“I want you. Right here. Right now.” He said to me when we were face to face again. The sweet smell of my luscious rose was on his face, and I pulled him closer to taste myself on his lips. With his hands under my arms, he lifted me up, and I wrapped my legs around him. I felt the head of his shaft, pressed against my opening, and I hesitated, looking into his eyes.

“I want to feel you. All of you.” He said, thrusting his hips upward to meet my heat. Then I relaxed my muscles, kissed him again, and welcomed him inside me. He then carried me from the wall, and to the bed, as I continued to savor my sweet heat on his lips. With him on top, he gave me slow and long strokes, while his fingers intertwined with mines. His dick felt so incredible, I was beside myself. “Oh yes, Poppi!” I cried, when I felt him going deeper. He was intoxicating, bringing me to a high like no other. Inch by inch, breath by breath, he owned every piece of me. “Oh my God, I love you!” I screamed, when my orgasm suddenly took over.

“Ugh!” He groaned, his movements getting faster. “I. Love. You. Toooooo!” He managed to say when he exploded inside me. Then he collapsed on top of me panting. I wrapped my arms around him, needing to cherish this moment for all eternity. Indubitably, I felt my heart flutter, at the realization of my feelings for him. “What’s wrong?” He asked when he raised himself to look at me. He shifted his weight, and propped himself up on his elbow, beside me. Then I turned to him, and looked in his eyes. I did not want to complicate things, by getting my feelings involved, but they already were. Decisively, I never wanted to fall for him, but I already had. This made me sad, because I knew that nothing could come of our relationship. He was married and as far as I was concerned, did not intend to leave his wife. He and I never talked about such things, because I never planned on it ever going any further, than just sex with him. Now that I have grown emotionally attached, I had no idea where to go from here. He stared back at me waiting for me to speak, then tears filled my eyes, and I hated myself for it. He then rolled off me completely, and sat up.

“Baby, talk to me, what’s wrong?” He asked. I sat up too, and blinked away my tears.

“Nothing. You’re such an amazing lover that’s all.” I said, forcing a smile.

“That’s all?” He countered, pinching my nipple.

“Ow!” I screamed, playfully slapping his hand away, giggling. He gathered me in his arms, and kissed the top of my head. Then he reached for a remote, on the glass table near the bed, and pushed a button. The wall on the far left side of the room retracted, exposing a huge electric fireplace, with faux flames that instantly warmed the room. I moved, and nestled myself between his legs, resting my back against his chest. Then I closed my eyes, and wished that this moment would last forever.

She said she loved me. I could not get those words out of my head. As we sat there, cuddled up against the cushioned headboard, watching the faux flames burn, I wrapped my arms around her tighter. I have never felt this way about any woman before. Though I loved my wife dearly, I could not deny the way Starr made me feel. Hearing Starr say that she loved me was like listening to the sweet sounds of a harp, playing softly in my head. Now, I wondered if she really meant it, or if she were just saying so, in the heat of the moment. Whatever the case may be, I did not want to chance bringing it up, or forcing her to talk about it. I also did not want to risk her changing moods on me, or suddenly feeling uncomfortable, and leaving. Tonight, I had her all to myself - no phones ringing, no meetings, and no interference from the outside world. When I looked up at the vaulted glass ceiling, I spotted a shooting star. Several years back, when I was just a junior executive, I remembered looking up at the sky one evening, and praying for God to send me the ideal woman who was perfect for me. With all the stars in the sky that night, shining as brightly and as beautiful as ever, I had hoped and prayed that there was one star out there that burned only for me. Now, I had this beautiful woman lying in my arms, and it finally started to dawn on me. God had listened, and I had finally found my Starr.

~NENA~

Good thing I traveled light, because the crowd over at baggage claim was growing by the second. I quickly made my way through the airport, in search of the fast food restaurant, where Naima told me to meet her. I glanced at my watch, and became even more frustrated, because I was already twenty minutes late. Finally, I saw the neon sign for the burger joints’ airport dining area, and through the crowd, I could see Naima patiently waiting, picking at her salad.

“Nai!” I called out. She looked up in my direction, and quickly stood, almost knocking over the cup in front of her. “I’m so sorry I’m late. The plane got here on time, but walking through that,” I said, pointing at the bustling crowd of people, “was damn near impossible! I almost got trampled getting here.” I finished, setting my bag on the floor beside her chair. “How are you?” I asked, finally looking at her, extending my arms. She gave me a brief hug, and just as quickly, sat back down. I took a seat too.

