Taming the Tiger (BBW/Shifter Mail Order Bride Romance) (Mail-Order Mates Book 4) (7 page)

He roared triumphantly and put his body weight on her back. Gwen’s body responded immediately. Dom wanted her. She shifted back to human. It was much colder now that she had no fur, but Dom was still draped over her naked body. He bit her lightly on her shoulder and shifted. When he was human again, his teeth were still in her shoulder. His hard cock was also pressed into her backside.

Gwen pressed her ass back against him and moved her hips in small circles. Dom moaned into her skin as he nibbled on her ear. “I want you, but I think this snow is going to have an adverse effect on me soon. Race you back to the cabin?”

She understood his meaning. Her nipples were hard points already and she could see her breath in the air. She doubted his erection was going to last long in the cold. She nodded once and shifted back to her tiger. The run down here hadn’t seemed that long, but it seemed like an eternity before they were back at the cabin.

As soon as she saw the cabin, Gwen shifted back to human. She ran the rest of the way on foot and waited for Dom to catch up. He got as far as the front door before shifting back to human form. He caught Gwen in his arms as she ran to him. She hadn’t meant to sleep with him. She’d wanted to wait until they were back in Sunset Falls, but her tiger had other thoughts.

Dom ran his hands through her long hair as he kissed her. He broke the kiss and picked her up in his arms. He carried her to the king-sized bed and laid her down. He grabbed her two full breasts in his hands as he kissed her again. Squeezing gently, he took one nipple between his fingers and teased her. Gwen growled and arched up into his hand.

She spread her legs wide and rubbed herself against Dom’s hardness, and he pushed back against her. He let go of her tits to hold himself above her on the bed. He went down on one forearm and used his other hand to guide himself to her wet folds. Gwen didn’t need any more foreplay. She wanted Dom
now
. He entered her slowly, allowing her to accommodate his large size. Gwen bucked against him again.

Dom put his hands on her hips. “Slow down. We have all night.”

Gwen moaned, but she let him set a slow pace. He worked his hips slowly but it was enough. He brushed against the sweet spot deep inside of her with each move. Gwen was panting and gripping at the sheets. The slow motion made the pleasure build slowly. It coiled deep in her belly with each pass over the spot. She put her hand between them and rubbed at her clit with the same slow motion. Gwen closed her eyes as her orgasm exploded between her legs and then spread through her whole body.

Dom groaned as she clenched tight around him. He stilled until she opened her eyes again. He pulled her legs up to his waist and continued at a slightly faster pace. Once Gwen had come again, Dom went to work. He hammered away at her. The whole time he looked her in the eye and kept his free hand moving all over her body.

Gwen felt him get impossibly hard inside her and then it was done. He filled her completely.

Spent, he took her face in his hands. “I love you, Gwen.”

“I…I care about you too.” Her heart was hammering in her chest. She wanted to tell him that she loved him and about the baby, but the moment didn’t seem right.

Dom’s face contorted in pain as he registered what she had said. He rested his head on her shoulder and slipped out of her. He fell asleep in her arms.

She did love him, but she couldn’t say it yet. But it felt right. For the first time in a long time. It felt right to be with him.

“So you used to date him,” Olivia repeated.

“Uh-huh,” Gwen nodded.

“And you think you love him?” the blonde agent asked.

“I do love him,” Gwen confirmed.

“So…?” Olivia looked at Rachel. “Do you have anything stronger than a coffee?”

Rachel shook her head and laughed. “Not for breakfast, Ms. Grey.”

Olivia, Amy, and Gwen were having a late breakfast at Two Wolves. Gwen still had a weekend off work and the next day was Valentine’s Day. She knew she had to tell Dom about the baby but wasn’t sure how.

“I know it’s confusing, but at least we’re together now.”

“No thanks to you.” Amy gave Gwen a look. “At least you can blame your crazy behavior on the hormones.”

Olivia’s eyebrows shot up. “What? Gwen, are you…you couldn’t be. Could you?”

“Shhh!” Gwen looked around to make sure no one had overheard. “I am, but it’s a secret for now. I haven’t told Dom yet. I’m trying to find the right time.”

“Better be quick,” Amy joked. “Wait too long and the baby can tell him.”

Gwen laughed. “I just wanted to thank you for putting up with all my calls and finding my match,” she told Olivia.

