Sweetest Sin: Bad Boy Bundle (26 page)

Chapter Ten

Come
on. It’s a nice night out.” Jackson says as he steps over to the shared patio.

I smile and grab the afghan to follow him outside.

It is gorgeous. The type of weather you see painted on the background of a postcard. Stars so bright that they light up the beaches below.

I take in a deep breath of salty, beach air and sigh. My muscles relax. I lean back against Jackson. He stretches his arms out around me, gripping the railing and staring out into the distance.

I finish up my coffee and place the cup down on the patio table. “I think I’m just going to head back to my room and maybe take a shower and go to bed.”

Jackson nods and offers a smile. “Okay. Well. If you need anything else, you know where to find me.”

“Yea,” I smile and start to walk into his room in search of my key.

Flashes from the night hit my mind.

“Oh shit,” I whisper.

“What. What’s wrong?”

“I can’t believe this. I lost my purse. It must still be in the bathroom at the club.”

“All right. Well. You can use my phone to call the front desk and tell them you lost your key. They’ll come up and give you another one.”

“Yea you’re right.”

“If you want, I’ll go with you tomorrow and we can see if anyone turned your purse into a lost and found or anything like that.”

“Okay, yea. Thanks.” I say as I grab his phone and dial for the front desk.

A few minutes later, I hang up the phone, hand Jackson his afghan back, and head over to the door.

“What did they say?” he asks.

“They can replace the key, but I have to go down to the front desk and file the report and they have to make sure it’s me. They can’t just bring it up here.”

“You want me to go down with you?”

“No. I’ll be fine. Thanks again for the coffee.”

Downstairs, the front desk clerk smiles. “Hi. Miss Anders. You lost your key?”

“Hi, yes. I did. I’m sorry.”

“Oh it’s no problem. It’ll just take me a minute to program a new key for you.”

“Great. Thank you. I think I know where I lost my purse, so I’ll go out tomorrow to look for it. I’m sure I can find it.”

“Oh sure. And you never know. Someone may find it and return it here, too.”

“Here?”

“Well, yea. If you lost it in your purse and they see your hotel key, someone might be nice and decide to return it here to you. I will keep a look out.”

“Great.” The thought of anyone showing up here to return my purse eats at me. I wish I had thought of that before leaving the club. Why did I forget my purse?

The front desk clerk runs into the back office for a few minutes. And when he returns, he’s carrying with him a new key. He swipes it through the side of the computer a couple of times and then smiles and hands it over to me. “Here you are, Miss Anders. Enjoy the rest of your evening. And if there’s anything else I can do for you, please let me know.”

“I will. Thanks.” I smile and head back over to the elevator.

Upstairs, the hallway is completely quiet. I wish I can remember everything sitting in my purse right now. Like my ID? I glare down at my new hotel room key. The name of the hotel is printed on the key, but nothing else. No room number or anything like that.

But the thought that someone could track me down—that the wrong person would track me down—plagues me all the way back to my hotel room.

I unlock my hotel door and step inside my room. Flipping every light on as I walk through. I can still see Jackson’s room lights reflecting outside against the patio.

I turn around to lock and bolt the door. My hands are shaking uncontrollably. “Damn it. Why did he have to say anything? I would have been fine if he didn’t say anything about them bringing my purse back here.”

I glance around the room again. Housekeeping had come in at some point and straightened some things out. Coffee cups were sitting restocked next to the coffee pot. My bed was remade and the wrinkles were straightened out of the sheets. Fresh towels hanging in the bathroom.

“Come on Kirsten. Pull yourself together,” I demand as I head back over to the bathroom. “A hot shower, a good night’s rest. And you’ll forget all about this silly paranoia.” I grab a washcloth and start to wipe the rest of the makeup from my face.

Then it hits me. A few hours ago I stared into this same mirror confident and feeling sexy. Now I’m shaky and feeling scared.

And I don’t want to be alone.

I grab a towel and a change of clothes along with my robe and head over to the door. Jackson’s lights aren’t shining out onto the patio anymore. I take a deep breath and grip the door handle. Wondering if I’m really as brave as I think I’m about to be.

“Coffee mugs,” I whisper with a smile as I dart back over to the coffee pot to grab the new cups. I tuck the hotel key under my arm and head over next door.

Jackson answers the door in his shorts. The light from the hallway hits his eyes and forces him to squint for their protection.

“Oh crap. You were asleep. I’m sorry. This was a bad idea.”

“No. It’s fine.” He steps back, holding the door open so I can walk into his room. “Did they give you a new key?”

“Yea. They did. But then he said something that just kind of gave me the creeps. And then I — my mind just went into overdrive. With my imagination. And I just, I don’t want to be alone. So I hope its okay that I drop in like this. I brought coffee cups.”

“It’s fine. In fact, coffee cups happens to be a form of currency here.” He closes and locks the door, checking to make sure the deadbolt catches.

“Thank you.” I giggle and take a deep breath.

I bring the coffee cups over to his machine and set them down.

“So what did he say?”

“What?”

“You said that he said something that gave you the creeps. What did he say?”

“Oh. It’s stupid. I mentioned that I lost my purse with my hotel key in it and that I was going to go out tomorrow to find it. And he said that I might get lucky and that someone might find it and look inside to bring it to me here.”

“So you started thinking that those guys would show up here at the hotel.”

I trace abstract shapes into the floor with my toes, unable to gaze Jackson in the eyes. “Yea. I told you it was stupid.”

He walks up to me and rubs my shoulders. “No, I don’t think it’s stupid. I mean, I beat them up pretty good but not enough to do any real damage. You know?”

