S*x and Secrets: Alpha Billionaire Forbidden Romance (8 page)

Thankfully, I’d been to the beauty salon a day earlier and been waxed, plucked, and pampered from head to toe already.
The things women go through to be beautiful.
But it was totally worth it. I loved how silky soft my skin was and I knew that Levi appreciated when my pussy was smooth.

I had no doubt that tonight would be a fuckfest of epic proportions, and I could honestly not wait to see him. For some strange reason, lately my mind kept drifting to him more than usual, and I found myself missing him so much the night before that I nearly rang him for a quick get-together. In the end, I just rang to hear his voice. Even he was surprised because I never called if it wasn’t strictly about business. It was just too dangerous, and frankly, something I’d never had the need to do before.

I’d splurged on new underwear—a black satin and lace bra and matching panties and suspender belt. I twirled in front of the mirror, pleased that I’d done the seven-day cleansing diet everyone in the office raved about. Not that I had extra weight to get rid of; I just wanted to feel healthier and more energized, and I noticed that my hair and skin were glowing, too.

Carefully applying liquid eyeliner with an upward sweep at the outer corners, I waited for it to dry before I applied lashings of mascara to accentuate the blue of my eyes. Running my fingers over the row of lipsticks in the top drawer, I selected a dark crimson red. I was going all out tonight to look my best. I leaned in closer to the mirror as I outlined my lips, then filled it in with the vibrant color. Pleased, I smacked my lips together and smiled at my reflection.

Thirty-three.

Damn, I wasn’t getting younger. Narrowing my eyes, I studied my features critically for a few moments under the harsh bathroom lights. Thankfully I’d stayed out of the sun most of my life, and I could only spot a few creases at the corners of my eyes.
Nothing to get paranoid about
. It showed that I was real, that I’d lived a good life. It hadn’t always been like that, so to me, laughter lines were a blessing.

These years were supposed to be the prime of my life, and I intended to squeeze every bit of joy and fun out of them. I had a fantastic career, a few awesome friends, and I’d just purchased my own apartment. I had money in the bank, and on top of it all, a gorgeous man to take care of my carnal needs.

Yeah, as I said before—I was a lucky,
lucky
girl.

I was on track to meet and exceed my goals. I’d ticked every single item off my ambitious five-year plan two years early. How many people could boast such an achievement?

A small frown sat between my brows.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

My biological clock was ticking away, and although I’d decided years ago that I never wanted kids, I couldn’t help the panic that pushed up into my throat at the thought of getting older. The tiniest fraction of doubt entered my mind as images of mini Levi’s ran through my mind. God, the man would make beautiful babies.

No, Montana. You’re losing your shit, girl.

It’s not an option.
It never was.

He’s just a fuck buddy, remember? Levi wouldn’t want babies with me either. Our setup worked for us, so why change anything? What we had was exactly what I’d always wanted.

Then why did I have this empty hole in the deepest part of my heart? What the hell did it mean?

I shook my head and walked to the closet filled with designer clothes I could afford because of my great career.
This
. This is real.

I took a deep breath and let my rational mind take over.  Pulling myself together, I ignored the uneasy feeling in my gut and slipped the red dress I’d saved for a special occasion over my head.

Money. Pretty things. Being a rising star in the business world. What the fuck more could a girl want, right?

Some people would call me shallow, and maybe I was to some extent. But
things
didn’t make demands like people did and they were a hell of a lot safer to manage. I’d always believed that was what would make me happy, yet I couldn’t pretend that they were.

Those very same things, while lovely to own, left me feeling hollow and unfulfilled and I couldn’t place my finger on the reason.

Maybe because I was afraid of the truth?

Chapter 12 – Levi

B
ack in the loft, I paced the spacious room in bare feet. Where the hell was Montana? It was seventeen minutes passed the time she was supposed to be there already.

Hell, she was never late.

Maybe something had happened. I checked my phone for messages.

Nothing.

Maybe she’d changed her mind. But no, she wouldn’t just ditch me, would she?

