Chapter Five

Matthew didn’t know what he’d done to deserve the two men that he was about to take to bed, metaphorically speaking, but he thanked his lucky stars that he had. Then his bubble burst.
Dammit
.

“We don’t have condoms,” Matthew said. “Or slick.”
We’re screwed. Or not, as this case will be
.
“We can still make each other feel good. Besides, it’ll be a compromise between sex and no sex,” Andrew said, offering up a solution. It seemed the darkness was making him bolder. Matthew liked it.
Marcel groaned. “Yeah? What do you suggest?”
“Blow jobs?”
Matthew groaned along with Marcel that time. He went to his knees. “For the brilliant idea, you first.”
Marcel’s knees hit the dirt beside his. “I’ll help.”
Andrew gave the cutest little breathless chuckle. “I’m going to get spoiled with all this attention.”
“Nothing wrong with that,” Matthew said, pulling his tight black running shorts down his thighs. They should probably be more vigilant, but he had set the com to notify if any new heat signatures entered their camp within fifty yards. It soothed his conscious somewhat to know that.
He looked over at Marcel, letting him take the lead. The man had waited a long time to have Andrew, and he was entitled to the first taste. Marcel didn’t hesitate this time. He leaned forward without preamble and sucked the head of Andrew’s cock into his mouth. Matthew’s dick jerked in want. He pitched forward and worked on the underside of the base of Andrew’s cock, working his way downward to the tight globes of his sac. Marcel bobbed his head, and Andrew groaned above him.
The run kid reached down and petted both of their heads, gasping his thanks as they pleasured him. Matthew enjoyed the salty taste of his soon-to-be lover’s skin. He took one ball in his mouth and then the other, suckling them gently in turn. Marcel grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him back before pushing his head down on the head of Andrew’s dick and taking up Matthew’s position. Matthew chuckled before concentrating on sucking him with all the fervor he could muster. Pre-cum decorated the flared tip, and he lapped it away.
“Mmm, you taste good,” Matthew complimented, dipping his head back down for another taste. He went down as far as he could on Andrew’s prick until he had to loosen his throat or choke on Andrew’s length. Marcel’s hand went down to knead Matthew’s crotch through his pants, and he groaned around Andrew. It had been so long since he had been touched. Since before his last mission at least.
“God you two are so hot,” Marcel said, panting as he continued to service Andrew with Matthew. Matthew returned the favor of his touch, rubbing the hard cock that was straining Marcel’s zipper with enthusiasm. He would’ve given his survival pack to be able to have some slick and liquid protection right about then. He wanted to be naked and fucked in the best ways.
They continued the sexual teasing for several minutes as Andrew bucked and writhed for them. Matthew put his hands on his thighs to steady himself as he lost himself in the act, and they trembled beneath his touch. Marcel and he shared a kiss between licks, and Andrew groaned.
He winked at Marcel. “Wanna put him outta his misery?”
“Oh yeah. Can’t want to taste him when he loses it,” Marcel said, his eyes sparkling with equal parts lust and amusement.
They went back to their work, suckling and licking while they concentrated on driving Andrew over the edge of the abyss. Andrew made the sexiest mewling noises in the back of his throat, begging them both without words for them to help him get to orgasm. They took turns deep throating his cock until Andrew was bucking against them and crying out with each downward plunge.
It took only a few more seconds for Andrew to gasp that he was coming. Matthew pulled back and let Marcel wrap his lips around his head so he wouldn’t miss a drop of Andrew’s essence as he shuddered through his orgasm. Matthew kneaded Andrew’s balls, ratcheting up his pleasure with careful tugs.
Finally he stopped shuddering, and Marcel backed off. Andrew’s knees hit the dirt between them a second later. He reached out and kneaded both their hard dicks through their pants. “Take it off,” Andrew murmured. “I want to touch you.”
Matthew wasted no time in pulling his body out into the warm night air, and neither did Marcel. Andrew’s warm hands wrapped around both of them, jerking them off in unison. Matthew let his head fall back, and he lost himself in the pleasure he was experiencing. His love life had been nonexistent for a while now, and it somehow made the entire process that much more intense. He felt like a teenager with his first lover all over again.
Marcel cried out, drawing his attention back to the other field agent. He lost it as their eyes met, and the sticky proof of his pleasure shot from the tip of his cock at the same time Marcel spilled his own seed to decorate Andrew’s other wrist. The run kid continued to stroke them until they pulled back from oversensitivity.
“That was intense,” Andrew murmured as Matthew rolled for his pack to get a wet nap to clean up with. He returned a second later and wiped Andrew’s hands clean. Andrew smiled in the dim light. “You two are amazing.”
