5-Spice Blend

Five-Spice is a mixture of five spices commonly used in Chinese cuisine, so it certainly accompanies traditional Chinese foods well. However, this blend is also delicious stirred into applesauce or yogurt, sprinkled over mulled wine or apple cider, or added to holiday spice cookies.

Jamaican Jerk Blend

Any dry spice blend made outside of Jamaica itself is a far cry from the “true” flavor of Jamaican jerk that can only result from using fresh cinnamon leaves and roasting meat over allspice wood. Nonetheless, this blend will bring calypso to your tongue and just might make you long to dance in warm sea breezes.