Grabbing hold of the remote, I turned the music down a notch and listened for a moment. I couldn’t believe how rattled and unhinged I felt just because Montana hadn’t arrived. I’d become so accustomed to her always being there that for a moment, panic rose in my chest at the thought of her not showing up.

Were those her heels clicking on the concrete floor? I glanced up at the clock. Twenty-six minutes late. Damn. I might give her a spanking just for making me worry.

A sharp rap on the wooden door surprised me. Why wasn’t Montana using her key? Since I was in fact lurking close to the door, I pulled it open with a jerk.

Standing in front of me was the redhead, her hair loosened and falling over her shoulders, the top three buttons of her shirt undone so that I couldn’t miss her ample cleavage.  Red wasn’t fucking around; she’d already worked out that tits were my thing.

“Hey, handsome.” She pushed past me into the entrance, blowing a bubble with her gum and letting it pop. “I decided to take my chances. Seems your lady friend isn’t coming after all, and I’d hate to see all that great food go to waste. Sorry I’m still in my working clothes, but I have a feeling I won’t need them for much longer anyway.”

“Um . . . what?” I said, looking back toward the elevator and stairwell for signs of Montana.

Red reached out and grabbed hold of my hand and placed it on her chest. “I’m pretty sure these babies won’t disappoint. And looking at you, I know for a fact your cock is to die for, so why not have fun with
me
tonight, baby?”

“Whoa! Mon . . . um, my girlfriend is just running late.” I withdrew my hand and shoved it along with the other one into my pockets just to be safe.

The redhead wrinkled her nose at me. “Bullshit. According to Wilson, she’s never late; that’s why I had to guarantee him that we could be in and out within twenty minutes. I had to put on an extra person just for you, baby, so we could get it all done in time. Well, I guess it’s her loss, after all.” Red placed her arms around my neck and sniffed. “Jesus, you smell good. Like sex. Lucky for you I’m here, baby, or you’d have blue balls. Can’t wait for you to fuck me on that gigantic bed.”

“Hey, cut it out. Are you fucking crazy?”

She leaned backward so that she could look up at me with wide eyes. “What? No, I’m not crazy. Just horny.” She licked her lips. “Very horny and ready to be fucked blind by a hunk like you.”

“Red, I already told you I’m not interested.” I grabbed hold of her wrists and pulled her arms off me, then shoved her toward the door. “I want you to leave right now. Be a good girl and go before I call security.”

She looked up at me with her mouth half open as if I were the crazy person. “You’re really saying no to pussy? What, did I miss something?”  Her brow knitted. “Are you gay? Jesus, I can’t believe it. All the best guys in New York are fucking gay!”

“Yes, that’s right. I’m gay. Wilson just told you this setup is for a woman because my lover is quite a sensitive type of man.” I held my palms up and shrugged. “New-age and all that stuff.”

It didn’t take Red long to recalculate. “Fuck me. How about a threesome then? I love sucking cock, and two would be amazing. I can be the meat in the sandwich . . . it’s always been a fantasy of mine.”

Christ. This bitch had no filter. She just didn’t get the message. I was about to throttle her and throw her out the window.

The clicking of heels coming toward us caught my attention. I jerked my head in the direction of the sound. All the breath in my lungs left my body.

Montana.

Looking sexy as fuck.

A red dress that left very little to the imagination. Killer heels. All for me.

Fuck.

I was mesmerized by the way her hips swayed as she walked. My cock throbbed with appreciation.
How the hell does she do that to me?

She stopped in her tracks, her mouth gaping when she spotted Red clinging to my arm. Without a word, she pivoted on her heels and stormed back toward the open elevator. Even though we’d discussed it before that if we ever were in a situation that was risky or just plain off, we’d get the hell out as fast as we could, I didn’t like it one bit now that it was happening. Damn the horny redhead.

“No, wait!” I called after Montana, afraid to use her name out loud. “Don’t go. I can explain.”

Jesus. That sounded like the oldest cliché in the book. If I weren’t so afraid she’d get away without giving me a chance to exonerate myself, I’d laugh.

That’s
your girlfriend? Montana? I thought you were gay.”

I didn’t hang around to answer. The elevator doors closed and Montana was gone.
Fuck.