“Likewise,” Matthew murmured, oddly touched by the statement. He didn’t usually get the urge to cuddle after someone got him off, but he was certainly feeling the urge now. “I’m definitely ready for bedtime now.”
Marcel didn’t say anything. He seemed lost in thought as he moved around their camp, making things ready for bed. Andrew came over and leaned against Matthew. Matthew put his arm around him. “Don’t worry, baby,” he whispered as Andrew stared at Marcel. “He’s just processing. He enjoyed himself but didn’t anticipate enjoying it so much. He’ll calm down in a minute.”
“I don’t want him to be hurt,” Andrew murmured, cuddling close. “I had no idea he felt that way about me.”
Matthew chuckled. “That’s why I had to show both of you. You both have loved one another for longer than anyone should without saying a word. I’m glad you let me bring you guys together.”
“So when we get back to civilization we’re going to try dating?” Andrew asked. He sounded hesitant as if he wasn’t sure if Matthew had been serious about his offer.
“If you’re both okay with it,” Matthew said. “I know I’m Johnnycome-lately to this party, so I won’t force myself on you two if that isn’t what you both want.”
Andrew raised his head until their lips were separated by only an inch or two. “I want to explore this. It feels right.” Matthew agreed, but he didn’t say it out loud. It was very strange how the three of them just sort of clicked. Only time would tell if they clicked in other ways as well.
Marcel returned and sat beside them. “I checked on the perimeter and repacked our bags in case we need to run at any time during the night.” He flinched as Andrew reached out to him, and Matthew frowned.
Matthew reached over and cuffed his head. “Hey, enough. What’s with the cold shoulder routine?”
“We’ve got to keep our heads screwed on straight. I can’t be getting all moon eyed when we need to—” His words were abruptly cut off when Andrew all but crawled in his lap and kissed him. Matthew chuckled.
Attaboy
. The kiss deepened, and despite the fact he’d just came, his body stirred at the sight.
Andrew pulled back. “Stop thinking so hard, Marcel. We had a wonderful moment in hell. Stop questioning it so much. Take a second and enjoy it. Tomorrow we have to hike out of here.”
Marcel relaxed by slow degrees and sighed. “Fine. It’s just so…weird. I don’t know how to deal.”
“Don’t try to logic if this is okay or not,” Matthew said. “We’re just three guys getting to know one another and having some fun along the way. If things get serious, we’ll cross the bridge when we get there.”
Look at me reassuring them like I know what the fuck I’m doing
. He really wished he was as confident about the whole thing as he sounded. In fact, he wished his uncles were here to give him some advice.
After a tense second, Marcel nodded. “All right. Fine. We’ll just play this by ear.”
Andrew beamed. “So where do you live, Matthew? I know you live in sector thirteen but whereabouts?”
Matthew nodded. He liked easy questions. “I have an apartment that lets me pay a few months in advance. With my job, I have to have military-friendly housing. I live on the borderlands at the Bunker Ridge apartments.”
“The borderlands are a rough neighborhood,” Marcel cut in.
Matthew shrugged. “I don’t have anything worth stealing, and I’m gone ninety percent of the time. My landlord is an old UMF guy. It’s a relatively safe apartment complex even if it’s not a safe neighborhood.”
“The borderlands are a good escape point, though,” Andrew said. “The flatlands outside the city are the easiest escape routes. I considered there until I realized that the next sector makes a U around ours. The safe zone is relatively narrow there. It would be easy enough for a mob to cross that area. If the infected came, it would be a terrible neighborhood to live in.”
Matthew considered him. What sort of run kid made those sorts of assessments when picking a place to live? None that he knew of. Civilians just didn’t think that way. “What happened to you?” he asked before he could filter himself.
Andrew’s green eyes widened. “Um…” He broke eye contact and stared off into the darkness. “Nothing really. It’s just something to think about in our world.”
Marcel bumped their shoulders, shooting him a glare. “Bit heavy for a first date, man.”
“Sorry, Andrew. I didn’t mean to pry. It’s just usually civilians don’t think about that sort of thing when they pick out their houses.”
“It’s all right,” Andrew said. “I don’t live in a house, too hard to defend with a three-sixty attack range. I live in a condo in Estate Mills in sector ten. It’s a thirty-minute plane ride to sector thirteen.”
