Prue's Promises [Submissive Sirens 3] (Siren Publishing Allure) (9 page)

“Time to go, love. We need to discuss our contract.”

Cyrus’s words dripped over her like melted chocolate, and Prue stood automatically as he offered her his hand. She tucked her hand in his and was reminded of when he pulled her onto the dance floor, and suddenly wave after wave of lust assaulted her as she realized where this was going. Prue remembered heeding Cyrus’s commands on the porch, and her pussy swelled and moistened as she pictured what the next two weeks would bring. She smiled shyly at Cyrus, sensing his satisfaction, and she let him lead her out the door.

Prue’s nervousness increased in equal measure to her arousal as Cyrus led her through the club. They passed through hallways Prue hadn’t been shown on any of her tours, and they actually left the building for a moment. Cyrus led her to another, smaller building with a big gated arch smack in the middle of the structure that seemed to lead to a private courtyard, and Prue realized this must be where Cyrus lived. She stood quietly as he stopped in front of a door to the right of the arch, holding his hand as he pulled out a key and unlocked the door.

Cyrus turned back to Prue, making her heart skip a beat. His look was cool, but Prue had come to know he always looked like that, and the colder he seemed was often in direct contradiction with how affected he was.

“This used to be the stable of the estate.” Cyrus swung the heavy door inward as he spoke, holding Prue’s hand high as he helped guide her across the threshold. “It’s now my private home. Welcome.”

Prue looked around her and felt her mouth fall open. The place was gorgeous. The same combination of old and new was visible in here, and Prue wondered for the first time if it was Cyrus himself who liked that design esthetic. She looked around her, taking in the big living room beyond the entryway. Furnished with big leather chairs and a sofa, the room was inviting and cozy while still being modern and interesting. Prue could see colorful throws on the furniture that begged to be tossed around her shoulders, and she found herself walking across the room to the big fireplace built into a corner. One wall boasted an enormous flat screen TV, and there were vibrant paintings on the whitewashed walls as well as sculptures on the tables.

Prue stopped short, not knowing if she should have waited for Cyrus before venturing in. Cyrus was leaning against the door.

“You like?”

Prue smiled at him. “I like a lot.”

Cyrus smiled slightly, lighting Prue up all the way to her toes. “Let me show you the rest.” He again extended his hand, and Prue took it eagerly.

“There are a couple of rooms at the back of the house that I haven’t really touched. The place is built like a horseshoe, and I do most of my living up front, so the rooms at the back of the house are kind of vacant. There’s a bathroom behind the living room and a room that has an extra bed in it, but whenever I have guests, they usually stay in the club. The bedroom is up in the loft.”

Prue felt her eyes drift up, and she noticed the same rustic exposed beams that were all over the club. A staircase she hadn’t noticed when she entered spiraled up to a second level, and she held Cyrus’s hand tightly as they wound their way up.

The bedroom in the loft was opulent. The bed was the biggest Prue had ever seen, and it had a canopy frame of the same beams as on the ceiling. Dotting the beams up, down, and across were iron rings, and Prue felt her pussy soften as she imagined the wickedness Cyrus could get up to in this bed. The linens looked masculine but inviting. The rest of the furniture was heavy and rustic, and included a wardrobe, dresser, and two night tables.

Prue sighed with longing as Cyrus led her into the bathroom adjoining the bedroom. The walls were whitewashed like all the others, but the tiles of the counter and backsplash were hand painted, as were the basins of the matching sinks. Prue felt her curiosity rise as she took in the twin sinks, wondering if Cyrus played host frequently to women who’d be sharing his space.

She checked to see if she was drooling as she got an eyeful of the massive footed tub, looking appreciatively at its contoured lines and estimating that she and Cyrus would both be able to fit in there without anyone getting squished. There was a massive stained-glass window above the tub that bathed the whole room in warm light. She also looked forward to using the shower since it by itself was as big as her own bathroom at home. It was walled in frosted glass, and Prue could see a huge shower head on the ceiling as well as multiple smaller heads running down the walls. Prue could do some serious relaxing in this place, although she wasn’t sure how much time to relax she was actually going to have.

Cyrus was waiting patiently for her as she took everything in, and she smiled at him as she returned to his side. “This place is heavenly.”

