The Nine Lives of Felicia Miller

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The Nine Lives of Felicia Miller
is the first novel from
Joe Augustyn
. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joe began a career as an artist but was sidetracked when he won a Nissan FOCUS Award for writing. The award ceremony brought him to Hollywood and  led to a Producing Fellowship at AFI’s Center For Advanced Film Studies. After graduating he crewed on a few movies, but began writing again after being sidelined by a work injury. Soon he was producing his first feature, based on his original screenplay.

Night of the Demons
spawned sequels and a remake, but Joe was only creatively involved in the first two movies of the franchise. He produced one other feature,
Night Angel
, based on the legend of Lilith. His health ruined by the stress of that ill-fated venture, he quit producing to focus on writing. He returned to Philadelphia to care for his aging parents and began writing novels. He currently lives in Philadelphia with two cats, an agreeable buff shorthair named Baldur and a lively Maine Coon named Nikki, who inspired this novel.
