“Yes,
Master.
” Mariana moaned.

Scott kissed her earlobe. “Good girl,” he whispered. He moved slowly moved inside her, filling her completely.  He reached up and held onto her wrists with both of his hands. Every thrust he gave her it seemed more of his cock filled her.

The increased pressure was a new sensation to Mariana and she felt a little uncomfortable. “Yellow,
Master.
” She begged.

“I’ll take it easy,” Scott assured. He set a nice pace, riding Mariana’s ass as she gripped the headboard. Mariana cooed and whimpered but it wasn’t good enough for Scott. He wanted to hear her moan. He wanted to hear scream his name. His ego
demanded
it. “Do you want me to fuck you?”

“Yes,
Master.
” Mariana responded.  She gripped the headboard tighter to brace herself.

Scott moved faster inside her with quick, deep strokes. With every thrust Scott gave Mariana, her walls tightened up. Her whimpers morphed into moans and Scott soon got his wish; she was screaming his name. “
Master
…oh fuck me,
Master
,” she cried. She felt his cock become harder as he erupted into an orgasm.

He grunted and his body shook as he came, gripping Mariana’s wrists tighter. He pulled out of her and discarded the condom. He removed the pillow from underneath Mariana’s waist. He laid back on the bed and adjusted her body so her heat was directly over his mouth. He wrapped his hands around her waist and licked her swollen clit. His tongue had fierce, quick strokes and her pearl lightly bounced around his tongue.

Mariana gripped the headboard harder. The pleasure was making her dizzy, her body was ablaze.  Her legs shook and her body was covered in sweat. “Fuck!
Master
, I’m cumming!” Mariana screamed as she convulsed and collapsed on the bed.

Scott lifted Mariana’s body to the side and rejoined her on the bed. He found her passed out. “I see you liked being tied up.”

“I don’t think this is a good idea,” Mariana walked back to her apartment.

Scott escorted Mariana upstairs to her apartment. If Sarah hated him like Mariana claimed, it made for interesting times. Even he was curious on how she was going to react. “She’s not going to do anything to me, Mari,” he said.

They reached her apartment and stood outside the door. “I don’t want any drama, Scott, from you or her.” Mariana put her foot down. “You don’t have to like each other but I don’t want any bull…" She remembered the cursing fee imposed by Scott. "…I don't want any crap from neither one of you. I have enough on my plate as it is.”

“You won’t get any from me, Mari that I promise you.” Scott assured her.
Your best friend, however, wants to fuck me.

Mariana sighed and reluctantly entered her apartment. “Sarah, we’re home!” she called out.

Sarah emerged from her bedroom with the same condescending look she gave Mariana the other night. She glanced over Mariana’s body to check for any visible markings. She was disappointed to find there were none. “I see someone’s getting clever at covering up the scars,” she commented.

“Whatever,” Mariana rolled her eyes, “Scott, I’ll be just a minute. I just need to pick something up.” She entered her bedroom and closed the door behind her.

Sarah waited to hear the door closed before she turned her attention to Scott. “So, how do you sleep with a clear conscience at night? Taking advantage of a single, Black woman. And I’m sure that slavery shit you’re doing with her just feeds your ego,” Sarah got in her shots with Scott. She didn’t know when she would be able to confront him again. “I’m assuming Mariana told you about our conversation? Don’t get too comfortable being with her. She’s only blinded by temporary dick. She’ll come to her senses soon enough.”

“Now let me ask you, Sarah, because I’m curious…” Scott folded his arms. “Are you normally this big of a cunt or am I just the lucky one?”

Sarah became enraged. She walked over to Scott. “You motherfu—…” She was about to slap him but was surprised when Scott caught her hand and pulled her close. He looked into her eyes and read her well.

“Funny how you’re not resisting when I did that, hmm?” Scott smiled.

“Let me go,” Sarah warned, “before I scream and Mari comes out.”

“Go ahead. Scream.” Scott dared. “I’m curious to hear what your screams sound like.”

Sarah snickered. “I’m not interested.”

“Yes you are.” Scott walked Sarah over to a nearby mirror and stood behind her. He lowered his lips to her earlobe. “I saw you watch us the other day. And you were watching long enough where it wasn’t just a curious thing. You want me spank your ass, don’t you? You want me to bend you over my knee, hmm?” His voice was seductive and Sarah felt weak. “I’m doing something your man isn’t giving you and you want a taste. But that’s not going to happen.”  Scott’s eyes were intense. “I strongly recommend you stay out of our relationship.”

“I’ll tell Mari you tried to hit on me,” Sarah warned.

“Please don’t flatter yourself,” Scott shot back.

“If I don’t get what I want, I’ll promise to break you up and I’ll make sure Mari will have nothing to do with you ever again.” Sarah smirked.

“Go ahead,” Scott let Sarah go, “and consider this a promise: you do that and I will make your life such a living hell even your great-grandchildren will still be feeling the effects.”

Mariana came out of her bedroom. “I couldn’t find the coupon so we don’t have to go to the store today.” She stated. She looked at Scott and Sarah. “Is everything okay between you two?”

“Oh, everything’s fine,” Scott looked over at Sarah, “Isn’t it?”

Sarah was heated. She hated Scott. He was disgusting, smug, and despicable. He was hot, sexy, and got her wet without even trying. And he
will
be hers even if it meant giving up Mariana in the process. “Everything is fine,” she smiled.

