Chapter
Two

Abby jumped in the shower after
Tyler’s visit, and as the warm water splashed over her slim body, she began to
relax under its comforting spell.

Her hands gently caressed her
shoulders as she massaged the sweetly perfumed shower-gel into her satin-smooth
skin. She gasped softly as her hands dropped to her pert breasts. Abby was
blessed with beautifully formed beasts, which were perfectly proportioned for her
size. Her rose-colored nipples were standing proudly to attention.

Her thoughts drifted to Tyler,
her new boss. This concept alone didn’t sit well with Abby, as he wasn’t much
older than she was.

There was no denying that he
was hot with his pale blue eyes and lopsided smile, and as for his body, well
what she’d glimpsed of it so far, ticked all the boxes for her. She resented
the fact that he was a city boy playing at being a cowboy though, and knew the
other farmhands wouldn’t take kindly to his city ways.

Abby’s hand slid down over her
flat tummy and onward gliding over her slender hips and across toward the
dampness between her legs.

She always kept the nest of red
curls here neatly trimmed, as it simply felt more hygienic that way. She’d
considered going without hair there at all but had always decided against the
idea, as it seemed somewhat weird to Abby. It felt right to at least have some
hair there and it wasn’t as though this area was on show much to anyone.

The sexual encounters she’d
experienced in the past had been rare, and there’d never been any tenderness
involved. For Abby, the guys had been an easy passage to an orgasm and that was
it, pure and simple, no emotional involvement.

To be honest, the
earth-shattering orgasm she’d been waiting for had never arrived. Perhaps,
she’d chosen the wrong type of guys. Their climax had always arrived before
hers, and many times, she’d found her own sexual release by herself when they’d
fallen asleep. With guys, it seemed to be all about their own pleasure, a few
thrusts of their hard erections, a few grunts of male satisfaction, and game
over!

Abby desired to be touched,
appreciated, and pleasured by a guy, but maybe this was way too much to expect.

Her hands made their way
between her smooth thighs now and found her hot, wet sheath. She moaned quietly
as a finger discovered just how tight her slippery softness was as it pushed
its way inside her. She opened her legs, and with her back resting against the
hard shower tiles, she plunged her finger deeper into the slick wetness of her
growing excitement.

Abby knew how to pleasure
herself, and as her finger went still further into her tightness, she moaned
and closed her green eyes, shocked at the fact that she was imagining Tyler’s
hardness inside her right now.

Her finger left her wetness and
Abby bit her bottom lip as she found her sensitive clitoris. The feeling was
exquisite as she rubbed herself faster with her legs apart. Her wet red hair
clung to her shoulders as she opened her eyes to see her shimmering breasts
bouncing together with her movements.

As she felt her orgasm
approaching, she reached across and steadied herself with a hand on the
shower’s door.

She tried not to cry out as the
waves of sheer ecstasy raced through her sexy body, as she experienced an
intense orgasm like no other she’d felt before. Was this because she’d been
picturing Tyler’s hard shaft plunging into her wetness?

Abby felt satisfied, and on
shaking legs, finished showering. She dried herself off and gently rubbed some
luxurious, soft body lotion onto her skin, and walked naked to her closet. She
chose a pair of denim blue shorts and a tight-fitting pale green t-shirt to
wear with sneakers.

Her long red hair was dried
quickly with a hairdryer and tied back in a high ponytail that swished from
side to side as she walked.

After a quick bite to eat, she
went out to tend to the horses. Abby chose to look after all of the horses even
though, technically, it was only Murphy who belonged to her. She loved all
horses anyhow so saw it as no bother.

There were the two housed with
Murphy and then another stable block nearer to the main house that housed
another four horses. Abby was just walking up the dusty track toward this
stable block when she spied Tyler talking to one of the other farmhands outside
the stables.

“Hey Abby!” Jake, one of the
farmhands, shouted as he spotted her approaching them. Abby raised her hand to
him and smiled, noticing Tyler turning around to acknowledge her too.

“Hello Abby,” he said in his
deep voice as he stared at her. Abby’s cheeks went as red as her hair as she
thought back to her orgasm in the shower.

“Mr. Moore,” she replied trying
to keep things formal between them.