“I’m good. How about yourself?” She asked. I smiled, so happy to see her.

“I’m great! It’s so good to see you Nai.” I said to her. All she did was nod, and smiled back.

“So,” she began, taking a sip of her water. “What’s been going on with you lately? How’s school?” She asked me.

“Oh, school’s good. I go back next month, and I graduate in April.” I beamed.

“That’s great, girl! Don’t forget to send me an invitation. I want to be there to see you walk across that stage. I know how hard you worked for it.” Naima said with a smile. It meant the world to me, to hear her say that.

“Thanks, Nai. I really appreciate you saying that, and I would love for you to be there.” I told her. Naima had no idea how much I missed her.

“How does Tony feel about it?” She then asked me. “I know he must be thrilled that you’re finally graduating, so you can go back to focusing all your energy on him again.” She said looking at me. At that moment, I stopped smiling, and looked away. I wanted to deflect the subject of, Tony, as long as possible.

“Tony and I are separated.” I eventually said, looking down at my hands.

“Oh no, I’m sorry hon. When did that happen?” She asked concerned.

“Not long after you left.” I replied, avoiding her eyes. My heart quickened, and I started to get nervous.

“Did he move out?” She asked. I paused before speaking. I really did not want to lie to her.

“No. I did.” I solemnly responded.

“You got your own place?” She asked confused.

“No, not exactly,” I said, finally meeting her eyes.

“Okay, I’m not following. Are you staying in a hotel or something?” She asked again.

“Can we go somewhere more private, Nai, so we can talk?” I asked, feeling on edge. Naima looked me over before responding, and then her tone changed.

“No.” She said bluntly. “We can talk right here. What is it, Nena?” I let out a deep breath before speaking.

“I wanted to tell you over the phone when you called but…” I began.

“Wanted to tell me what, Nena?” She asked, cutting me off. I exhaled slowly.

“Nai…” I started, but stopped again.

“What?” She said again, her patience wearing thin. Her eyes were like fire and ice, making me feel panicky.

“I’ve been staying with Chris.” I finally said, looking at her with pleading eyes. I was hoping she would understand, and be open to what I was about to tell her.

“You’ve been what?” Those fiery eyes now cut through me. Suddenly, I felt like a child, about to be disciplined, for doing something wrong. Naima was pissed.

“I wanted to tell you over the phone, but I was afraid, because I didn’t know how you’d react. You were so angry with me the first time he and I… you know, so I was afraid you’d…” I tried to explain.

“Wait, wait, wait,” she stopped again. “Slow down. What do you mean ‘the first time’? What the hell is going on, Nena? What are you trying to say?” Naima asked, narrowing her eyes at me.

“Chris and I are… well we’ve been together since… well we…” I stammered, and let out another frustrated sigh. “There’s no easy way to say this.” I admitted.

“Just say it!” She snapped, staring at me, crossing her arms. Please God make her understand.

“I love him Nai, and he loves me. We love each other.” I told her, trying to justify my actions. Naima’s jaw dropped, and her eyes went upward, then she shook her head. “We tried to stay away from each other, but… please understand, Nai.” I begged. Then, she gave me a sarcastic chuckle, shook her head again, and I continued, “We never meant to hurt you. I tried sis, but…”

“Don’t! You dare call me that ever again!” She said through clenched teeth, pushing back from the table.

“Nai, please,” I said standing up as well, trying to stop her from leaving.

“Get the fuck out my face!” She yelled, shoving me aside. She quickly moved past me, and I had to stop her.

“Nai, please hear me out,” I said, grabbing her arm. “I love hi…” I started to say again. Before the words could come out of my mouth this time, Naima turned around, and slapped me hard across the face. The nearby customers in the area stopped, and gasped. Shocked, I let go of my sister’s arm, and cupped my face. Then tears stung my eyes. The same tears that I now saw streaming down Naima’s face.

“I don’t ever want to see your worthless face again! I am so done with your trifling ass. You and that son of a bitch can have each other!” Naima spoke those last words, before storming out of the dining area, and disappearing into the airport traffic. Feeling embarrassed, I avoided eye contact with the strangers that now stared at me. I gathered my things forcing back tears, and headed for the ticket booth. The side of my face stung from where Naima hit me, but the embarrassment I felt, hurt my pride even more. I shamefully booked myself on the next flight back to Virginia.

