Elion’s blushing face peeked over Stavros’ shoulder and the two hesitantly separated. “You’re such a trouble maker,” he muttered.
Stavros snorted. “Me? You’re the one that…”
Mikhail watched, acclimated to their behavior, as Stavros and Elion headed for the exit, hands flying to accentuate their argument, their voices growing louder by the moment.
“How have they not been separated yet?” Office Teryn asked, disbelief written on her furrowed brow.
Mikhail chuckled, watching as Elion’s cheeks flushed and grin returned when Stavros caught his hand and brought it to his lips before the two disappeared into the night. “I don’t think there’s enough magic in existence for that.”
