Lon was already getting to his feet, so Casey scrambled up too, and stripped off his shirt, ready for a swim.

“Measuring tape? For what?” Lon asked.

Ash snorted. “They’ll be measuring cock sizes in a minute.”

Casey leaned back onto Lon’s hairy chest with a glower at Devon and lightly ground his buttcheeks on Lon’s groin. “Which I will win by a mile.”

Devon was sucking sour lemons again. “He who doesn’t share, doesn’t get a present from Father Christmas,” he declared.

There was a decidedly smug smile on Casey’s face as he retorted, “Oh, don’t you be concerned, Devvy. Father Christmas is
definitely
coming for me.”

As the double entendre registered with Devon, Lon decided he’d had enough. He grasped Casey around the waist and slung him over his beefy shoulder. Casey shrieked like a girl as he was carted unceremoniously down the beach to the waves, ensuring that everyone in the near vicinity knew what was happening. Ignoring his cries, Lon waded into the water and threw Casey in. He sank to the bottom but came up with a laugh. “Not fair!”

Lon smiled as he strode in until he was waist-deep in the water. “You can try to carry me if you want?”

Casey lunged at Lon’s shoulders and tried to tip him off balance. He ended up face-first in the water instead as Lon threw him back with a laugh. They played like this for a while, Lon dunking him repeatedly until Casey called for reinforcements.

“Devon! Help me!”

Ash was wading in, but Devon was standing fearfully in the shallows, grimacing as each wave washed over his knees. “Ugh! I hate the water. My eyeliner’s going to run, my hair’s going to be ruined, and I’m going to get sand and salt in places that sand and salt should never be in. Nope. I’m going back. I’m not going in.”

Ash rolled his eyes where Devon couldn’t see before turning around. “Come on, Dev. Don’t be such a pussy. We’re celebrating Casey’s good news. What did you think was going to happen at the beach? You come to the beach to swim, man.”

Shaking his head slowly, Devon replied, “I was hoping for some hot studs playing volleyball. You know that. I told you this morning, and you assured me that there’d be plenty of oiled, hot, manly bodies at the beach. You promised.”

“I lied. Now get your arse in here.”

“No.”

Ash turned back to Casey and winked, signaling with his eyes. Casey caught on straightaway and casually started back toward the shore as Ash smiled at Devon. “Okay, honey. You don’t have to go in if you don’t want. Here, take my hand. We’ll go back to the towels.”

Poor, naïve, trusting Devon.

With a huge yank, Ash jerked him forward into the waves. He screamed loudly and pulled back as the water splashed up to his chest, but by that time, Casey had grabbed his other hand. They forced him into the water and then, with perfect timing, Casey swept his feet out from under him just as the wave came, completely covering his head. The wave took him out. His carefully maintained image—complete with hair gel and eyeliner—was gone in a fraction of a second.

He emerged from the water like some doomsday zombie, his eyes blackened and his hair dripping down his cheeks. He narrowed his eyes at his two grinning friends as he swiped at his face. “Prepare to die,” he intoned. He lunged at Ash and pushed him under before trying to grab Casey. Casey laughed out loud and dived out of his reach, swimming for Lon to protect him.

Lon was lazily swimming in the water but stood so the tide was shoulder-deep as Casey climbed on his back, hugging him with legs and arms entwined around his torso. “Save me, Lon. The apocalypse is coming.”

Casey also copped a feel as he gripped Lon in the water. He was only human, wasn’t he? However Devon didn’t seem to be. With the black running down his cheeks, he set his sights on Casey and glared in mock anger.

“Hand over the human, Lon, and you won’t get hurt.”

Lon caressed Casey’s jaw where he had buried his face in the curve of his neck. “I dunno, Devon. I kinda like this one. Can I keep him?”

“But he needs to be punished. He’s a naughty, naughty boy.”

“What punishment were you thinking of? A spanking? I could do that for you.”

Devon tried to keep his character through his amusement. “I don’t think so. I think he’d get enjoyment out of that.”

“Hmm. What about if I tie him up? Would that work?”

“No. Not harsh enough. He needs to be taught a lesson. Maybe I should set him homework—like he must give a blow job a day for seven days?”

Lon scratched his head. “I usually have a rule about reciprocation when it comes to blow jobs. He’d probably end up getting pleasure out of that.”

