He reached up, petting those dark curls, and Micah continued to suck gently, bringing him down and cleaning Tackett’s prick with his tongue. “Such a good pup.”

Micah let Tackett’s cock slip from his mouth. His blue eyes showed how pleased he was by Tackett’s praise, and he kissed the head of Tackett’s cock before saying, “Thank you, Sir. I’m glad I pleased you.”

Tackett petted those curls again before stretching out with his hands above his head, melting a little. Micah nuzzled his thigh for a moment. “Would you like me to bring you a cup of coffee before I start breakfast, Sir?” his said, his voice a little muffled as he continued to rub his face against Tackett’s thigh. His pup was acting like a satisfied cat. The thought made Tackett smile.

“That would be great, boy. Take care of the paddle and lube first, please.”

Micah placed one last kiss to Tackett’s skin and then stiffly got to his feet, gasping a little as the plug in his ass shifted. “Yes, Sir.” He moved efficiently, if not a little cautiously, putting away the paddle and lube, before hesitating. “Should I get dressed, Sir?” His cheeks turned pink. “It’s a little difficult holding the plug in, Sir.”

Tackett considered the request for a moment. He regretted he wouldn’t be able to view his handiwork on his boy’s ass, but he also didn’t want to create undue distress for the man after he’d been so good this morning. “Go ahead. You may wear only your jeans while you prepare breakfast.”

“Thank you, Sir,” Micah said appreciatively and grabbed his jeans from his backpack. Tackett had to cover his laughter as Micah bent over to pull his jeans on, hand flying to his ass to hold the plug in place. The boy groaned as the denim material was pulled up over his thighs and ass, but he took a deep breath, buttoned and zipped up, and slipped out of the room. Only then did Tackett let the snort of laughter escape.

It really was quite mean of him to laugh at the boy’s distress, but it felt too good to hold it in. He’d have to remember to pick up a harness for Micah’s plug. Not only for Micah’s comfort, which was secondary, but so Tackett could enjoy watching his pup move around with the plug and still have that gorgeous red ass on display while he did it.

While he was at Vibes, maybe he’d pick up the cock ring with ball plug he’d noticed last time. Tackett’s good feelings intensified. He could have so much fun with his pup. He sat against the headboard, legs stretched out, and removed a pad of paper and pen from the bedside table, starting a list, chuckling when he added a remote control vibrating plug. Oh, the things he was going to do to his pup.

Now that he had Micah, Tackett asked himself why the hell he hadn’t sought out the pleasures of a full-time sub sooner. No matter. Now that he had him, Tackett was going to take full advantage of the pleasure.

Chapter 15

T
HE
aroma of fried bacon and brewed coffee was still heavy in the air when Tackett, his belly full, stretched out on the couch, leaning against the armrest with his morning paper. Other than scanning the headlines, he wasn’t paying much attention to the articles. Micah, silent on his knees next to the couch, kept catching his attention. Trying to take his mind off the man, Tackett grabbed the remote, but instead of turning on the TV, he clicked the button for the CD player, the sounds of Cello Adagios playing low through the surround sound speakers.

Tackett tried once again to read the newspaper, but he kept getting whiffs of Micah’s scent and his gaze kept drifting to the slow rise and fall of Micah’s chest. After reading the same paragraph for the third time and still not comprehending it, Tackett threw the paper on the coffee table.

“C’mere, pup.” Micah lifted his head, his blue eyes a little unfocused. Tackett spread his legs and patted the couch between them. “Right here.”

“Yes, Sir,” Micah said softly, blinking his eyes as if trying to come back from wherever his mind had wandered to.

He helped Micah onto the couch, adjusting him until he was stretched out between Tackett’s spread thighs, back resting against his chest. “What were you thinking about?” he asked as soon as Micah was settled, smoothing a hand down the lean chest to the ridges of muscle on Micah’s stomach.

“Actually? I wasn’t thinking about anything, Sir.” The response seemed to shock Micah as much as it did Tackett.

“Nothing at all, pup?”
“Well….” Micah tilted his head, looking toward the ceiling. After a brief silence, he said, “When I first went to my knees, I was thinking about my ass. How the position I was in sucked. My thighs and ass were on fire, and the plug was in a weird position and it just made everything worse, because my asshole kept contracting around it. I wanted to shift to get my hole to stop trying to munch on the plug, because it was going to make my cock hard and with the cage, that would bring a whole new kind of pain, but I was afraid to displease or interrupt you.”

