The Billionaire's Call Girl: A BWWM Billionaire Romance (8 page)

He nodded again and then the conversation drifted slowly to other things, and the hard part being over, Felicia was able to sit back and watch as her family ate and talked and spent the evening soaking in each other's company. It was precious to her, every moment of it.

She helped clean up after the meal, and then when it was all done, she called for her car, kissed her family goodbye; holding them close to her for as long as she could, and then her dad and brother walked her out to the limo with her bags.

"A limo?"  Her dad was surprised  "This is your car? This is what they are picking you up in? I guess things really are going to be alright there. Good."

He kissed her and hugged her one last time and looked down at her saying, "You make sure they take good care of my girl."

"I will, Daddy." she said softly. He shot the chauffeur a sharp look, making him back away, and then he reached for the car door and held it open for his daughter. Felicia looked up at her mother who was standing on the steps with her siblings, waving goodbye to her, and she waved at them and blew them a kiss.

Felicia turned and got into the car as her father closed the car door behind her, knowing that her life would never be the same again.

Felicia called Jake and told him that she would be arriving at the hotel that evening, and he was delighted to hear it.

"That's wonderful news! I'm really pleased that you're doing this. I think it's going to be one of the best things for both of us." The satisfaction with their situation was evident in his deep voice.

She took a big breath and let it out slowly as the car moved swiftly toward her new home. "I think it will be, too." she agreed, feeling a tingle through her at the thought of what her future would be like with him.

"I won't be there tonight, but I will come over tomorrow night, and we can have dinner and see how things go. Would that be alright?" he asked.

She marveled at his thoughtfulness; here he was, paying her an exorbitant sum for her company and keeping her in the most luxurious place she had ever seen, and yet he was still taking her comfort and readiness into consideration. She smiled as she realized it.

"I think that would be just fine."  She really did think that it would be. It had been a long time since she had been with anyone intimately, and she admitted to herself that his blazing touch on her body would be a welcome one. Her situation was a good one; there was no denying that.

"I will be counting the minutes." he said somewhere between being serious and joking.

"See you then, and thank you so much. You've already done more for me than you will ever know, and I can't thank you enough," she told him quietly.

He was humbled by it. "I'm glad to do all that I can for you," he told her.

The car pulled up to the hotel and she was helped from the car, ushered into a private door of the hotel, and escorted up to the penthouse. She realized that it would take some time for her to become accustomed to the treatment she was receiving. She thought she might never become accustomed to it, but regardless of all of that, she was kind and thankful to the staff of the hotel who were serving her. She could just as easily have been one of them, serving someone else, and it was a truth she would never forget or take for granted.

As the elevator doors closed behind her when she entered her new home, she felt a rush of emotions that she had not expected. She was excited for the new life she would live, she was delighted to be in such a beautiful place, a place that she was still in absolute awe of. She was nervous about what would come, and yet she was looking forward to it all.

She spent the first part of her evening there unpacking her bags, hanging up her clothes, filling her dresser drawers and settling in to her new home. Once that was done, she made herself a mug of tea and walked out onto the balcony, overlooking all of the city lights that had come on as the sun set and darkness fell like a shroud, slowly and silently overhead

.

There was a fire pit on the balcony, set about with benches and chairs, and she sat beside it, drinking her tea and watching the flames dance up into the dark night. It was peaceful here. She was in the middle of the city, but she was so far up that there was no real noise, and she was able to relax in a peaceful, quiet setting.

She was glad in a way that Jake hadn't come to join her on her first night. She felt that it was nice to be able to settle in with just a few changes to her life at a time, rather than all of them all at once.

Felicia spent a long while on the balcony, and then she walked around the penthouse and familiarized herself with all of it, discovering as she went that every single thing she could have asked for or needed, and more, had been provided for her. It was nice to have it all taken care of.

Jake told her that the staff who cared for and cleaned the penthouse would be keeping her supplies stocked, and that if there was anything at all that she wanted or preferred to have or use, she was to leave it on a list for them to bring in the next day or call down to the concierge and it would be handled immediately.

The level of respect and service that she had already experienced in her few short days with Jake was far beyond anything she was used to, and she knew it would take her a while to acclimate to it.

By the end of her night, she was exhausted. It had been a long and emotional day, going through her things and packing, paying off the house, saying goodbye to her family, and beginning her new life there in the penthouse. She fell straight to sleep and slept soundly without dreaming at all, nestled deep into the down comforter on the enormous bed in her opulent room.

When the morning came, she realized she had slept in late because she had been so comfortable and relaxed, and it was a treat for her to enjoy. She rose from her bed, showered in the spacious shower, enjoying all the different showerheads that protruded from the walls and cleaned every part of her body, then she dressed and walked out into the kitchen.

She was amazed to find an older woman moving about the kitchen, and she stopped short, looking at her in surprise.

"Good morning, Miss Felicia!" the woman said with a grin. "I'm Mia; I'm your personal housekeeper and cook. I'm usually here in the mornings to clean the house and take care of breakfast and lunch for you. How did you sleep?"

