Leaving, she felt as if her indiscretion was written all over her face for everyone to see. Guilt, shame, lust, abandon.

Chapter Four

Todd was waiting for him in his office.
“This had better be good. What ya got?”

“His car was seen, at a casino in Arizona,
“What? Was he driving it?”

“No, some small-time crim; but our guys traced the man on the CCTV. Grabbed him; questioned him. Said he got it through a dealer, but on closer questioning turns out he stole it from a street on Phoenix. We’re checking whose house the car was found outside. Soon as we get the info I’ll let you know. We’ve got someone waiting outside the house for when they come home. It’s a rental property. Hopefully the tenant will be back at some point today.”
“Good work Todd. Let’s see where this leads to.”

What had Mike been doing in Phoenix? He wanted to go there and find out, but he knew his men on the ground there wouldn’t’ let Mike slip away if they spotted him, and chances were he could have moved on. He knew this could be a slow burner, and he had an important client meeting to attend here in DC the next morning; he needed to keep the Company revenue flowing; as CEO he needed to be at the heart of negotiations on any new contracts they won. He didn’t want word getting out about his cash situation. He wanted his reputation to be maintained.

Leaving the office he headed to a client site over in Virginia. Driving over he relished the opportunity to ponder this latest news. He could be very close to tracking Mike; or it could be another dead end like all the rest. His thoughts drifted easily to Tara. Though he had his men on her 24 hours a day and her apartment was bugged, her cell bugged, ever since Mike had gone, without her even realising; there had been no trace of any  contact between her and Mike. That didn’t mean they didn’t already have a plan put together before he left, to meet up when things quietened down.  On his return to the office he would draft the contract. He wasn’t joking about that. He had no intention of reneging on it; though she would be the one more likely to want to do that than him. He could still smell her on his fingers and he lifted them to his face.

The next day, shortly before leaving the office, Damian completed drawing up the contract. He smiled as he did it, finding that it amused him, as well as giving him another feeling he found harder to identify; a warmth had spread over him. Putting two copies into his briefcase, he said good evening to the team still working at their computers.

He got to the club early, intending to enjoy a meal in the club restaurant before the meeting with Tara. They always did particularly good steak. As he sat savouring the meat, it struck him that Tara had said the night before that she didn’t even have enough money to buy a decent breakfast. He found himself bothered by that. Calling over the waiter he asked that a plate of sandwiches, cold meat, and some fruit be made up and taken to the room he had reserved. Several other members were dining there and occasionally someone stopped at Damien’s table to pass small talk. It was a great place for networking and business, and even though his mind was completely taken over by thoughts of the evening to come, he engaged in conversation with those who approached him. Finishing his meal with a cognac, he sat back, content for the first time in a very long while, very much looking forward to seeing her.

An hour later, as he sat now in the Bar, he saw her come in; modest again in her plain woollen dress, understatedly natural and beautiful in his eyes.

He stood up as she approached. “Good evening Tara. I have drinks waiting for us. Come with me.”

She didn’t say anything, following him out and up the stairs to the room he led her to, nervous but her heart happy at the sight of him. Unlocking it and entering he turned to her.
“Have you eaten today?”
“Yes.”
“Ok, I’ll ask you again. Have you?”
“A little.”
“Ok. Tara, don’t ever lie to me again. I have had something prepared for you. I want you to eat it now.”
She looked around and saw the food on the table by the window.

“Help yourself.” He walked to the TV and turned it on, opting for a news channel. He sat down on the bed and she walked over to the table and sat, picking up a sandwich. She was thankful not only for the food, but also that he had given her the privacy to eat unwatched by him, thinking how unable she would have been to do so with him looking at her. She was touched at his unexpected considerateness. She felt cautious, curious as to why he would treat her so kindly, aware that there had to be a trap awaiting her; a penalty to pay. But she had to eat none the less. She shot glances his way; his attention completely focused on a news item, muttering comments at the TV, not loud enough to hear but sounding quite opinionated. She found it oddly endearing; this glimpse of domesticity with him, the animal within him at rest. She heard a vibration and saw him fish into the jacket pocket of his suit.

“Yes....Really? Ok. That’s certainly interesting. Yes, I’d appreciate it. Thanks Todd. Ok, will do.”
Damian turned to look at her, clearly something on his mind, but saying nothing.

She had finished the food, eating the fruit now.

“Thank you for this.”

“You are most welcome. The telephone call I just received concerned Mike.”

When he said Mike’s name her pulse quickened; Guilt, and yet the realisation too that she didn’t want to hear he had been found. Her feelings toward him had changed, from fear and grieving over his disappearance to a new ambivalence toward him due to her growing obsession for this man with her now.

“His car was found last night; parked at a Casino in Arizona. The car had been stolen from a property in Phoenix. One of my men tracked down the tenant of that property. A lady called Christina Valdera. She says she was Mike’s girlfriend.”
A look of utter shock covered Tara’s face, her complexion turned ashen.
“How do you know this? Confusion and disbelief furrowing her brows.

“It’s what I do. What my company does; amongst other things. Intel. It’s not hard to find these things out.”

“She told you this?”
“She told my men this.”

“The Bastard. Is he with her?”

“She says she hasn’t seen him for a week.”

“What a piece of trash. I want you to find him. I want you to rip his head off. No. I’ll do it for you!”
God she was mad now.

“Well, that has been my plan all along darling. Not your part in it; but have no worries; when I do find him, and I will...well, I don’t need to spell it out.”

She picked up the plate and hurled it across the room, not even looking at where she was aiming, narrowly missing his head. It shattered against the wall, hundreds of shards flying, closely missing cutting him.