Blackened eyes widened as Devon fell out of character. He squeaked, “Really? Shit! He’s a lucky bastard.”

“Hmm,” Lon agreed. “So what punishment should we give him?”

“Lava?”

“Too hot. Besides there’s a total fire ban on.”

“Water torture?”

“There’s a drought.”

“Fire ants?”

“Wow—you’re mean!”

“Oh, for heaven’s sake. Just dunk the kid, then.”

“Okay.”

“What?” Casey cried. He ended up getting a mouthful of water as Lon bobbed down without warning, taking him under. He came up spluttering, so Lon held him up as he coughed up the entire ocean and its contents. Devon drifted away, content that Casey had received his punishment. When Casey finally finished coughing, he glanced over to see Ash gently wiping the black off Devon’s face.

For the life of him, Casey couldn’t work out the relationship between those two.

“You alright, Case?” Lon asked, and Casey realized with a start that he was still clinging like a monkey to Lon’s body—the front now, as Lon had an arm around him. Their bodies swayed gently in the swell, rubbing together nicely.

“Mmm hmm,” Casey answered. “I think I like this.” With the water protecting them from eyes, he ground himself against Lon’s cock and received a pinch on the arse for his trouble.

“Behave or else I’ll have to spank you like Devon wants.”

“Yeah? Better men than you have tried and have not succeeded.”

The laughter drained out of Lon’s face as he stared intently at Casey. “Did he do that to you?”

Casey grimaced as he desperately wished his past history would stop intruding on his present. He didn’t have to ask to know which
he
Lon meant. He placed his head on Lon’s broad chest for comfort and told him, “Yes. Spankings for the camera and beatings otherwise. I had a big problem in obeying him, and he had a temper.”

He was reassured as Lon sympathetically traced Casey’s bare back with his large hands. “You know I won’t do that to you, don’t you? I’m not into that domination bullshit. I was just having Devon on. I’m not him, Casey. I won’t hurt you and I won’t do anything you tell me you don’t want.”

Surprised, Casey drew back and looked Lon in the face. “I know you’re not him, Lon. I never thought you were.”

“You should be with someone like Devon, Case. He’s young and fun and there’s no danger in him. You shouldn’t have to settle for someone like me. I’m too old for you.”

Casey placed his hands on Lon’s shoulders and spoke earnestly. “I’m not settling for anything. I like you, Lon. You’re fucking hot and you don’t scare me or remind me in any way of the things my father did or forced me to do. I’m cuddled up to you because you give me a stiffy by just breathing the same air as me. I’m hoping for a chance to be with you again because you turn me on something fierce, and I want you to fuck me. I want you to blow me. I want to blow you. I want to jerk off together. I want to lie naked with you all night. I want you to cook me breakfast again. I want to jack you off in the showers, trying to be quiet—because they are
public
showers. I want to go to the pub with you and meet your friends. I want you to stick your fingers in me again because you almost blew my mind last time and I didn’t get to enjoy it enough. Now, is there anything about that you don’t understand or do I need to drag you home and show you?”

“Yes. No. I mean….” Lon seemed confused about how to answer, but the erection sticking into Casey’s thigh was enough to tell him Lon liked it—a lot. “Shit. Are you sure? I haven’t seen you all weekend.”

To that Casey blushed and looked ashamed. “Yeah. I was hiding a bit because I was embarrassed about what I told you. You don’t need to hear that crap. I don’t want it affecting my life now. That shit’s in the past, and I want it to stay there.”

To his credit Lon didn’t flinch or turn away, he just frowned lightly and said, “I know. But it’s going to color your reactions, and I needed to know. You don’t need to be embarrassed or ashamed about it. It was done
to
you, not
by
you.”

Casey grinned. “Are you my new therapist, now? Because I’ll have to confess that I just found a guy on the weekend to be my new therapist and you’re way hotter than him. He also charges for his services, and I think I know a way how to get you to help me for free. It involves me, and my mouth, and very little clothing.”

Lon slotted his lips over Casey’s, then took them both under the water again in retaliation. At the rate their dicks were going, it would be hours before they’d be able to walk out of the ocean without giving an unexpected show to the patrons of the beach. When they came up, Devon and Ash were grinning madly at them from nearby.

“Do you two need a bit of privacy?” Ash asked in an overly solicitous tone.

