Murderville 2: The Epidemic (5 page)

“Scarlett,” he cried out as he banged on the wall, trying to release the pain that was building from within. He wanted his girl back.

After ten minutes, Po eventually regained his composure and turned off the water. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his lower half as he headed out of the bathroom. His heart dropped when he looked at the bed. There was no one there. Liberty had left. He panicked. With Liberty gone so was his chance of getting his stash back.

“Fuck!” he yelled as he punched the wall in frustration. He ran to the door and looked out and saw that his car was no longer parked out front. He slammed the door closed and clenched his jaws in bitterness. He had just driven halfway across the country for nothing. He plopped down on
the bed and shook his head in defeat. Life had been dealing him a losing hand lately, and his luck had gone from bad to worse in the blink of an eye.

Hearing someone slowly opening the door he quickly reached for his gun that he placed under the pillow the night before. His heartbeat slowed, and he aimed carefully at the door like it was second nature. It was times like this he was built for. He closed one eye so that he could shoot with precision, and Liberty came into his line of fire while holding two boxes from the diner up the road.

“Oh my—” she said as she froze in her tracks and stared down the barrel of a gun. Po lowered his gun and took a deep breath.

“I just went to get some breakfast. I wanted to surprise you,” Liberty said as she stood there confused.

“Look, I’m tripping. The shootout has my nerves on edge. I apologize, ma. Sit down. Relax,” Po said as put his gun back under the pillow, stood up, and grabbed his clothes from on top of the dresser. Liberty turned around and faced the door so that Po could get dressed without her watching.

“I didn’t know I was coming back into a war zone,” Liberty said playfully as she tried to ease the tension.

“I apologize. Shit’s just crazy right now,” Po explained as he finished dressing. He walked over to Liberty and gently turned her around. “So, what’s in the box?” he asked as he grinned. Liberty reluctantly returned the smile and sat at the small table in the corner.

“I hope you like omelets,” she said as she placed a box in front of her and then one across the table for Po.

“Actually, I do,” Po answered as he took a seat directly across from her. They managed to share the small table and have breakfast together. Po’s heart still was pumping, but he did little to let it show. The more he looked at Liberty, the more he wanted to tell her the truth about where they were headed. He wasn’t into rescuing damsels in distress. He was basically escorting her to her own demise.

After they finished up their food, Po looked down at his watch. “We have to stay on track. Are you ready to hit the road?”

“Yeah, just let me shower and I’ll be ready,” Liberty said as she stood up and walked over to the closet. She pulled her duffle bag from it and put it on the bed. As she began to pull out her clothes she peeked over at Po who seemed to be in deep thought.

“Okay, close your eyes. I have to get undressed,” Liberty said playfully while she held her blouse close to her chest.

“Okay, I got you,” Po said as he smiled and closed his eyes.

Liberty walked over to Po and waved her hand in front of his face to make sure he couldn’t see.

“I promise you I can’t see a thing,” he confirmed as he crossed his arms and sat back in the chair.

“Scout’s honor?” she said.

“I ain’t no Boy Scout, ma,” he replied with a laugh. “I got you. Go ahead and get undressed.”

Liberty quickly slipped out of her clothes, exposing her slim frame and plump buttocks. Her smooth, fair skin looked as if it were dipped in a pot of honey. She was beautiful and
was the type of woman that dwelled in the dreams of men. Po couldn’t help himself but peek just a little. He slightly opened his right eye and was astonished by her physique. Her clothes didn’t tell the story of her body. She was slim, but her breasts were perky while her hips were wide. Her backside was perfectly sculpted and hung like two teardrops. Po had to open his other eye so he could get a good view.

Beautiful,
he thought to himself as she stood completely naked and headed to the bathroom. His eyes were glued to her body, and he was mesmerized. Just before Liberty entered the bathroom, she slightly turned her head and locked eyes with Po. Po couldn’t take his eyes off of her. He had got caught looking, but he couldn’t bring himself to take his eyes away from the beauty queen. Po’s eyes drifted to the scar on her chest. It was the only imperfection on her body.

