“If it means keeping you by my side then yes.”

“And so you understand what I’m saying completely,” I closed a hand around his already hardening shaft. He groaned when I squeezed harder than what was considered sexual. “If I ever find out you’re sticking this into someone else, I will not hesitate to cut it off.” Before he could form a response, I took him into me to the hilt and rode him until nothing but our moans filled the last of the night surrounding us.

I woke up with the sun on my face and Luka’s head between my legs. For the briefest second, I wondered if everything that happened last night was one of my dreams. Then his tongue ring grazed my clit. I balled the sheets in my fists and arched my back off the bed. Damn. So that was what that particular piercing was for. Each lick sent vibrations up and down my body. My legs grew weak and my arms turned to jelly. He placed his hands on the inside of my thighs and parted them further. I opened for him, more for my pleasure. But from the sounds he made, it was as if we were back at the pub. He devoured every inch of me like a man starving.

At my moan when he inserted a finger into me, he looked up. The desire in his blue eyes reached into the deepest part of my heart and refused to let go. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I let go of the sheets and tangled my fingers into his hair. He inserted a second finger the moment my palm touched his cheek. My eye shut. No matter how good his tongue and fingers made me feel, I wanted more.

“Luka,” I begged.

He gave my sex a long, languid lick before he said, “What do you want?”

Was he kidding? “You.”

“What about me?” he teased, running that metal stud in his mouth against the most sensitive part of my body. His fingers pushed in and out of me, coaxing gasped whimpers from my throat. Not enough. I needed more. Not after I’d tasted the real thing last night.

“I. Want. You.” I panted each word.

“What part of me?”

The grin after the question was what got to me. He wanted to play dirty, huh? Well, I could oblige. I bent my leg and placed my foot against his shoulder. Once I got a firm grip of the sheets again, I levered up and pushed him off me. A small sacrifice for the greater good. I stared into his eyes, not ashamed of my nakedness in the morning light. The sun cast golden rays over his pale skin. My tongue clung to the roof of my mouth, pleading with me to taste him too. But I didn’t have all day. Right now, there was only one thing I wanted…no,
needed
from him.

In a commanding tone, I said, “Luka Visraya, I want you to come over here and fuck my brains out.”

His lips, glistening from contact with my sex, curved up. He nudged my foot off his shoulder. “I thought I already did that.”

“Well, if you don’t do it again, I’m kicking you out of this room.”

“I’d like to see you try.” To emphasize his challenge, he lunged forward and buried himself inside me. I screamed. Yep, nothing beat the real thing. As we rocked against each other, it scared me to think this man, a god among men, had spoiled me for others. No one, and I mean
no one
, could ever come close to the way he made me feel. And it wasn’t just the sex either. That scared me even more.

In a perfect beginning to the day, we came together. Luka continued his thrusts while I dissolved beneath him, milking every last tremor that went through me. When we were both sated, he supported his weight on his forearms and kissed me slowly, thoroughly exploring every corner of my mouth. He did all this without pulling out of me, which doubled my ecstasy. I ran my hands over the expanse of his back, loving this position the best because I got to trace every cut of muscle running along his magnificent body.

To torture me, he ended the kiss and scrambled out of bed. How he managed it when I was sure he was hard in me again escaped logic. Pissed for wanting him while he pulled his jeans on, I rose to my elbows. Was there such a thing as too much sex?

“Leaving me already?” I bent my knee to the side knowing the move exposed my still wet pussy for his viewing pleasure. He paused in his dressing to give me a once over. The seriousness of his expression told me he considered jumping back into bed. I toyed with touching myself in the hopes of tempting him, but he had a morning meeting and I had my hypnotherapy session with Samrah. Oh the world and our responsibilities in it. Damn them all. So I kept my hands away from more private, already pulsing parts.

Even aroused, he’d managed to zip his pants. “Tell me to stay and I will.”

“Don’t put this one on me.” I grinned. “For all I know, Yana is on her way here so she can drag you up to your band meeting.”