“I think they need four walls and a bed, Ash.” Devon had obviously forgiven both of them.

“A bed? Nah. I reckon Lon can lift Casey easily enough.”

“True,” Devon answered, speaking with Ash as if he weren’t floating less than six feet away from them. “And blow jobs never need a bed.”

“Or rimming.”

“Rimming? Really? I never knew you did.”

“You never asked.”

Casey got the feeling that there were some undercurrents of a private nature going on between the two of them. He untangled himself from Lon and swam away, ignoring the hand that lingered on his arse until he was out of reach. “Don’t you guys have your own sex lives? Do you have to wonder so much about mine?”

“Yours is more interesting,” Devon chuckled. “Do you have pictures?”

“Piss off!”

“Can you at least provide details about positions and staying power? Are you into kinky stuff? Do you need a third?” Devon’s face was lit up like a Christmas tree—a drenched Christmas tree after Casey threw water at him.

They swam lazily around for a while until Lon took off at a fast crawl perpendicular to the shore. Ash floated on his back nearby, so Casey was surprised when Devon came up beside him and asked, “Did you really hook up with him?”

“Who?”

“Lon.”

“Yes. I’m not lying.”

“I know. But I mean, did you really
hook up
, hook up. Or just a bit-of-petting hook up?”

“Huh?”

Devon sighed and looked back to make sure they were out of earshot before leaning in and saying, “I just want to ask you…. You can tell me to piss off if you want, but I’m really wanting to know.”

“Uh huh?” Casey wasn’t quite sure he wanted to know.

“Did you really bottom for Lon? Did you really take that up the arse?”

“What? You have to be joking.”

“No, no, no.” Devon was earnest as he said, “I mean it. I’m not looking for slutty details. I’m just really curious about if you did it? Did you take something that big? Didn’t it hurt?”

Casey blinked in astonishment. “Holy shit, Devon. Haven’t you ever had anal sex before? I thought you fuckin’ slept around more than some ’80s groupie.”

Devon blushed, a God-honest-serious blush. “Not as often as you think. And not for anal. Bottoming, I mean. Of course I’ve done it before, but only a couple of times with guys who were rather small in the dick department. I know I come over as a huge bottom queen, but I’m actually a top. I usually do the topping, or we only suck and touch. I just don’t know how guys take it when you’re that big. Doesn’t it hurt?”

Holy shit. Devon is fuckin’ serious about this.
“Are you telling me in a roundabout way that you have a huge dick? Are you coming on to me?”

“No! I’m trying hard here, Case. Be a mate. Does it hurt? And how do I make it stop hurting?”

He obviously really wanted to know, so Casey shrugged and treaded water. “I haven’t actually taken Lon yet, but I am hoping to soon. There’s hurt and there’s hurt with it, Dev. Plenty of lube helps a lot, being relaxed, not forcing it. Obviously if you’re with someone who has done it a lot, it’s easier. Use your fingers first—fuck. I can’t believe I’m discussing this shit with you. Don’t you read?”

Devon looked out at the horizon, his face still red. “I know most of this, but people lie a lot. They say it doesn’t hurt to make you feel better, but it must do.”

With a sinking feeling, Casey thought he knew who the person was who’d lied to Devon to make him feel better.

Two days before Casey had met with Mick, his new therapist. It was an intense session—a lot of crying and explaining on Casey’s side, and to his surprise, some comforting hugs from Mick. Casey didn’t know that therapists were allowed to touch. Margaret never did. But he found himself clinging to Mick and sobbing out his situation. Mick allowed him to talk, asked a couple of questions, but mostly told Casey that he was permitted to have feelings for a guy like Lon. It was okay. It wasn’t dangerous if Casey didn’t feel in any way threatened by the situation.

Then Mick had set him homework. Casey would be seeing him again in two weeks’ time. During that period Casey had to tell one person about his past—not the whole past, just a bit of it. Casey needed to tell someone who was his friend and then report back to Mick on the reaction he got. He guessed that Devon would be his test subject.

“Dev. I’m gonna tell you something that’s intensely personal and hard for me to say. But I need you to listen, okay? When I was fourteen, I was raped. Not just once, but several times, over several months, and not only by one person. It hurt. I’m not talking about the emotional stuff. I’m talking about physically, so that I can tell you about anal sex hurting. When someone forces you, it hurts.”