~ALANA~

Tony and I have been consistently seeing each other, ever since Thanksgiving. With his pending divorce looming, I did everything I could to keep him happy, and free of stress. Although I cannot say that I am not thrilled, by the whole ordeal, I knew that deep down he still loved his wife. In spite of that, over the last few weeks, we have gotten close. Eventually, the guilt I felt, over having played a part in the dissolution of his marriage, had started to eat away at my conscience. As I stepped out of my shower, wrapping a towel around my dripping wet body, I heard the phone ring. Then, I sprinted out of the bathroom and to the cordless phone in my living room.

“Hello?” I said, a little breathless.

“Hey, what’s up?” I heard him say, and I smiled.

“Hey yourself,” I blushed.

“Whatchu doing?” Tony asked me.

“I just got out the shower.” I replied.

“Oh? Are you wet?” He asked seductively.

“You know I am.” I played along.

“Can I see?” He asked.

“Anytime,” I responded.

“Really?” He asked again.

“Yeesss.” I purred.

“How about now?” He said.

“Sure.” I replied, my smile widening.

“Open the door.” He ordered.

I bit my bottom lip, and quickly ran towards the front door. As soon as I unlocked it, and pulled it open, Tony stepped in, and pulled me to him. Closing the door behind him, he kissed me, and snatched the towel off. I kissed him back with the same urgency he came through the door with, and I helped him get out of his clothes. We made our way to my bedroom, and I grabbed a condom off my nightstand. After stripping away his clothes, I pushed him on the bed, and climbed on top of him. I tore open the condom wrapper, and rolled the latex down, onto his shaft. Then I mounted him, and was in immediate ecstasy. I slowly began to move my hips, back and forth on his groin, when Tony slapped my ass.

“C’mon, ride this dick girl! I know you can do better than that.” He said, thrusting his hips upward meeting my strokes. I started bouncing up and down real fast, grasping his shoulders to keep my balance. “Yeah that’s it girl. Ride this dick!” He urged, slapping my ass again.

“Mm, like that?” I said, with beads of sweat gathering at my temple, and perspiration dripping down my back.

“Oh yeah!” Tony managed to say, grabbing onto my hips.

I rode him hard and fast. Then he rolled me onto my back, taking control. Placing both my legs on his shoulders, he entered me. I gasped as he barbarically pumped into me. Off in the distance, I heard my home phone ringing. Ignoring it, I let my eyes roll to the back of my head, enjoying how good this was feeling.

“Fuck me daddy!” I urge, opening my legs wider. He put both hands on my ankles, and pushed them apart. The ringing had stopped, and then my answering machine picked up.

“Yo! Answer the fucking phone!” I heard Chris’ voice say through my machine. Tony suddenly stopped, and turned towards the voice emanating from my living room. “All right bet. I’ll holler at you later then. You better be home.” Chris said before hanging up. Then, Tony sat back on his heels, letting his penis slip out of me.

“What the fuck was that about? You know him?” He asked, looking at me. I slowly sat up stalling, trying to figure out how to respond. “How the fuck do you know him, huh?” Tony asked again, waiting for me to answer.

“I don’t. I mean… I do, but not that well.” I said, silently cursing Chris for fucking my life up, once again. Tony shook his head, and got off the bed, snatching the condom off. He tossed it into the trash bin near my bed, then grabbed his boxers, and slipped them on. “Tony, wait please.” I begged, scurrying off the bed, clutching the sheet to my breasts, and behind my back. “I can explain.” I said, stopping short in front of him. Tony quickly pulled on his hoodie, and buckled his pants.

“Nah,” he said shaking his head again. “That’s the shithead that fucked my wife; my so-called best friend.” Tony then paused, and glared at me. “Somehow, I think you knew that.” He finished.

“Tony, I can explain.” I said again, and he shook his head at me once more.

“That’s all you bitches ever say; ‘I can explain’.” He said, mocking me. “Are you fucking him too?” He then asked, looking at me with disgust.

“No!” I screamed, appalled by his assumption. “It’s not like that.” I said with a sigh.

“Really?” He questioned, snatching his keys off the floor. “Then tell me. What the fuck is it like?” He said to me, with distrust in his eyes. Then I sat on the bed, and took a deep breath, before telling him… everything.

~NAIMA~

I stormed into Starr’s apartment, slamming the door behind me. “I can’t believe that backstabbing bitch!” I said, tossing my keys, and purse on the kitchen counter. I then opened the refrigerator, grabbed a bottle of water, and slammed the door shut.

