Hung her head looking sad now and remarked, “Since their never around anyhow”.
Pitying expression, Dana felt bad for her friend, as she listened to her.
Putting her hand against her heart, “I want a good life some day with my true love”, said Ella.
Dana smiled, as Ella added, “He will be a gallant hero you see in the old western movies”, and
she giggled.

Placing her hands to her chest now Dana remarked, “Oh my, gonna be the damsel in distress”,
as they both giggled.

“Come on girlfriend, how you will ever find your knight-in-shining armor by sitting here on this
farm”, said Dana excitedly.
Eyes become huge and she replied, “Your right”.
Folding her hands with a pleading look, Dana added, “You’re going to be eighteen soon, maybe
you will find love, please lets go?”
Ella gave a wide smile and said, “Okay, let’s do this”. Dana was happy and all smiles.

Unsure though, “I do not think we should go to the west side of town, I heard it was real
rough”.
Waving her hand up Dana said, “It’s cool, don’t worry”, Ella shrugged her shoulders in
hesitation.

They got dressed up, as Ella even grabbed her mom’s cowgirl boots and looked nice.
Ella’s bright red hair flowed all the way down past her real slender waist and many freckles
covered her face, but they were cute.

Furthermore, was skinny and did not have much of a curved built as most young girls have.
“Ready”, said, Ella wearing a little blue jean dress that had ruffles around the bottom.
“You look hot Ella”.
Taking a bow smiled saying, “Thanks you do too”, as Dana took a
bow now giggling.
Wearing tight blue jeans and a black halter-top with spaghetti string straps, as her long dark
wavy hair draped all down her bare back.

Knee high boots that fit snug wrapping around her legs, Dana had it all planned out,
“Come on Ella”, heading out the front door to Ella’s home.
Therefore, they went over to Dana’s small trailer where she lived, as she was less fortunate and
sure not on the wealthy side.
Hand on hip, Ella said, “Now what?”

Standing in a run-down kitchen and batting her eyes Dana replied,
“Watch this move”.
She had two older sisters and went up to one asking, “Darlene, you going to town tonight?”

Sitting by the round kitchen table painting her fingernails, “Dana I work there of course”,
swinging her head of long blonde hair back.
Ella gave another smile at Dana and they were about to be off.

Twenty minutes later the two girls were sitting happily in the blue station wagon while her
sister drove, they are both excited.
Darlene asked, “Where do you want dropped off?”

Stretching her neck Dana replied, “Here is good”, pointing at the main corner heading to the
west side.

Therefore, Darlene stopped the vehicle, as the girls giggled and Darlene pointed at her little
sister and said, “Okay Dana, just do not get into trouble, I cannot stomach hearing dad’s mouth”.
Waving her hand Dana gave a little grin and said, “Of course not”.

Pointing even more at them her big sister added,
“Hey stay here on this side of the railroad tracks, because the west side is strictly for grownups”.
Raising her eyebrows, Dana asked, “Hey Darlene, have you ever hung out around the west side?”
“Not anymore, I don’t want to know that part of town exists”. Glancing in the mirror putting
lip-gloss on, smacks her lips.
Ella now wondered and thought it must be bad, Dana asked, “Why, Darlene?”

Giving a frown, Darlene replied, “It was just a bad choice I made with a guy”.
“Oh, bummer”, said Dana and Ella looked sad.
Pointing at her younger sister, “Stay away from that side of town that’s filled with jerks”, the
girls look at her and Darlene added, “Mainly this blonde haired man was such a player”.
“Sorry to hear that sis”, as Ella listened.

Then Darlene told them bye and drove away, they stood on the corner by some stores in town,
standing in front of the barbershop.
Throwing her hand up, “Well what do we do now?”
Dana smiling big replied, “Come on were going on a little walk past the train tracks, where the
fun and guys surely are”.

Folding her arms eyes big Ella said, “Hey didn’t you hear your sister, guys there are bad”.
“Oh just because it happen once to her means all guys, no Ella, don’t be paranoid”.

The girls started walking, Dana seem to be all smiles and Ella appeared worried, heading across
to the far end of town.

Otherwise known as the rough side of Tennessee, that her big sister told them to stay away
from. Dana said, “Wow, hear that music, it is different here already and sounds fun”.
Shaking her head a lot, “Yes, sounds like loud ruckus, we are going to get hurt”, remarked Ella
annoyed.

