Newborn Love (BWWM) (Interracial with Baby) (8 page)

“Eric, shut the fuck up and just fuck me please. Make me come,” Ashley said as she joined him in making his dick hit her harder with each movement. “Yea, that’s right—fuck me with that big dick!”

Moments later, Eric climaxed and collapsed on top of Ashley, making her fall face forward on her bed. Ashley then realized she was feeling hot drops of what she think was Eric’s cum on her ass. That was when it hit her that she never asked him if he had a condom, which is what she usually did in the past. It never crossed her mind this time.

“Eric, did you just cum inside me? Did you not put on a condom?”

Silence.

Ashley turned her head around to look at him, afraid to stand up as she felt his cum running down her ass cheeks and the back of her thighs.

“Well?!”

“I pulled out, as you can feel. I’m sure I pulled out quick enough.”

“Negro, are you freaking crazy?” Pulling out is not a guarantee of anything, but even besides that we know you fuck around. It’s never been a question of using one before so why did you not pull one out this time?” Ashley asked him as she rushed off to the attached bathroom to clean herself up.

“Well I didn’t hear you begging me to put one on either. All you were concerned about was getting some of this dick, now weren’t you?” Eric said as he plopped his backside on her bed rubbing his dick as if he was proud.

“Fuck you!” Ashley shouted from the bathroom.

“You just did, and damn was it good.” Eric laughed but then tried to reassure Ashley. “Look sexy, for real though, you don’t have to worry about anything, so don’t. Just bring your sexy ass back here because I’m getting hard again.”

“We’re done for the night. There’s some lotion on my dresser—help yourself.”

“Damn, that’s cold!”

Ashley took her time coming out the bathroom as she beat herself up for not only going there with Eric in the first place, but then also being so careless. Once she made it back out to the bed, Eric was passed out on the bed. She started to wake his ass up and tell him to leave, but she was too tired to start going back and forth with him. She stretched out beside him and immediately dozed off herself. Now as she lay awake the next morning thinking back on all of the events of the previous night, including the sex with Eric, she started feeling sick to her stomach. She jumped out of the bed and rushed to the bathroom, releasing everything she had bottled up inside and let build up to this point. After about five minutes of letting out all the sickness, tears and emotions making her ill, she spent the next hour laid out on the cold, tile of the bathroom floor letting it cool her down. She then jumped into the shower to clean herself up, and brushed her teeth. When she left this bathroom she was ready to face the world bravely and move forward, whatever that meant. She had to start releasing herself of the memories of Adrian, but most importantly she needed to get Eric out of her bed and life for good this time. She was not about to go backwards again.

A couple of weeks had passed since that morning Ashley kicked Eric out of her life, and bed, for good. Their parting, surprisingly, was mutual and on good terms. It was as if Eric knew Ashley had no intention of rekindling whatever it was that they had, if they ever had anything. As Eric headed toward the front door, Ashley stopped him on the way out.

“You changing your mind—you don’t want me to leave, do you?” Eric jokingly asked with a smirk.

“Um, no I’m not changing my miind! Seriously, though, Eric—I have to ask you. Everything that happened last night just seems surreal. I mean, the irony of it all,” Ashley said.

“What do you mean?”

“This Lila chick came into my world almost a month ago stirring up shit. Everything was fine and I was happy, until her ass came along—someone from his past. Then come to find out, her boyfriend is someone from my past, and what happens? You, my past, comes out of nowhere and shake up things in Adrian’s life. That’s what I mean by the irony. Tell me the truth, Eric—was this all planned?”

“Really? You think I would do you like that, girl?” Eric asked as if he was offended by Ashley’s question.

“I don’t know. I would hope not but at the same time I know the way things ended between us without me saying a word. I could see you finding a way to get back in and getting back at me,” Ashley said.

“Well, I do have to admit that was cold how you just walked out my life like you did but at the same time I understand it. You deserve someone who will treat you right, and I guess I couldn’t expect that you would cheat—it’s not you. Please believe me, I had no idea when I met that punk Adrian that he was your nigga. Then when it was clear that he was I did lose it and wanted to get back at him because, like I said, he was with my girl that night.”

“Speaking of that night, Eric, did you see Adrian and Lila doing something that night? Had you caught them being intimate?”

“If you’re asking if I saw them fucking, no I didn’t. But I can tell by the way that she was looking at him that they were fucking. There was some history there, and she confirmed it later,” Eric said.

What Eric said stuck out to Ashley: The way SHE was looking at him. She already knew there was a past there, but maybe Eric did not know that. It wasn’t Ashley’s place to explain it either because it didn’t matter anyway. She was not being a part of this mess in any way.

“What are you thinking? You gonna take him back, aren’t you?” Eric said interrupting her thoughts.

“You know, I think I just need to move myself out of the equation period. Thanks for being honest—I just needed to know,” Ashley said before kissing Eric on the cheek then opening the door for him to exit.

Eric snickered as he took her cue. “You take care of yourself, ok?”

“You too, Eric.”

