Steven: A Billionaire Stepbrother Romance Novel (8 page)

I bit my bottom lip and relaxed my head against the bed, as I parted my legs slightly for him. Steven brought his hand to my pussy and instantly, a burst of pleasure shot through my body.

“Oh, God...” I whispered.

Steven breathed in quickly through his teeth, as he slipped one of his fingers inside of me. Immediately after, he dropped his head down. I felt his beard, as he moved his face along the inside of my thighs, making his way toward my crotch. A moment later, he had his mouth on my clit.

“Yes...” I groaned, as the pleasure inside of me deepened.

Steven began fingering me, slowly at first and then with increasing speed. At the same time, he pleasured my clit by drawing circles around it with his tongue. The double pleasure felt incredible and I found myself unable to hold back my moans.

“Oh, God, Steven,” I said, my voice getting louder.

I had to be quiet, though. Our parents were at the end of the hallway, only a couple of doors down. In an effort to muffle my moans of pleasure, I grabbed a pillow that was next to me and held it over my mouth.

“Mmm, hmm,” I moaned into the pillow, as Steven began slipping his finger up inside of me even faster.

As he did, I began to buck my hips slightly upward toward him to increase the friction. The waves of sensation got bigger, each one bringing me closer to orgasm. I pulled the pillow away from my mouth just long enough to give Steven a command.

“Don’t stop, baby.”

Steven let out a sexual growl, the vibration from his throat transferring directly into my clit and creating a unique, but pleasurable, sensation. Then he stopped running circles around my clit and instead began flicking it quickly with his tongue. The new sensation felt even better and I cried out into the pillow, “I’m coming. Oh, God...I’m coming.”

Steven kept pace and I felt my pussy begin to contract around his finger. I closed my eyes and felt as my back began to arch. My chest pushed upward into the air as my entire body became soaked with pleasure, each cell exploding with ecstasy.

Yes...

Suddenly, my jaw dropped and my entire body tensed. For a moment, no sound escaped my lips. My face was locked in a state of ecstasy, frozen with pleasure. The only sound in the room was Steven’s tongue, lapping against my flower. My legs tensed around his head, squeezing him between my thighs.

Pleasured filled every inch of me, taking me to a height of orgasm that I had not been to before. I breathed in quickly, as the final wave of ecstasy pumped through my body. Then, after another second of tensing my thighs around Steven’s head, I collapsed onto the bed.

Steven moaned into my pussy and then slowly pulled his face away. I took a few deep breaths, in an attempt to compose myself after the orgasm. It was the most intense climax I had ever experienced.

“Steven...” I said, my body still in shock. “That was...incredible.”

Steven licked his lips and a smile flashed across his face. I watched as he crawled to his knees. The bulge in his crotch had grown in size and I could see the outline of his cock as it pressed against the thin material of his underwear.

“Take those off,” I said. “I want all of you.”

Steven did as I asked, and brought his hands to the elastic waistband of his underwear. He was just about to slide them down and release his fully erect shaft, when we heard a soft knock on the bedroom door.

“Kelsey, is everything okay in there? I heard some noise.”

Oh, no.

It was my mother, standing on the other side of the bedroom door.

“Steven, you have to hide,” I whispered, in a panic.

Steven’s eyes got wide, as he jumped off of the bed. He glanced around quickly, looking for a place to hide.

My mother immediately knocked again and I watched as the doorknob began to turn. Steven was completely panicked, desperately looking around. Finally, he glanced back at the bed and in one swift movement he ran and slid underneath it, hiding himself from view. A second later, and my bedroom door pushed open, my mom standing in the doorway.

“Everything okay, honey?” my mom asked.

I covered my naked body up with a blanket. My face was surely bright red from embarrassment, but luckily it was dark in the room so my mom wouldn’t have been able to notice.

“Yeah, Mom,” I responded. “What’s going on? You woke me up.”

I had to lie. I didn’t have much of a choice.

My mom walked over to my bed and sat down on the edge.

“Sorry to wake you, Kelsey,” she said. “I was just going downstairs to get a glass of water when I heard some commotion coming from your room.”

