“I don’t know if I feel like sharing you with two other girls, after all you did invite Amber and Megan to go with you to the same party.”

“What is wrong with you Chris?  Didn’t you think that one of us could handle your sexual needs?  Or did you think that as long as you kept it in the family, you could screw all three of us and we would mind sharing you.”

“Well it is not like I wouldn’t
be willing to give each of you equal time with me. Besides, how else am I going to decide which one of you is capable of fulfilling my sexual desires?”

“I think that I did a pretty good job of taking care of you today Chris.”

“You are such a kinky bastard Chris, I will bet that your idea of a perfect relationship, would be all three of us sleeping under one roof, and our main job would be to service you.”

“That sounds pretty damn nice Shelly. But do you mean that the three of you live in an apartment and I can come over whenever I feel like getting laid. Or do you mean that we all live under one roof like they do out west, you
know what I am talking about. What is it called when a man can have multiple wives?”

“Bigamist
smart ass, you really have some kind of nerve Chris. Do you really think that Megan and Amber could live under one roof? That isn’t even taking into account that you expect them to share you with each other without fighting.”

“Shelly I don’t understand the problem? You are the one who put the idea in my head. Besides, if you consider all the facts, I think that you would agree that sooner or later one of you is not going to want to have sex when I do. And rather than you having to worry that I am out there on the street, looking to get laid by another woman, one of your cousins will be there to take care of business. Now that I have explained the way things could work Shelly. Doesn’t it make more sense than ending up stuck in a bad marriage, with a half a dozen kids running around in diapers and your husband out there screwing everything in high heels?”

“Well when you put things into prospective like that Chris, I guess it wouldn’t be that bad sharing you with my cousins.”

“Listen Shelly, I hate to sound like a broken record, but if I don’t get out of here soon I am going to miss my interview with wife number four.”

“Damn you Chris, do you always have to tease me and try to make me jealous.”

“I am not trying to make you jealous Shelly, I just like the way you pout your lips when you get upset with me.” I knelled down, kissed her one last time, and walked out the door.

“Lock up on your way out Shelly, I will call you tomorrow.”

I didn’t really know if I meant what I had been saying to Shelly, but it was an interesting concept, living with three girls that I could have sex with whenever I chose too. I certainly was willing to consider the proposal, a
fter all, what did I have to lose. As I walk down the block, I passed a flower shop and decided to stop and get some flowers for my date with Sally. As I stood there trying to pick out the perfect bouquet of roses I started reminiscing about the first time I met Sally.

Chapter 10

I
have known Sally since High School, she was a couple years younger than I was and I first meet her at football practice when I tumbled into a group of cheerleaders while trying to intercept a pass, I damn near tackled her. As I looked up from the ground she stood over me with her cute little uniform and a pom-pom in each hand, and asked me if I was all right, I tried to answer her but all I could think of was those beautiful long legs standing in front me. I stood up and started dusting myself off and I finely got enough nerve to answer her.

“Yes I am alright as long as you don’t count the damage to my pride.”

She put out her hand and said. “Hi. My name is Sally” It took me forever to respond to her.

“I am sorry I must have bumped my head when I hit the ground.”
I was rubbing my head and trying to focus.

“You better sit down and rest for a few minutes, here put your arm around my neck and let me help you walk over to that bench.” As she lowered me down
on the bench, I could smell the scent of a musky perfume at the nap of neck. She started to stand up and she stopped just for a moment with her lips so close to mine that I could almost taste them.

“You never did tell me your name.” The coach yelled at me to get my sorry ass back up to the line if I didn’t want to run laps for the rest of the day. As I turned and started to run back on the
field, I yelled back to Sally, my name is Chris. That was the last time I spoke to Sally and we never did get a chance to go out on a date. I was always busy with football or working on my car, Oh we would pass each other in the hall and of course I would see her at the football games but I never got up enough nerve to ask her out on a date and I never did find out what that first kiss would have felt like. I looked at the clock on the wall at the flower shop, damn it was already seven o’clock and I have not even picked up my car. I finished picking out the flowers for Sally and walked back up to Billy’s Car Wash and as I approached the parking lot, I could see Billy putting the final touches on the wheels of my car. Billy looked up from what he was doing.

“Damn Chris you know I close at seven o’clock, I was about to come over and pick you up.”

“Thanks Billy, she looks great, how much do I owe you?” While gently stroking the fender of my car.

“The usual but I have already closed the register so if you don’t mind I will put it on your tab
and you can pay me tomorrow.” I stepped into my car and crank up her engine.

Thanks Billy, you’re a good friend. I will see you tomorrow.” As I drove to Sally’s house, I wondered how I wanted tonight to end. I reached her house at exactly eight o’clock and knocked on her door. I heard her call out to me from inside the house.

“Just a minute Chris.”
As she opens the door and invited me in, she asks me if I would like something to drink before we left. I stopped her in the hallway and admired her.

“You lo
ok absolutely gorgeous Sally.”  She was wearing a short black strapless dress that clung to the perfect curves of her figure. With a pair of stiletto heels that made her tanned shapely legs seem much longer than they actually were.

“Chris are these for me?”
She leaned over to smell the flowers.

“They are beautiful flowers.
How did you know that I loved pink roses?” She looks up and gives me a warm smile.

“I didn’t know what to get until I saw the pink roses and they reminded me of you.”

“Let me put these in water before we leave. She found an empty vase for the flowers and quickly came back to where I was standing by the front door. She kissed me on the cheek as we headed towards the car.

