Chapter 1
Faye was a forty-year-old woman who was not going quietly into the night.  A few more pounds over what she’d like to admit, she was still shapely.  Her blue eyes sparkled, her caramel colored, shoulder length hair shined, and she stood a confident five foot four inches tall. Not ready to call it a day on her sexual side, she found she now had the time to cultivate her desires.  Her husband left her for a younger woman about ten years ago and she raised her handsome son, Taylor, alone.  He was moving out today, and she stood at the window watching as the small rented moving van pulled away.

“Today is the first day of the rest of your life!”  She told her reflection in the glass.
Turning around she faced her seemingly larger living room, now devoid of video games and Taylor’s guitar in the corner.  A small tug at her heart, and then she was fine.

Dating over the last few years had been rather lack luster for her.  A series of leftover men, no one found interesting.  Justifying her continuance of the ritual, she told herself she had to eat, might as well be
at her dates expense, in a nice restaurant.  Wanting more, she was always hoped the next time would be different.

Recently, a new girl started at the office where
Faye worked as a bookkeeper.  They were about the same age and became friends quickly.  Although her new friend, Clair, was childless, their situations were much the same.  Clair and her husband divorced five years previously, and not having a child, she was a little freer to date.

Clair was more adventurous than
Faye was. She liked things a little kinky and invited Faye to join her in a threesome more than once.  Faye always declined with a laugh of embarrassment. Clair belonged to a group that encouraged the kind of kink she enjoyed and now that Faye was free, she made Faye agree to go with her, just once.  This weekend would be Faye’s first exposure to anything outside her comfort zone.

The two girls went shopping earlier in the week for the proper attire for
Faye’s excursion into the dark side.  Glad that her breasts were still generally perky, she was even gladder to find that a corset made up for the few extra pounds she still needed to lose.  Not used to showing so much skin, she was still unsure she could pull off the look Clair helped her to accomplish.  Walking in the stilettos was going to be hard enough.

This was just supposed to be a social event they were going to and nothing sexual would be expected of her unless she wandered away and unknowingly ended up in the area set aside for just that
purpose.  Even then, no still meant no, and she could decline.  It terrified her and excited her at the same time.

Faye
sat down on the couch.  The house was quiet, so quiet, until the phone rang, startling her, “Hello?”

“Is he gone yet?” Clair
asked.

“Clair…”

“What?  Come on…now you can actually have a life!  Don’t feel bad about that!”

“He just drove away, gimme a break!”
Faye laughed.

“Let’s go out for a drink. Whadaya say?”

“Okay.”

“Great.  I’ll pick you up in about an hour and a half.  See ya then.”

“All right.”

“Wear something sexy!”

“Clair!”  Faye laughed, but Clair had already hung up.

Leaping up from the
couch, she bounded up the stairs to her bedroom.  Pulling off her shirt and wiggling out of her jeans, she stood in front of the mirror.  She had to laugh, not being worried who would see her in her undies; they weren’t very attractive, white cotton grannie panties. Today she would throw them away; she was ready for a change.

After a quick shower, she started to go through all the things she bought on her shopping trip with Clair. Spreading a few things out on her bed,
she picked up the black lace panty and bra set several times before finally deciding to wear them.  In addition, she wore a black short skirt and a dark blue low cut blouse.  At the last minute, she chose to wear boots with heels in anticipation of wearing heels on the weekend. She felt she needed the practice it had been awhile.

As she reached the bottom of the stairs, she heard Clair’s
car horn.  Grabbing her purse, she locked the door behind her and walked to the passenger side of her car.

“Hurry up!” Clair called to her, “Get in!”

Faye opened the door and slid into the seat.  “Where are we going?”

“Just Anton’s
, a couple of the guys I know are meeting us there.”

“What?”

“Don’t worry, this way you will know someone besides me this weekend.”

Faye
was nervous at the thought of meeting Clair’s friends.  Taking a deep breath, she tried to relax.  Feeling silly, she smiled as she turned away from Clair, convincing herself she shouldn’t worry.

“All I ask is that you don’t act like a virgin.”

“Well that’s a silly thing to say.”

“What I’m saying is, loosen up… don’t be offended if these guys move a little faster than what you’re
used to.  They are hot guys who have great jobs, who knows where this might lead?  Oh and by the way, the blond in mine, his name is Garrett; your guy’s name is Brody.”

“My guy
...”

“Well, the one you’ll be with tonight anyway.” Clair laughed.

Anton’s was an upscale bar, and the valet took their car as they walked to the entrance.

