Laszlo
’s gaze was intense. “Are you okay?”

Yeah, why?”

You’re holding your stomach. Do you feel okay? Is the baby okay?”

She chuckled and sat up, taking his face into her hands.
“We’re both fine. I just like putting my hand there. It makes me feel closer to the baby.”

He sighed with relief and rested his forehead on hers.
“I worry.”

I know, but there’s no need.” She gave his lips a chaste kiss. “There are some things I’d like to discuss with you, though.”

Me too, but first, let me take care of this.” Laszlo grabbed the tray and took it downstairs; leaving Trinity to wonder what it was he wanted to talk about. Hopefully, whatever it was, was good.

Laszlo returned and
kneeled at the foot of the bed. Crawling toward her, he captured her lips and kissed her hard and long. Using the force of their kiss, he pushed her down onto her back and brought his body over hers. “I thought we were going to talk,” she mumbled into his mouth.

We will,” he responded, kissing her harder. His hand coursed down the length of her body, his fingers brushing along the side of her breast. She arched into him. “God, I’ve missed you so much, Trin.”

I’ve missed you, too.”

He left her mouth and trailed kisses across her jaw and around her neck. Then he abruptly stopped and rolled off of her. She groaned in protest. Laszlo was breath heavy, as if they
’d just had vigorous sex. “Sorry, love, but once I start; there will be no way I can stop. So, talk first.”

Trinity giggled.
“You first.”

Propping himself up on an elbow, he looked at her with a wicked smile.
“We’ve finally figured out a way to deal with our Jason problem.”

You have?” She did nothing to try and hide the excitement from her voice. “How?”

It’s a bit complicated, but I’m meeting with him tomorrow. My lawyer will be there, too, and once we’re finished, Congressman Jason Ross will not only be out of our lives, he’ll be out of a political career for good.”

Trinity flung her arms around Laszlo and hugged him.
“I’m so glad to hear that.”

So, tomorrow while I’m gone, I want you to pack because as soon as I’m out of that meeting, we’re getting the hell out of here and going on our honeymoon.”

Yay!” Trinity said. “I can’t wait!”

Laszlo laughed.
“Neither can I.” He lightly placed his hand on her stomach. “So, what did you want to talk about?”

The baby,” she said, settling on her side, facing him. “He or she will be born in six months. We haven’t decorated the nursery, which is kind of okay because I want to wait until I find out the sex of the baby, but we haven’t bought any furniture, either. We haven’t discussed Godparents or names. There’s a lot to do.”

He silenced her with a kiss.
“Relax, baby, we’ve got plenty of time. As soon as we return from our honeymoon, we’ll go shopping for baby furniture, okay?”

Trinity nodded.
“And Godparents?”

I’d like Dean to be the Godfather.”

She smiled at the knowledge that Laszlo had thought of this.
“And I want Becky to be the Godmother.”

Okay, so that’s settled. I suggest we wait to pick names once we know if it’s a boy or girl,” he said.

I love you,” she blurted out, overcome by the emotions she was feeling.

Come here,” he said, pulling her to him and lowering his head to kiss her. But before their lips touched, his cell phone rang. With a groan, he rolled over and grabbed it from the bedside table. “What?” he snapped.

On the other end, Trinity heard a male voice.
“We have a problem.” Before Laszlo said anything, she knew she was once again going to be going to bed alone. Moving away from him, she got out of bed and went into the bathroom so she could cry in peace.

CHAPTER 6

“Congressman Ross,” Laszlo said with a curt nod.

Mr. Cstary.” Jason replied just as curtly. “What’s he doing here?” Jason nodded toward the man in the corner.

That’s my attorney. He’ll be sitting in on our meeting to ensure the legality of things,” Laszlo explained as he took his seat behind his desk.

I didn’t agree to this.” Despite his objection, Jason sat across from Laszlo.

It’s my condition.” Laszlo leaned forward and folded his hands on top of his desk. “If you don’t like it, we can end this meeting right now and you can forget all about getting a seat on my board.”

Jason smiled coolly as if unfazed,
but his eyes belied his face—he was downright pissed off. Laszlo almost smile at that, but decided to leave the gloating until later, after he delivered the final blow.

Fine, he can stay,” Jason conceded.

Good.” Laszlo leaned back in his chair and got comfortable. But before he could get to the business at hand, Jason spoke.

So, how’s that lovely wife of yours? I’ve been meaning to stop by and see her.”

Laszlo
’s anger was instant and it took all of his self-control not to lunge across the desk and choke the living shit out of Jason. Instead, he said, “Make no mistake, Congressman. We are not friends, and you are not welcome in my home. Our relationship is strictly professional.”

Jason smoothed his tie through his fingers and smiled.
“Yes, well, my business with Mrs. Cstary is strictly professional, too, so it shouldn’t be a problem.”