Oh, God. Please tell me that she didn’t hear any of the details.

I covered my chest up with a pillow and sat up in the bed. Steven was silently hiding underneath the bed, unbeknownst to my mom.

“I guess maybe I was having a dream or something,” I said. “Maybe I was talking in my sleep.”

My mom looked over at me and then placed her hand on my knee, squeezing it affectionately.

“Yeah, you used to talk in your sleep when you were younger,” she said. “That’s probably all it was.”

Then she stood up from my bed and began walking toward the door.

“Well, I’m sorry to wake you up, honey,” she said. “I’ll let you get back to sleep.”

I faked a yawn and then responded, “Sounds good. Goodnight, Mom.”

My mom stepped back out into the hallway and closed the door behind her. I listened as she made her way downstairs and into the kitchen.

“Oh, my gosh...” I whispered, as I dropped my head over the edge of the bed.

I nearly started laughing when I saw Steven under there. His muscular frame barely fit. He looked over at me, his body pressed between the floor and the bottom of the bed.

“That was so close,” he whispered.

I nodded my head.

“That would have been a tough one to explain...” I responded, chuckling softly. “I don’t know what our excuse would have been.”

Steven smiled and then crawled out from underneath the bed.

“You know, one of these days, we should really consider telling her about us,” he said, as he sat next to me. “It would have probably made this situation a little less panic stricken if she had known.”

I laughed and put my arm around his waist, pulling him next to me.

“Yeah, but what fun would that have been?” I asked, as I leaned in, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Steven nodded his head and then shrugged his shoulders.

“I suppose that’s a good point,” he said.

Then he paused for a moment, taking a deep breath to calm himself down.

“Now, where were we?” he asked, as he turned toward me once again.

I hit his shoulder playfully.

“Steven!” I said. “We have to be
good
now. My mom is awake and she could walk by the door at any moment.”

Steven playfully pouted out his lower lip, and then leaned in to kiss me on the cheek.

“I guess you’re right,” he said. “Well...I’ll see you in the morning then?”

I nodded my head and smiled, then placed my hand on the back of his head, pulling him in for a deep kiss on the lips. Then I slowly pulled away, looking him in the eyes.

“Sounds good,” I said. “Don’t let my mom catch you on the way to your bedroom.”

Butterflies flew inside of me as I looked at him. I wished so badly that we could have finished having sex, but more than that, I wished that he could have spent the night in the same bed as me, holding me close and keeping me safe. I sighed, as I looked him over, knowing that something was going to have to change if I ever wanted to have that kind of relationship with him. Eventually, our parents needed to know what was going on.

“Goodnight,” Steven whispered, before standing up from the bed and tiptoeing across the room.

He quietly opened the door and then poked his head out, making sure the coast was clear of my mother. Then he stepped out, closing the door behind him and making his way back to his room.

I rolled over and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep. My dreams were filled with a life with Steven where our love didn’t have to be kept a secret.

Chapter 11

––––––––

T
he next morning at work, all that I could think about was Steven. My job as an office assistant kept me pretty busy, but it wasn’t enough to keep me distracted from the thoughts of him. He made me smile inside and every time he crossed my mind, I felt butterflies in my stomach. It was the most legitimate crush I had ever had in my life and I wondered at what point I would be able to call it love.

As I sat at my desk I began to ponder where things were headed with Steven and I. How long could we live a lie? Forever? I’d be willing to live a lie forever if that’s what it took, but I knew that it wouldn’t make for the healthiest of relationships. But still, a part of me began to wonder if a relationship that started as a secret had to remain a secret, in order to keep from falling apart. I worried that if people knew about Steven and I, then it would completely change the dynamic between us.

I sighed, as I fumbled through my long list of work emails, my mind focused on everything else besides work. Suddenly, I felt my cell phone vibrate in the front pocket of my work slacks, shaking me from my daydreaming.

I pulled it out and looked at the screen, where I saw a text from my mom. It read: “
Hey, honey. Do you want to get lunch in a few minutes? It’s on me. I’m craving sushi.”