I lean in and rest my cheek against his chest. His heartbeat is strong. Steady. I wrap my arms around him and listen as it speeds up.

Still steady. Still strong. Just more excited.

He rubs my back and rests his chin on the top of my head.

“You want to know what’s really stupid? I only went out because I thought things with you would get too complicated.”

“Complicated?”

“Yea. Being right next door in the hotel? I just figured it would all get too messy. I wanted to have fun. Relax. Do something I’ve never done before. And I didn’t want to have to deal with complications after.”

“Oh no, I understand. So instead of complicating things with me by maybe having to face me in the hotel, I had to rescue you from the restroom. Much less complicated that way.”

I hold my breath and bite my lip. I squeeze in closer, trying to lose myself in his heartbeat.

But he isn’t having it. He caresses my chin and turns my face up to him. “I didn’t say it was stupid,” he whispers.

I try to answer him. To give him some reassurance that I’m not some sloppy, jelly-kneed young girl who can’t control herself. But instead of meaningful prose, all that escapes my lips is a moan as I lean up on my tip toes and crush my lips against his.

He returns my moan. Pulling me into him. His fingers running through my hair.

My hot tongue dancing in his mouth.

My nerves jump into overdrive. Tingles ripple through me as I pull up closer to him. I tangle my fingers into his soft hair.

He wraps his arms around my waist and hoists me up.

Thoughts of ecstasy dance through my mind as my hips rock against the bulge growing in his shorts. Desire burns through me. My fingertips bite into his bare shoulders.

He sets me down on the counter and reaches under my blouse.

My breast fills his palm. The sensitive nipple hardens against his smooth skin. More moans erupt as he rolls my nipple between his fingertips.

I tear into my blouse, pulling it from my skin and granting him better access to my breasts. He leans in and seals his lips over my other breast. His tongue feeling like magic, pulling my nipple into his hot mouth and flicking it lightly. Lightning shoots straight to my core.

Each of his moans sends a new vibration through to my nerves. Bringing me over to the edge.

While his tongue works magic on my breast, he reaches in under my skirt. Inching along the inside of my thigh. I arch my back and bring my leg up. Propping my ankle on the counter. Reveling in the sensation as his fingers glide up my leg.

His thumb presses up against my pussy, taking me by surprise. I nearly slip from the counter and have to lean back on my hands to maintain my balance.

Jackson doesn’t seem the least bit concerned. His thumb rubs along my panties, coating them in my juices. He releases my breast from his mouth and stands up. His thumb still dancing along my opening. His other hand gripping my waist. And he stares at me.

I stare straight up at the ceiling and close my eyes. Sitting on the edge of an orgasm. And yet again I have no idea what he’s thinking. What he wants. I just want him.

I grind my hips against his fingers and moan. My moan sounds weak. More desperate than desiring.

But it works.

He pulls my panties off and slips his thumb in against the folds of my pussy. I nearly gush right then and there.

I reach down and grab his arm as he leans in. Pressing his finger deeper into me. I grab his shoulder and lean up to kiss him. His thumb dances with my clit as his finger plunges into me.

Again and again.

Jackson moans as he drills his finger into my pussy.

The heat of my orgasm builds up and I grind faster.

And faster.

He matches my thrusts. Moving from my mouth to plant his lips on my breast again. His fingers still pumping into me.

And then I can’t hold on anymore. With both hands, I grab the back of his head. I arch my back and pull him in. He pumps two fingers into me. Grinding against my hot pussy harder. Riding each wave of my orgasm as I moan.

He sweeps me off the counter and back into his arms. My wet pussy quivers against him as I wrap my arms around him. I know it won’t take much to send me back over the edge.

Jackson carries me over to the bed and sits down. I adjust my legs to straddle him, sinking down against him. Allowing his manhood to press up against my pussy.

“Please tell me you have a condom,” I whisper as he leans back.

He nods and points to the nightstand. I open the drawer there. Brand new box of condoms still in the plastic bag. Complete with receipt. I smile and dig into the box to grab a condom, tossing the box aside as I tear into the wrapper.

Jackson pulls his shorts down, kicking them aside as I lean back. His huge cock is bulging. Harder even than last time I got to put my hands on it. I curl my fingers around it and lean forward to kiss him. Letting my juices drip onto his shaft before covering him up.

When I can’t take it anymore, I press the end of the condom against the head of his cock and I roll the edges down. Pumping as I work the condom around him.

With each pump, my pussy aches to be filled again. He moans and throws his head back onto the mattress. His hands gripping my hips.

Finally, I sit up and guide his cock into me.

Slowly.

I edge him in, giving myself a chance to adjust to his girth.

I slide down his shaft. Taking him all in. Until my lips rub up against the base of his cock. He releases a deep, satisfying breath as he fills me.

My hips rock against him. Pressing the head of his cock against my g-spot.

Grinding.

Rubbing.

My clit massaging against the base of his cock.

He pulls my hips against him. Grunting and thrusting into me. I pulled off of him slowly. Relishing the length of his shaft. I lean forward, letting my hair fall to tickle at his chest.

Then I slam my hips down onto him. Evoking new moans from both of us. His hot breath sticks to me. I lean in closer, lapping the sweat from his neck as I grind my pussy back down onto his cock.

My next orgasm hits without warning. Sending shivers up and down my spine. I thrust and moan, crumbling under the force as I cum over his cock.

He smiles and wraps his arm around my waist. Pulling me over to his side and laying me on the bed as I shake.
