Lila was a research junkie. She knew all about Ben’s past, good, bad, and boring. What intrigued her and Wyatt when going over the applicants for the engineering position was his past dabbling with men and women. In college, he’d had relationships with men and women. He’d married mainly because it was expected of him. When his parents retired and moved abroad, Ben had finally accepted his marriage was for them more than him.

It was easy for him to be rational about his decisions without them hovering. The divorce was quick and clean, both of the participants ready to move forward in their lives, without their marriage strangling them. Lila had carefully read the transcripts and listened to the audiotapes of the conversations with his ex-wife, who had been carefully interviewed by one of her attorneys. She seemed happy in her new situation, not blaming Ben for the failed marriage, rather accepting that they were both young and insecure. Both had been eager to please their parents who expected normal male-female futures for their children. And both families expected grandchildren. Lila heard the pressure in the woman’s tone to please her elders. She admitted her marriage to Ben had been more for convenience than love as they were constantly put together in social situations by both sets of parents. She felt she and Ben accepted their push into marriage as a means to an end of not making waves.

She’d also admitted, at the time, she found going against her parents’ wishes beyond her strength. While she affirmed that she and Ben had done their best to make the marriage work, neither of them was the true love of their life they’d anticipated, rather they were comfortable with each other and neither had the guts to stand up and say no before it became too late to stop the wedding.

Lila was approaching the island dock and slowed the boat. It had been a long day, and she was tired. Tomorrow would be a busy day, and she wanted to talk to Wyatt before turning in. She would tell him all about sucking off Ben on the boat ride back to the dock, not leaving out any details of his length and girth, his taste, and how his body tensed when she fingered his anus and he finally shot his load. With a little luck, she’d get laid, too.

Chapter One

Lila and Wyatt decided before his last interview that Benjamin was the candidate they had been searching for. She let him sweat out the job situation for two weeks longer after their last meeting.

Sitting in her palatial office ensconced in the ugly cinderblock building, she scanned the files containing Ben’s complete history. Just one last look, she decided, before making the commitment on all levels. She took each file and scanned it, using the hidden video recordings of their meetings to refresh her thoughts.

The first time he was invited to the island, he was given a brief tour of the buildings he would oversee along with the plans for renovating them. She’d let Wyatt be the tour guide, figuring Ben would relate better to another man. Besides, it was daylight, and she wouldn’t risk the exposure to sunlight. He’d learn soon enough who was really in charge, but for the first meeting, she wanted to know how he’d relate to Wyatt. That was equally as important as how he considered her. If Wyatt was unhappy with him in any way, they’d move on to another candidate. But they’d hit it off, so to speak, while touring the outer fringes of the island by four-wheel drive motorized carts. She was privy to their conversations and liked that Ben asked technical questions rather than just accepted a sightseeing tour of the forbidden island.

He’d been shown the laboratory buildings and the research facilities. He’d not been allowed in Wyatt’s private lab or their personal living quarters. He seemed impressed by the changes that had already been made to the island since her purchase of it five years earlier. Until that time, it had been used as a private government laboratory. When it went on the market, she scooped it up and waited none too patiently until the permits were issued for private inhabitants. There had been no real competition, her first bid overpowering any others offered. Her terms had been precise. The island was to be considered off-limits to any and all outsiders. Her premise was the continuation of her and Wyatt’s experiments, although she’d been vague about their subject matter. With the money she offered, nobody seemed to care to investigate further, and her terms were agreed to.

She’d had some work done to the property immediately. Updating the interior of the living quarters came first, then redesigning the labs. All employees came each morning by private ferry and left each night the same way. No other boats were allowed to land unless specifically ordered by her or Wyatt. Once the main construction supplies arrived, they went back to a strict no-outsider policy. She employed a housekeeping staff of ten who cleaned the residences and cooked breakfast and lunch for the employees. Only a few were allowed into the private residence, each having been vetted several times over.

Most of the work centered on rebuilding and refurbishing the buildings already there. She had no need to update the exteriors, preferring to keep the institutional look. The workers who updated the interiors to her specification knew not to ask questions nor answer any to outsiders. Another crew worked on the landscapes and utilities. While electric was run underwater by cables, she insisted on adding solar and wind power, installing massive generators to run the island during storms. They also updated the electronics as needed and maintained the fiber-optic cables that ran the mile from the mainland.

At this point, she was almost ready to go completely off the mainland grid, becoming self-sufficient in all ways, her ultimate goal. Her one fool’s errand was to rebuild the old lighthouse that had been originally built back in the early eighteen hundreds. It had been used for many years, its white and black octagonal structure regal as seen from the shores of Long Island. Deactivated in l978, it lacked only structural renovations and its Fresnel lens to become useable again. It was her dream to bring it back to its original splendor, even if it was just for her private pleasure. That would be one of Ben’s first jobs to oversee. While he would be in charge of all the maintenance workers and their projects, he would answer to her and, in turn, to Wyatt when it came to the laboratories. Ben’s degrees in engineering, horticulture, and chemistry were all good fits for his responsibilities. What made him best suited for the job was his personality.

She and Wyatt had discussed him at length several times. They knew he was divorced and without children. He was short on cash after being unemployed for almost two years and lived in a rented, furnished apartment in Queens since his divorce. His ex-wife had remarried and moved to the west coast. What friends he had he saw little of, relationships fading when his marriage dissolved and he moved from their shared Long Island home and town.

