Better Sex
Definition:
The Art of the Quickie
is the
most comprehensive look at what we think of as “neo-quickie sex”
we’ve read. Neo-quickie sex expands the old definition of quickies in this
new age adult sex education book. In the past quickie sex had one goal—to
please the man. Neo-quickie sex, according to Dr. Joel D. Block, senior
psychologist at the Jewish Medical Center on Long Island, is about creating
pleasure for both partners.
Outercourse:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Outercourse is a form of pleasuring and
sexual sharing other than penile-vaginal intercourse. The term is used to give
credibility to the many forms of sexual pleasure that are underused because of
the common view of having sex as having intercourse.
Paraphilia:
A
Better Sex
Definition: A paraphilia is a mental health term
recently used to indicate sexual arousal in response to sexual objects or
situations which may interfere with the capacity for reciprocal affectionate
sexual activity.
Queer:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Original definition is strange or odd. The
definition morphed to also include people in a negative connotation, such as
sissy or pervert, back in the ’50s. It has since been adopted as a term of
empowerment by the gay community and has come to be a broader term that
signifies anyone who dresses or acts outside societal norms.
Runway:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Also referred to as the
“taint.” This is actually medically called the perineum and is the
strip of skin between the scrotum and the anus.
Sybian:
A
Better Sex
Definition: The Sybian is a motorized seat used by
women for simulated sex. The Sybian consists of a saddle, which contains an
electric motor connected to a rod that protrudes from a hole in the center of
the saddle. Various attachments, including dildos, butt plugs, and clitoral nubs
can be attached to the rod. The Sybian vibrates (stimulating the clitoris) when
turned on while the attachment rotates (stimulating the g-spot). The intensity
can be increase or decreased using the control box attached to the Sybian.
Tea Bagging:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Tea Bagging is a form of oral sex where a
scrotum is stimulated by the other person’s mouth or tongue. It is
practiced by both heterosexual and homosexual couples. In one variation the male
squats over his partner’s face while his partner licks his ball sack.
Uncut:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Slang for an uncircumcised man. Many
parents who recognize that there is apparently no medical advantage to
circumcision are now choosing not to have their sons circumcised. There is no
evidence to suggest that circumcision has any effect on male sexual functioning
one way or another. Opponents of routine circumcision argue that removing the
foreskin lessens the sexual sensitivity of the glans since it constantly rubs
directly against clothing. There is simply no evidence demonstrating that
circumcision makes a difference to sexual excitement, erection, and the ability
to reach orgasm or the ability to have a pleasing and complete sex life with a
partner.
Vaginismus:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Vaginismus is a purely psychological
condition that occurs in women causing the muscles surrounding the vagina to
close so tightly that they will not allow anything in. Women with vaginismus
believe that they have no control over their vaginal muscles (which is not
true). Vaginismus is due to earlier unresolved sexual traumas, fears, or
anxieties. Psychological and behavioral therapies are helpful for dealing with
this issue.
Withdrawal:
A
Better Sex
Definition: Withdrawal is the removal of the penis
from the vagina before ejaculation occurs. This is NOT an effective
contraceptive method. The pre-ejaculate lubricating fluids contain sperm capable
of fertilization. A condom is recommended for safer sex and contraceptive
practices.
X-rated:
Pynk Definition: Explicit sex acts, mainly used in pornographic movies.
Yoni:
Pynk Definition: An ancient Indian term for vagina, often mentioned in the
term Yoni massage, aka pussy massage.
Zoophilia:
Pynk Definition: Fetish involving sex with animals.