Felicia tried not to stare and feel uncomfortable. "I... I slept very well, thank you. Much better than I have in a long time," she answered as easily as she could.

"Ah! That's wonderful. I'm glad to hear it." Mia waved her hand at the kitchen around them. "What can I make for you today?" she asked with a smile.

Felicia shook her head and shrugged, "Oh, Mia, you don't have to-"

Mia tutted her and smiled, "Now Miss, it's my job to do this for you. Please, what can I make for you?  Perhaps you would like some fruit? Some waffles or pancakes? Eggs and French toast? I can create anything that you like. You just tell me what you want, and I fix it.”

Feeling as though she ought not to argue with the woman again, Felicia smiled and nodded. "Alright, let's see; how about some fresh fruit, coffee, toast, orange juice, and maybe eggs benedict if we have it?" she ended her request on a note of uncertainty and Mia nodded with a grin.

"That's a good breakfast! We have it! I will make it. You sit and relax. I'll get your coffee first." She bustled around the kitchen happily.

Minutes later, there was a steaming cup of coffee in front of her and she discovered that as she watched Mia working, she was relaxing.

Mia spoke as she drank her coffee. "There is a message from Mr. Johnson for you. He has arranged for you to have a day at the spa downstairs if you like. He has set up the full works so it would be a body massage, a steam bath, pedicure, manicure, facial, a body wrap, and if you like, waxing. Whatever services that you would like to have done, you are welcome to, and you may go down anytime you like. There is staff that is especially set aside for you."

Felicia was astounded. She hadn't ever had a full spa day anywhere, ever, and the idea was intriguing to say the least. She knew that Jake would be there at the penthouse with her that night, and she knew that it would probably be a good idea to go take advantage of his generous gift.

"I'll go down after breakfast. Thank you so much." she said to Mia with a smile. Mia grinned back at her, her older face crinkling and glowing as she set Felicia's breakfast down in front of her.

"There you are, my dear, all set. Enjoy, and please let me know if there is anything else that I can get for you. It is my pleasure. I will be off now to clean, and when you are done, please just leave your dishes there and head down to the spa when you are ready." Mia gave her another smile and then vanished.

Felicia wondered if Mia was the only person who cleaned the penthouse, because the place was huge, and it was spotless. There was a master bedroom with bathroom that was bigger than the entire first floor of her parents’ house, a guest room with a private bathroom, another full bathroom closer to the pool area, a living room, a library and office, a kitchen, a breakfast nook, a dining room, the balcony, and the pool. It was unquestionably expansive, and Felicia frowned, hoping that Mia had some help in keeping it all up.

She finished her breakfast and then headed down in the elevator to the spa after checking with the concierge to see what floor it was on.

She had never had a day of pampering such as she had in the spa. Every one of her senses was catered to through different means of stimulation, and after a day of massaging, creams, hot steam, oils, tea, water, wraps and no end of products and manipulations of her body, Felicia floated out of the spa and headed back upstairs to her new home.

She was so relaxed that she curled up on her bed and fell asleep, waking later in the afternoon. Mia was waiting for her as she emerged from her bedroom.

They talked about the spa and they talked about the late lunch that Felicia might want, and then Mia made it and bid her goodbye for the afternoon, telling her she would be there in the morning again.

Felicia enjoyed salmon and salad for lunch with a glass of white wine, and then she went out onto the balcony with a book, to soak up some beautiful sunshine that was warming the city that afternoon.

.

She was partway through her book when she heard the glass door open on the balcony and looked up to see Jake standing there with a bouquet of red roses in a gorgeous vase for her.

Felicia smiled at him and got up from her bench.

"I was expecting you to come over later! This is a nice surprise, and look at those flowers! My goodness, they are gorgeous! Thank you!" she said happily, burying her face in them as she took the vase from him and walked into the living room to set them on the table in there.

She turned around and saw that he was watching her intently.

"How is everything for you?" he asked, staring at her.

Felicia nodded. "It's wonderful; so much more than I expected, and quite a bit more than I deserve. I'm sure about that."

He took a few steps toward her, his eyes steady on her. "I'm so glad to hear that. You seem settled in, and that is good.”  Felicia felt her pulse quicken and her body begin to heat up as she stayed at the center focal point of his gaze. "What is it that brought you here so early?" she asked him in a quiet voice.

"You." He answered in a low tone. "Just... just the thought of you being here and waiting for me; I wanted to be here earlier, I wanted to be here as soon as I could be." He moved toward her again and her stomach tightened as the heat in it began to smolder.

His eyes were still trained right on her and she took a breath and smiled at him sweetly. "Well, I'm glad you're here," she tried to say, but it came out as a whisper. She lost her breath entirely as he closed the gap between them and reached for her, pulling her to him in a close embrace and kissing her as if she was the only air in the room and he needed her to survive. It was an adamant and desperate kiss, a kiss of one who has a visceral need for love and affection.
