I woke up the next morning sore as hell. My back was all fucked up and I was tired as shit. I had stayed up most of the night smoking and trying kill the urge to go in Reelle’s room and fuck her. Shorty was sexy as hell, and her little flip ass mouth had my dick hard. Nobody talked to me the way that she did, mostly because they were afraid of losing their lives but with the women it was because they didn't want to miss a chance to get fucked.
Reelle’s feisty ass didn't give a fuck. I had a gun pointed at her and she tried her best shove my ass through her bedroom wall and was talking shit the entire time. Then, to make matters worse, she didn't flinch knowing that I was in the next room. That shit didn't happen. If she had been any other female, before I could lay down good, she would have been riding my dick until the sun came up. Not Ree though, she kept her little ass in her room, door shut, and wasn’t worried about me for one second.
I liked that shit too. It had me really checking for her. Not in a major way, but I needed to see what she was about. I still wasn't trying to wife anyone, but I could see myself kicking it with her a little bit.
I sat up and stretched, trying to repair some of the damage done to my back from sleeping on her shitty ass sofa before I grabbed my phone. I had hella texts, and a few missed calls. Nothing from my brothers though, so I decided to hit Keys up.
“What’s up, Keys?”
“Where the fuck you at? I just left your spot and you out already? I was just about to call you.”
I laughed because he sounded pissed that I wasn't home. “I didn't stay home last night, but I’m good, though.”
“Fuck you mean you didn't stay at home. Where the hell were you? I know you ain't stay with no bitch cause that ain't your shit, Yetti.”
“Mind your damn business, Keys. I just called to check in ‘cause I know you like to do pop ups and shit. I didn't want you shaking up the damn city looking for me.”
I looked up just in time to catch a glimpse of Reelle walk down the hall and into her bedroom. She didn't see me looking at her, which was good because all she had on was tiny ass towel which was wrapped around her body. I assumed that she had just left the bathroom. Her apartment was small as hell, so I could smell the Mango scent following her. It matched the spray that was on her dresser.
“Hell yeah! I do pop ups, nigga. It's my job to make sure you and Hayes are straight. You got a problem with that?”
“Nah, calm the fuck down, nigga, damn! I said I’m good.” Keys was too damn protective sometimes, but I knew it came from love.
“You talked to Hayes yet?”
“Nah, what’s up?”
“Rah still won't come home, and she won't talk to his ass. He’s sitting up in the house all depressed and shit. We need to go by there and check on him.”
“Aight. I have a few things I need to take care of first, but I’ll meet you there in a few hours.”
“Aight cool. I need to go see ’bout this shorty I met the other night, so I’ll hit you when I’m on my way.”
“If you fuck that bitch, wash your ass before you roll through Hayes’ spot.” I laughed at the thought.
“Fuck you! You know I be on my shit. I don't fuck around like that. Fuck outta here with that, Yetti.”
“Yeah aight, just make sure you do.”
“Kiss my ass!”
Keys hung up on me and I scrolled through a few of the messages. Most of the numbers weren't saved, so I didn't know who they were. Just females that wanted to fuck. I had a few regulars that I fucked around with, but I made a point of not showing anyone too much attention because I didn't want anybody to get it confused and think I meant something. I didn't do relationships, so I needed that to be clear. Females had a tendency to think consistency meant commitment, so I stayed away from that.
“I’m ready.” Reelle passed by me and entered her little ass kitchen. She was dressed in a pair of tiny ass white shorts and a navy v-neck that hugged her body. It was sexy as fuck,| but the kind of shit that was going to draw too much attention. She could never be mine, going out dressed like that or I’d be killing niggas left and right.
“You might want to change that shit. You gon’ send the wrong impression wearing that.”
She sucked her teeth and opened the bottle of water that she had gotten out the refrigerator. “And what impression might that be?”
“Shit, I don't know! You look like you wanna fuck wearing that little ass shit you got on. You look good in it, but I bet you'll be ready to take a niggas head off if he looks at you the wrong way.”
“My clothes are fine and I should be able to wear what I want without men disrespecting me.”
I chuckled. “You right lil mama do what the fuck you want. Let me throw some clothes on real quick and then we can go.” I lifted my bag and then walked to her bathroom.
After I shut the door, I took a piss and then washed my hands so that I could get ready. Once I was dressed, I washed my face and brushed my teeth before I put the rest of my stuff in my bag and joined her in the living room again. Reelle was sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed. They were toned as fuck, and looking good as hell. I tried not to stare, but it was hard.
“Let’s roll, shorty. I’ll drive and then bring you back here so that you can get your car.”
“I can drive.”
“Did I say you couldn’t? Damn, why the fuck you gotta fight me on everything, Reelle? Just for once say okay and roll with it. You’re stubborn as fuck.”
“And you need to learn how to talk to people. Let’s just go so that we can get this over with. You don’t like me and I don’t like you. The faster we get your damn phone then you can go away.”
“You need to stop acting like you don't wanna be around me, shorty. I bet your ass was in there playing in your shit last night thinking about me. Pussy just dripping.” I lifted my bag and walked to the door. I held it open for her and she sucked her teeth and passed me. Once I had it shut, she pulled her keys out to lock it, but I stopped her. “I’ll use mine.”
I did that shit just to fuck with her.
“How did you even get a key to my apartment?”
“I know people.” I locked her door and she held her hand out.
“Can I have that please.”
“For what, you got one don't you?” I shoved it in my pocket. I had a feeling that I was gon’ need that. Reelle didn't know it, but she was getting to me.
“Yes, asshole, I have one because I live here. My name is on the lease, but yours isn't so you don't need one. Can I please have my key?”
