After studying at Coupe le Fromage, the prestigious cheese-sculpting academy, Monsieur Raclette became disillusioned with the snobbish world of cheese art, until his passion was rekindled by a cheese-shop owner’s daughter, who sculpted purely for the joy of it. The two were married one month later, and Jean-Marc’s now-exuberant cheese-sculpture style could soon be seen in galleries and cheese museums across the globe.