He smiled slightly. “I’m going to get you very dirty, Prue, so the least I could do is offer you somewhere to get clean. And I should warn you,” he said, his tone serious, “that I have a bit of a thing for being clean. I’m all for getting dirty, but personal hygiene is very important to me. You’ll be expected to maintain my standards.”

Prue cocked an eyebrow at him, smiling coquettishly. “What if I want to stay dirty?” She liked flirting with him. It gave her a thrill when he got even colder, like he did now.

“It’s also the perfect place to get dirty.”

Cyrus led her down a set of stairs on the opposite side of the loft, leading Prue to an office. Obviously Cyrus liked to do some of his work at home rather than in the club, and Prue could imagine that spending every day in a BDSM club could get to be a little much.

There was another bathroom beside Cyrus’s office, and behind the two rooms was a long formal dining room.

“Do you entertain much?” Prue’s curiosity was piqued as she tried to sketch the character of the enigmatic Dom.

“Not really, but I like having the option available.” Cyrus’s response was exactly as Prue expected. “Do you cook?” His tone was mildly curious.

Prue laughed. “I can hold my own. I have a friend, Remy, who’s an incredible baker. I don’t pretend to be that good, but I stopped burning things a long time ago.”

Cyrus paused. “I remember your friend Remy. She was collared, was she not?”

Prue smiled widely thinking about it. “Absolutely. She’s married to her three Doms.” If she expected to shock Cyrus, she was disappointed. Apart from a slight raise of his eyebrows, he didn’t appear moved at all.

“And your other friend with the collar? Jessie, wasn’t it?”

Prue was surprised he’d remembered her friends’ names. “Jessie’s married to her Dom, too, but they also have a third. He’s a sub, too, and his name is Liam.”

Cyrus looked shrewdly at her. “Two friends in D/s ménage relationships? Do you also want to be shared, Prue?”

Prue shook her head immediately. “Nah. It’s never really interested me. Too many mechanics during sex.”

Cyrus gave her a quick smirk. “Not to mention all the laundry.”

Prue laughed, reminded of his sense of humor. “Yes, there is that.”

Cyrus became serious once more, stroking Prue’s hand as his eyes scorched her. “I think, Prue, you’ll find one Dom can be plenty if he knows what he’s doing.”

And just like that the laughter died on Prue’s lips as she found herself suddenly gasping for breath, her cheeks pinkening as she pictured what he meant. “I look forward to finding out, Sir.”

Cyrus pulled Prue through the dining room to the kitchen, impressing her with its looks and function.

“Just because I’m not a gourmet chef doesn’t mean I don’t want nice things.” Prue thought Cyrus sounded just a teeny bit defensive, and she raced to pacify him.

“It’s a beautiful kitchen, Sir. I’ll tell you what. I’ll try to make at least one gourmet meal in here to make it all worthwhile.”

Cyrus nodded, mollified. He pulled Prue through a side door in the kitchen. “We only have one more stop to make, but it’s on the other side of the house. It’s easier if we go through the courtyard than back up to the loft.”

Prue nearly stumbled as she got a glimpse of the courtyard framed by the house on three sides and a stone wall on the fourth. A hedonistic paradise, it contained more of the fragrant lavender and rosemary that surrounded the club, but here there was also a pool and a bar along with furniture and an outdoor grill and oven.

Prue’s perusal of the courtyard was cut short as Cyrus tugged her along with him, and she had to hurry to keep up. Wherever he was going, he clearly wanted to be there
now
.

Prue fought the urge to giggle hysterically as they reached the last stop on her tour. She might have known Cyrus would end with his personal playroom. She made a mental checklist in her head as she looked around the room.
St Andrew’s Cross? Check. Bondage stuff? Check. Suspension apparatus? Check. Canes, paddles, other spanking tools…check.
There was a large cabinet that she assumed was full of such fun items as plugs, vibrators, and lube, and she felt her heart rate speed up as she pictured working her way through the room with Cyrus over the next two weeks.

Prue turned to him now. “A fitting end to the tour, Sir.”
Does my voice really sound that breathless?

Cyrus led Prue over to the massive bed taking up almost a whole wall, pressing her shoulders gently until she sat down. “What better place for a negotiation?”

