“We’re here for you. Let us help. You’re not alone anymore,” Lucy whispered but her concern ricocheted around the room with the force of a rifle shot.

“Fuck. And thanks.” Silas dropped his head against the cushion, his eyes closed as though blocking out the world would improve his odds of winning his struggle to maintain composure. “It’s different. Hard to adjust. Everything in my life is chaos. I’m used to order, black and white, right and wrong. How can I be in control when everything is gray? My whole life has fucking changed.”

“Some things for the better, right?” Lucy peeked at the man she consoled.

Bad day or not, Colby would crush Silas if he hurt his wife.

“Yeah. Shit, yes.” Si didn’t disappoint. “You’re amazing. Both of you. I couldn’t do this without you.”

“Do what?” Lucy petted his solid abdomen as it flexed with his elevated respiration. Colby fluffed his collar to release some steam despite the dread swirling around them like a cloud.

“Fuck it. JD knows what you mean to me. I don’t intend to turn from you ever again. He has to suspect I’d tell you.”

“What does your dad have to do with this?” Lucy raised her head, her eyebrows scrunching together as she tried to decipher Silas’s ramblings.

The answer became clear as the mountain spring in the west pasture to Colby. All the times he’d caught JD rubbing his side, the persistent cough he played off as allergies, the gruff determination to teach Colby the strategic side of ranching this summer when he’d focused on operations for a decade.

Oh, son of a bitch.

“JD’s sick.” Colby swung his gaze to Silas’s grateful stare. Si hadn’t had to break his father’s confidence yet he didn’t have to tow the line alone. Never again.

“What?” Lucy started to stand but her men kept her in place. “I’ll go to him. I can help. I was just at the house. No one said anything.”

“They don’t know. It’s worse than a simple cold or a broken leg, baby.” Colby hated the terror in his wife’s eyes. She thought of JD as her own father. They all did.

“He’s convinced he’s dying.” Silas stated the facts in a cold, distant tone.

“No!” Lucy struggled until Colby worried she might hurt Si. He tugged her into his arms, cradling her between his body and Silas’s. “It can’t be true.”

“Nothing’s for sure yet.” Silas shook off some of his gloom to reassure her. Having a purpose seemed to help the commanding man. “Somehow I have to convince him to see a doctor.”

“Between the three of us, we’ll wear him down.” Lucy’s half-hearted attempt fell flat.

“You don’t believe that. Unless I missed a shitload more than I thought, my father isn’t the kind of man to succumb to badgering.”

“Maybe it’s time to convince Seth to come home.” Colby spoke softly, serious. “He’s learned tons from Kirkland’s ranch. If the three of us can prove we have things under control here, it could take some of the pressure off JD. Then I bet he’d consider it.”

“You have a point, but Seth has some…
issues
of his own.” Silas rubbed his temples. “Let’s wait a bit. We might work a miracle. If not, I’ll make the call.”

“It could be nothing.” The rain cloud darkening Lucy’s natural glow lifted.

Colby debated correcting her. He couldn’t allow them to live with false hope. “I’ll be praying, like everyone else, it’s something minor. But I can’t ignore the signs. He’s never slowed down a minute in all the years I’ve lived here. This summer… I should have put it together. Should have caught this sooner.”

“We all should have. I’ve noticed he seems tired.” Lucy whimpered, and Silas stroked her cheek. “I assumed the heat affected him more this year, now that he’s a bit older.”

“He’s such a badass. He makes it easy to forget he and Vicky have so many years between them.” Colby nuzzled his wife’s neck. “He’s close to seventy.”

Lucy nodded. “Vicky grumbled about her fiftieth coming up next year.”

“Whatever happens, Silas, we’ll handle it together.” Colby met his friend’s gaze over his wife’s bowed head. “No more secrets between us. We’re one unit, unconventional or not. Aren’t we?”

Lucy perked up in time to witness Si’s response.

“Fuck, yes.” Determination blazed in the man’s eyes. “If you’ll have me. If it won’t interfere with what you two have built. Nothing can tear us apart. I need you. I need what we have together.”

“That’s right. When the world is crazy outside, we’re here.” Lucy leaned in Colby’s grip to place a calming kiss on their partner’s lips. “Never forget. With us, you’re in control.”

Colby’s cock lifted at the implication. Could the time finally be right?