I bolted down the stairwell, taking two steps at a time. I had to stop her. If I didn’t get to her straight away, my chances would be blown. Montana didn’t give second chances. She’d made that very clear from the beginning. No way did I want this fucked up by a stupid misunderstanding.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs before the elevator opened, my brain caught up with me.

Does Red
know
Montana? She’d said her name, which meant she recognized her. Christ, this was getting more fucked up by the second.

The elevator doors opened and a flustered Montana stood against the back wall of the car, a deep frown on her face while she bit into her lower lip.

“It’s all part of your birthday surprise,” I blurted out, trying to explain.

“Wh-what? You organized a threesome? Jesus, Levi, I don’t do girls.”

“Huh?” What was all this talk about threesomes? “
No.
No, she’s the catering manager.”

She stayed frozen, her hands spread out against the wall. “So you decided you liked her and just invited her in the spur of the moment then? Really, Levi?”

Fuck me. She had completely the wrong idea, but I couldn’t blame her after what she saw.

Baby.
No, it’s not like that.” I stepped inside the car. “Not at all.”

“What then?” She folded her arms across her chest, accentuating her sexy cleavage and making my dick jump. She stared directly at my crotch and my cock responded by stiffening. “And why are you wearing satin pants in front of other people?”

“Give me a chance to expl—”

She narrowed her eyes and cut me off. “Are you aware that the outline of your
stiff
cock is totally visible through the fabric? I’m not surprised to find a woman draped around you, with you dressed like that.”

I chuckled softly. “Are you saying I’m turning you on?” I took a step closer until I caged her in, both my arms raised above her head while I leaned forward and stared down into her confused eyes.

“How do you expect a girl to concentrate on anything else? The Monster is impressive, even when hiding inside your pants.”

“Darling, it’s because it can’t wait to get inside you. You look so fucking hot I just wanna stick my dick into you right now.”

Both her hands landed on my chest and shoved hard. “No. Go play with your redhead. I’m out.”

Red. Fuck, how could I have forgotten even for a second?

I reached for her chin and raised it so her eyes could meet mine. “Red is nobody. She invited herself and I was just getting rid of her.”

“Did you say
Red
? Shit, it is her then.”

My turn to be confused. “What do you mean? You know her?”

“Yeah, she’s my friend from college. We lost touch for a while. I didn’t know she was in New York, and I certainly didn’t expect that when I bumped into her again she’d have her hands all over my guy.”

“Your guy, huh?”

“As a figure of speech. You know what I mean,” she huffed.

I rubbed my chin. “I like that you think of me as your guy. It’s hot.”

“Levi.” The exasperation in her voice was cute as hell. We’d agreed to no labels in our relationship. The way her cheeks burned pink made her even more adorable.

I pushed the hair away from her neck and ran my lips along her jaw. “So can we just go back upstairs, and get rid of your long-lost buddy so I can stick my dick in you?”

Her breath hitched. “You don’t want a threesome then?”

I chuckled out loud. “Hell no. There’s only one woman I want to fuck, and she’s teasing my cock with her hard nipples showing through her red dress. It’s only you, baby.” I sucked in a breath as the truth of the words hit me again. “Only you.”

Chapter 13 – Montana

O
f all the people in the world, I never expected to see Red Lancaster in New York. Truth be told, I’d been avoiding my former best friend for years simply because she knew too much about my old life and since I’d shaken that shit off some time ago, I didn’t want to be reminded of things I’d long buried.

Levi pushed his dick down, but it wouldn’t go back to rest. “Fuck, see what you do to me? How am I getting past that wild woman without her noticing?” An impish glint shone in his eyes. “Maybe you should get on your knees and suck me off before we go up.”

“Funny.
Not,”
I retorted with a huff. The dress was so freaking tight I could hardly breath, never mind anything else, especially bending down.

Levi pulled me closer and right up against his erection. “Happy birthday, Montana. I have a surprise for you, and it’s not reacquainting with your friend, Red. That’s just coincidence. And bad timing.” He leaned in for a kiss while running his hands over my ass. “You’re not wearing panties. You’re killing me, baby.”
