There were still a lot of things for Sierra to process. Living with magic and demons and vampires and witches and talking cats took some getting used to.

She was sad that the impressive Russian mural in the Vamptown tunnel entering her house had faded and disappeared within minutes of its discovery. Sierra had taken a photo with her smartphone before it disappeared but nothing showed up.

“Mystical things aren’t meant to be photographed,” Ronan had told her.

“Does that mean I can’t photograph you?”

“I’m real, not mystical,” he’d said.

Sierra was still coming to terms with her new reality and surroundings. The house was shaping up nicely. All the walls had been repainted. The sideboard was back in its original place but the photograph of Ronan’s sister on it was new. The kitchen had been redone and now housed new appliances, cherrywood cabinets, and a black countertop to go with her Keurig. She even had a new set of twelve mugs with a

logo courtesy of Bruce as a housewarming gift. They were unbreakable courtesy of Zoe’s grandmother.

“I’m home,” Sierra called out as she entered through the front door and found a naked Ronan standing there.

No matter how long she lived, she’d never grow tired of seeing him this way. He was crazy gorgeous to her. When she’d once told him so, he’d told her that he had a bump in his nose from breaking it as a teenager. She’d waved his words away. He was perfect to her. Unless he pissed her off. But even then she was still hot for him. She hadn’t told him she loved him. He hadn’t said he loved her. At least not in words spoken aloud. But they’d shared their feelings in other ways. Not just by making love but through their mingled thoughts. The mind-reading thing still worked when they wanted it to. It was working right now.
I love you, Ronan.

His brown eyes darkened, letting her know he received her telepathic message. Then he sent her one of his own.
I love you, Sierra, and always will. You astonish me. You challenge me. You complete me.

Her heart and her body just about melted. She wanted to jump his bones right there and then. She could tell by his lopsided smile that he knew it.

Looking over his shoulder, she noted, “I see you finished wallpapering the foyer. Good job.”

“Should I have left my tool belt on?” he drawled.

“I would just have to take it off. Just like I’m taking this off.” The day was warm enough even though it was March that she hadn’t worn a coat. Remembering Tanya’s instructions from weeks ago, Sierra crooked her knee and shimmied out of her slim skirt. Then she gracefully took hold of her ivory silk top and lifted it over her head. At least that was her intention. She did get her arm briefly stuck but hopefully Ronan didn’t notice.

Apparently he didn’t because his attention immediately focused on her breasts. Pulling her close, he cupped them in his hand and murmured in her ear. “I want you. Are you ready for some hot vampire sex?”

“Always.”

Scooping her in his arms, he hustled her into their bedroom. The romantic canopy bed that Zoe had conjured for them filled most of the space.

The room was done in pale peach that Ronan said reminded him of her bare skin. He made fast work of removing her lingerie but then slowed down to kiss every inch of skin he’d just revealed.

He traced the shell of her ear with his tongue before nibbling on her earlobe. She’d had no idea that area was such an erogenous zone. He’d taught her so much about her body and the pleasure he could give her.

He found nerve endings she didn’t even know existed, in the arch of her foot or the small of her back, then licked and nibbled his way over her body, creating a pathway of excitement that reached a crescendo when he reached the pulsing flesh between her parted legs. Once there he teased her with the tip of his tongue. Her clit emitted sharp quivers of delight shooting through to her very core.

She dug her heels into the bed and lifted her pelvis. He gripped her hips with both hands and held her in place as he continued to fiercely seduce her until spasms of bliss consumed her. Then he worked his way up her body, lapping at her navel, sucking on the rosy tip of each breast.

Sierra took his erection in her hands, encircling him and sliding her hand up and down his hard length. He plunged into her with a feral growl, joining them together with ferocious power. She put her hands on his sexy ass and pulled him even deeper. He communicated his approval of her actions by increasing the primal intensity of his possession of her.

The wildly erotic friction of his thrusts soon propelled her over the edge. Blissful spasms took hold of her. Her orgasm continued on and on as Ronan continued on and on until every iota of satisfaction was wrung from her and she vibrated inside and out.

Only then did he come, tilting back his head and shouting her name.

Afterward, she whispered, “That one should have been worth at least a hundred years.”

His grin was downright wolfish. “A hundred? More like a thousand.”

Sierra knew Ronan was no knight in shining armor. He was a vampire with a dark past. But the future was looking very bright because Sierra would be spending it with him—the love of her very long life.

. Cupcakes and vamps don’t necessarily go together, especially according to the leader of the Vamptown clan. With an ambitious and stubborn heroine who occasionally baffles this sexy hero, this is one delightful paranormal romp! Sinfully delicious.”
