He squeezed her. “For some reason, that doesn’t sound
as scary as it used to.”

She smiled. “You’ll make a great father, Micah.”

“I know.” He hugged her and kissed her shoulder.

She chuckled. “Arrogance doesn’t leave you, does it?”

“I’m not arrogant.” His hands drifted down her
stomach, beneath the water. “The least I can do for our kid is give it a great
mother. I’ve already done that, so therefore, I’ll be a great dad.”

She turned in his arms and straddled his lap. “You can
say some of the sweetest, yet slightly awkward, things.”

He sighed. “Told you, I’m turning into a sap.”

She slapped his shoulder. “Stop saying that. I love
this side of you.”

He pressed his face against her chest. “I’d only act
this way with you.”

She combed her fingers through his hair. Her chest
felt tight. She couldn’t stop saying it, or thinking it. He made her feel love
again, unlike anything she’d ever felt. With Rick, it wasn’t remotely as
intense. She kissed the top of Micah’s head. He was “it” for her.

“I will probably have to make another trip back to
Japan sometime in the next six months.” He lifted his head and met her eyes.
“You’re going with me this time.”

“What? You want me to finger my pussy on your bed?”

He laughed and shook his head. “You’re not going to
let that go, are you?”

“Not anytime soon.”

He blew out a breath. “Fine. Yes, I want you to finger
your pussy on my bed. I want you to lie there and beg me to fuck you. And we
both know I will. I will make you scream my name.”

She hugged him, pressing her face against his neck.
“I’m so glad you came to your senses and came back to me.”

He laughed and tightened his hold on her. “What can I
say? Sex with you is too good to pass up.”

She pulled back in mock offense. “I can’t believe you
just said that.”

He chuckled. “The bracelet is in the nightstand
drawer, on your side.”

She narrowed her eyes. “Don’t you have something else
to say?”

“I’m sorry. While my statement is true, sex isn’t why
I came back to you.”

She smiled. “Why did you come back to me?”

“You know all my secrets.” She shook her head. Micah
sighed. “And there might be a little love involved.”

“A little?” She raised an eyebrow.

“A lot. A whole lot.” Micah kissed her. “I’m so
fucking in love with you and you’re not going anywhere.”

“It wouldn’t have killed you to say that to begin
with.”

He snorted and stood, pulling her up with him. “I’m
not a talker, you know. I prefer to show.”

“Then show me.”

He grinned, before leading her to the bedroom to do
just that.