“God call me Tyler. Mr. Moore
makes me sound ancient Abby,” he smiled at her and Jake scoffed.

“We were just chatting about
you,” Jake said.

“That sounds ominous!” she
answered as she joined them both. Abby felt incredibly small standing in front
of them, as Jake was around 6’2”. Tyler, she guessed, was about 6’1”, and with
her 5’4” petite stature, she felt dwarfed.

Jake was in good shape for a
guy in his early forties, as was Dwayne, the other farmhand.  They looked after
Abby but also knew she could stand her ground and was a very capable young
woman.

“I was asking Jake here about
how to move the cattle to a new pasture,” said Tyler.

“Pop them all in your jeep and
move them that way!” she replied sarcastically.

“Abby, show some respect girl!”
Jake snapped at her.

“No, it’s fine Jake. I expect
nothing less. I’m a city boy after all.”

Abby felt bad and muttered,
“We’d move them by using the horses and dogs, like a cattle drive.”

“You’ve dogs here too?”

“Yep, they’ll be down at Jake’s
place with Dwayne now enjoying a nap no doubt,” Abby answered wondering how
Tyler was with dogs.

“They’re hardworking dogs.
That’s for sure, and they live with us just outside of the ranch so we bring
them in on a daily basis. You’ll meet them tomorrow,” Jake said.

“That’ll be worth seeing,” Abby
mumbled to herself under her breath, but obviously not quietly enough.

“What’s that Abby? Did you say
something?” asked Tyler.

“I just said that’ll be worth
seeing as the dogs are a handful, especially KC the Australian Cattle Dog. Good
luck with her!” Abby giggled and Jake joined in with her high spirits.

“I think I can manage a couple
of dogs,” she heard Tyler say.

“Try five at the same time!”
laughed Abby enjoying the feeling of having the upper hand over him.

“So, anyway, changing the topic
from dogs to horses, Jake here tells me you’re the girl to talk to about a
cattle drive as you call it.”

Abby smiled at Jake as he
winked at her, “Yep, that’ll be me, but I must warn you, I like to be in
control on a drive.”

“You do surprise me!” Tyler
replied with a saucy smile playing on his soft lips.

Jake burst out laughing at his
comment and Abby couldn’t help herself as she joined in with the laughter. So,
the mysterious Tyler had a sense of humor then. Good to know, she thought to
herself as she caught him glancing at her as they all laughed together.

“All joking aside, Tyler. Driving
the cattle’s hard work and will take all day, so we’ll need an early start,”
Jake said.

“Can you even ride?” Abby asked
as she noticed his blue eyes checking out her shorts and tanned legs.

“Surprising as this may sound,
yes, I can.”

“Good then. We’ll see you here
around 5am. We’ll bring the dogs and horses. You just bring yourself,” Abby
answered as she went to walk away and continued towards the stables.

“Looking forward to it,” she
heard Tyler shout from behind her and as she raised a hand to acknowledge his
comment, she smiled to herself. For the first time, her excitement about the
forthcoming cattle drive wasn’t just because of the thrill of the drive but
because of the company.

Abby tended to the other horses
and as she went to leave the stables. She glanced up at the main house to see
Tyler standing at one of the top windows in full view. He didn’t attempt to
move back into the shadows but instead waved to her.

She returned his wave and then
proceeded to walk back to her bungalow. He certainly was a strange guy. He’d
obviously come from money and she assumed he’d quite a lot of money to his
name. He’d inherited the Lone-Oak Ranch so that hadn’t cost him anything, but
she knew it did cost money to keep a ranch afloat, and of course knowledge.

Tyler certainly fell short on
the second requirement.

Chapter
Three

Abby awoke to the sun streaming
in her bedroom window and the sound of dogs barking excitedly.

She glanced at her alarm clock,
which was set to go off at 4am and saw the time was 3.50am. Life on the ranch
began early, and especially so when there was a cattle drive taking place. The
dogs were ready to go by the sounds of them, and Abby knew that Dwayne and Jake
would’ve informed their canine mates about the drive.

The dogs always sensed it
anyhow, especially Roxy, who was a Border Collie and probably the most
intelligent of the five dogs. Abby’s favorite was little Skip a Parson Russell
terrier with a nose for anything you wanted him to track and anything you
didn’t want him to track!