A smile crossed my face and my eyes lit up. I
loved
sushi and there was no way that I could turn down an offer like that. So I quickly responded with an excited text that read, “
Yes! I’ll see you there. I’ll leave now!”

Then I stood up from my desk. It was almost noon, so I decided to duck out of the office before one of my coworkers invited me to go somewhere for lunch. I grabbed my purse and my car keys and headed down the hallway, making my way out to the parking lot.

My mom didn’t even need to tell me which sushi place she wanted to meet me at. I already knew. There was a small sushi restaurant just a mile from where I worked. We used to go there every week when I was in high school.

I hopped in my car and made the short drive over there. When I pulled up, I saw my mom’s car already in the parking lot. I parked in the open spot next to her car and got out, excited for the opportunity to take my mind off of Steven for a little while.

After stepping out of the car and checking out my hair in the reflection of the window, I made my way toward the front door of the restaurant. As soon as I opened the glass door, a hostess greeted me.

“Lunch for one?” she asked.

I smiled and shook my head.

“No, I’m actually meeting someone here,” I responded.

The young hostess smiled and then said, “No problem. The seating is behind me and if whoever you’re meeting isn’t there, you can check the bar or our outdoor patio.”

I smiled in return and then said, “Thank you very much,” as I stepped past her.

It was nice outside that day, and if I knew my mom, she would have picked a table outside on the patio. She wasn’t one to waste an afternoon of warm sunshine. So I stepped through the restaurant, looking through the large glass windows that stood between the patio and myself. Immediately, I saw my mother, who was holding up a menu in front of her face.

“Ah, there she is,” I said, quietly.

I took a few more steps and then my head cocked to the side immediately, as my eyes landed upon a man who I had never seen before. He was seated directly across from my mom.

Who’s that?

It was strange to see my mom at the restaurant with someone else. That particular sushi place was our secret spot and we never invited anybody else along.

I shrugged my shoulders, assuming it must have been someone whom she worked with. Then I stepped out onto the patio. My mom set her menu down as soon as she noticed me.

“There’s my girl!” she called out, louder than necessary.

I blushed immediately, just like I always did when my mom put the spotlight on me in front of a bunch of strangers. I walked across the patio, to where my mom and the man were seated.

“How are you, sweetie?” my mom asked, as she stood up from her chair and pulled me in for a hug.

“I’m good, Mom,” I said. “How are you?”

My mom pulled away from our hug, her smile suspiciously wider than usual.

“I’m just fine,” she said. “Honey, I’d like you to meet Allen.”

The man who was seated at the table was in the middle of taking a drink of water when my mom said his name, calling his attention to us. He turned toward me and then stood up from his chair, holding out his hand for a handshake.

“Hi there,” he said. “Kelsey, is it?”

I nodded my head as I shook his hand and then looked back at my mom. She just smiled, though, and motioned for me to sit down. I took a seat at the side of the table, situated between my mom and Allen. He looked to be about my age, maybe a little bit older. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a white collared shirt underneath. His blonde hair fell loosely across his forehead and he had an awkward smile on his face. It appeared as though he was nervous to be there or something.

“So...” I said, trying to kill the silence that had fallen around us. “Do you guys work together or something?”

I looked to my mom, who was nodding eagerly with her typical excitement.

“Yes, honey,” she said. “We do work together. Allen just got hired on the other day. I thought it would be good for him to get out of the office and go to lunch. Plus, I also thought it would be nice for you two to meet.”

I glared at my mom, suddenly figuring out exactly why Allen was there. She was trying to hook me up with him.

“Mom,” I said, under my breath. “You know I’m not trying to date anyone right now. I’m
so
busy with work.”

It wasn’t true, but she didn’t know about Steven and I, and lunch with her new work colleague didn’t seem like the right time to tell her about it either.

My mom looked at me with disappointment on her face. I then turned to Allen, placing my hand on his forearm.

“It’s nothing against you,” I said. “Just not sure I want to date someone at the moment.”
