accept being treated that way, then they won’t treat you that way. You have to show them how you want them to treat you. If they really love you, they will want to treat you with respect.”

“How did learn all of this, Granny? I mean, I know how you learned the biblical stuff. You’re always reading your Bible.”

“It’s nothing I’ve learned. It’s more common sense. I guess when you get to be my age things just get to be clearer and you see things differently than you do when you’re in your twenties.” She smiles and turns her head a little.

“You really are the best granny a girl could ask for, ya know that?” I ask.

“So you’re not upset with me about this whole conversation?”

“How can I be upset when I know it’s the truth, whether I want to acknowledge it or not? Granny, I see what you’re saying and I’ll give it some thought, okay?”

“Fair enough.”

She looks delighted.

After lunch, Granny settles down for a nap. “Thank you, baby, for spending the morning with me, Bailey, but I’m going to rest for a while now because I know everyone else will be up here this afternoon.” She yawns.

While she sleeps, I go to Mom’s to see if there is anything I can do to help out with Papa and hopefully grab a catnap.

I walk into a dark and quiet house. Mom must have taken Papa to the hospital. The air is turned down low. Ah, my utopia. I’m taking this opportunity to spend time in La La Land because I need a siesta to get me through the rest of the day. Soon, I’m sawing logs.
