ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lisa Preston was born the day of the great Alaskan earthquake and lived in the frozen North for twenty years. She has worked as a college teacher, fire department paramedic, and a police sergeant, using her downtime to earn odd degrees such as a minor in Canadian Studies. She lives in western Washington where she writes and rides the wilderness on Akhal Tekes.