Dana really waved her hands up, and swinging her hips to the sound of the music.
Watching her friend dancing, Ella mumbled, “Especially if we get caught down here our parents
will hang us”.

Eagerly, “Hey it’s coming from that bar over there”, said Dana pointing at the bar then added,
“Let’s go look”.
Swinging her hands up, jerking her head, “Oh great, I came into town to go to a bar sure is
different and fun”, replied Ella waving her hand up.
Clicking her fingers to the music Dana said, “No, let’s just look in the window at the drunken
people”.
Laughed to that walking over by the bar and went peeking into the window.
Dana with Ella was giggling looking in and it appeared crazy inside that bar.

Many citizens and seemed as though all of Tennessee comes in there the girls kept watching and
there was sleazy women inside the bar.
Dana with Ella both said, “Yuck”, and kept looking.

“Wow look at that hot guy?”

“My window is steamed up, I can't see crap”, said Ella and strain to see inside the bar.

Putting her hand up, “Don’t cuss it’s a big turn off to guys”, remarked Dana that stares in the
window with a glow.
“Well hey Dana, I am having a fun night staring in a window”.
Dana pointed at the window saying, “Oh my, there are many hunks”,
“Wow”, as she started fanning herself and added, “My there are hot guys around this part of
town”. Giggled looking back in the window then remarked, “I feel faint”.

Now Ella wiped the window off trying to look inside, with her finger pressed to the window,
Dana asked, “Well, you see him?”
“Yep saw him, can we please go Dana”, that put her hands on her hips frustrated.
“Bull Ella he was hot”, said Dana mockingly.
“Maybe for you, this is no good time Dana”.
“Come on Ella it beats sitting at home”, added Dana irritated still glancing into the bar.
“You told me we were going to have fun”, turning away from the bar, and went standing by
another building.
Putting her one hand up, Dana said, “Okay let me use the pay phone over there to find out what
time my sister will pick us up?”

Therefore, Dana went to use the phone and Ella shook her head annoyed, while talking to her
sister, “WHAT!”

With her hand against her forehead she added, “Come on how we going to get back home,
because it’s miles and dark out”.
Ella really swung her head disgusted; as she listened to her friend mention that they are
stranded. Holding her hand against her head, Dana yelled, “No we are not having fun, we want
to go home”.
Raising her voice higher, “No Darlene we can’t wait until midnight”, said Dana upset.

Throwing her hands up in the air, Ella very wound up remarked, “Great, we are stuck in a wild
part of town on a Friday night”.
Both hands on her hips, Dana said, “I am sorry my plans failed”.
“Oh we are going to get kidnapped!” Dana hung her head and Ella added,
“We should just get in the car with a stranger, hitchhiking before they drag us into the car”.

Ella was swinging her head almost off and Dana said, “I do not know what to do?”
“I told you thumb a ride from a killer, at least it will be a way home Dana”.
“Do not get funny Ella, I’m sorry, just once I’d love to find a great guy”.
“Get real Dana looking in a bar cannot be a good guy”, as Ella turned back pointing to the bar.
Dana just hung her head almost in tears and Ella was about to eat her words.

The two girls were sitting on the curb and Dana was crying now, as Ella was still swinging her
head about to get a neck injury.
All of a sudden, the bar doors burst open and a big brawl comes outside and a person with long
blonde hair was yelling very loudly, “KNOCK HIS LIGHTS OUT MAN!”

The person yelling to the big fight-taking place was swinging his arms around.
To a person with short dark hair that was fighting and even stomping his foot on the ground
egging the one person on while he fought.

The two people were hitting each other, repeatedly when blood squirted onto Ella and Dana, as
they both jumped up fast. “YUCK!”
The young light haired person swinging his arms and yelling to the big fight, comes up to the
girls pulling them back fast from the very bad fight now taking place, as the two people are
pounding each other rough.

There was a crowd of rowdy males cheering and yelling the girls were shocked that a person
from the bar looked out for them, as he did shout though.
“FINISH THAT JERK ALREADY!”

The one dark haired male that was fighting really pounded the other light haired man, down to
the ground viciously.

Swung lightning fast punches constantly straight into the person’s face as he was down and
blood squirted everywhere.
Ella covered her eyes saying, “Oh my god is it over?” Dana taking a deep gulp remarked, “Oh my
god all the blood, no it’s not”, then put her hand by her mouth adding, “I am going to be sick”.

