Surrender to Fire: Maison Chronicles, Book 3 (20 page)

She ducked her head. “It wasn’t a big deal. Shawn just didn’t have a whole lot of patience at the beginning.”

Not very convincing, but not as bad as he thought. “It this something you’d like to try?”

“If it feels that good?” She nodded, her hair falling forward to hide her face in thick, wet locks.

They’d have to go slowly, but he was okay with that. He needed to show her how good anal play could be. “Okay, sweetheart. We’ll play later. Now, let’s just shower.”

He washed her hair, trying to ignore the way she moaned when he rubbed her scalp. She surprised him by returning the favor, sending tingles across his whole body, both from her talented fingers and the caring gesture.

Bar of French-milled soap in hand, he washed her from head to toe, paying particular attention to her breasts and between her legs. With one soapy finger, he ringed her asshole, watching her pupils dilate and mouth go soft as she pressed into his touch.

When he handed her the bar of soap and spread his arms wide, she stared at him in disbelief. “That’s it?”

“I’m going to torture you with that a bit, I think,” he teased. “Now wash me, woman!”

Insubordinate look on her face, she cleaned him with jerky movements, washing him thoroughly if not vigorously. Then she dropped to her knees and cupped his balls in her hand. “Need to make sure you’re extra clean here.” She soaped up her hands, giving him a perfect view down his body. Her lips rested inches from his dick, her body kneeling on the tile floor like a virgin offering.

Soap-slick hands stroked him up and down, then massaged his balls until they were tight against his body. He leaned back into the spray and let her lead for the moment as water sluiced down his body to rinse him clean. He reached down a hand to help her back up, but her mouth engulfed his erection instead. “Fuck!” He reached a hand back to steady himself against the wall.

Camille sucked him deep into her mouth, the tip brushing against the back of her throat. He groaned, fighting the urge to thrust. Somehow, he let her control the pace, despite her teasing. Deep sucks, then dainty little licks around the head, tugging downward on his balls, then sucking one, the other, into her mouth.

“Tease,” he growled, wanting to come, even as he wanted her masterful blow job to last forever.

His control slipped when she took him deep again and his fingers gripped her wet hair. She removed her hands from his body, locked them behind her back, then looked up at him, mouth full.

God, had he ever seen anything so erotic? Her eyes, half-closed with enjoyment, her hot tongue flicking against the underside of his shaft. He tested her, shoving himself another inch into her. She rewarded him with an eager moan…and that was it. One hand in her hair, the other cupping her chin, he stroked in and out of her mouth while her little moans vibrated up his cock.

“I’m going to come, sweetheart,” he groaned. Lightning zipped from his balls, up his shaft and into the rest of his body as the first jet of come hit the back of her throat. He pulled out, coming against her chest and tits. Marking her. He almost shouted
Mine
, but bit his lip instead.

He was almost afraid to see her reaction to such a base claiming, but he couldn’t apologize for it. Steadying her with one hand, Damien helped her rise. His heart jerked when she looked up at him, cheeks flushed, lips swollen, eyes alive and filled with lust. “Thank you, Sir,” she said, running a finger through the trail of come that had hit her nipple.

Though he almost didn’t want to wash her again, he did, removing all traces of him from her body. “You’re welcome, sweetheart, though I should be thanking you.”

She gave him an impish smile. “I’m sure you’ll do that later, Sir.”

He grinned, then rinsed her off. “Count on it.”

Somehow they’d managed to actually pack, check out and drive all the way to Maison Domine, despite the ample physical distractions. They even made good time. Cam was sore between her legs, but she’d never had this much sex, either. She’d never had this kind of sex drive before.

Damn, it was fun. Another day of this and she might have Damien Winter out of her system. Which was exactly what she needed. Right? Sure, they could still demo together, but after Shawn—after yesterday—she didn’t need another relationship to go sideways. And as passionate and intense as Damien was, the risk was high.

