Pocket: With double strand of Victoria pick up and knit in twisted rib 17 sts for large pocket, work for 6 rows.

For small pocket, pick up and knit 13 sts work for 6 rows.

Work 3 rows of single crochet around entire work. Make a 2 st buttonhole 1” from bottom and 3½” apart.

Buttonhole: ∗ Chain 2 sts, skip 2 ∗ 5x.

Sew seams and insert sleeves.

Repeat single crochet and reverse crochet around sleeves.

5.5 sts = 1”
7 rows—1”

STITCH
Stockinette
Twisted rib
ROW 1: K2, P2
ROW 2: P2, K2
ROW 3: Knit second st by passing in back of first, then remove both at the same time
ROW 4: P2, K2

FINISHED
MEASUREMENT
Size 36 (38, 40)

With size 7 needles using Victoria cast on 94 (102, 106) sts.

Work in twisted rib for 2½".

Change to Angora Super and stockinette and work until piece measures 12” or desired length.

Change to size 6 needles and Victoria.

Work in twisted rib and start armhole shaping.

Bind off 5 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.

Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.

K2tog at each end of needle every other row 3x (7x, 9x).

When armhole measures 8½” put all sts on stitch holder.

FRONT

Proceed as for back until armhole measures 5½” Put center 18 sts on stitch holder.

Attach another ball of yarn, then at neck edge every other row bind off 3 sts 1 x, 2 sts 1 x, K2tog 4x.

When piece measures same as back put all sts on stitch holder.

 

FINISHING

With size 6 circular 16” needles pick up and knit 102 sts. Continue in twisted rib matching and keeping continuity of established pattern.

Work for 3".

Bind off in pattern.

Around armhole, single crochet 3 sts in a row, skip 1 st, continue all around followed by a row of reverse crochet.

BACK AND FRONT

Cast on 210 sts with size 7 needle.

Work in K1, P1 rib for 7½”.

K2tog, YO across the row.

Work in K1, P1 rib for 3 rows.

Bind off 90 sts.

FRONT

Continue on the next 120 sts. Decrease 30 sts evenly across the row to 90 sts.

Work 1 row in rib.

Left cup: Continue as follows in stockinette:

Decrease 6 sts on the first 40 sts. Increase 18 sts between sts 59 and 80 = 102 sts.

Work 3 rows in stockinette.

Place the first 34 sts on stitch holder.

Bind off 2 sts on right side every other row 5x, 1st 11 x.

At the same time bind off on left side as follows: 7 sts 1x, then every other row K2tog 8x, then every row K2tog 26x.

When piece measures 5” place remaining 6 sts on stitch holder.

Right cup: Work to match left cup, reversing shaping by picking up 34 sts on holder and increasing to 68 sts.

Borders: With size 4 needles pick up 50 sts for inside borders of cups, K1, P1 for 5 rows.

Bind off in rib pattern.

 

NECK BAND

Pick up and rib 6 sts left on holder and work for 10".

Repeat on the 6 sts left on the second holder and join together with a three–needle bind–off.

Pull ribbon through eyelet.

37 rows = 4”

MEASUREMENT
One size fits 6 to 10

BIKINI BOTTOM

Back: With size 7 needles cast on 9 sts. Work in stockinette until piece measures 1¼". Increase 1 st at each end of needle every other row 32x. When piece measures 7” place the remaining 73 sts on stitch holder.

Front: With size 7 needles cast on 9 sts. Work in stockinette until piece measures 1∗∗ Increase 1 st at beginning and end of needle every 4 rows 4x, then every other row 21 x. When piece measures 7” place the remaining 59 sts on stitch holder.

FINISHING

Join crotch together. With size 4 needles pick up 140 sts around each leg and K1, P1 for 5 rows. Bind off.

BORDERS

Top: With size 4 needles cast on 7 sts. Pick up sts on holder, cast on 7 sts. K1, P1 for 1". Bind off. Repeat same on other side.

BRA

I–Cord: With a double–pointed needle cast on 3 sts, knit 3 sts, push sts to front of needle, knit 3 sts. Do not turn work—repeat to desired length.

Left cup: Cast on 90 sts. Work 10 rows in rib, continue in stockinette. Decrease 6 sts on the first 40 sts. Increase 18 sts between sts 59 and 80 sts = 102 sts. Work 3 rows in stockinette, place 34 sts on holder.