Chapter Fifteen

Holiday time in Los Angeles was extraordinary. It did get cold during the winter, though most people in colder climates would scoff at 50 degrees being considered cold. During the daytime, the climate ranged from 80-degree weather to sometimes 90 degrees. It wasn’t unusual to hear locals talk about spending the day at the beach in the middle of December.

Thanksgiving was the following week and Mariana still debated whether bringing Scott home to meet her parents was a good idea, despite the pair officially dating for almost six months. Her parents and brother knew of Scott but they didn’t know anything about him. For all they knew, Scott was a legend like the Loch-Ness monster or Big Foot. Mariana didn’t have a problem with that. The less her family knew, the better Mariana was off.

Still, Mariana prepared herself to be rejected by Scott. She may have been in love with him but with the way he acted, she wasn’t so sure if the feeling was reciprocated. Scott occasionally showered her with gifts and would even hold her hand in public but after dating for so long, neither one had whispered The Three Little Words to another.

Mariana had tried to tell him several times over but she kept getting the words caught in her throat. She made a half-assed attempt at sign language and Scott thought she was giving him the signal to hang loose.

Every month, the employees at McCormick and Sheppard had a birthday brunch, celebrating the birthdays of that particular month and a group potluck. After everyone had gotten their share of food, Mariana approached Scott at the buffet table.  She knew the protocol of approaching him at work. She never called him Scott or hinted at a personal relationship outside work. Scott didn’t tell her to do that; she did it on her own accordance. She appreciated her privacy just as much – if not more – than Scott did. “Mr. Reed, can I see you for a moment?”

“Sure thing, Ms. Harlow,” Scott put down his small plate of food, “let’s talk in my office.” He walked with Mariana to his office and closed the door behind them. “What’s going on, Mari?”

“I’m going home to visit my parents in Highland Hills for Thanksgiving.” Mariana began. “I’m sure you have plans so I can see you after the holiday.”

“I didn’t have any plans, Mari. But if you’re uncomfortable with me meeting your family, I understand.” Scott said.

“No, it’s not that…” Mariana shyly began. “I just didn’t know if you wanted to join me. I know it could be uncomfortable.”

“You’re not the first Black girl I’ve dated if that’s what you’re implying,” Scott replied, “and yes, I’ve had soul food.”

Mariana felt like a class-A idiot. “Forget I even mentioned anything.” She started to walk out of his office.

“Stop.” Scott instructed. “Come back here.” Mariana walked over to Scott and he wrapped his hands around her waist. “What’s really the problem?”

“You’re my first boyfriend in who knows how long and I don’t ever bring anyone home with me unless I…” Mariana looked down at her feet. The words were getting caught up in her throat again.

Scott lifted her face back up to his gaze. “Unless you’re what?”

“Unless I love them.”Mariana decided to get bold. If he was going to break up with her, she took comfort she didn't wear mascara. “I love you, Scott.”

Scott's heart melted. He knew she was sincere. He kissed her softly. Her lips were soft and scented with a soft cherry flavor. "I love you, too, Mari."

"Don't say it because I said it." She said.

"I don't and I only tell someone I love them if I truly mean it." He kissed he forehead. He knew what Mariana was trying to tell him via sign language but he wanted her to
say
it. “I would love to meet your family, Mari. I might have to stay late Thanksgiving Eve but I’ll be there on Thanksgiving, baby.”

Mariana hugged Scott tightly. “You don’t know how much this means to me, Scott.”

Scott held his girlfriend back. Feeling her in his arms was indescribable. “I think I have a pretty good idea.”

“Tawny! Come here!” Jennifer beckoned her. “Did you see Mariana’s new bag?” She held up the Chanel.

Tawny whistled. She knew just by looking at the designer label it was expensive. “Nice!”

“Yeah, but how can she afford this?” Jennifer questioned. “Do you know how much this bag is? We’re not getting paid that much to afford this?”

“I thought she said she had a cleaning job on the side. She must be making money from that.” Tawny replied.

“Yeah but come on!” Jennifer twirled the bag around. “How many toilets is one scrubbing to afford
this
?” Jennifer looked around to see if anyone was coming. “I wonder if there are any clues on where she got this?” She began to dig inside Mariana’s purse.

“Jenny, put it down.” Tawny grabbed Mariana’s bag and put it back underneath her desk. “Seriously, it’s really none of our business.”

“What? Can’t a girl just wonder why a housemaid is carrying a Chanel purse?” Jennifer smiled.

“Who cares? It doesn’t mean anything. Come on, let’s go. I want to get some cheesecake.” Tawny said.

“Fine, I’ll go.” Jennifer pouted. “I’m telling you there’s more to that chick than what she’s telling us.” She received a text on her Blackberry. “Hold on, let me take care of this real quick and I’ll be right there. Go ahead.”

“Don’t mess with her purse anymore, Jen.” Tawny warned.

“I won’t, I won’t.” Jennifer motioned Tawny to move along. A quick text message exchange with a client and Jennifer was eager to report to her supervisor about the new meeting later that afternoon.

On her way back to the party, she noticed Scott’s door opened and he stepped outside his office. If Mariana wasn’t going to sleep with the executive team, Jennifer clearly didn’t have a problem with it. She straightened out her suit and tussled her hair a little. She had had her eye on Scott the moment she laid eyes on him and she knew if he bedded her, it was guaranteed job security.

She began to walk towards Scott’s office when Mariana stepped out. They briefly held hands but quickly went their separate ways. “The fuck?” Jennifer said, not to anyone in particular. “She’s fucking Scott?”

Sarah was bored. She would rather watch paint dry or even trying out different makeup looks. Instead, she was in bed with Eric pretending to be the excited girlfriend.