Matthew nodded. It was only a couple hours’ drive away from sector thirteen where he lived. He could easily make it a day trip. “Nice hood. I’ve heard of Estate Mills. A lot of celebrities and athletes live there. ”
Andrew shrugged. “I wouldn’t know about all that. I know that it’s not quite as secure as sector thirteen, but the pricey area does afford some additional security. Plus with the base on the outskirts, I don’t worry as much. What I really liked was the training facilities, though. They have some of the best indoor tracks in the world.”
“He’s being modest,” Marcel cut in. “One of those tracks is in his own building and runs around an Olympic-size swimming pool on the roof and in a spiral down several floors. It’s really impressive.”
Andrew snorted. “It’s not like I designed the building. I just live there. Though—” He abruptly cut himself off.
Matthew tilted his head to the side. “Though what? What were you going to say?”
He could practically hear the embarrassment in his voice as he spoke. “My garden. I’ve redone it recently. It’s beautiful. I haven’t shown anyone yet.” He raised his head. “I’d like for someone to see it.”
“Is that an invitation?” Matthew asked, his voice a purr.
“If you like,” Andrew said, running a hand through his hair. “I mean, I’d like both of you to see it.”
Marcel didn’t say anything for a while. “I’ve always wanted to see your place.”
“Really?” Andrew asked.
Marcel shifted. “Yeah. It’s just weird that one shared blow job gets the invite I wanted. Is it just that he’s here?”
“No. I don’t know. I mean, doesn’t it just feel right to you? If anything he is a catalyst,” Andrew stammered.
“That’s a great way to put it,” Matthew said. “Besides, dating implies visits to one another’s homes.”
Marcel finally nodded. “This is going to take some getting used to.”
Matthew reached over and gave his hand a squeeze. “We’ll get used to it together.” They needed to knock some of the tension off, though. There was enough heavy stuff going on around them that they didn’t need to add any more weighty topics. “So let’s play twenty questions, field edition.”
“Oh fun,” Andrew said. “I haven’t played that since I was a kid at the orphanage.”
“But there are different rules to this version,” Matthew continued. “First rule, if you’re asked a question, you have to answer it in detail. You can only pass on two questions. Second rule, you can’t ask anything too heavy or deep. Last rule, for every three questions answered, you can ask for a favor from one of us.”
“Like a sexual favor?” Marcel asked, sounding amused at the thought.
Matthew shrugged. “If you want. I’m not closing any doors here.”
Andrew laughed. “Of course you’re not. All right. I’m game.”
“Me, too,” Marcel agreed.
“Okay. I’ll start. Marcel, what was your favorite ice cream growing up?”
“That’s easy. Chocolate with sprinkles. My cousin used to take me every day after primary school on the way home. Our school was only a block away.” He smiled fondly, and Matthew felt the earlier mood of camaraderie coming back.
Good
. They needed to relax a bit.
“Now it’s your turn,” Matthew said.
“Hmmm, all right. Andrew, who was your first kiss?”
Andrew gave a self-deprecating laugh. “Oh my God. Why couldn’t you give me an easy one? I was eight, and it was this girl that I went to school with named Kendall. She cornered me during reading time and made me give her a kiss. I was horrified, and all my friends made fun of me for the rest of the day.”
Matthew cracked up. He couldn’t help it. The image was hilarious. “That was not a good first kiss story. How about a first boyfriend kinda thing?”
“Hey now, it’s not your turn,” Marcel interrupted, laughter in his voice. “Let Andrew ask his question.”
“I’ll answer it, but that’s two for me. My first boyfriend’s name was Bruce, and we kissed after a track meet at the stadium after I ran relay with a couple other teammates.” Andrew sighed. “It was awkward and wonderful. I’m gonna have to steal your question,” Andrew said, grinning. “Matthew, same question.”
“I’m going to have to pass on that one,” Matthew said, stretching out his legs. He didn’t want to admit he didn’t remember his first kiss or even his first fuck. It had been during his first mission when he was seventeen years old, and the man he’d been with hadn’t made it back. He found himself blinking back tears. Wow, that was a memory he’d tucked away for a while. It was more an impression than a real memory now, really. He couldn’t remember the kiss or what Jude—
yeah, that was what his name was
—had even looked like. He’d just come home and known what had happened, but nothing was clear. He shook his head to rid himself of the image, grateful that it was dark and they couldn’t see him.
“Aw,” Andrew said, clearly pouting. “Oh well. I’ll pry it out of you later. Is it your turn now?”
“Yeah,” Matthew said, clearing his throat. “What’s your biggest fear, Andrew?”
The run kid was silent for a solid thirty seconds before he spoke. “Crowds,” he said finally. “I hate crowds. I always feel like I’m being crushed.”