He placed his hands on his narrow hips. The cuts of muscle on his torso tightened when he breathed. I purred at the sight, running the tip of my tongue over my bottom lip. He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. He wanted to stay. I could see it in the rigidity of his stance. But with a will of steel I admired, Luka opened his eyes and picked up his sweater off the back of a chair.

“Aren’t you going to shower first?” I asked as he pulled it on.

“No.” He climbed onto the bed and crawled toward me, placing a kiss on the valley between my breasts then inhaling. My own breathing grew ragged with desire. He met my gaze. “I want the smell of you on me all day.”

If I hadn’t just come, I would have right then. I fisted my fingers into his hair and yanked him to me. We kissed like we starved for each other, more a meeting of our tongues than anything else. Primal and ravenous. I couldn’t get enough of him and he knew it. And from the erection he pressed against my thigh, he felt the same way.

His phone buzzed on the nightstand. He ducked his head and growled. “I have to go.”

I let go of his hair to cup his cheek. The bristle there tickled my palm. “Go before I decide to forget everything else I have to do today and have my way with you.”

That got me the sexiest grin yet. “You’re making it so hard.”

The annoying phone buzzed again. A message. Soon Yana would call. I felt it in my gut. So, taking the mature route, I pushed at Luka. He growled again, reaching for the nightstand. But instead of the phone, he picked up my patch. He kissed my scar before covering it with the velvet dome. I gasped. How could the act of him fastening my patch turn me on?

Yup, I was broken.

Utterly broken.

A silly smile stretched my swollen lips as I shuffled toward Samrah’s suite. Down the hall, Luka was sitting at a table with the rest of the band. Could they smell me on him? I hooked a finger on the collar of my sweater, tugged it away from my chest, then dipped my nose into the opening. Inhaling like a coke addict, I took in Luka’s scent. I hadn’t showered either after he’d left me naked and fully sated in bed.

Every step I took jostled my sore muscles. Sore in all the good places. Bassists had stamina. Got to hand it to Luka. The guy knew how to fuck a girl’s brains out. Correction. Make love. My eyebrow twitched. Considering the things we’d done? Make love seemed like too chaste a term. If there was an Olympics for sex, Luka and I won the gold in several events: most positions tried in a single night, multiple orgasms during a single session, and my personal favorite, the longest someone could go without coming. No wonder people worshipped rock stars. I certainly worshipped at the altar of one last night and this morning, and had plans to worship him again tonight.

Ugh! I had sex in the brain and I was about to go get hypnotized by a shrink. This was going to be interesting. I reached Samrah’s suite door and knocked.

“Come in,” she said from the other side.

I twisted the knob and pushed in. Samrah stood at the far corner of the room opposite the couch, positioning a digital camera on a tripod. A knot on her brow formed; quickly followed by a particularly foul cuss word I would not repeat here.

“Want help with that?” I offered without moving away from the door.

“I can do…stupid tripod.” She cussed again. I admired her creativity with foul language. Sailors couldn’t have done better.

I crossed my arms and waited, enjoying her struggle with the equipment in her crisp white suit dress and nude sky-high pumps. How women could walk on those things without breaking their ankles baffled me. I wondered what Silvia was doing right that second. Probably obsessing over her final requirements. Samrah tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and glared at me.

“Well?”

My eyebrow shot up. “Well what?”

“Aren’t you going to help me?”

Laughing, I crossed to where she stood and reached for the camera. She dumped it into my hand, flicked her hair over her shoulder, and walked off, muttering nasty things about equipment the entire time.

“Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?” I asked, plopping the camera onto the tripod and screwing it in.

“It’s one of those mornings.” She picked up her coffee cup and sipped; a scowl firmly in place on her beautiful face. Her eyes were particularly hawkish today.

I turned on the camera and pointed it toward the couch, adjusting the settings as I went. “You sure you want to do this right now? I can come back.” It would actually give me time to prepare for the shoot I had planned for the band this afternoon.

Samrah set her cup down and poured one for me, sighing the entire time. “Don’t mind me. We all have our issues. Yours needs to get dealt with.”