Liberty looked down at it too and placed a hand over the incision site. She turned crimson red as embarrassment filled her, and she hurriedly disappeared into the bathroom. Po didn’t know that he wasn’t only the only person that thought she was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen: the world did also. Wars had started over her, and soon another one would be ignited.

The following night the sound of the engine humming and the vibration of the car ride rocked Liberty to sleep. Po made his way through the clear highways while thinking about his next move after he got his money back from Samad. He looked over at Liberty and took a deep breath
as they neared the destination. He had managed to enter California while she was sleeping, so she had no idea that they were in Samad’s neck of the woods. He had driven all through the day and night to end the fiasco as soon as possible. Liberty never even realized that they crossed the California state line hours before. Samad’s residence was about ten miles away according to the navigational system.

The sun was just rising and his heart began to beat faster and faster as he approached the residence. He wanted to just turn around and not give Liberty up to Samad, but he had to remind himself that it was business. The thought of Po walking into a trap filled his mind, but he knew that he had to take his chances. He had to at least attempt to get his money back. It was either that or start from scratch and risk going to jail or dying in the streets while peddling drugs. He wasn’t trying to see that life again. Po clenched his jaws as he looked over at Liberty who was in a peaceful slumber. She rested her head gently against the window as he pulled up to the twelve-foot steel gates of Samad’s estate.

He noticed the extravagant estate sat on acres of land. It was simply amazing. It was definitely fit for a kingpin that hustled at the highest level of the game. Po’s eyes focused on the two guards standing at the gates, each with a shotgun in hand. The estate was heavily guarded, and Po knew that the only type of business that required such extreme measures of security was the drug business. He was dealing with a kingpin.

As soon as Po pulled up, the two Arab guards raised their weapons and approached the car. Po rolled down his
window. The guard leaned down and glared menacingly at him.

“Samad is expecting me,” Po said as he looked the guard square in the eye.

“We know,” the guard mumbled as he glanced over to the passenger seat and saw Liberty asleep. The guard pulled the walkie-talkie from his hip and said, “They have arrived.” He then gave the other guard a signal, and their access was granted. Po rolled up his window and proceeded down the long driveway that led to the mansion. Liberty began to squirm, and Po looked over at her beautiful face and the guilt sank in.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered as he shook his head.

“Sorry for what?” she said as she smiled and stretched her arms out. She focused on what was ahead, and her smile instantly was wiped from her face. She saw a house that would never be erased from her memory. It was Samad’s place. A place where she had experienced so much misery . . . so much pain.

“No, no, no. Please don’t take me here,” she pleaded. Po looked over at her and saw the tears forming in her eyes.

“I have to. I’m so sorry,” Po said as he looked away and continued to pull up to the house.

“Please turn around! Please!” Liberty begged as the tears began to flow. Her limbs began to shake, and she realized that she had been tricked by Po. “I thought you were different!” she yelled as she looked at the door handle and thought about jumping out and taking her chances. However, Po had the child locks on. As Liberty tugged on
the door and pleaded with Po, tears streamed down her face, and Po shook his head in disappointment as he never once looked over at her.

He pulled up to the house where three more Arab guards were waiting and a slender man wearing a Hugh Hefner-like robe over his slacks stood.

“Nooo. Please, please don’t do this. He’s going to kill me!” Liberty screamed as she grabbed Po by the collar of his shirt. She began to tug on him violently, scratching his neck. Po clenched his jaws and took the pain; he still wouldn’t look over at her. He knew he deserved the scratches so he took it like a man.

As he pulled up and stopped he merely whispered, “I’m sorry.” He dropped his head while unlocking the door. Immediately Samad’s goons opened the door and dragged her out while she kicked and screamed for dear life. Samad stood and watched with a smirk on his face. The goons held Liberty up and stood her right in front of him. His eyes assaulted her body as he stared her up and down. Liberty lowered her head in submission.

“Welcome home,” he said calmly as he took a puff of his cigar and walked toward Po’s car. The goons dragged Liberty inside the mansion, and Po watched as she faded into the house, pleading for her life.

