Will smiled a smile so faint that it would not have shown up in a photograph. It was her! It had taken him years to track her down from the scant clues that her mother had provided him. But an instant's glance told him who she was, and locked her tight in his heart forever.

He waited until she was about to brush past him, and then extended an arm with a pack of Marlboros in it.

“Say, princess,” he said pleasantly. “Got a light?”