She wondered how Tyler would
cope with the early start imagining that he probably wasn’t used to being up
this early in the city.

Abby presumed to know a lot
about him when in reality she knew very little.

“Ease up on him girl,” she
mumbled as she crawled out of her bed and went to get washed. She’d already
picked out her wardrobe for the day ahead, and once she was washed, she began
getting dressed. First, she stepped elegantly into a pair of red and black silk
panties. She pulled them up her silky-smooth legs and over her slim hips
enjoying the way the soft silk embraced her skin.

Next was her push-up red bra,
the underwire part was uncomfortable after a few hours but Abby was determined
to enhance her breasts today. She smiled as she fastened the back of the bra,
thinking how foolish it was to be considering how her cleavage looked on a
cattle drive.

She didn’t normally bother with
such trivial matters but today was different as Tyler would be there.

At first, she’d been dead
against him and all he stood for, and she was still unsure, but after his small
display of humor yesterday by the stables, she’d viewed him in a new light, a
human light.

Abby pulled a pair of blue
socks over her petite feet and then wriggled into her dark blue jeans, boot cut
but tight and sexy around her ass and hips. She’d chosen a tight-fitting white
t-shirt knowing full well if the summer’s breeze lightly kissed her chest, her
nipples would be erect in seconds.

She was playing a cat and mouse
game with Tyler and wondered if he’d be a willing participant in her little
game or not.

Abby knew she was sexy and knew
how to work her body to her best advantage when it came to guys. Just because
she’d not had many sexual encounters, it didn’t mean she wasn’t aware of her
own body.

She couldn’t stop thinking
about Tyler’s body and pale blue eyes, and wondered how many girls he’d been
with throughout his life. He probably had no problem winning girls over with
his saucy smile, chiseled looks, and sexy eyes.

Abby plaited her long red hair
into pigtails for the drive as it was a cooler style, and it made her look even
younger than her 21-years. With a touch of mascara adorning her naturally long
lashes and some lip salve on her soft swollen lips, she was ready to go.

Pulling on her red boots and
popping her hat on her head, she left the bungalow. Abby wasn’t really a
breakfast eating kind of girl. She’d already had two mugs of coffee and these
would see her through for now. She knew Dwayne would prepare lunch on the go
for them anyhow, as he always did.

She walked out to the stable
and prepared Murphy and the other two horses, which Jake and Dwayne would ride
today. Tyler would have to take one from the main stable; she’d recommend
Firefly to him since, although occasionally willful, he was a good horse, a
fast ride, and a worker. All the horses enjoyed the opportunity to stretch
their legs on a cattle drive as it gave them the chance to gallop.

Abby placed her boot clad right
foot in the stirrup and bounced a few times before swinging her left leg over
the back of her trusted horse. She grabbed the other reins and led the two
horses behind her and Murphy up to the main house.

As they approached, she ensured
she was sitting upright in the saddle with her shoulders and back straight,
ensuring her pert breasts were pushed out. She glanced down to see her hard
nipples protruding nicely through the flimsy material of her bra and white
t-shirt. Perfect, just the look she was hoping to achieve.

She dismounted as she spied
Tyler leaving the house and gasped to herself as he walked toward her. His
black jeans were hugging his long lean legs, and his red and black checkered
shirt was unbuttoned enough to show just a glimpse of dark chest hair. Abby’s
pulse began racing, and when he smiled at her, she thought she was going to
faint.

“Morning Abby,” he said softly.

“All you need is a cowboy hat
and some proper boots and you’ll be sorted!” she smiled at him as he turned
around to see five barking dogs running toward him and Abby.

“Wow, what a sight,” he
laughed, and to Abby’s total surprise, he dropped to his knees in all the dirt
and greeted the dogs. He was ignored by KC, who’d more important things on her
mind than saying hello to some strange guy kneeling in the dirt.

The other four licked his face
and wagged their tails.

“Skip, come on boy!” she called
dropping the reins and holding out her arms to the little dog, she heard Tyler
laughing as Skip completely left the floor and landed perfectly in her arms.