Tackett thought to say only Micah could say he hadn’t been thinking of anything and then go off on a longwinded rant, but he held his tongue, letting the boy continue.

“There wasn’t anything I could do about the pain so I tried ignoring it. I started counting your breaths and you can imagine how boring that was, and it wasn’t really working all that well since my ass still really fucking hurt and instead of trying to count, I tried matching my breaths to yours.” Micah twisted a bit and looked up at him. “It’s a lot harder than you think it is, Sir. It doesn’t feel natural.”

“I’m sure it doesn’t, pup.”

Micah settled his head back against Tackett’s shoulder. “For some reason, it worked. Don’t know how, I think the music helped—that’s really great music by the way—but the next thing I knew you were talking to me and the last thing I remembered before that was trying to match your breathing and then… nothing.”

Christ. Everything about this man just fascinated the hell out of Tackett. The way his mind worked was so damn interesting.

“Did you graduate?”

Micah sat up and glared at him. “I’m not retarded. My mom has my framed high school diploma to prove it.”

“I was asking if you graduated from college. One strike for disrespect and one strike for not addressing me as ‘Sir’.”

The anger abated from Micah’s expression, and his shoulders slumped. “Yes, Sir. I’m sorry.”

Tackett pulled Micah against him. “I know you’re not stupid, Micah. I should have phrased my question better. I was just curious what your course of study was to get a better feel for you.”

Micah blew out a huffed breath. “Your question was fine, it’s not your fault, Sir. It’s just a sore spot I guess.” Micah shrugged. “A lot of people thought I was too stupid to pass high school, but I did, because I wanted it really bad.”

“You’re not stupid,” Tackett repeated.

“It’s okay, Sir, I know what I am and most times I’m okay with that. But I want you to know you’re not wasting your time taking me on as a sub. Just like high school, I can accomplish something if I want it bad enough.”

How could Micah think he was stupid? Just because he had a difficult time focusing only meant he hadn’t found the right thing to focus on. Tackett meant to be the right thing. The thought that anyone would make Micah feel stupid just pissed him off to no end. “Do
not
call yourself stupid again,” Tackett growled. “If I have to beat that notion out of your fucking head, I will, right along with your inability to focus.” He grabbed Micah’s chin roughly and forced him to meet his gaze. “Do you understand me, boy?”

Micah’s eyes searched his, the tension evident in his body.

“I said, do you understand me, boy?” Tackett demanded, raising his voice a little.

