“I love you too, Davien.” I replied between our lips.

I sat straddling him as he pulled the bottom hem of my shirt high enough until I pulled it over my head. His hands instantly reached for my breasts. He unlatched the front clasp to my bra until my full breasts  were fully exposed. He pulled me low enough against him until his tongue teased me as always. Starting from my jaw line to my ear, my neck and continued the path until I melt into his passion. He was amazing.

“Remember the first night you asked me 'if I had one night to be single would I have sex with you'?” I asked him as he continued teasing me.

Still causing me to moisten with his touch, he placed kisses to my neck between each word. “Yes of course I do.” He moaned into my neck and held his arms wrapped tightly around me.

“I lied that night.”

He dropped his seductive lips from my body instantly and pulled his eyes to meet mine until he focused on my thoughts. “You lied?” His face was blank, the most serious I had ever seen him yet. “You never wanted to have sex with me, did you? Was I just comfort from Anthony? I was rebound from your hurt?”

I shook my head and ran my fingers through his hair until our foreheads met. “Davien, I never wanted to be single and have one night with you. I had no desire for it.” I started grinding my hips against his until our bodies worked against each others rhythm. I lift myself until I was just above Davien's erection and then settled until I was full of my love. Moving my hips repeatedly up and down. “I never wanted to be single and spend one night with you. I wanted you to be mine, not just for one night, but forever. Every night.”

He wrapped his arms around my body, pulling me closer when he started singing.  'The Other Side' by Jason Derulo. I loved the way that the lyrics reminded me of our relationship that we started out as friends and what we have grown into. I loved the song, I loved his voice, I loved him!

As he carried our private song, the same way he did many other times, he made love to me. Many times his words were almost silent as he held my body so tightly that his mouth rest tightly between my neck and my ear. I could still hear the vibrations of his words through his body. I never imagined a song being so erotic when making love. But Davien could turn anything sensual. The way he slid against my sensitive nerves as he gripped my hips and moved with my body. I felt like we were one. Not my moves, not his moves... but ours together. It was perfect, it just seemed natural as if we were made for each other.

I never had this intimacy with Anthony. And as much as I hated to compare the two men, it was still in the back of my mind. Not because of similarities or not. But I realized what I was missing. I missed making love. It wasn't the physical feelings, it was emotional feelings between us. The physical pleasure was beyond anything I had ever imagined possible, but it wasn't what I needed. He made me feel special, he made me feel wanted. He was the most romantic man, inside the bedroom and outside the bedroom. He wasn't what I thought he was.

Stretching my arms wide across the bed, I woke to the sound of Davien's voice across the other side of our bedroom wall. I could wake to the sound every morning and never get tired of it. He was taking a shower and his voice rose just high enough to hear over the water. I couldn't make out the words to the song since I was in the next room, but his voice was still enough to make you melt.

Finding my pink slippers on the side of my bed, I finally stepped to the floor. My robe hung on the small hook on the back of the closet. I threw it on and quietly tip-toed to the bathroom. Opening the door, I nearly fell to my knees as I inhaled the smells of Davien. His voice still echoed through the room over the steam. I sat on the closed toilet to listen to him before he knew I was in there. The curtain was still in place and I felt like I was in my own private concert as he sang. He loved his showers, taking them at least once a day, sometimes more. Many of the time, he just stood under the falling water and soaked with the steam.

“Do you like that one?” The shower curtain pulled slightly to the side and I jumped from the toilet as I caught a peek at his face. “You didn't know that I heard you come in?” I could hear the laughter in his voice.

“You brat. You could have at least told me.”

“Why would I do that. I was singing to you.”

“I like the song, who sings it?”

“Me.” He replied shortly.

“Did you write the lyrics?” I questioned him. The lyrics were about an innocent girl that changed her life, to experience love. She found herself with a man who adored her and was willing to do anything for her.”

“I just told our story.” The water stopped and he pulled the curtain to the side until he stepped to the bathmat. Before grabbing a towel, I watched as the water drops fell from his perfect hair to his shoulder. My eyes traveled his entire body, taking a snap shot with my fanciful camera. I stopped at each beautiful scenery and took in the sight. His body was magnificent. From his perfectly well defined abs, up his tight chest, traveling up his toned forearms and biceps. Even his shoulders and neck were perfect. His facial features were sculpted like no other man's I had ever seen. His was very masculine, yet extremely gorgeous. His look had a mixture of a bad boy rock star and a worthy male model. His sky blue eyes matched his seductive smile, they spoke together. No words needed to be spoken to understand Davien's thoughts. “Keep staring and I won't be making it to work today, Avery.”

He startled me as he noticed me taking in the amazing view. “I'm not stopping you from staying home either.”

Wrapping his thick, blue towel around his waist, he bowed to kiss me. “I wish I could stay home with you and make love all day. I could and I would.” He smiled as he withdrew from my lips. Grabbing the matching towel, he started blotting his hair and face. “But Justin's dropping off his car for a few hours today. And if that doesn't get fixed, he won't be going to make you some money.” A small chuckle came from under the towel as he dried the last few drops from his face.

“Yeah, I need that money too.” I joked. “It's about time I started chipping in on some bills around here.”