Besides, she wasn’t sure she could completely trust her judgment. She’d been so sure of herself, before Indigo, before Shawn. Now? Well, she would bet that Damien was a good guy. Relationship material? She didn’t know, and it shouldn’t matter.

She was grateful to him for restoring some of her confidence as a submissive and as a woman, and she enjoyed helping him out. But that’s where it ended.

Maybe if she got that tattooed up and down her arms, she’d actually remember. Especially in the face of sex like they’d had that morning. Sweet, tender and oh-so dangerous.

After an almost-three-hour drive and less than a full night’s sleep, she’d expected to be exhausted, but she wasn’t. Instead, she was on edge. Each minute counting down to the next demo dragged by like she was living in a time stream that moved more quickly than the rest of the world around her.

Maybe she’d read one too many sci-fi manuscripts from the slush pile. Or watched too much
Doctor Who
.

When they arrived, Kat greeted them at the entrance, handed over the keys to the cabin and left them with a knowing wink.

Cam blushed. Could she hide nothing from that woman?

Damien unloaded their bags and took them into in the cabin, insisting she sit and relax instead of helping, then joined her on the couch. The heat from his body, the faint smell of his shampoo, evoked erotic memories of the last time she’d found herself here.

Damien’s smirk bribed a weak smile from her. He knew exactly what she was thinking. Why did that embarrass her
and
turn her on? She was used to so much mental privacy. Shawn hadn’t been the most insightful Dom and Cam had taken advantage of that, holding herself apart from him. With Damien, that wasn’t an option. With one look, she was bared to him. And while that left her vulnerable, it had also resulted in some of the hottest sex, the wildest play, she’d had in a long time.

“Sweetheart, let’s go over today’s scene. It’s a new one, or it’s slated to be. I’m sorry we haven’t had a chance to talk more about it.” He took her hand, stroking his thumbnail along her sensitive palm. Her whole body lit up, waiting for his next command.

She took a deep breath, making sure her reply would be steady. He knew how much he affected her—she didn’t need to play further into his ego. “As long as it’s light on the pain, I think I’ll be all right.”

“No pain. This is a mindfuck scene. Sensory deprivation mostly. It can get really…intense.”

“Okay.” That made her a little wary. But she trusted him. More importantly, she also trusted Kat to be there, watching and ready to step in if something went awry. That meant more, at that point, than her own faith in Damien. “What kinds of toys will you be using?”

He stared into her eyes. “I’m not sure yet. Whatever pushes your buttons. It’s going to be a lot of talk and you’ll be bound, blindfolded. Are you okay being gagged?”

Cam considered it and a flare of arousal kicked in her womb. She’d be practically helpless. Trussed up like a sacrificial lamb, only able to take what Damien gave her. The intensity of her reaction alarmed her, but not enough to say no. “How would I safe-word?”

His smile praised her question. “You’ll have a jingle bell in hand. When you drop it, I pause the scene, undo your gag and check in with you.”

Well, that allayed some of her fears. “I think I’ll be okay with that.”

He stared at her. “I’ve been easy on you the past few days, sub. You’ve obviously forgotten your place.”

Her mind sank like a stone and she dropped to her knees on the carpet, barely aware of what he was doing, it felt so ingrained. “I’ll be okay with that, Sir.”

Damien stroked her hair and she almost purred. From a distance, the sane, logical part of her mind wondered how she could feel more submission to this man after one week than she had for Shawn after more than a year. She shuddered with the visceral simplicity of that answer. Shawn hadn’t deserved it.

“What’s wrong, love?” Damien tilted up her head and she didn’t dare look away. His kind hazel eyes took in every inch of her face, searching for her troubles. The soft-green button-up he wore made his eyes seem even more vivid, more powerful.

“Shawn, Sir. When you saw him… He wasn’t like that before.” Tears welled in her eyes. Had she done that to him by checking out of their relationship? He’d never been the kindest or most thoughtful Dom, but the collapse of their relationship seemed to have triggered something foul and bitter in him.

Damien lifted her into his arms, against his chest. “I don’t know why he snapped.” His voice rumbled into her ear in a soothing wave. He held her close, sheltering her from the world for just a moment.

