Chapter Three

The mountain air filled my lungs as I made my way up and down the hilly terrain of the Guatemalan mountain region.

I had sneaked out in order to get a much needed workout in. I thought about my plight as I ran.

My best friend and I
were cage fighters and though we were ‘good’ we weren’t the ‘best.’

In our line of work only the top fighters end up having a good career.

We had opted for going overseas by chance. On a whim we had taken a fight overseas when approached by a trainer
who didn’t want his fighter going.

We had come up with the idea to act like we didn’t know each other and as the fight ensued
one of us would throw it; thus causing an upset and affecting the bets which had been placed.

We had been doing great until we crossed Ricardo and he caught on to what we were doing.

His idea of re
tribution had been forced marriage.

I had been forced to marry him and my best friend Roxanne had been shipped to his little brother Antonio in NY.

     “Rubia, Rubia, ven por aqui.”

I heard the common nickname that was used for me due to my blonde hair; in short, it translated: “Blondie.” The people in this part of the world would yell it out to me when they wanted my attention but didn’t know my name.

My husband used it as a term of endearment.

I made my way over to Jaun Pablito, a small boy of only nine, or ten, and fell onto the soft grassy terrain.

I grabbed my
water bottle taking a drink as I eyed him. Evidently this was where the kids played futbal (soccer)

“The word in the streets is that you married Ricardo Ramirez, is true; or no?”

“Wow, word travels fast here.” I thought.

“Si its true little man.”

Juan’s chest appeared to poke out a little in pride; due to the reference of being called a man.

“He is a very dangerous man, do you know this?”

He spoke to me as if we were long time friends. He had met me the first day that Roxanne and I had gotten here
, and he had always gone out of his way to speak whenever he saw me out.

“Yes
Juan, I am aware of that.”

It isn’t like I had a choice!

“There is his right hand man up there,” Juan stated: nodding towards the ominous SUV parked up on the hill.

I jumped up making my way towards the SUV.

“Bye, Rubia.”

Goodbye Juan,” I shouted out over my shoulder as I ran.

I yelled out in the driver’s direction, “Catch me if you can, jerk!”
I couldn’t resist the temptation of yelling out.

I made my way through back streets and alleys
.

I knew it
would be hard for the large vehicle to maneuver in them.

A part of me just wanted to antagonize him
.

I already knew how controlling men in this region could be, and Ricardo was already showing signs of fitting the bill.

If he thought that I was going to give in to his every whim; he had the wrong girl.

I never have been one to go down without a fight.

Chapter Four

“Hay muchas problemas Señor, muchas problemas!”

The driver informed Ricardo, as if offering an excuse for my bad behavior.

I brushed my way past a very angry Ricardo as I laughed.

You’re damn straight that I am a lot of problems!” I thought to myself.

I slammed her bedroom door open and reveled in the terror that I saw in her eyes, as she backed away until she ended up on the bathroom floor with her knees huddled up against her body.

“You dare to toy with me? Do you think that this is some game? Do you mistake me for one of your weak men
; that you manipulate and steal from?”

“What do you expect you bastard, you kidnapped me, imprisoned me, and forced me to marry you; you thug!”

“You have no idea!” I growled
, reaching down and wrapping her shirt in my fist, as I lifted her right up and into my face.

She began beating her fists against my chest, screaming at me and sobbing.

Suddenly, I felt something that I had never felt for anyone but my little brother, ‘empathy.’

I guess that he let me beat against his chest until I wore myself out. He leaned down picking me up in his arms cradling me and I fell into chest quietly sobbing. I was now seeking solace in the arms of a man who had taken me against my will and forced my hand in marriage.

I was too tired to see the irony of my behavior now; perhaps later. Nothing at this point of my journey made any sense.

Ricardo

She sobbed in my arms like a baby, while I stroked her hair; soothing her until she fell asleep.

I quietly lay her on the bed and turned making my way to the door.

I looked
over my shoulder one more time; this was the only time that I could remember feeling this way about anyone but my little brother.

Chapter Five

Ricardo had grown up in the back alleys of a drug infested and war torn Colombia.

There was no mercy for a boy like him who had been born to a family that fell under the curse of poverty. What little bit of money that there was; was drunk up in the alcoholism that plagued his abusive father.

His mother did not help matters by making excuses for the behavior of a drunken and abusive man; a man who Ricardo learned to loathe at a very young age.

He began to run drugs from the jungles of Colombia and gained a reputation for being ruthless and sadistic.

It wasn’t long before the military approached him to work for them.

There were very thin lines between legal and illegal in Colombia.

Lives were bought and sold with no thought of mercy. Ricardo did what he had to and rose in the ranks of the military very swiftly. His men not only feared him, they truly respected him.

