Surrender: The Greek Affair Series Book One (19 page)

“This is sexual heroin.”

He looks into her eyes, “so tell me what did you think about while you were away from me?”

“That you’re special.”

“And?” All the while moving slowly inside her, keeping them connected and aroused, kissing her face and her lips while they talk and make love.

“I can only give you what I have left over of love and I’m afraid it’s not much.”

“I’ll take anything you have.”

“It’s not fair for you.”

“Let me be the judge of that. Can you at least tell me how much you can give me?”

“You know that my son will always come above anyone or anything else.”

“I would not expect anything else from you.”

“I will at some stage go back to Australia.”

“Ok.” And he pauses, looks at her, and places his mouth firmly on her mouth, he moves his body slightly more over her, taking him deeper into her.

“Is that all you have to say, an ‘ok’?”

“At this stage, yes. Unless you’re leaving today or tomorrow.”

“No, I’m not sure yet, but soon, and the easiest way to take you with me is marriage.”

He pulls his head back and looks at her.

She looks at him and says, “And we both know that can never happen.”

“You don’t have to make an honest man out of me, I can manage on my own. I can follow you around the world, as long as you want me to, if you need me near you, because I will always need you! All I need is to work, so I can look after you.”

He holds her tight and she can feel him getting rock hard inside her. Hope is overwhelmed with the notion that someone wants to look after her. No one ever has before. Jason has put her first!

“Just hold me and make love to me please.” Her eyes fill with tears and she buries her face in his chest.

“Don’t
morό mou
, (my baby) don’t cry. We’ll figure things out, as we go along. On my part I’ll never let you go, even if you send me away, I will still fight for you.”

“I can’t give you the family that you might want one day, Jason. I don’t want to be a mother of babies again. I was a baby when I had a baby. I just can’t go there again.”

“You think that I want a baby breeding machine? I want you and whatever comes with the love I have for you.”

“But I can’t live with the knowledge that I would be denying you what should rightfully be yours.”

“Nothing is rightfully ours in this life, my love. Nothing belongs to us outright. We take what we have and run with it, and I want to run with what you and I have together, because its ours. This is ours, me inside you, talking like this, having orgasms when we feel like it, listening to our music and loving each other. Yes, most of all, loving and caring about each other.”

“Who made you so wise? I wish I was as wise as you. I can accept what you are saying intellectually, but my heart tells me you deserve the full package.”

“You ARE the full package,
agápi mou
(my love). I could not be more blessed with you my in life, believe me.”

Hope locks her lips on to his and seeks his tongue, pulling him to move on top of her and she begins to rock her hips into his cock, and he knows the conversation is over. He gets up on his knees and pulls her hips upward to grind into that sensitive spot inside, pushing her slightly upwards on the bed so she can see his full throttle inside her, while looking into her face.

“Look at us baby. This is ours. It is yours. I’m yours. This only belongs to us, and your body is made exclusively for me. Look at me Hope, and come for me, only me. I want to watch you as you fall apart for me.”

And as she watches his cock moving inside her, her brain presses the enter key and she sees the most erotic thing she has ever experienced. She begins to come, looking into his eyes and starts mumbling his name as softly as she can, so the neighbours can’t hear… “Iáson, Iáson.” (in Greek as he likes it).

And as she runs out of orgasms, they look at each other and they both know at this moment as he starts to release himself inside her, that this is a once in a lifetime love, no matter what happens in the end!

They lie in each other’s arms for a while. She looks at the clock.

“I think that Pétro and Alex might be expecting a phone call. Sweetie, I think I want to stay home. You give them a ring and go out for a while.”

“Are you ok? What’s wrong?”

“Nothing serious. I’m expecting my period any moment now, and I hope it comes. I feel tired and washed out and I prefer to have an early night if you don’t mind.”

‘Wow, wow, wind back, what do you mean if it comes?’

“Oh nothing really. I have been a little careless with my pill taking, with all the late nights and sleeping strange hours, but I took them every day, just a little untidily.”

“I can stay in with you. I don’t have to go out.”

“It’s a hot and beautiful night, it’s your time off. Go. Just go and have a drink and a break from me and my problems.”

“Your problems can be my problems too,
psyhí mou
, (my soul) never doubt that. I want it all with you, the good, the bad and the ugly.”

“Go out, I’ll feel better.”

He gets up and goes to the shower and soon he is dressed. He rings Pétro, they talk, and he comes over to Hope, kisses her on the forehead, holds her cheek in his palm and she turns her lips to his hand and kisses him.

“Ring me if you need anything, Ok?”

“I’m fine. I just need a good night’s sleep and by the way, be quiet when you come in, and hey,…..behave!”

“Love you.” He whispers as he leaves with a cheeky grin

***

She feels his arms spooning her, he pulls her into him, and she turns in her sleep and rests her face on his chest and mumbles,

“You’re back already.”

He kisses her forehead, “Already! It’s almost morning. Sleep baby.” She mmmhhhhhs into his chest and sleeps.

She’s woken up rudely with excruciating pain in her belly, and the feel of something wet and warm on her thighs, she throws the sheet off herself and looks in horror, as she’s bleeding all over the bed.

There is blood on the sheets, on her legs and everywhere else from her waist down, and she’s in a lot of pain. She has cramps she’s not familiar with outside of giving birth, and she groans from the pain. Hope jumps out of bed and runs to the bathroom, doubled over. Jason wakes up and is greeted by the bloody bed covers and Hope’s moaning and running to get to the bathroom. He jumps out of bed and follows her,

Moro mou (my baby)
, talk to me. What happened?”

She’s crying from the pain while throwing off her skimpy summer nightdress and throws herself in the shower. “I think I’m haemorrhaging.”

She’s crying because of the pain and also from the shock. This does not happen to her. She never has cramps during her period, and what is all this blood?