“Just take it easy.”

“Complete bastard.” The china cup from which she’d drunk went flying against the wall.

That was enough. He rushed her, grabbed hold of both of her wrists.

“Pack it in.” She struggled against his hands, trying to break free.
“It won’t do you any good.”
“Get it off me. Now!”

“This is becoming a bit of a habit.” He said, sardonically. “But it seems to be the only way to control you at present.”  From his briefcase he pulled out some paper. “The Contract.” He waved it at her. “You can sign it later.” He let it drop as he pulled her up from the bed. He walked her over to the large floor-to-ceiling window. At the side of it he undid one of the long sash ropes tying the curtain back. He looped it around her wrist and secured it. Going to the other sash, he undid that one and held onto her by the arm as he tied it around her other wrist.

“Now, I can keep you still.” She pulled on the ropes, temper fuelling her attempts to pull them loose but they were looped to the wall at either side of the curtain quite securely.

“Let me go; immediately.”
“But I can’t do that, can I. We have an agreement now.”
“Clearly I haven’t been scheming with my ‘boyfriend’ to run away with your money if he already has another girlfriend!”
“I don’t know how you run your private life darling.”
“Stop calling me that. He can rot in hell, and so can you.”
“Now, now. That really isn’t a very nice thing to say to me.”

He stood back, just looking at her, highly amused it would seem, at her situation; he was smiling at her.

“I will get you back for this, so help me!”

“I’m sure you will. I was hoping to have a more civilised evening with you, but given that you have let your temper get the better of you, again, I think it’s best if we just get on with things and let you make another repayment to me. Since the sight of me seems to be inflaming you, I think it might be best if we were to cover your eyes.” He removed his black suit jacket. He loosened his tie and took it off. He wore a suit remarkably well, tailored so carefully to the outlines of his figure, the definition of the muscles in his thighs clearly visible. He walked to her and put the tie around her eyes, pulling it behind her head and knotting it. She could see nothing now. Just hear his voice.

He stood back, taking in the sight of her, still fully clothed, but bound and blindfolded. His erection, which had begun as he had touched her wrists, made it difficult to slow himself down. He just wanted to take her now; and yet every moment he spent with her felt sensual on its own.

He retrieved the contract. “Ok, so I am going to read the contract aloud for you, given that you are not in a position to read it yourself. And by the way, whether you fiancé has been cheating on you is beside the point. You, being his significant other, makes you liable for my financial loss. So, what I have stipulated in the contract is that; You are to be available to me at all times; you are to allow me to do whatever it is I need to do to you sexually; and you are to satisfy every request I make of you sexually.

He stood in front of her, sinisterly seductive, a smile she could not see, on his face. He approached her, his hand going to her cheek, stroking it softly.
“Just to clarify; you will be mine whenever I need you. Starting now. And there is something I have so badly wanted to do to you since the moment I set eyes on you.” His hands found the ends of her dress and slowly he started to raise it against her legs, the sensation sensually soft to her, able to only feel and not see what he was doing to her, lifting the dress higher until it reached level with her panties.

He could see her panties now; her soft cleft visible in the sheer cream silk. She felt his fingers go between the cleft, feeling her wetness there.

“I could smell you on my fingers all day yesterday.”

He went down to his knees and she felt a wet warmth as he brought his lips to her; she felt the heat of his mouth on her most intimate place. He sucked on her swollen mound, taking her all into his mouth. He ran his tongue between her lips, needing to taste her. Quickly his hands reached up to pull down her panties.
“Open your legs for me darling.”

She spread her legs apart for him. The sensations of his tongue now against her clitoris left it throbbing, the pressure just right that it was as if he had always known her body, sending waves of hot pleasure between her legs and up through her entire body. Her hips started to move back and forth to his rhythm, she couldn’t stop herself, she bucked against his tongue, ground down against it; his lips sucked onto her clitoris, engorged and aching against his mouth, and she had no inhibitions left. She exploded against his mouth; he held onto her hips, holding her down on to his mouth, still sucking on her. Without pause he got to his feet. He had wanted to kiss her for so long now. His kiss was full and passionate, his tongue going deep inside her mouth, claiming it; she could taste him and she could taste her own sex on him and it united them in scent and smell and taste. His hands held the side of her face possessively, his kisses fierce. He unbuttoned his shirt, easing it off his shoulders taking it off. She heard him unzip his trousers. He took them and the rest of his clothes off swiftly. His hand went around the back of her neck and he reached up to release the tie blindfolding her. Fully naked he stood before her, her hands still bound. A more exquisite form of masculinity she could not have found; his manhood heavy, thick, hard. His cock inches away from her, glorious. With the soaking wetness between her legs, he had no need to prepare her. He thrust his cock into her, no need for holding back. His hand went around her neck; their eyes locked on each other; combatants in a private arena, and though he held the upper hand and their power so unequally matched, her eyes didn’t yield to him. Straining against the ropes, all sensation centred on the heat between her legs, on the tightness as he stretched her, on the fullness as he thrust inside of her; her muscles grabbing hold of his cock pulling him into her as he pounded her. She was pulling down hard on the ropes, as he cupped her ass to grip her, steady her, her hips thrusting back on his cock as she sought to meet his rhythm, the matching of their bodies so perfect, riding on his cock with a fever as he delved deeper into her, fucking her in perfect rhythm, as if he had done this to her so many times before. He pulled out of her suddenly. She felt his hands go to one of her writs swiftly untying her restraint and then the other wrist, freeing her. He lifted her dress up over her head and off, undoing her bra abs dropping it to the floor. She was completely naked before him.

“Come to bed.”