Prue’s breath hitched as Cyrus sat down beside her, reaching over for a stack of papers that had been sitting on the bed when they entered.

“Negotiation?”

Cyrus focused his laser like gaze on Prue, making her drop her eyes to the bed. “We need to discuss our contract, sub.”

Chapter 9

Prue felt deliciously nervous. She didn’t know that nervousness could be delicious, but the way Cyrus was looking at her made her feel equal parts aroused and wary, and she found the combination to be a heady one. She swallowed at Cyrus’s statement and licked her lips nervously. Cyrus’s blue eyes narrowed, and the way he was looking at her made her think he wanted to eat her alive.

Prue felt her mouth quirk at the corner. “Where do we start, Sir? This is new to me.”

Prue stilled as Cyrus reached out and petted her cheek, the small contact making her want to rub her face into his touch.

“Don’t worry, pet. I’ll be here to guide you.” Cyrus’s words were full of promise, and Prue felt a deep clenching of her pussy. It had been such a long time since she’d had sex, and her whole body was aflame for this man.

Cyrus cleared his throat, wrapping an arm around Prue and tugging her closer to him. He looked over at her and frowned. Before she could ask what was wrong, Cyrus spoke.

“I’d planned to do this in the playroom, but I’d rather we didn’t start to play together until Alejandro delivers his first lesson.”

It was on the tip of Prue’s tongue to blurt out that she’d rather be taught by him, Cyrus, but she held her silence and looked up at him, waiting for what he’d say next.

“We’ll continue in the bedroom.” With that statement, Cyrus stood up and moved in front of Prue. “Arms around my neck, pet.” He punctuated the command by spreading Prue’s legs and stepping between them, stooping down to cup his hands under her ass as he lifted her from the bed and into his arms.

Prue squeaked in alarm. She’d never been carried by anyone besides an occasional dance partner, and she had a moment where she wished she was as little as Lulu. She wrapped her arms and legs around Cyrus, tucking her face over his shoulder and clinging to him like a limpet as he strode with her in his arms to the front of the house. She closed her eyes against the dizziness as Cyrus made his way up the spiral staircase, and she buried her face in Cyrus’s neck, breathing in his irresistible scent. She could get drunk off the smell of him.

Prue was disoriented—and disappointed—when they reached the bedroom and Cyrus gently disengaged her legs and set her down on the floor. He sat down in an oversized armchair with a matching ottoman in front of it, and Prue felt her mouth get dry as he reached down and removed his shoes and socks. The simple act of disrobing, small as it was, had her heart beating a rapid tattoo in her chest as she reveled in the small intimacy of the moment. When Cyrus had finished, he kicked his feet up on the ottoman, stretching out and tucking an arm behind his head.

“The dress, pet. Lose it.”

Prue felt her mouth drop open. He wanted her naked for their negotiation? She admitted that the thought of being naked while he was fully clothed was a major turn-on, but she felt like the dress was the only tie she had to her sanity, and that if she took it off she’d be so far gone she might never find her way back.

Cyrus’s eyes hardened. “We don’t have a contract yet, love, so I’m not adding this to a tally. But for future, bear in mind that I hate to be kept waiting, and when you fail to obey a direct order immediately, I will punish you for it.”

Prue was sure her eyes were about to pop out of her head.

“The dress.
Now
.”

Prue didn’t hesitate this time. She reached down and grasped the hem of her pretty sundress and pulled it straight up over her head, thanking her lucky stars she was wearing one of the new thongs she’d bought at La Perla before coming here. She wasn’t exactly sure what to do with the dress, so she stood holding it in front of her.

Cyrus spoke patiently to her, for which Prue was grateful. She’d never been through anything like this before.

“Love, I wanted the dress off so I’d be able to look at the beautiful body I’m going to own. When I tell you to disrobe, you may place your garments on one of the hangers in the closet, or in the hamper should they need to be laundered. I’ll expect the same if I instruct you to undress me.”

Prue bit her lip. She felt so damn incompetent, and the feeling didn’t sit well with her. She walked to the closet Cyrus had pointed to and opened the door, reaching for a hanger that she made quick use of to hang her dress. Before she could return to Cyrus, he spoke again.