Yeah, Laszlo knew the
“business” Jason had with Trinity and Jason would never get the chance. Laszlo was going to make sure of it. But, it wouldn’t hurt to ask. After all, knowledge was power and Jason was arrogant enough to flaunt his crazy ass ideas. “In case you’re unaware, Trinity has no stake or say in Cstary Holdings. So, I’m not sure what business you’d have with her, exactly.”

I’m well aware of that fact, but, she is carrying the heir to this empire, is she not?”

Laszlo felt the color drain from his face and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up straight. It was bad enough that Jason was trying to use Trinity in his sick little games, but it was quite another to use Laszlo
’s unborn child. Laszlo took a deep breath and quickly regained his composure. “Let’s get to the business at hand, shall we?” He was done discussing Trinity and the baby. It would only lead to Jason’s death and that was something Laszlo couldn’t afford to do.

Gladly.” Jason crossed his legs. “I trust you’ve made room on your board for me.”

Yes, I have. However, it has just come to my attention that you’re not a majority stockholder, and well, you have to be in order to have a seat on the board.”

Jason laughed.
“That’s preposterous! Really, Laszlo, I expected more from you. Surely you know to double check your facts.”

Laszlo pulled a manila folder from his desk and slid it toward Jason.
“I always triple check my facts.”

Well, this time, you’re wrong.”

Am I?” Laszlo cocked a brow and smirked. “It appears that you’ve used your campaign funds to purchase those stock shares, which, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you, is illegal. Therefore, the sale is void.” He stood and paced to the window before turning around and pinning Jason with an icy glare.

Jason flipped open the folder and began to look through its contents. Laszlo continued.
“It also appears that your campaign funds have been paying for your prostitutes, drug binges, and trips to Vegas.” Laszlo walked toward his chair and gripped the back of it. “So, this is how things are going to go. I’m going to leave this office, go home, and take my wife on our honeymoon. You’re going to leave this office and be arrested for misappropriation of your campaign funds. While you’re busy trying to sort out that mess, an envelope full of pictures and notarized affidavits are being sent to the district attorney’s office.” Laszlo straightened and cleared his throat. “Your political career is over.”

Jason abruptly stood and pointed his finger at Laszlo.
“You gave me your word that you’d destroyed all those photos.”

And you gave me your word that you’d stay the hell out of Trinity’s life. I never had any intention of using those pictures, but you just couldn’t leave well enough alone.”

If you think you’ve won, you’re—”

I have won!” Laszlo shouted, getting right in Jason’s face. “I have a lot more information about you than you know, so I suggest you get the hell out of my office.”

Jason turned and headed for the door. He stopped with his hand on the knob.
“This isn’t over, Cstary. You will pay for this. And once I’ve dealt with you, I’m going to fuck your wife. Then I’m going to show her where her place in this world is.” Jason walked out of the office, laughing and slamming the door behind him.

Did you get that?” Laszlo asked his attorney, who smiled as he clicked off the tape recorder that had been on the chair next to him.

Yup,” he replied.

Good. You know what to do with it.”

Sure do.” His attorney stood and left the office.

Once alone, Laszlo took several deep breaths in an effort to calm his racing heart and shaking hands. God, he wanted to hit Jason. Just once. Just one good, hard punch to the face. Okay, he had to think. No matter what just transpired, no matter that Laszlo had won this battle, the war was still in full force. Jason wasn
’t the type of man to back down. Neither was Laszlo. Only, Laszlo had a hell of a lot more to lose than Jason. That also meant that Laszlo was willing to do something he swore he’d never do.

Sitting at his desk, he unlocked the bottom drawer and pulled out a small, red notebook. Flipping it open to the last page, he dialed the phone number scribbled there. There was
a click indicating someone had picked up the call, but there was no response from anyone. “You’d have better luck getting a blow job from an alligator,” Laszlo said, then gave his office number before hanging up.

Seconds later, his phone rang. He answered.
“Hey, Carl.”

I’ll be damned. Laszlo Cstary. I was honestly beginning to think I’d never hear from you again,” Carl said with a laugh.

Laszlo shook his head. Everything about this phone call was so wrong, but the alternative was worse.
“Drastic times, my friend.” Laszlo and Carl had met shortly after college. They were both on their first post-grad jobs. Carl had quickly decided that working for a living was for the weak and uncreative, so he took a different path in life—a dangerous, illegal path in life. It was a path that had landed Carl in quite a bit of legal trouble a few years back. Laszlo had helped him, paid for his legal defense. In return, Carl granted him one favor to be used at any time for anything. Well, today was that day.

How can I help?”

I think it’s about time that Congressman Jason Ross had an accident of some sort.” Simply saying those words made Laszlo sick to his stomach, but he couldn’t risk Jason harming Trinity or his baby.