Trembling, Ella kept her eyes covered tightly, as the young blonde haired person put his arms
around her snug, and held Ella tightly sheltering her from the horrible scene.
Ella shook though and Dana kept saying, “Oh the blood”.
The person that helped pulling them aside from the fight said, “Hey y’all look kind of young?”

No response except, “Oh blood all on the building”, they are upset.
“What are y’all doing at night sitting out front of a bar?”
“We are stranded, wanting to go home now”, said Dana staring at the dreadful fight.

The person noticed they are very young to be alone late at night on the wild side of town, and
how scared they both were said, “Come with me”, as he let Ella out of his arms now.
Pointing to the bloody battle, Dana asked, “But what about your friend over there fighting to
kill?”

Giving a smirk he replied, “Believe me he can handle it, winning no doubt”.
“Oh sure, hurt us right, after what we just saw with your friend”, as her and Ella looked at the
blood splattered on the brick building.
Grinning now replied, “No girls, it’s not like that, I am cool honest”, and Dana rolled her eyes, he
added, “Don’t be afraid either girls”.
Therefore, followed him to the back of the bar and it was dark the girls trail his lead though and
he told them both, “Come inside to my maw, because she can help”.
They are scared, as he was a stranger and maybe a liar too.

Ella whispered to Dana, “I bet his maw is a big bald tattooed guy and we are about to be
slaughtered”, Dana’s eyes become huge and Ella took a deep gulp.
He heard the two girls and smiled, when the young person with them both opened the back door
to the bar and laughed asking them both, “Hey you got identity cards?” They both replied
sarcastically, “Ha-ha”.
“Funny you know we don’t”, he smiled leading them inside and Ella got a good look at him, as
the door opened light shines onto him.

Heart flutters, she mumbled under her breath, “Wow!” He was a total hunk; such silky long
wavy blonde hair and bluest sparkling eyes.
Now inside, he asked the dishwasher, “Hey Frankie working hard?”

“Nah tonight I’m caught up with glasses thank goodness”.

Chapter 2.

The young person told Dana and Ella, “Come on girls, oh by the way my name is Saul, shoot
I never even told y’all”.
Both girls smiled, he added to them, “Heck I just grabbed y’all fast from the fight”.
They told him their names following him through the kitchen then he asked, “How old are you
girls?”

Right as Dana went to answer him; Ella pushed her and answered before Dana got a chance to.
“We are both eighteen”.

With her eyes big and Dana wanted to hide hers, “Oh that is what I figured”, smiling.
Dana looked at Ella real funny and Ella pointed at Saul whispering, “Hot”.
“Oh, watch out he’s a blonde”, whispered Dana.
They were just seventeen going on eighteen-years-old and the three of them entered the front of
the bar where it was loud, as the jukebox blazed with country music.

Ella with Dana are just looking around and the bar was packed, it was very western style in the
bar and looked old fashion, there was a big pool table and two pinball machines, along with a big
dartboard.

A crowd of people were playing darts and cheering over the game.
Many tables were full with a crowd of people, and Saul took them up to the counter.
There was an older man with a gray beard and a long ponytail going down his back of blue jean
overalls.

Then a much younger woman with a long braid of thick black hair that hung way down the back
of her flannel shirt and past her slender waist.
Wearing light brown corduroy pants and knee high Indian moccasins when Saul said, “Maw,
Paw, this is Dana and Ella that are lost”.
“Well Wiley’s are good for helping people”, replied his paw.
Ella with Dana felt a little better.
Tells his parents, “Get them whatever they want, but no booze”, he winked.
Heart beating fast, Ella mumbles, “Oh my stars is he hot”.
Watched him walk away into the crowd, he was about six-foot and stocky built, Ella smiled
looking at his perfect frame in those blue jeans.

Saul’s parents introduced themselves and made the girls feel very welcome and safe.
They were incredibly nice, funny and cool as Ella started having a good time.
Dana did not seem to be, as her eyes rolled looking around the loud bar.

Rushing up to the counter was a young boy with long golden-blonde hair and curls.
His long curly bangs hung down the side of his face blending in with his hairline and was tall
about six-foot-one or even six-two with a muscular built.
Wearing a flannel shirt and baggy blue jeans along with black steel toe boots the same as Saul
wore.
The young boy had a bloody nose, as he was out of breath.
Shaking her head in disgust, “Oh, not again, lord you fight every darn night boy”, remarked
Brenda upset.
Reaching the boy that was bleeding a bit heavily a towel and she added, “Are you ever going to
stop your fights?” He just stood holding the towel to his nose, as the girls looked at him.