“Gee,” I snorted, “thanks.”

Remorse flooded her cheeks with red. “I didn’t mean it that way.”

I waved her guilt away and took her offered cup. “If I just didn’t come from the best sex of my life, I would have been insulted.” I winked and she studied me. It was her turn to cross her arms over those massive breasts of hers.

“So he finally told you he loves you.”

I sputtered into my coffee. “What the hell?” I paused, tilting my head. “Then again, I shouldn’t be surprised that he ran it by you first.”

She shrugged. “To be honest, I didn’t expect him to tell you so soon. When he told me he loved you, I was skeptical because of his entanglement with Phoenix. There are still some feelings there.” She held up a hand to keep me from responding. I shut my mouth, grinding my teeth. I shouldn’t be jealous, but hell if I could stop myself. “Not the kind of feelings he has for you,” she amended. “He just needs to work out his issues with her, that is all. It has nothing to do with you.”

Both my eyebrows shot up. “You’re really making it hard not to get insulted, Doc. You’re harshing my sex haze.”

“I’m sorry.” She rubbed away the crease on her forehead. “How do you feel about his confession?”

Answering the question should have been difficult, but it surprised me how freeing admitting my feelings for Luka to someone else was. Somehow it made the emotions more real. So, I nodded. “I love him. I knew ever since I came back from Lunar Manor. Everything for me just clicked into place last night.”

“And the dreams?”

That gave me pause. Right, the dreams. “I had another one, particularly nasty too. I’m just thankful Luka was there with me or I don’t know what I would have done.”

“Then the more we need to get to the bottom of this.” She pointed at the couch.

I hit record on the camera then stretched out on the cushions. A low hiss escaped my lips then a grin. Yes, the good kind of sore. I missed him already. My body definitely did. But, if I wanted this to last between us, Samrah was right. I need to confront my dreams just as much as Luka was confronting his issues with Phoenix.

Samrah settled into a huge reading chair, crossing her long legs. From the corner of my eye I spied the red sole of her shoe. Silvia mentioned once how much she craved a pair with those distinctive soles.

“Alright,” she said, drawing my attention back to what we were about to do. Sweat rose on my palms. I wiped them down the front of my jeans. “Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. When you’re daydreaming or really engrossed in a book, that is your mind in a state of hypnosis. The only difference today is that we will be using it to find the root of your dreams.”

She made sense. At least her words did. The calm cadence of her voice kept my breathing even and my heartbeat from racing. She did it on purpose because her tone never changed. I settled deeper into the cushions.

“Think of me as merely a guide,” she continued. “You are in complete control the entire time. You will always be aware of my voice. Are you ready to begin?”

Even while asking the question, her tone remained even.

“Yes,” I said with a slight nod.

“Close your eye and place your hands flat at your sides then take a deep breath.” I followed her instructions, executing each one as they reached my ears. “As you exhale, begin to release and let go. Each breath in allows you to feel more comfortable, more relaxed. And each exhale allows you to drift a little deeper into yourself. The deeper you relax the better you feel. Take another full, deep breath and as you exhale, relax the muscles on your neck down to your shoulders then your chest and abdomen. Let the tension melt away from your thighs all the way to your calves until you reach the pads of your feet.”

Soon, my body no longer felt the couch cushions beneath me. My fingers lay slack and my legs were heavy. The sound of my breath going in and out of my body along with Samrah’s breathy tone calms me further.

“You are drifting, floating deeper and deeper. The deeper you relax the better you feel.”

Her voice is farther away now. Like I was in a tunnel, walking in the darkness without fear of bumping into anything. I continued to breathe as Samrah repeated that I was in complete control of the situation. Then she told me to reach for my dreams. And like a snapping bungee cord, I was jerked into the unknown.

Samrah’s voice, shakier than when we’d started, pulled me from the dark tunnel. Like a reverse bungee cord effect. I had no concept of time as I returned to the surface of my consciousness. We might have been at this for minutes or it might have been hours.