He was handsome, with sun-bleached hair a bit longer than convention deemed proper. She decided it was his one nonverbal statement to the establishment. He had a prominent jawline, and his nose showed evidence of being broken several times. Twice she knew from high school and college basketball. He had amazingly dark brown eyes. His smile was a bit off-kilter, but he seemed to have an innate kindness about him.

She also knew he’d dabbled in homosexuality during his college days with fraternity brothers. While it seemed to have been a passing phase he discarded for his marriage, she knew he’d had one male friend since the divorce. It hadn’t lasted long, but at least it wasn’t a fling with an unknown. In fact, the man was from his married social circle and also recently divorced. It ended when he was offered a job in Florida that he took immediately. From her perspective, Ben seemed relieved the situation resolved itself without arguments and lasting attachments.

With careful consideration, Ben would fit her and Wyatt’s appetite for a third in their sexual activities. Lila knew Wyatt was interested in Ben, and after her blow job on the boat taking him back to the mainland after his last interview, she knew he was aroused and interested in her. What more could a woman ask for. Two men who understood she was in charge and who would take her direction in work and pleasure. She smiled, remembering how surprised Ben seemed when she stopped the boat to suck his cock. It was a test, of course, how would he respond, and was she interested in him and his equipment.

She’d been glad one of his first thoughts was about hurting Wyatt. She’d been happier when she actually got to feel and taste his cock. He was circumcised, as was Wyatt, her preference. His body was tight and athletic but not overly muscle-bound. He had a light trail of brown, curling hairs that covered his chest and ran down his belly, encompassing his erection like a halo. Lila smiled and knew one day soon she’d shave him bare, making his cock look longer and thicker.

Her prerequisite of a complete physical had been complied with, and he passed without incident, including no communicable diseases. That meant once he was initiated into her lifestyle the need for condoms would pass, and they could suck and fuck without worry. Having Ben live on the island was another of her prerequisites. Explained to him as being on-call in case of emergencies, it was her on-call needs that required him to be a resident.

He would have Sundays off and was free to visit the mainland as long as he didn’t divulge anything about his job or the workings of the island. Lila understood after a few months he probably wouldn’t want to visit the mainland often. She’d make sure he preferred to stay with her. After all was considered, she called the lab and asked Wyatt to join her for lunch. Served in her private dining room, they ate the superb meal of salmon with mustard sauce and pears poached in port along with a bottle of dry white wine.

“Have you decided about Ben?” Wyatt asked, topping off their wine glasses.

“I think he’ll be a fit, as long as you like him, too.” She watched Wyatt’s cheeks bloom pink. “Really, Wyatt, you still embarrass so easily, I find it endearing about you.”

“I find everything about you fascinating,” he said, pausing to sip from his glass. “I find it more incredible that you chose me as your first mate. Some days I still don’t know how I got so lucky.”

“I chose you because you’re handsome and smart, and your research would ultimately benefit us both. What we share is our curse and our pleasure. Besides, you’re willing to experiment with both our bodies without getting uptight.” Lila smiled. “And I like the way you fuck me, I love the way you lick my pussy. You do it with such enthusiasm.” She tipped her glass toward his, and he nodded.

“Did you enjoy sucking Ben’s cock on the boat ride?” Lila smiled at him and nodded her head. “Is he long and thick?”

“I should make you wait and find out for yourself. I’ll tell you this, he’s as wide as you but not quite as long.” She smiled at the memory. “I think I got his attention while sucking him off, but he was especially enamored when I bared my breasts for him. His face was locked in total shock.” She laughed and sipped her wine. “Don’t tell me you’re jealous. I thought we had this worked out years ago.”

“Not jealous, just anticipating.” Wyatt tilted his glass to her. “All right, I’m always a bit jealous when it comes to someone else touching you intimately. But I realize I let my work overtake me at times, and that’s not fair to you. Besides, some days I need help satisfying you.”

“We’ll give him the requisite three months to settle in before we initiate him. That will give us both time to make sure we want him full time.”

“Always thinking ahead, my dear.” They again toasted with their wine glasses.

“I want us both to be mentally and physically compatible. You know neither of us would last long with a piece of fluff man who has no depth, no matter how big his cock was.”

“Maybe he’ll settle in and find his niche.” Wyatt refilled both their wine glasses.

“You just want to find his niche in more ways than one. Seriously, we’ll give him a few months and then decide. Most important, I want to make sure you don’t get jealous.”

“I don’t have that right. We understand each other’s expectations. When I’m in the mood, I come first. If I’m locked away with work, you’re free to play.”

“Until you’re in the mood!” She put her glass aside and reached for his hand. “I know I’m blunt but usually correct. That’s what keeps us even. Don’t worry, Wyatt, our bond will never be broken, you’ll always be the Alpha male.”

“As long as I remember you’re the Alpha female over all of us.”

“As it should be. But I do respect you as a man, Wyatt, and your feelings do matter to me.”

“Do you think Ben will mind sharing you with me?”

“You’ll be sharing me with him, just remember you’re the first male here. You’re second in command to me in all departments.” She leaned forward and gave him a sly smile. “I can’t wait to watch him suck your cock or have him lick my pussy while you fuck his ass.”