I kept walking and she followed me. I hit the remote to unlock my doors, walked straight to the passenger side of my G-Wagon, pulled her door and waited. She got in and then I shut it, opening the rear door and tossing my bag in before I slid in the driver's seat.
“Well?”
“Well, what?” I knew she was still talking about the key, but she wasn't getting that shit.
“Can I have my key?”
“No, ’cause it's not yours, it's mine. I paid for it.” Which was true. I paid my people to break into the rental office and get one of the copies they had.
“But my name is on the lease, so no matter who you paid to steal it for you, it belongs to me.”
“How the fuck you know my name isn't on it too?”
“On what, my lease?”
“Yeah, I mean, I got a key right. You don't know who I know or what I’m capable of, so maybe I had them put my name on that shit too.”
“You better not have.” She looked annoyed as fuck, but it was so got damn cute.
“Or what, Reelle? You keep flexing like you got power, baby girl. You can't do shit.”
“You don't know what I can do, so don't assume stuff.”
I chuckled and ignored her. “What do you want to eat?”
“I don't, let's just go get this over with.”
“What I tell you ’bout raising your damn voice at me? My back hurts and I’m hungry as fuck, so let's go eat. You pick or I will, but either way we’re ’bout to go eat.”
“You really are an asshole.”
“Tell me some shit I don't know.” She rolled her eyes and I laughed. I was about to take her to eat and then do whatever else I could to waste time. I needed her with me for a little longer so I that I could figure her out. She was gon’ be mad as hell, but she was mine for the next few hours.

When I finally dropped Reelle back at her place to get her car, she had softened up a little. She was still being difficult as fuck, but I could tell she liked spending time with me, which was a good thing. I planned on checking her out later. A nigga had a key to her spot, so I might as well use it.
Right now I had to go see what was up with my brother. This whole Rah situation needed to be fixed, or this nigga was gon’ lose his mind. Rah and Zora were everything to Hayes. Never in my life had a seen a nigga more faithful than him. In all the years they had been together, he hadn't cheated not once. Not even a little bit, and trust me, it wasn't like he couldn't.
Females were on Hayes 24/7. He had the good guy vibe and females loved that shit. It was something about a faithful man that had females trying to fuck him on the regular. I always thought it was the idea of getting him to break, but Keys said it was just the fact that he was what they wanted for themselves. Crazy shit was if he fucked them, then he wasn't faithful anymore, right?
“Yo, Hayes, where you at, nigga?”
I used my key to get in and walked though his house looking for him. I found his ass sitting in his daughter’s room on her little ass bed looking lost as a muthfucker.
“I miss them, Yetti. This shit is all fucked up,” was the first thing he said when he saw me.
“You tried to call her today?”
“Yeah, she still won't answer. Shit’s pissing me off. I want to see my daughter, and Rah needs to bring her as home so that we can talk about this shit.”
“She will, Hayes. She just needs a minute.”
“Fuck a minute. We’re supposed to be in this shit together. That’s how we work. When we have issues, we work that shit out together. I know this don't have nothing to do with Rah, but everything to do with her trifling ass sister being in her head talking shit about me. How the fuck she gon’ listen to a bitter ass bitch that hates on me cause I won't fuck her?”
I laughed because my brother was mad as fuck, but I felt this pain. Rah’s sister was trifling as fuck. She tried to suck Hayes’ dick the day that Rah was in labor with Zora. When he wouldn't, she lied and told Rah that he was the one trying to make that shit happen. She was fucked in the head and obsessed with Hayes. In fact, when Hayes met Rah, it was only because her sister was trying to get with him, but the second he laid eyes on Rah, it was a wrap.
“Why the fuck y'all sitting in here?” Keys leaned against the doorframe with his arms folded looking at us. I could see the stressed look in his face after he noticed how Hayes was doing.
“Cause I miss my got damn daughter.”
“So what you wanna do, Hayes? We can go get her if you want, but then what? You gotta have your got damn head right so she’ll wanna stay.”
Keys looked at me and I could tell we were on the same page. If we really wanted to roll up in Jaryah’s spot we could, but I needed Hayes to be sure.
“My head ain't gon’ be right until I get them home, so let's go do that shit.” He stood and pushed past Keys, moving through his house.
I ran both my hands over my head and then down my face. “You put this shit in motion, so let's go.”
Keys was next to move, and I was right behind him.
About thirty minutes later, we pulled up at Jaryah’s house and the truck that Hayes bought for Rah’s birthday was in the driveway along with her sister’s broke down Altima. We were in my shit with Keys up front and Hayes in the back, so he jumped out and was moving to the door with the quickness.
“Shit, let's go. This nigga’s on one,” Keys said, pulling the door to follow Hayes who was beating on the door already.
“Fuck you want?” she asked when she pulled the door open and glared at the three of us. “She doesn't want to talk to you.”
“Get the fuck outta my way or I’ll knock your ass out. I’m not in the mood to be playing with your dumb ass today.”
“I wish you would. I’ll call the damn cops on you if you lay one finger on me.
“Daddy, I wanna go home,” I heard my niece say from behind the door.
Jaryah reached back and then I heard Zora cry.
Hayes lost it. “Did you just put your hands on my daughter? Fuck wrong with you?” He pushed the door open, damn near knocking Jaryah down and scooped Zora up in his arms.
I pulled my gun and aimed it at Jaryah’s head because she had her phone in her hand like she was about to make a call. “Don’t be stupid. This shit can go all kind of wrong and it ain’t about you. Mind your business and let them figure their shit out.”
“Keys take her to the car,” Hayes said, handing Zora over to Keys.
She jumped in his arms and hugged his neck. Keys kissed her on the cheek and held her small body against his as he headed to the car.
“What’s going on in here? Yetti, put that gun down! Why you got a gun aimed at my sister?”