Davien dropped his towel from his face and turned serious. “Avery, don't say that. You know that we don't expect you to help with bills. Scott and I have told you that repeatedly and all ask is for you to try to enroll in school next semester. Don't feel pressured.” He shook his head slightly and cupped my chin until our eyes met. “Don't feel guilty and I will never push you from the apartment. Ever!”

“I know. I just feel bad sometimes, well many times. I feel like I'm just living here rent free as you guys struggle to pay bills.”

“Scott and I both make very decent money with our jobs and we both enjoy the work we do.  So please, Avery, stop thinking that way.” He hung his towel on the rack and held his hand out to help me from my lovely toilet seat. “I do need a favor though.”

“What's that?” I asked cautiously.

“Justin's dropping off his car around 9 o'clock. Can you give him a ride back to his place? Then I'll call you when he needs a ride back to Martin's.”  He held his head to the side as he waited for my answer.

“Of course!” I laced my fingers around his neck and with a bare body, he pulled me off my feet.

I was pulling into the driveway to Justin and Vince's small white house that they rented together. They only lived a couple of blocks down the street, so we met up to leave together. Justin was sitting in the driveway as we were going to drive together in our own cars. With plenty of energy, Justin grabbed his keys and approached to my lowered window to the drivers seat of my Malibu. “Hey, Baby girl. Ready?”

“Yep. I'll see you there.” I watched as he walked to his real baby, his candy apple mustang. He treasured it and the only person he allowed to work on it was Davien. I laughed as he stepped in and turned the key to start a large pipe roar.  Reversing my car, I drove to Martin's. At the first stop light, Justin pulled next to me as we had just came to the red light.

He yelled over the noise of our cars. “Wanna race, Baby girl?” I shook my head and laughed, as he knew my car had no match to his. Before I could answer, the light turned green. He looked in every direction possible, then all I heard was his tires squealing across the intersection. He sped through the streets like a maniac until we hit the next red light about a half mile down the road. He sat with his face in full laughter as he waited for my car's arrival. “What took you so long?”

“Show off.” I joked back. “Damn, can we just drive to the shop.” And just as Justin would do, he sped off without replying.

I shook my head when I saw him pulling into Martin's lot. I noticed Davien immediately as my eyes caught him lying on the ground, propped on his side next to an expensive looking bike. He looked amazing with only a tight fit white A-shirt and faded jeans. His skin glimmered from a mixture of sun and sweat.  He stood, brushing the dirt from his jeans when he heard the noise roaring from the red mustang. With sweat running, he lift the bottom of his shirt and wiped his face. As he dropped his shirt, he ran his fingers through his natural messy, yet oh so sexy hair. The confident bastard knew he was hotter than crap and more than anything, he knew that everyone else agreed with his opinion.

“I'll be right back hon, let me wash up real quick.” I stood outside waiting for Davien to return. Justin was already inside filling out papers at the front desk.

I watched Martin walk from the front door. “Avery,” he spoke with his light accent. The Hispanic man was one of the friendliest guys I had ever met. He treated Davien so well. Even mentioned to me on a few occasions that he thought of Davien as his son since he never had any kids “how are you doing? Giving Justin a ride home?”

“Yeah, Davien asked me to help him out a little today. Been busy Martin?” I asked as I held my hand over my brows to keep the direct sun from hitting my eyes.

“Busy every day sweetie. But Davien keeps the place in line.” He wrapped his arm half way across my shoulder. Thankfully he was much cleaner that the mechanics as I tensed up to his comfort. “I don't know what I'd do without him.”

“Me either Martin.” We both chuckled as he knew what I meant. He was there when Davien took my car from Anthony's garage. He saw the man I had dealt with for the last year.  More than anything, he knew everything about the love of my life, Davien.

“My sister's been doing the book keeping here lately but it's been so much business, it's hard to keep up.” I remembered the position that Davien had mentioned here at Martin's, but after our conversation this morning I felt it would definitely not be the right job for me. He put no pressure on me to find a job at the moment and I think we needed our space also.

Davien stepped from the building. “Hey Martin, who's the hot chick?” Davien pointed at me as I smiled with a huge grin.

“Ah leave her alone, Davien, she's taken.” Martin joked back. “Heard her boyfriend can put up a mean fight too.”

“Yeah with a girlfriend that sexy, I would too Martin.” I dropped from Martin's hand as I approached Davien's opened arms. He placed a soft kiss on the top of my hair “I don't know, I might have to fight the fucker. She looks worth it.” He bent down to meet my lips, and Martin started sighing and shaking his head in amusement. “Hey, beautiful.”

“Hey yourself.” I bit my lip and stared into his sun beamed eyes. I felt like I never shared a bed with this man, never had sex with him, or even kissed him. I felt like he was a stranger that I had the biggest crush on. A man that I would do anything to spend one night alone with. I fell in love with him every time I looked at the man.

“I love your dress.” I looked down to my ruffled purple dress that he had picked out for me last weekend when we went shopping. It fell just below my knees and the weather today was a perfect temperature to show it off.  “Whoever picked that out must have some great taste.” He really did and even though he wore simple clothes, he made them look amazing. He even looked amazing with a wet towel wrapped around his waist.

“I have to say you're looking pretty hot your own self.” I giggled.