Thank you Chris, I love them.” I started the car and headed out of town.

“Where are we going Chris?”

“The Hickory House, I have reservation for eight-thirty.”

“Have you ever been there for dinner Sally? They have great food.” As we drove up the long cobblestone driveway of the Hickory House Sally gasped with delight.

“Oh my god, it’s beautiful.” I couldn’t help but enjoy the look on her face, but it didn’t surprise me. The Hickory House was one of the oldest and biggest conch houses on Stock Island, built sometime around the early nineteen hundreds. The structure of house was absolutely magnificent, with an enormous wrap round porch, gas light lighting, porch swings scattered in strategic locations and small tables for two set just far enough apart that you could have a private conversation. I love this place, mainly because of its location, it was built on a peninsular and the view of the open Atlantic sea crashing in to the coral reefs was picture perfect. I pulled up to the front door of the restaurant and a ballet opened the car door and put out his hand to help Sally out of car. As my car sped off to the parking lot, Sally took my arm as we entered the front door of the restaurant. A young attractive hostess was standing behind an old rustic pulpit that seemed to be built from driftwood and tarnished brass hardware.

“Do you have reservations sir?”
The young hostess inquired.

“Yes for eight-thirty.”

“May I have your name please?” She asked, while gazing at her computer screen.

“Of course you may, the name is Christopher Caldwell.”

“Thank you for joining us this evening Mr. Caldwell your table will be ready in a few moments. Would you like to wait at the bar Mr. Caldwell.”

“Yes that would be fine miss.” Dinner was great and Sally and I spent the evening getting to know each other. I seen her look at her watch and she said that it was getting late and she had to work in the morning. I paid the check and walked her out the door, as we drove home she continued to remises the old days back in high school.

“Chris remember the day that we meet, I always wondered why you never asked me for a date.” I told her that she was so hot back then that I didn’t think I had a chance with her.

“Are you kidding me Chris, I had the biggest crush on you. If you would asked me out, we would have been married and on our third baby by now.”

“Well Sally, I guess it is a good thing that we waited; I think that we are much better prepared for all of that now.” Note to self, one of the days I need to get serious about a woman.

“Yea
Chris but look at all the fun we could have been having all the years. Beside I would be asking you to come in for nightcap instead of kissing you goodnight.” She move closer to me, wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me a long passionate kiss.

“See that is just a small example of what you have been missing all these years.”
She takes a deep breath.

“That is not fair Sally; after all, you could have made it a little clearer that you were interested in me.”

“Well hopefully we have a chance to make up for past mistakes Chris.” She gave me one more kiss goodnight.

“I hope that I will see you again Chris.”

“May I call you next week Sally?” She blinks her eyes innocently.

“Of course you can call me. But w
hy are you going to wait till next week?”

“I am sorry; I thought I told you I was going to Coco Beach to register for school.”

“No you didn’t tell me you were leaving town for a week. Does that mean that you will be moving to Coco Beach to go to school?” I could see the disappointment on her face.

“No Sally, I am not moving to Coco Beach
yet. I plan on going to school during the week and coming home on Thursday for a long weekend but I really won’t know until I’ve been there for a few weeks. I have already checked my schedule and my classes are only Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so I will be here every weekend.”

“Chris where will you be staying?”

“My dad has a friend in Coco Beach that has offered me a place to stay.”

“I didn’t mean to sound like I was prying into your personal affairs. It is just that I had so much fun with you tonight and you caught me off guard by telling me that you may be leaving town for the next two years.”

“Sally, I think that we are getting way ahead of ourselves, I have not even registered for school yet, nor have I passed my entrance exam. Just to let you know, I had a wonderful time with you tonight and I am looking forward to seeing you again. Well I think I should be going now and remember if you do not hear from me by Wednesday I will call you next week when I get back in town.” On that note, I felt it was best that I left so I got into my car drove away.

One of the things I liked about my apartment was that it had a place for me to park my car in the back of the building. As usual, I pull down the alley and parked my car I started thinking how lucky I was to have such a nice apartment. The only setback was I had to walk around the corner to get to my front door. I had bought this building a couple years ago from my old man. He had bought the old building at a county tax sale a few years before I bought it from him. Evidently the previous owner had passed away owing a few years of county taxes on the property and it was sold at auction.

I loved the old two story red brick building, but boy was it run down when I bought it. The previous owner had owned it for about sixty years and I suppose when he became ill, he just let the building deteriorate, he didn’t have any children to help him maintain the building and after a few years of neglect, the interior dilapidated quickly. Shoot, you couldn’t even get to the second floor, the termites had eaten right though the old wooden staircase and it had crumble in a heap of wood and rusty nails right there in the middle of the building. But even with all the interior problems, the main structure and the roof were in good shape. So overall, I got a good deal, even if it did take me almost a year to rebuild the interior of the building. Hell how many guys my age can say that they own a seven thousand square foot building just a few blocks off Duval Street. Yes, it is all mine, and after more than a year of working on it after work, seven days a week, I have three store fronts on the first floor and of course my apartment and two smaller rental apartments on the second floor. As I casually walked towards my front door, I was in deep thought, thinking about school and how I was going to be able to keep my apartment. I have a small savings but I wasn’t sure it would be enough money to carry me though the school year. Needless to say I wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings and as I approach my front door I was quite shocked to see Amber sitting on my front door steps.