“I see you are a smart businessman and took me up on my offer,” Samad said smoothly as he stood in front of the driver-side door.

“Where’s my money?” Po asked as he cut straight to the chase.

Samad put two fingers in his mouth and whistled. Seconds later, a man came out of the house with a duffle bag in his hand. He walked over to Po’s backseat and opened the door. He tossed the bag in and immediately headed back to the house.

“It’s all there, plus a bonus. One hundred grand to be exact,” Samad said smugly. Po reached back and unzipped the bag and began to flip through the bills. He saw nothing but rubber-banded Franklin faces and was instantly relieved.

“Good business. I’m gone. But can I ask you one thing,” Po said as he put his car in reverse.

“What’s that?” Samad asked just before he puffed his cigar.

“What are you going to do with her?”

“Do you want to know the truth?” Samad asked as he stepped closer to the car.

Po nodded, not really sure if he wanted to hear what Samad was going to say.

Samad closed his eyes and slightly grinned as if he was envisioning his sweetest memory. He took his time before he spoke, wanting to be as accurate and as vivid as humanly possible.

“First, I’m going to torture her for hours . . . slowly. I want her to feel death without experiencing it. It will be so beautiful. So painful. Then, once she has learned her lesson, I am going to make her my wife,” he said. His words were so passionate that you would have thought he was describing an immaculate painting. Samad’s obsession with Liberty
was evident. Po could tell that he had been waiting for years to exact revenge on her.

Po didn’t know what to say after that. He immediately saw in Samad’s eyes that he was a monster. Samad was practically drooling over the opportunity to punish Liberty. Po’s stomach turned as he noticed the slight erection that showed through Samad’s slacks. He was a man of power with a sick obsession for women. The glint of insanity in his eyes revealed his demonic intentions for Liberty. He would have no mercy on her, and Po was horrified that he had contributed to such madness. Vomit warmed the back of his throat as he thought of Liberty, but it was too late to change his mind. What was done was done. Po shook his head, disgusted, and then rolled up his window. He turned his car around and pulled away with a heavy heart. As he sped down the driveway, passing the guards at the gate, he hit his steering wheel in frustration, nearly hit the landscaping crew that was coming in as he zoomed by.

Po didn’t want to give Liberty up, but it was a done deal. He had to do what he had to do.

Liberty lay naked on the bed with each of her limbs bound to a bedpost. A tightly tied handkerchief muffled her mouth while her eyes darted around the bedroom. Samad had purposely left Liberty tied up for hours to torture her more. It was the waiting that drove her insane. She felt as though she were sitting on death row. The actual time spent anticipating the horrific event that was fated to occur was just as painful as the punishment itself. Samad understood this,
and it gave him extreme satisfaction. He was inside of her psyche, and her mental anguish gave him great pleasure.

Liberty’s eyes shot to the door when she heard someone enter: it was Samad.

“Well, you have finally returned home, Liberty. I have waited for this day for too long. I once told you that you belonged to me. I meant that with every fiber of my being,” he said as he stood over her and looked at her body and watched her squirm in terror. He reached down and ran his fingers up her body, sending horrific chills racing up Liberty’s spine. Her tears flowed freely as she closed her eyes and cringed at his touch.

“I’m going to teach you a lesson about leaving me,” he threatened. He walked over to his closet and pulled out a long leather whip. He had planned this moment for years, and it literally made his dick hard thinking about what he was about to do. He walked over to Liberty while grinning and slowly twirled the whip. Liberty’s muffled screams didn’t affect Samad at all as he thought about the pain he was about to inflict. He opened his robe with his free hand and whipped out his slightly erect penis. He then aimed it at Liberty’s face and began to urinate on her. She closed her eyes and twisted her body to avoid the pungent stream of piss, but it was to no avail. The urine got into her eyes and splashed all over her face. He shook his penis tauntingly as he continued to piss over her whole body while laughing in repulsive pleasure. Once he got done he grabbed the whip and began to strike her with all his might. He hit her all over her body, leaving red marks with each lashing. Samad
struck her repeatedly, and this was only the beginning. He was determined to make her suffer in the worst way.