That’ll be tragic,” Carl said, his voice devoid of any emotion.

Yes, I’m sure it will be.”

Congrats on the wedding.”

Thanks.”

“Al
right, well, until next time.” Carl hung up without another word.

Laszlo blew out a breath, tore the paper from the notebook, and crumpled it up. Now he felt confident that Jason was once and for all out of his life. And he was going to take extra steps to ensure his family was safe. Standing, he grabbed his jacket and left the office. He stopped at Sarah
’s desk.

Hi, Mr. Cstary, is there something I can do for you?” Sarah smiled.

Yes. I’m finally leaving on my honeymoon, so I’ll be out of the office for a few weeks. I trust you can handle my schedule while I’m gone?”

Sure thing. Have a great time and please tell Trinity I said hello.”

Will do.” Laszlo strolled out of the building with a smile on his face and a spring in his step.

***

“Trin?” he called as he entered the house, kicking the door closed behind him. “Trinity, where are you, love?”

In the kitchen.”

He smiled as he entered the kitchen and walked up to her, wrapping his arms around her and slanting his lips over hers. He groaned when he felt her become pliant in his arms, returning his kiss with more passion than he
’d felt from her in weeks. “It’s over,” he whispered.

She pulled away just enough to look at him.
“Really?”

Yeah.”

You’re sure? Because last time—”

His laughter cut her off.
“Yes, I’m absolutely sure this time. He’s gone for good.”

How?”

Laszlo cocked a brow and grinned.
“Do you really want me to go into all the boring details?” He hoped his charm was enough to appease her because there was no way he wanted to tell her the truth of what he’d done, but he wasn’t comfortable lying to her either. It was a bad situation to be in. Regardless of what she said, he would never apologize for doing what had to be done to keep her safe.

Trinity paused as if she were seriously thinking about it. Then she smiled.
“No. I don’t care as long as he’s gone.”

Good. Now, get dressed. We have things to do today.”

What things?”

For starters, I’m taking you to see the doctor, to make sure that it’s safe for you to travel. Then, we’re going to come back here and pack so we can leave for our honeymoon. The jet is on standby, ready to leave at four o’clock this afternoon.”

Her face lit up and her eyes sparkled.
“This is really happening this time? No more interruptions or work emergencies?”

This is really happening,” he said.

***

Two hours later, Trinity and Laszlo left the doctor’s office with a clean bill of health for both mom and baby. As if that wasn’t enough to make him happy, just being able to spend the afternoon with his wife, to hold her hand and kiss her whenever he wanted, not having to worry about Jason, was fantastic. It was also frustrating because she kept giving him looks that let him know she wanted him. And damn, he wanted her, too. He wanted her so bad it was nearly impossible to keep his erection under control. So when they made it back to the car, Laszlo gave the driver instructions to take the long way home and to keep the window up between the front and back seats.

As soon as they were seated and the car pulled into traffic, Laszlo leaned over and captured Trinity
’s lips in a hard kiss. His hands went to his pants and he quickly undid them, allowing his erection to spring free. Nipping at her bottom lip, he said, “Suck my cock, love, please, I’m dying here.”

Trinity chuckled softly as she lowered her head. She opened her mouth as wide as she could and he shoved his cock to the back of her throat, and then slowly eased out before plunging in again.
“Yes,” he hissed as his head fell back against the seat. Christ her mouth was so hot, so wet. It was like an electric shock to his system. For weeks now, they’d barely had sex, and when they did, it was rushed, frenzied. But this, right now, this was so fucking good he wanted to die from the pleasure of it.

She swirled her tongue around the head of his cock a few times before sucking him back into her mouth.  Dragging her lips up the length of him, she let him pop out of her mouth.
“Is that what you want?” She reached between his legs and cupped his balls, her fingernails grazing his asshole and sac.

His hips jerked up, driving his cock deeper into her mouth.
“Fuck that feels good,” he groaned, gathering her hair into his hands and holding it away from her face so that he could watch her.  “God damn, my cock looks good in your mouth.” She sucked him harder, faster, and he felt his body tensing, the muscles in his thighs tightened, and he swelled in her mouth. The immense pleasure combined with his dire need to come overtook his self-control. He fucked her mouth with fast, deep thrusts and she took all of him each time, driving him closer and closer to the edge.  “Shit, yeah, oh, fuck,” he grunted as he lost all control. “Fuck, baby, I—” His voice was strained and sweat creased his brow. “I want to come in your mouth.”

There was no stopping it and thankfully she didn
’t try, nor did she object to his request. Moments later, he was moaning and writhing through his orgasm. His body jerked, and then relaxed as he filled her mouth with his come, which was thick and hot. She sucked him dry, savoring every last drop of it before looking up at him with a seductive little smile. It was enough to make his cock want to get hard again. “Holy fuck, Trin.” He gasped for breath.