“It’s my pleasure. I’m on a hot streak in Sunset Falls. I haven’t had one bad match yet.” She smiled gleefully.

“When are you going to match my idiot bosses?” Rachel asked.

“I heard that!” Matt yelled from behind the counter. “It’s not that busy in here, Rachel.”

“Look at him.” Rachel motioned to her tall, dark, and handsome boss. “He’s gorgeous and a very nice boy. But he’s all alone. I can’t vouch for that no-good brother of his, but Matt should get a match, at least.”

“What about you?” Olivia asked, catching Rachel off guard. “I don’t see a ring on your finger.”

Rachel looked horrified. “Those boys are young enough to be my sons!”

“They are not.” Gwen looked at Olivia. “Don’t listen to her. She’s not even forty. Matt and Mark could be her younger brothers.”

Olivia laughed. “I didn’t mean for you to date Matt. I meant, would you be interested in signing up with LK Brides?”

“Rachel, you have to do it,” Amy told her. “It seems scary, but you never know what you might be missing out on.”

“I couldn’t leave Sunset Falls,” Rachel said. “Sorry to disappoint, but I like living here.”

“How do you know your match isn’t in town?” Olivia pressed.

“I think I would know if that were true.” The hostess called to Rachel. “I’ll be back.”

“Think about it!” Olivia called after her.

“You’re talking to a lost cause there, Liv,” Gwen told her. “Rachel isn’t leaving Sunset Falls, and her match isn’t here. You’re going to have to find brides somewhere else.”

“You thought the same thing,” Olivia said determinedly. “I’m going to get her to sign up. Everyone deserves a shot at love.”

“Do you think she should be with someone in town?” Amy asked.

“Maybe,” Olivia said cryptically. “But back to this ‘surprise’ of Gwen’s. It
is
Valentine’s Day. The possibilities are endless for cute ways to tell him.”

“I know. But there’s so much pressure on that day,” Gwen said. “I don’t want to make the day all about me. I want it to be about us.”

“Whatever you do, you’d better tell him soon. Molly is going to burst if she can’t tell,” Amy warned her.

“Don’t worry. I have a plan,” Gwen assured her friend. She still had a little time. She would pick out something special by the weekend.

“What’s this?” Dom picked up the small box and shook it.

Dinner had been perfect. Gwen had come to his house and they’d had an intimate four-course meal together. He’d ordered out from a nice restaurant and only had to warm the food up before serving it. Dom had already given Gwen her present, a new dress by her favorite designer. He couldn’t wait until the end of the meal to give it to her.

Of course, he’d wanted to give her much more, but she had refused to come if he didn’t agree to a one-present rule. She said he’d spent enough money on her that week. She wanted to spend time with him, not spend money.

“Open it.”

Gwen looked nervous. He was hoping for a Rolex or tickets to a concert. Dom opened the box and saw nothing. It was all tissue paper. He dug through it until he came to a plastic baggie.

“What is it?” he repeated.

“Are you serious?” Gwen’s face fell. Dom looked closer. He didn’t want his reaction to disappoint her. He didn’t have a clue what it was, but he made a happy face.

“Oh!” He pretended to get it as he desperately clutched at the zipper of the bag. “I love it.”

“Dom, I want you to know that I love you very much. But you’re an awful liar. How are you a lawyer?”

“We don’t all lie.” He reached into the bag and felt around the tissue inside. He felt something long and hard. He pulled out a plastic stick and turned it around in his hands. He studied it puzzled until he saw the plus sign. He jumped up. “Are you serious?”

Gwen nodded.

Dom came around the table and picked her up. “I’m going to be a father!” He put her back down and got down on his knees. “Hey, you in there! I’m your dad!” Grinning, he kissed Gwen’s belly and then stood up and kissed her. “I love you so much, Gwen. This is the best present I’ve ever gotten.”

“I love you too, Dom. Happy Valentine’s Day.”

There was going to be a lot of planning to do. And he was sure now that Gwen wasn’t going to begrudge his breaking the one-present rule. He had an engagement ring hidden in his sock drawer.

All of that could wait. For now, he was going to enjoy the moment. He was going to be a father. He and Gwen were going to start a family. He never imagined he’d have a wife and a cub all in the same year. It was an embarrassment of riches, and Dominic couldn’t believe he was so lucky.