Chapter Sixteen

“I’ll get dressed and get you to the hospital.” He goes over to her, takes the washcloth and proceeds to wash between her legs washing away the bleeding. Even in her pain she thinks how wonderful this man is, and how lucky the woman will be who will end up spending her life with him, and once again he overwhelms her.

Jason helps Hope to dress and she shows him how to cover her bleeding body. He dresses quickly while she moans from pain. He throws his clothes on and comes back to her. He lifts her up in his strong arms and carries her out to the car, ever so gently The ride to the hospital is less then ten minutes away.

She’s taken immediately into an examination room, and a doctor is there in a matter of moments. Her pain has subsided and as the doctor asks about the bleeding, it has also by now subsided to a normal period all in a matter of one-hour from start to this point. She’s advised to go home and rest and that it was just a freak period contraction, creating excessive bleeding, pain and for her, terror.

Jason wants to carry her out but she won’t allow it. She’s not in pain anymore and nor is she bleeding out of control, so she needs to be on her feet. He holds her tight and they go to the car.

“How do you feel?”

“I feel fine, just washed out and very, very tired. I just want to lie down for now.”

They go home and he changes the bed linen, makes the bed and puts her to bed. He lies next to her, pulling her to his arms, and she lies next to him, tired but free from any pain and now she is just beginning to understand that someone actually cares for her enough to make her realise what love is truly like. The pain is now in her heart, for what she wished she should be allowed to have, Jason. She wants him in her life but she can’t have him. She feels that he does not belong to her. But she lies there and smells his body, feels his love and tries not to think of tomorrow.

“What time did you get home?”

“Not sure, I think it was about four.”

“What did you do?”

“I met up with Petro and Alex earlier on and then I caught up with some mates and we sat around and talked.”

“Sleep with me. Hold me.”

He holds her and they sleep together for most of the morning until her phone rings. She picks it up and hears Pétro’s voice but she has no energy to talk.

“Just a moment,” and gives the phone to Jason. She hears the conversation one-sided, with Jason going over the events of the morning.

“Can Pétro come over to see you?” She opens her eyes just barely and replies,

“Can I sleep for now? Later this afternoon.” He passes on her wishes and hangs up.

“Why don’t you go with them?’

“No I’ll stay here with you for today.”

She lifts her face up to his. “I’m fine now, all I need is sleep.”

“All the same, allow me to stay.”

“Ok.” And she nuzzles up again to his body and his smell.

Hope wakes up and Jason is not in bed. She looks at the time. It’s after 2 pm. She gets up, peeps out of the bedroom, looking around and she finds him in the kitchen, cooking. He looks at her,

“Hi,” it’s all she can say and goes to the bathroom to see to business. She returns to him in the kitchen, looks over his shoulder and hugs his waist. “Whatchya doin?”

“Hungry?”

“I could eat something.”

“None of that ‘something’ young lady, you will eat or I will force feed you.” He turns his head and kisses her forehead.

“The boys are coming over for lunch.”

“Oh, ok then, I’ll go and shower and put on some clothes.”

The four of them are sitting around the small dining table looking into a scrumptious meal of the local hand made pasta with a sauce of fresh tomatoes and prawns and a fresh organic salad, along with the unique local wine. She feels so blessed to have good friends and share with them and she wishes it could always be like this. They clink glasses and toast to each other’s health.

“Stin ygiá sou”
(To your health).” All are drinking to her health today and Pétro bends, kisses her on the cheek and she kisses him back. The afternoon is spent, eating, talking and drinking. Hope is tired again and needs to rest.

“Hang out guys, I’m going to have a lie down.” And she moves to the bedroom and closes the door. In a fraction of a minute Jason follows.
“Agápi mou, (my love)
are you ok? Shall I tell them to go?”

“No, no, they can stay and I just need to rest. I’ve lost a lot of blood and my body is tired. Besides, I drank a glass of wine and you know I’m a wimp with alcohol. I don’t want to sleep, just to lie down.”

He bends over and kisses her on the forehead. Time passes, she snoozes without deep sleep and at some stage she feels him spooning her.

“How do you feel?” she turns in his arms and looks into his beautiful face, a face that has so much compassion for her it rocks her world, her private space, a space she needs to keep under control, and at this moment she is losing that battle of control.

“I’m ok, just needed a day of doing this, resting. All is well. How are you? Why aren’t you out and about?”

“Are you going to stop telling me where I should be? I’m here with you, where I want to be.”

“I’m ok.”

“I know you’re ok, but I belong here with you, not ‘out and about’ as you say.”

“Ok, I give in, stay with me if you wish, but I have no idea why.”

“Are we back on that old thing again? I thought we had gotten past it. I’m where I want to be and where I belong - with you.”

Yes she had gone back into that insecure part of herself, that part of her that believes it does not deserve to be loved and if love did happen it was going to go away, therefore proving once again she was not worthy of it. A life time of parents that were too busy getting married and re-married, throwing her around to who ever was available to look after her at the time, and a husband who was much to self absorbed to be in any kind of a relationship let alone a marriage.

Rest sweetheart, I’ll read for bit, maybe watch some TV. I’ll be here if you need me, so sleep.” He held her for a while longer and that night she slept soundly for the first time in a while.

She woke up in the early hours of the morning feeling very rested. She looks at the hand that was over her holding her breast and the leg that was over her belly both claiming her and she wished she could claim back. She looks at his face, the long lashes fanning his upper cheeks, his full sculptured mouth, (just a fraction open) and breathing, in slumber. Every time she looks at him she always wonders how long she still has left with him and again, she pushes the thought away and ravishes him with her eyes instead. He stirs and hugs her breast tighter, moving his body closer and he speaks with his eyes still shut.
