“Who?” Her excitement leaked through the phone, making Alisa smile.

“Logan Rider. He took me to lunch.”

“No freaking way!”

“Yes freaking way. He just messaged me.”

“OHMYGAWD. The Logan Rider?”

“There is only one Logan Rider.”

“You’re text messaging already?” Disbelief was apparent in her voice.

“It’s true! I see him again tomorrow at the meeting.”

“I won’t believe you until you take a picture with him and send it to me.”

“Fine, I will. I have to go, Joann.”

“Fine. Fine. Picture tomorrow.”

“I promise.”

“Better. Bye! And remember I’m here for you.”

“Thanks. Bye.”

This time she did drop the phone then went back to reading the script.