Clair paused as they passed through the doorway, “Relax.”

Faye had never been to Anton’s and was quite impressed as she scanned the room. Low lights, subtle music, and the lobby was full of luscious plants and heavy wooden chairs.  As they approached the hostess, Clair told her they were meeting someone.  The woman glanced in the direction of the two men she had seated earlier who had told her they were expecting guests.  She asked them to follow her, and as they reached the table the men rose, one stepping forward.

“Clair! So glad you could make it.” Garrett held out his arm and Clair smiled as he
slipped his hand around her waist and pulled her to his side.

“I missed you!” She giggled.

Brody and Faye looked at each other and smiled.

“Oh I’m sorry.  This is my friend
Faye.  Faye, this is Garrett and this is Brody.”

Faye
extended her hand and Brody held it, bending down he kissed the back of her hand, “My pleasure.”  He said in a deep voice.

All
Faye could do was smile as her heart beat a little faster. He was quite possibly the sexiest man she had ever laid eyes on. His dark wavy hair was groomed perfectly; his matching dark eyes drew her into their depths.  His lip were full, she immediately wanted to kiss him.  He was dressed in an expensive looking suit and he stood a good foot above her.

Garrett suggested they all be seated and he ordered drinks for them.  They engaged in small talk, which revealed Garrett was a Vice President of a large company downtown and Brody owned an accounting firm. Clair knew them from the group she belonged to
and they all expressed pleasure knowing Faye would be joining them on the weekend.

After several glasses of moscato wine,
Faye was more relaxed.  When Brody would lean in and say something to her, pretending to be keeping a secret from Clair and Garrett, she could feel warmth spread through her abdomen.  When Garrett took Clair’s hand and asked her to join him on the small dance floor, Faye felt a twinge of panic to be left alone with Brody.  Faye watched them leave the secluded booth they all sat in and walk towards the dance floor.

Brody placed a hand under her chin and gently tugged it his direction, “I thought they’d never leave.”

Her eyes found his and she was able to get a good look at his features.  His dark brown hair was full and, although not long, it fell slightly over his ears.  Dark brown eyes looked back at her with playfulness, accentuated by mild crow’s feet, high cheekbones, and a full-lipped smile.  She liked what she saw.

His hand spread out over the side of her face, “You’re a beautiful woman,
Faye.  There has to be someone special in your life.”

“Actually no.  I’m divorced, and my son left for college today.  I’m on my own now.”  She laughed making light of it, but the thought disturbed her a little.

“Really? That’s good to hear.  I might stand a chance with you then?”  He teased.

Faye
thought she would wake up any minute; it had to be a dream for this man to ask her such a question, “Of course.” She smiled; it was all she could think of to say.

He laughed and quickly brushed his lips on hers as Garrett and Clair came back to the table. Clair and
Faye exchanged a look, letting Faye know she had seen the brief kiss.

Before Clair sat
down, she asked Faye, “Come with me, Faye? I need to um…
powder my nose
.” She giggled.

“Sure!”
Faye scooted out of the booth with Brody’s help and the girls headed for the restroom.

Clair rushed ahead of her and checked to see if anyone else was in the large ladies room.  Finding it empty, she spun around to face
Faye. “Oh my god, he’s crazy about you!”

Shaking her head,
Faye said, “I don’t know about that!”

“No he is!  I can tell!
” Clair paused, “I will tell you this, he is looking for a girl, and…he moves fast.  If you think there could be anything between you, don’t let it pass you by.  And by the way, you guys look great together.”  Clair turned around and walked back into the restaurant, and Faye followed not saying any more.

Thankfully,
it was a Friday and there was no rush to get home.  They ordered a light dinner, and they all shared what they ordered.  It seemed very intimate to Faye.  The booth they sat in was their world, and nothing else seemed to matter.  Brody was a gentleman, hot as hell, and entertaining.  When he came close, his scent was intoxicating.  What did she have to lose; Faye decided if he pursued her, she wouldn’t run the other way.

Garrett was quite the dancer and he loved showing off Clair and how he was able to run his hand down her back and grab a handful of her ass while they danced.
As they left the table for the dance floor again, Brody placed his hand on Faye’s leg, above the knee just under her skirt.  It seemed like an innocent gesture so she didn’t react.  However, there was a lull in their conversation and Brody turned to look at her. As Faye looked towards him, and his hand began to slide further up her leg.  Her heart was pounding in her chest.  He stopped just short of her black lace panties, which were fairly wet by now.
