[manhatten men 2] A Marrying Man (14 page)

By the time I got home, it was close to six. I walked into my place and found Casper sitting on the couch looking through pictures. He’d been a godsend, working with Blaine from home until he could go back to work fulltime. I smiled and threw my keys in the bowl by the door. Casper looked up and grinned at me.

“Hey, how was the day?” he asked.
“Good.” I nodded and removed my jacket, throwing it over the arm of the couch. I looked down at all the pictures on the table.
“What’s this one for?” I asked as I rifled through the pictures of muscular men.
“A new energy drink. We’re searching for just the right look.” Casper sighed and rubbed his face with his hands. “We just can’t seem to find him. Tall, muscular and tattooed.”
“Tattooed? Why?”
Casper shrugged. “That’s what the company asked for.”
I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed. A new ad campaign meant Blaine would be working himself to death. I’d seen it with Porsche Montclair’s perfume ad. He didn’t do anything halfway.
“Where is he?”
“In the tub. I told him to soak. His leg has been acting up.” Casper put the pictures in a neat pile and stood up. “Dinner was delivered and I put it in the stove to stay warm. Flowers are on the table in a vase and the champagne is on ice.” Casper grabbed his bag and patted my shoulder. “He’s going to say yes.”
“I hope so.” I walked Casper to the door. “Oh, I should warn you. Slater’s coming home on leave soon.”
Casper pursed his lips. “Wonderful.”
I tilted my head. “What is it about him you don’t like?”
“Besides the obvious?” Casper guffawed. “He’s a player and he’s military.”
“Which one bothers you more?”
“I won’t date someone in the military,” Casper blurted.
I narrowed my eyes. “Care to elaborate?”
Casper shook his head.
“Okay, I won’t push.” I shook Casper’s hand and opened the door for him. “Thank you for everything you’ve done for us, Casper.”
“It’s not a problem. I like this Blaine McKlintock better. You should have seen him a year ago.” Casper shuddered.
“That bad?” I smiled.
Casper nodded and chuckled, stepping out into the elevator. I waved and closed the door. I checked on dinner and set the table and then set off to find the man I was going to marry. Blaine was in the tub, eyes closed, iPod in his ears. I smiled down at his naked form in my oversized tub. He had gone from a cast to something that looked like a huge boot. I kneeled down next to the tub and caressed his cheek with the backs of my fingers. Blaine’s eyes opened and a smile lit up his face.
“Hey,” I whispered, leaning down to kiss him.
“Hi. How was your day?”
“Good. I was thinking about you the whole time. Casper just left. I see you’ve got a new ad you’re working on.”
Blaine sat up and I handed him his towel.
“Yes. Although I think this one may leave me bald. We have to find just the right look for this one.”
I held Blaine up as he toweled his hair and upper torso. I helped him with his lower body, stopping for kisses along the wet flesh. Blaine’s fingers played in my hair as I licked a path up his inner thigh. A soft sigh escaped his lips as I nudged one of his testicles with my nose.
“Mmm, Spencer.”
“How long has it been?” I asked, as I licked up his shaft.
“Too long.”
Blaine leaned against the wall as I continued to lick his dick in long, slow strokes. Beads of precome glistened at the tip and I licked a path around the head, stopping to dip inside and lap at the liquid pooling. I moaned as the flavor exploded on my tongue.
“Spencer?”
“Hmm?”
“Can’t stand up.”
I gave his dick a kiss and stood up, lifting him off the floor and into my arms. A gasp of surprise filled the bathroom and I took Blaine’s lips in a searing kiss. We fumbled our way into the bedroom and I placed him gently on the bed.
“Now, where was I?” I hovered over him looking into his eyes.
“Right here.” Blaine pointed to his still-hard dick.
I kissed him and nibbled at his lips.
“You know what I’d really like?”
Blaine lifted his head to kiss me and smiled against my lips.
“What?”
I framed his face with my hands. “I want you to make love to me.”
Blaine’s face registered shock, but he quickly replaced it with a look of lust.
“Are you sure?”
“Do you think you can manage?” I asked, motioning to his leg.
“I’ll find a way.”

Blaine managed to find a comfortable position and then worked my ass with his fingers. We’d been using the dildo now and then, but I really wanted to feel
Blaine.

Both of us had tested negative, but we were waiting on one more test to confirm, then when we made love, there’d be nothing between us. Blaine slid inside me, stroking my prostate with his cockhead and I gasped at not only the pressure, but the pleasure that accompanied it. Blaine kissed my neck and shoulder as he kept a nice slow stroke on my cock. Time and time again I gasped at the sensations that tingled through my body at his touch. His lips found mine and his tongue mimicked the movement of his body and hand. I came with a roar as Blaine came unglued behind me. My orgasm ebbed away slowly and I leaned my head back to look at Blaine. His eyes were closed and he was slightly panting.

“Blaine?”

Eyelashes fluttered, and then Blaine’s beautiful multi-colored eyes looked into mine.

“I love you,” I said.

“I love you.”

After an extra-long shower. I helped Blaine into the dining room. I sat him down and readied dinner. I had done almost the same thing for him on Valentine’s Day. With his leg the way it was, we had opted for a night in with a candlelit dinner and a naughty dessert.

I came in with the plate of Bolognese and Blaine was holding one of the roses in his hand.
“They’re purple, red and white.” Blaine stroked one of the petals.
I sat down and took his free hand. “Yes, they are. The second I set eyes on you, you never left my thoughts. Then I saw you again and spent time with you. We’ve already been through the ‘in sickness and health;’ what I want is the ‘til death do us part.”
Blaine’s eyes widened as I took the box out from underneath the table. I was going to do this right. I got down on one knee in front of him.
“Blaine McKlintock, would you do me the honor of becoming my husband?”
For just a moment I thought Blaine was going to make a run for the door. I could catch him easily, though; he wasn’t leaving my house without a ring on his finger. A slow smile lifted his lips and he leaned in to kiss me.
“Yes, Spencer. I will marry you.”
I tilted the ring into the light and Blaine narrowed his eyes at the inscription.
“Love you, Blondie?” Blaine chuckled.
“I didn’t know your name that day you walked into my office with Kent, all I knew is that you were one beautiful man, Blaine.” I slipped the ring on his finger and held him in my arms. This was right; I felt it down to my toes.
“Spencer?”
“Yes?”
“Aren’t you worried about your job? Even your status if we go public?”
I chuckled in his neck. “No. I’m not. The world is changing, Blaine, albeit slowly, but it is changing. Besides, I’ve never been one to give a flying fuck about what anyone thinks when it comes to my personal choices.”
“Hey, Spencer?”
“Yes?”
“I think we should make Terry and Kent plan our wedding.”
“You’ve got it, Blondie.”
