Discussion Questions
1.
Which of the ladies was your most and least favorite? Have your opinions changed since the last book? And why?
2.
Sometimes, it is hard to overcome the past. Do you feel Cristal's past was the reason she was determined to be more than she was? Do you believe Cristal was ambitious or just greedy?
3.
Do you think Cristal will ever truly find a love that she thinks is worth fighting for?
4.
Does Alizé's relationship with Dr. Locke make you mistrust therapy? If you did discover that your therapist had an extramarital affair, would that make you mistrust his professional advice?
5.
Was Alizé wrong to pursue Cameron the way that she did after she turned down his offer of love in the last book? Would you have done the same thing if you were in her situation?
6.
Do you blame Bones for fighting for full custody after Moët falsely accused him of rape in the last book? If the custody battle had gone to court do you think Moët or Bones would have won?
7.
How do you feel about male virgins or men who abstain from sex before marriage? Would you be able to be in a relationship that did not have a sexual component?
8.
Because of Moët's desire to win custody of her child she considered taking a bribe from a wealthy man to not report his abuse towards his children? Would you even consider doing such a thing?
9.
Do you believe that Alizé should have forgiven Dom? Did Dom do enough to prove she was truly sorry for her actions? Again, do we forgive friends too easily for the sake of “friendship”?
10.
Dom discovered that it was in fact Diane who kept Dom's father away from her? Do you think a woman can be vindictive enough to destroy a father/child relationship because she is angry at the father?
11.
Battling a drug addiction is a lifelong process. Do you believe Dom has the tools in place to stay sober? Do you think she will continue to struggle or go back to stripping? Do you understand women who decide to dance for a living?
12.
Of the two books combined, which one of the girls has shown the least growth? Which one has shown the most growth?
Dear Readers,
Did the ladies show and tell like I said they would? I think so. I enjoyed catching up with these four friends and it's sad to say goodbye to them . . . for now. I started the book thinking this was it for Mo, Dom, Alizé, and Cris but once I typed the last page of the book I knew I couldn't say farewell to them forever. So one day in the future I will revisit these four crazy friends in their late twenties or early thirties and see just what their lives have become. In the meanwhile, I am working on some even crazier stories for you all. I have plenty of tales to tell.
Be good, y'all,
N.