Also in those couple of weeks that had passed, it started to appear that Ashley and Adrian were done. Ashley had only told Carrie about all of the drama that unfolded, which Carrie tried to convince Ashley to talk to Adrian about. Ashley had left out some parts of the events, including the part about Eric spending the night. With what she did share, Carrie was convinced that things were not over between her sister and Adrian. It took Adrian about a week before he decided to check on Ashley. He decided to first try calling her while she was at work when he knew he’d most likely get her voicemail. The voicemail message consisted of him explaining that he was giving her time to cool off and him asking for her to call him back so they could plan on meeting to talk things out. Adrian also expressed how he could see how things looked from her perspective and how he wished his reaction was different. Ashley must have listened to that message over and over, at least six times back-to-back, during her lunch break. She wanted to call him back so badly, but at the same time she was not yet ready to face him. Besides still being upset by Adrian’s reaction and actions that evening, she was still dealing with her own guilt of having messed around with Eric. If there was any hope for her and Adrian getting back together, she couldn’t imagine keeping that secret from Adrian. At the same time, though, she could not imagine telling him the truth either. It was hard, but Ashley ignored Adrian’s request for her to call him back. When a couple of days had passed since he left the voicemail, the text messages started coming in asking her if she was ignoring him. Then there were the text messages that continued the following day showing concern for her wellbeing. It was then, that evening before bedtime, that Ashley responded to the last text message making Adrian aware that she was well and there was no need for him to worry. When she responded to that message, Adrian decided to call her again. Ashley decided to accept the phone call.

“Hello?”

“He-Hey! How are you doing?”

Ashley was getting a kick out of Adrian already as he stuttered over his words nervously. “Were you not expecting me to answer or something?” she asked going straight in on him to make him even more nervous.

“Well, I wasn’t but I’m glad that you did. How are you?” Adrian asked.

“I’m good.”

“That’s good. I was beginning to worry since you weren’t responding to my calls and messages.”

“Oh,” Ashley responded not really sure how to respond to that and not really caring how dry it came across. “So were you calling for something in particular, Adrian?”

“Look Ashley, I realize I owe you an apology—a few apologies, in fact. When I look back over everything that went down I realize things could have been handled so much differently. I would really like to see you in person so we can talk about all of this. I know you have some questions and we just need to clear the air about all of this,” Adrian said.

“What did you have in mind?”

“How about dinner tomorrow night?”

Ashley hesitated to answer, not wanting to come across too anxious. She was very curious to see what Adrian had to say though. “Why don’t you name the place and I’ll head straight there to meet you after work.”

“Cool!” Adrian said a bit more excited than intended but he was happy she had agreed to dinner. He had missed her and realized in her absence how much he really wanted her in his life. He now had the chance to try to win her back and he did not plan to mess this up.

The next morning, Ashley awoke early enough to pick out an outfit for work that would easily transition into a good date night outfit as well. She didn’t want to appear as having put any extra effort into looking nice, like this was a real date, but at the same time she wanted to step into the restaurant she was meeting Adrian at and make him desire her more than he ever had. Ashley still loved him very much and a part of her felt as if things were not over between them, but she also did not want to get her hopes up either. She and Adrian had been through so much in such a short time that tested their trust in one another; this was something that Ashley had always had a problem with in her relationships. Could they possibly bounce back from all of this? Ashley would find out this evening, but first she had to make sure her appearance was up to par.

The time just seemed to drag while Ashley tried her best to stay focused at work. She found herself checking the clock in the classroom about every hour. During her lunch break Adrian even sent her a text message asking how her day was and confirming whether or not they were still on for dinner that evening, which Ashley assured him that she would be there right after work. When her last class ended that afternoon, Ashley rushed out of the school on time so she could make it to her favorite downtown restaurant where Adrian suggested they meet so she could arrive earlier than him. She wanted to freshen up her makeup and change before he arrived. Ten minutes later when she arrived there, Ashley slipped out of her flats and put on her colorful peep-toe wedges once she parked her car. She also took off the blazer she had thrown over her black maxi dress to reveal more of her upper body, bringing attention to her toned arms and just a hint of cleavage. When she made it inside the restaurant she did a quick check to make sure Adrian wasn’t anywhere in sight before she rushed off to the restroom. After reapplying her makeup and perfume, she checked herself in the full-length mirror where she gave herself a thumbs-up for how sexy she looked. When she made it back out to the lobby, Adrian was just entering the restaurant with a bouquet of flowers in hand. Wow, he’s really pulling out all the stops, Ashley thought to herself as she walked toward him. They both, for a quick moment, were almost stunned by how amazing they looked to one another. It had been weeks since they actually saw one another, and both of them seemed to realize this at the same moment as they both appeared to be nervous and unsure of how to greet one another. Ashley stopped in her tracks to let Adrian come to her, which he did while extending the roses out for her to accept.

“Thank you—they are beautiful,” Ashley said with a smile as Adrian leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. While Ashley was admiring how handsome Adrian looked in his suit, she took in the scent of him in her favorite cologne that she loved on him.

“You’re welcome. You look beautiful by the way,” Adrian said as he took in the sweet floral scent of Ashley and how stunning she looked. He noticed how she seemed to have a glow to her, which made Adrian yearn for her even more. He felt as if Ashley seemed to be doing well without him, so it sort of made him sad, but he planned on changing all of that before the evening was done.

“Thank you,” Ashley responded with a smile before Adrian led them to the hostess to notify her of their reservation. As Ashley followed the hostess inside the restaurant to their table she could feel Adrian’s eyes on her backside, which reminded her to put just a little more emphasis on the switch that she naturally carried in her walk anyway. Adrian told the hostess thank you as he pulled out Ashley’s chair for her to sit down before taking the seat directly in front of her. They didn’t say much to each other while the waiter came and took their orders, but finally Ashley decided to break the ice. “So Adrian, what did you want to say?”

“Yea, I guess I’ve danced around the real reason for wanting us to meet,” Adrian said as he grabbed Ashley’s hand. “Here’s the short version of everything I’ve been wanting to say these past few weeks. First, know that there was and is not anything going on with Lila and I. Everything that I had told you about her before was the truth. I just made the mistake of really thinking that she and I could really be friends after all of that went down. I didn’t take into account your feelings and how it may have looked to you—me choosing to try to put on the friend hat to someone who wanted me for more than friendship. It took me talking it out with my sister to see it from your perspective.”