“Yes, Sir,” Micah responded apprehensively.
Tackett could tell from Micah’s expression he didn’t completely believe him. He had no doubt the man believed Tackett would beat him and didn’t want to hear him call himself stupid, but that didn’t mean Micah believed he wasn’t. Forcing himself to ease his grip, Tackett placed a kiss to Micah’s lips before releasing his chin and did his best to relax against the armrest once again.
“Okay, pup. Hypothetically, if you could go to college, what would you want to study?”
“I don’t want to go to college,” he replied quickly.
“I’m not saying you have to, I’m asking if you could?”
Micah shook his head. “Honestly, Sir, I haven’t really wanted to be anything other than a sub. I love everything about the lifestyle: the submission, the service, the pain. I know that may sound like I don’t have ambition, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I have a lot of drive. My aspiration is to be someone’s everything and spend my life pleasing them.”
The notion was foreign to Tackett, who from a young age had desired money, position, and success, and had spent the majority of his life pursuing and obtaining those goals. “Don’t you want anything for yourself, pup?”
“Yes, Sir. I want to be able to brag that I have the happiest Master on the planet.” Micah smiled. “I want to know I’m the one who makes him that way through my submission and service.”
Tackett petted Micah’s curls. “I’m sure you’ll make your Master very happy one day, pup.”
“I want you to be my happy Master, Sir,” Micah said with conviction.
I want to be your Master.
The thought, and how quickly it popped into his head and how intense the feeling was, shocked Tackett to his core. In the last twenty-seven years, since he’d first left home, he’d never once wanted anyone to live with him. Hell, he hadn’t even had a roommate in college. How was it possible he was now thinking of opening his home to someone he barely knew? Tackett studied Micah’s profile. He looked relaxed, and as in his statement, it made no sense. It had to be the lust clouding their judgment, and he told Micah so.
“You can’t be sure of me, pup. Not yet.”
“Sure I can. I knew it when I first saw you. Felt it in my gut, and that feeling is only stronger now.”
For a man who seemed so unsure about his abilities and self, Micah sure sounded unwavering in his confidence in Tackett. He gave up trying to convince Micah he couldn’t be sure and tried another approach. “I know you think you want me as your Master, but I haven’t made the decision that I want you, or anyone, to be my full-time sub. That’s a big responsibility, Micah.”
Micah shrugged. “I’ll just have to work harder to convince you that you do and it’s me you want at your feet, Sir.”
“You’re a stubborn little shit, aren’t you?” Tackett grumbled. A statement that was becoming one he made a lot when it came to Micah.
Micah shifted and batted his long lashes at him. “Only when I want something really, really bad, Sir.”
Tackett narrowed his eyes, giving Micah a stern look, then grabbed the boy’s caged cock and tugged. “Would you like to see how stubborn I can be, pup?”
“No, Sir,” Micah groaned, trying to push against Tackett’s hand to decrease the pressure being exerted on his cock and balls. “Stubbornness gets naughty boys spanked.”
“Well it’s a damn good thing I’m not a boy then, isn’t it?” Tackett pulled a little harder.
Micah planted his feet on the couch, shoving his hips up off the couch. “Yes, Sir.” He panted when Tackett kept pulling, and Micah had pushed his body as far upward as it would go. “Ow! Fuck, fuck, fuck! Very good thing, Sir.”
Tackett held the cage firmly for another few seconds before releasing his grip. Micah slumped back to the couch and shouted again when his ass hit the cushion, no doubt pushing that plug nice and deep.
Micah rested his head against Tackett’s shoulder, breathing hard, hands rubbing at his abused crotch and mewling, low and pitiful sounds coming from him.
“Amazing, how quickly you can go from cocky to docile. It really is quite impressive, pup,” Tackett chuckled.
“Another one of my charms, Sir,” Micah pouted.
“You have a lot of little charms.” Tackett flicked the small gold ring in Micah’s right nipple. “And I plan on discovering them all. So do you think you can behave long enough to continue my fact-finding mission?”
“I’d rather you play with my charms,” Micah grumbled under his breath, but Tackett heard him and chose to ignore the complaint when Micah added, “I can behave, Sir.”
“We’ll see. What scares you the most?”
“Wow! Nothing like going right for the hard questions, Sir.”
“I like it hard.”
Micah rubbed his crotch again. “Don’t I know it, Sir.”
“Pup, just answer the damn question.”
“I’m not trying to be difficult, Sir. I’m just not sure how to answer. I mean, a lot of things scare me, Sir. I hate snakes, they freak me the fuck out and if one comes near me, then the snake is the thing I fear most at that moment. My parents dying. I’m afraid of complete sensory deprivation. The thought of not being able to scream or safewordthat scares me. Being alone.”
Tackett took in what Micah was saying, analyzing each word carefully. Micah’s fears were telling. The snakes he understood, not that Tackett shared the phobia, but knew it was a pretty common one. His parents dying was another average fear. It was Micah’s fear of sensory dep and being alone that taught him the most about the man. Tackett could work with the deprivation fear. Tackett instantly started putting a plan together to start putting the boy in bondage, adding earplugs, blindfolds, and gags slowly. Push Micah’s boundaries until he trusted Tackett enough. Micah’s fear of being alone went hand in hand with his fear of sensory dep. Being a sensualist, Micah would need touch, companionship, and stimulation.
Tackett nodded to himself. Withholding touch and forcing Micah to sleep alone would be effective punishments. That planted seed burst open, and Tackett knew beyond a shadow of a doubt he could help Micah focus and find peace in submission. It would take some time, undoubtedly longer than the two-week contract, but given the chance, Tackett also knew he could get Micah to trust him enough to overcome his deprivation fear. Tackett still had a little difficulty admitting whether he was willing to do it.
Tackett studied the boy against him. He doubted Micah had any idea how much he’d revealed about himself with his answers or how much trust he’d already given to Tackett. The least Tackett could do, if not yet ready to admit it to Micah, was be honest with himself.
Truth was, not only was he willing, he’d already started.