“I’ve waited a long time for you to claim what’s yours.” Colby hesitated until Lucy smiled up at him, encouraging. “Take me, Silas? Find peace with me. Please?”

“I can’t.” Si threatened to splinter his soul.

“Why the hell not?” Lucy jumped to his defense. He didn’t think he could beg twice.

“I won’t be gentle. Not now.” Silas shook his head. “Not like this.”

“He didn’t ask you to treat him with kid gloves.” Lu took Silas’s face in her palms, forcing him to meet her determined stare. “He’s strong, Si. So strong. He wants all of you. He needs the unbridled passion only you can give him. Show him who owns him. Owns us both. Prove to yourself, you
can
take control.”

Quick as a flash flood, and with all the same elemental power, Silas snapped.

He roared, “Bedroom, now.”

Chapter Nine

Lucy wiggled from between the two men sandwiching her on the couch, impatient to obey Silas. With her on one side and Colby on the other, they ducked beneath Si’s arms, which bulged with muscle, and helped him the short distance to their bedroom. Her hand swept from his waist over his tight ass, covered with soft cotton sweatshorts, when she released him to stand on his one good leg with Colby for support.

Without waiting for instruction, she knelt before him.

Lucy tucked her fingers into his waistband and stripped the light fabric from his trim hips, down his powerful thighs, careful not to snag them on the immobilizing brace. The ridge of his calves drew her fingers. She explored the furred skin a moment before raising her gaze.

His thick cock dangled, half-hard against his thigh. A flashback to the other night, when he’d packed her full, assaulted her senses. She shivered. An entire lifetime of fantasies hadn’t come close to the real thing. She couldn’t resist tasting him.

Lucy licked the broad crown capping his cock, sucking him to the depths of her mouth.

“Fuck, yes.” He hissed when she flicked her tongue over the sensitive underside of his shaft. “Get me good and stiff, angel. I’m gonna need one hell of a hard-on to penetrate your husband’s virgin ass.”

She shivered, moaning around the cock inflating by the second. Her gaze cut to her husband, afraid for a split second of what her abandon might inspire in him. She shouldn’t have worried. Lust burned in his gorgeous eyes. And, if she read him right, a little envy.

Colby licked his lips, and she moaned.

When Silas descended onto the bed, she followed him, devouring his shaft while she could still fit the whole thing in her mouth. Wouldn’t be much longer until he outgrew her. Already his thick shaft stretched her lips into a tight ring and she couldn’t help but graze her teeth over his hard-on.

“Just like that.” Silas stroked her cheeks around his embedded cock, smiling into her eyes.

Colby’s hand broke her line of sight when he reached between her and Si to peel Si’s T-shirt from his ripped torso. Her husband’s spectacular muscularity seemed lean compared to Silas’s bulk. How much hard living had he done to earn this ideal physique?

“Stand.” He tugged her hair hard enough to sting. Her pussy gushed. She released him from her mouth reluctantly.

As much as she savored Colby’s gentle loving, she’d be lying if she claimed she never longed for something a little more raw. A teensy bit rougher.

“Undress each other.” Silas leaned on one elbow like a sultan observing his harem. He used the other hand to stroke his raging erection.

She didn’t react immediately, fascinated with how he touched himself—firm yet gentle in places. Colby must have suffered the same distraction because Silas growled.

“Don’t make me repeat myself.” He swiped the bead of precome from his tip with his thumb then massaged it into his engorged flesh as he threatened, “I can still put you over my good knee.”

A flash of heat rushed up Lucy’s chest, neck and cheeks at the mental image of Silas pinning her to the mattress with one broad hand while the other delivered spank after spank until her wetness ran onto his fingers and Colby cleaned them both.

“I don’t think that was an effective deterrent, Si.” Colby groaned and took a step closer.

“Then how about this…” The injured man’s hips arced off the mattress, thrusting his cock through the ring of his fingers to the base. He looked huge. Long and wide. “If you don’t get naked quick, I’ll take care of myself.”

“No!” Lucy clapped her hand over her mouth, horrified. How could he play her so well?

Colby chuckled as he edged closer, nipping her neck before whispering, “Don’t worry, baby. He wants us as bad as we want him. Let’s put on a nice show for Si.”

She couldn’t think clearly enough to do anything more than respond to her instincts, which screamed to touch her men skin on skin. She crumpled Colby’s button-down shirt in her fists, one on each side of the center, then yanked. Plastic pinged off the window, the floor and the furniture as the gap revealed his sleeveless undershirt.