Chapter Six

“Missy, Missy, you must get up and get ready for dinner.”

I rubbed my eyes and took a moment to get my bearings.

I eyed the maid that I knew to go by the name of ‘Marta’ and told her that I needed coffee.

“I can get dressed by myself
, Marta.”

She got up making her way to my closet and removing items that I wasn’t even aware were there.

Geez, I can for sure dress myself now. With a whole new wardrobe; who couldn’t?

I wasn’t feeling real confident about wearing clothes that I hadn’t been responsible for buying.
I couldn’t help but be flattered by the gesture of Ricardo providing the equivalent of a stylist. It remained to be seen if the items would fit. Even if they did, I had no intentions of cutting my husband any slack.

I waited until she left my room before I went into action with the plan that formed in my mind.

I would be damned if any man wa
s going to tell me what to wear; regardless of how flattered that I was.

Ricardo

I looked up to view my wife entering the dining hall; in a full blown state of rebellion. It was evident what she had done
, when she entered in wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and flip flops.

You little bitch!” I thought.

Juanita

Ricardo jumped from the table and across the distance that stood between us in one lithe movement.

“You are hurting me,” I whined, as his fingers roughly clenched around my upper arm.

“You haven’t seen pain little girl!”

I struggled to keep up with his long strides, as he all but dragged me down the long corridor which led to my room.

“Do you think this is a game?” His voice thundered, vibrating off of the walls.

“I don’t need you to dress me!”

Ricardo

I calmly turned eyeing her and took the key that was nestled in my trousers into my hand. I slowly made my way to the door and locked the deadbolt, placing the key back into its hidden place; deep within the recesses of my pocket.

“I asked you a question and I don’t like repeating myself.”

“I, I, don’t like being kidnapped and forced to marry a complete stranger.”

“I also don’t like being disobeyed, Rubia.” I slowly ran the pad of my thumb over her bottom lip, as I tugged at the handful of hair that I now had twisted in my hand.

“Of course there is always the option of a Guatemalan prison. They would love you there; the men and the women. But I think that I would much rather keep you for myself. Quit struggling Rubia and face the inevitable, you belong to me now.”

“I belong to no one!”

Juanita

I never could have anticipated what happened next. The bastard removed a knife from his suited trousers and sliced through the t-shirt that I had purposely worn with no bra.

“Oh God, please, you’re scaring me Ricardo, please.”

My body shook as he ignored me; slicing through my jeans until they fell at my feet.

The bra and the panties
, were next to suffer the assault of his weapon. They had been sliced through, as if they were nonexistent.

“Oh Rubia, you are so beautiful.”

His mouth covered my nipple and the alternating from suction to the flicking of his tongue; made it feel as if it were glass that would shatter if he touched it.

Against my will, a moan
exuded from somewhere deep in my core.

He chewed up and down my neck as he spoke. “I think that you would do better in my dungeon. That way I can take you out and fuck you when I want to.”

“Ricardo pleas
e, please, I’ll do what you say, you’re scaring me.”

“Liar!” Little American liar.”

His finger pried at my opening and to my horror it slid right in, as if inviting my nemesis to have his way with me.

“Your body gives you away, Rubia
, it tells all of your dirty little secrets.”

“Liar…Mi mientirosa pequeña”

“By the time that I am done with you little girl, you’ll be addicted to me. I own your ass and the quicker that you come to grips with that, the better off you will be. That sweet, tight little cunt of yours likes Ricardo.”

He chuckled, only adding to my confusion of why my body was responding to a man who had kidnapped me and forced my hand in marriage.

“That’s it baby, cum for me
. You’re going to need the lubrication; when I fuck you into obedience.”

As if on command, I exploded.

Had it not been for his hand wrapped in my hair, I truly believe that I would have collapsed.

Ricardo

I tore out of my suit and straddled her before she had a chance to recover from the mind blowing orgasm that I had just given her.

I pinned her legs back resisting the urge to thrust into her full force. The little bitch, I wanted to hurt her, I wanted to make her listen.

“Oh that hot little hole of yours just loves me; regardless of what your head is telling you. I have no intention of letting you go anywhere; you little thief. Don’t underestimate me, or you will be sorry little girl!”

Juanita

I could feel the heat rumbling in my core, the bastard was doing it again.

My fingers raked into his flesh as I willingly opened my legs, giving in to the pleasure that he gave.

I had never been one to be a slut and here I was spreading my legs, moaning and wreathing, as if I were some bitch in heat.

How could it be that one man could cause me to be so conflicted? I didn’t want to reason, I didn’t want to resist; I only wanted to feel the way that he was making me feel right now, and so once again, I gave in.

As if reading my mind, his voice cut through my thoughts.

“That’s it; that’s it, give in Rubia…”