“Whoa, chica. Please don’t tear my house down.” Starr said, rushing in. “What’s the matter? You okay mamma?” She asked, joining me in the kitchen, rubbing my back. I placed both hands on the counter, and shook my head, willing my angry tears away. “What happened, girl? Tell me.” Starr probed. I could not bring myself to say anything. I was furious. All I could do was shake my head, at how my sister could be this inconsiderate, self-serving, backstabbing bitch! She had some nerve telling me she loved Chris.

“Fucking bitch!” I said aloud.

“Who?” Starr asked surprised. “Nena? What happened?” She asked, hopping up, to sit on the kitchen counter.

“She’s still fucking my ex, that’s what happened.” I replied disgusted. Starr gasped.

“She told you that?” She then asked me. I nodded, and began shaking my head again. “What the fuck is wrong with her?” Starr asked, now shaking her head as well.

“She says they’re in love, and wants me to be happy for them. Happy for them! Can you believe her ass!” I said, wishing I had punched her, rather than slapped her.

“I hope you told her to go fuck herself!” Starr said, still stunned. Now, I looked at Starr confused.

“What happened to ‘blood is thicker than water,’ and how I should learn to forgive, and forget? And all that shit!” I questioned, and Starr shook her head again.

“I know I said that girl, but Nena crossed the line on this one. She chose a man over her own sister! I thought she was better than that.” Starr said. “What’d you do?” She then asked.

“Humph! I smacked the shit out of her. Fucking bitch! I hate her!” I screamed, slamming my fist on the counter.

“Okay, calm down chica, you’re pregnant. Too much stress is not good for the baby.” She warned, reaching over to rub my still small belly. “I’m so sorry hon. I thought you two were going to kiss and make up, and start fresh. I never thought Nena would start a relationship with the S.O.B. That is sick. I mean, what the fuck is wrong with her?” Starr asked again, to herself more than to anyone.

“You know what; I don’t even give a fuck anymore. I told her she could have him, because I’m done with her ass.” Nena was no longer my sister, because now, I disowned her for good this time.

~CHRIS~

I vigorously tapped at the screen on my phone, and speed dialed Alana’s number once more. It went straight to voicemail again. “Bitch!” I yelled, flipping the phone shut. “All right, I got something for that ass.” I turned my car around heading for her place, which was just around the corner from where I already was. Several minutes later, I was banging my fist on Alana’s door. Then I stopped, and waited. No answer. I pulled out my phone again, and dialed her home number. I could hear her phone ring from beyond the door, then I heard some movement coming from inside, and I banged on the door again. “Alana I know you’re in there! Open the fucking door!” I shouted. Then I started to bang on it again, when the door flew open.

“Keep your voice down!” She hissed. Ignoring her, I moved pass her and went in. “What do you want Chris?” She asked, closing the door behind me, and then folding her arms. I looked around to make sure she was alone. Then, I caught a glimpse of a pair of panties, sticking out from between her couch cushions, and reached down to pull them out. With a smile, I turned to face her, twirling it with my finger. She angrily stomped towards me, and snatched the sheer fabric from my hands.

“What the fuck do you want Chris?” Alana seemed angry, and I sneered at her.

“Nothing really,” I said, taking a seat on her sofa. “My girl’s out of town, so I came to see what’s up with you.” I said smiling at her. Then, I rested my hands behind my head, putting my feet up on her coffee table, and made myself comfortable.

“You sick bastard.” She said. Now, I laughed.

“Don’t flatter yourself sweetheart. In comparison, you don’t even come close to my Nena.” I could see I struck a nerve with her, and I smiled again. “She’s mine now, so I’m officially off the market.” I teased.

“Is that right? Well, we’ll just see for how long.” She said, taking a seat in the chair across the room, crossing her legs. Putting my feet back down, I then leaned forward, with my elbows on my knees, and looked her straight in the eyes.

“And what’s that supposed to mean?” I challenged. Apparently, she still has not learned, from the last time she ran off at the mouth with me.

“You’ll find out soon enough.” She said, rising from the chair. “Now please, get the hell out.” She then started for the door, and I followed. When she proceeded to open it, I pushed it closed, and forced her body against it.

“What the hell are you doing?” She screamed, trying to free herself. I pinned her against the door, and forced my right knee between her thighs, from behind. She tried to use all her strength to push herself off the door, but I was without a doubt, stronger than her little ass. With my forearm against her back, I forcefully pushed her into the door again; a move we learned in training, during our boot camp days.