Despair overwhelmed her. “I trusted him,” she rasped. “How can I trust my judgment now?”

One of his large, warm hands rubbed circles on her back. “I don’t know, sweetheart. Slowly.”

“I trust you, though. But I don’t know if I can trust myself on that.” The admission came forth, unguarded. As soon as she said it, he froze. She wished she could take back the words. They were too honest. Too raw.

Instead of shying away or clamming up, as she expected him to, Damien hauled her closer. “Thank you, Camille. You honor me.” He kissed her forehead, then tipped her back to the couch and covered her mouth with his.

For the long minutes of his kiss, she forgot everything else. Her worries slipped aside to make room for the passion he stirred in her.

“Make me forget, Sir,” she whispered, not wanting to let her real life interfere with her last day with Damien. He hadn’t said anything about working with her—or seeing her or fucking her or dating her—beyond today.

“I think that can be arranged.” His tall body sprawled next to hers on the deep couch, infusing her with his solid strength. “Let me give you a taste of today’s demo. If you don’t respond well, we’ll do more temperature play. I told Kat that might happen.”

Cam nodded, grateful for the trickle of anticipation that distracted her from anything outside the walls of the cabin. She’d focus on today. Tomorrow would come soon enough.

Chapter Fifteen

A short while later, Cam found herself sitting blindfolded on the bed, arms bound behind her back. Damien had said he’d be right back. She didn’t know how long that had been, though she could hear him moving in the main room. The first minutes had been torturous. She’d perked up at every noise, even as vulnerable goose bumps crawled across her skin. Just as she’d calmed, listening to his soft fiddling noises, the front door had opened and closed and she couldn’t hear enough to determine whether he was still there. Or whether someone else had arrived.

Her calm shattered. What if he’d left her? What if he’d brought someone over to watch her? To touch her?

Sizzles of heat shot through her veins. Two men touching her… She wouldn’t be able to tell whose hands were whose. Whether Damien or a stranger felt her wetness, sucked on her nipples. She tightened her knees closed, putting pressure against her aching core. Having the whole audience watch her had been a singular high. But a random person touching her…?

Cam’s nipples tightened in the cool air and she almost imagined someone had sucked them into his mouth. A quiet moan shook her from her fantasy. She recalled herself to alertness, straining to hear anything from Damien. He’d told her to call out for him if she needed to, but that seemed like such a disappointment. She would wait for him. Just a little longer.

Her patience paid off. She taunted herself with flashes of possibilities alternating with alertness until she heard muted footsteps enter the room. Biting her lip to remain silent, she waited, her heart sprinting miles ahead. Was it even Damien?

Two hands landed on her breasts and she jumped. She was almost certain those were Damien’s hands, but she couldn’t be sure. They were everywhere at once, no more than two hands touching her at once—she thought—but she couldn’t be sure. Reality seeped away, leaving only a string of sensations she couldn’t quite make sense of. Still no words, not a sound to study. She caught whiffs of some kind of masculine cologne, but couldn’t be sure if it was Damien’s.

Two hands on her back pushed her down onto the bed, over a stack of pillows that had been arranged there. An unmistakably male body draped along her back and she began to panic. What if this wasn’t Damien? What if he’d stepped out and this was a stranger? Shawn could have followed her here.

Her whimper broke the silence and she began to struggle against the weight on her back.

“Shhh, sweetheart. I’ve got you.” At Damien’s voice, she slumped against the pillows, letting her body arch upward into his. All tension flowed from her limbs and she waited for his next move while cool air flowed across her wet pussy and his rough clothing rubbed against her bare skin.

“Tell me what worried you.” His low voice gently demanded a response.

“The door opened, then you touched me, but I didn’t know if it was you or another man, or you and someone else, and I wasn’t sure if it was you at all or maybe Shawn had followed us and crept in.” She knew her ramble didn’t make sense, but as she spoke, all the anxiety that had been locked up inside her melted away.