“Much better.” Silas abandoned his thick shaft, which thudded onto his flexed abs, in favor of cupping his balls. They filled his palm as he rolled them back and forth. “Keep going. Show me every inch of
my
lovers. You are mine. You understand that, right?”

“God, yes.” Colby answered in unison with her. They looked at each other and grinned.

She decided to get down to business. The throbbing in her core wouldn’t tolerate her torturing her men much longer. Every instant she tormented them withheld her own pleasure.

Lucy grabbed the hem of her dress and whipped it over her head, leaving her standing before her husband and his ravenous best friend. She wore nothing more than a few scraps of delicate lavender lace.

Colby clutched his chest and Silas’s cock twitched on his belly. She smirked over her shoulder as she pivoted then bent at the waist and grabbed her ankles to present her ass. The sight kicked her husband into action. He fell to his knees behind her then stripped the thong from her hips. The tiny line of drenched fabric between her legs brushed her pussy as it separated from her body, making her cry out.

“So beautiful.” Silas approved of the goods on display.

His lust spiked her arousal higher. A trickle of moisture ran down her thigh.

“You better not waste that, Colby.”

Lucy’s knees almost buckled when her husband licked a trail from her knee to her pussy at their lover’s instruction. He supported her as he nibbled on the puffy lips bracketing her opening. She arched her hips, hoping he’d spear her with his broad fingers.

“Go ahead, give her what she’s asking for.” Silas granted her husband permission to stuff her. “Spread her ass. Open her until there’s no doubt she’s, ready. Then slide in deep.”

Her husband followed orders, making her blush as he exposed her to Silas’s laser stare. When he penetrated her, all other thoughts fled. She squeezed him, hugging his hand as she welcomed him inside her body.

“Do you ever fuck her ass? Is she into it?”

Lucy wasn’t sure what it said about her that she enjoyed them discussing her as though she weren’t right there in the room. She couldn’t wait to serve them both, making their fantasies come true as they did the same for her.

“Once or twice.” Colby curled his fingers, rubbing a sweet spot inside her. “She came, but I think she prefers when I fill this sweet pussy.”

“Someday she’ll take us both.” Slick slapping sounds reached her ears as Silas jerked himself faster. “I’m gonna fuck that ass while you bury yourself in her pussy. All of us, linked together.”

Lucy moaned, a shockwave traveling out from her center to the tips of her fingers and toes.

“She’ll come if I’m not careful.” Colby kissed her hip, withdrawing a fraction of an inch and easing his knuckle from her clit.

“Already?” Silas groaned. “So responsive. Perfect. Take the edge off, Colby. Grant her release so we can take our time. She can come more than once in a session?”

“Hell, yes.” As though Colby couldn’t help it, his fingers bottomed out in her rippling sheath. “I think the record stands around a dozen times.”

“Sounds like a challenge to me.” Si grinned. “I fucking love a competition. As soon as I’m healed, we’ll find out who can make her shatter the most.”

Lucy couldn’t help herself. Her pussy spasmed around her husband’s fingers. He spread them, resisting the compression of her climaxing body, even as she clamped down. He extended her pleasure with short jabs through saturated tissue. She didn’t realize she’d gone lax until he bundled her in his arms and lowered her to the bed beside Silas.

“Come here, angel,” he murmured to her as the world returned to focus. “Did our Colby do a good job? Did he make it sweet for you?”

“Always.”

Silas lowered the cup of her bra until her full breast spilled from the garment. He surrounded the heavy mound with his hand, her hard nipple poking his palm, when she rolled onto her side. She jerked in his hold as aftershocks continued to zip along her spine. Unable to speak, she couldn’t express how much it meant to share this with them both. He didn’t need the promise. The appreciation for their gift must have shone from her eyes.

“This is just the beginning, Lu.” Silas slammed his mouth over hers, drawing her tongue between his lips then sucking hard. He overwhelmed her senses with pure greed before breaking away to stare at Colby. “My turn for a taste.”

Her husband put one knee on the mattress then extended his fingers. Silas lunged upward, nipping the digits before devouring her juices from them.

“So fucking sweet,” he groaned as he collapsed onto the bed. “But we’re going to have to work on following directions. Why do either of you still have clothes on?”