“Right, are we done with the
greetings now you lot?” Dwayne laughed as he nodded toward Abby and then at
Tyler.

Everyone was dressed in jeans
but nobody wore them as well as Tyler in Abby’s eyes anyhow. Both Jake and
Dwayne had put leather chaps over their jeans, but Abby didn’t like wearing
them as they made her too hot.

“Is Tyler’s ride ready yet
Abby? We were thinking about Firefly,” Jake said as he smiled toward the still
kneeling Tyler.

“Yep, my thoughts exactly,”
answered Abby, and no, he’s not ready yet. I only got here just before you
guys.

“Want me to help Abby? I could
do with finding my way around the stable,” Tyler asked but she cut him off
short.

“No, I can do it. I don’t need
your help,” she snapped at him making both Jake and Dwayne look at one another.

She passed the other horses’
reins to Jake and stormed off into the stable, not really knowing why she’d
taken such a defensive tone with Tyler.

“Up go those fucking walls
again fella,” she muttered as she stroked Firefly’s warm black neck and he
whinnied and threw his neck up in the air.

She saddled Firefly and
prepared him to be ridden. He was a magnificent horse and his color matched
Tyler’s hair perfectly. Abby ensured the other three horses were let out to
graze while they were away and walked Firefly over to Tyler who whistled as
they approached.

“Is that for Abby or Firefly?”
Jake laughed as he winked at Abby.

“Oh you crack me up you
asshole!” she said, playfully punching his arm as she went by with Firefly.
Abby was in her element surrounded by horses, dogs, and cowboys, well two
cowboys and one pretend one!

“Wow! He’s a cracker truly
stunning,” Tyler said as he tactfully ignored Jake’s comment regarding his
whistle.

He took the reins from Abby and
gracefully mounted Firefly like an expert. They were made for one another, the
perfect couple.

“Yep, he can ride!” Dwayne
smiled.

They all mounted their horses,
and with the dogs running on ahead, they made their way to collect the cattle
herd. Abby arrived first and began riding Murphy around the outskirt of them
rounding up the wandering few as they went.

The others soon joined them and
Tyler smiled at her, “You can certainly ride. That’s impressive. I take it you
can also lasso?” he was staring down at the rope tied on the side of her saddle
as he spoke.

She began laughing as she
shouted across to Jake and Dwayne, “Tyler wants to know if I can lasso!”

“No, you tenderfoot, she can’t
but she’s awesome at roping,” Jake smiled.

“So I take it lasso’s not the
right term then?” asked Tyler looking genuinely interested in learning about
the life of a cowboy.

“Put it this way. If you used
the word lasso at a rodeo, you’d be laughed out of the place,” Dwayne replied.

“Always use the word rope Tyler
and you’ll do just fine, and by the way, tenderfoot’s a compliment as it means
you’re a new cowboy,” Abby said quietly as Murphy stood beside Firefly and Abby
smiled as they shared a nuzzle. Tyler wasn’t being seen as just a city boy
anymore but as a new cowboy.

Tyler smiled across at her and
her heart fluttered. His blue eyes were twinkling. She noticed his muscular
forearms as he held the reins and his strong hands.

“So, what did you do in
Torrington then?” was the question too personal she wondered but she needn’t
have concerned herself as he replied straight away.

“You’ll laugh when I tell you,”
he answered, as their horses started to walk forward slowly behind the cattle.

“Go on spill!”

“I worked tables in a café.
See? It’s dumb, isn’t it?”

“No, not at all. It’s an honest
living. Can I ask you something?” she hesitated slightly as she asked the
question.

“Sure, shoot!”

“Have you got money? I only ask
as the Lone-Oak needs a lot of repair work doing around the fences and on the
land in general. She’ll cost quite a bit to get her all up and running to
perfection,” she said, trying to justify her reason for asking such a private
question.

He smiled at her, and as she
waited for his reply, she caught his blue eyes drifting down over her tight
t-shirt and stopping on her achingly swollen breasts. Abby knew her stiff
nipples were protruding through her bra and t-shirt, and ensured she was
sitting as upright as possible in her saddle.

She saw Tyler biting his bottom
lip, swallowing hard, and composing himself before he answered her.
