Born in Moultrie, Georgia, the author has lived in California, Hawaii, Alabama, Mississippi, and Atlanta, and now resides in the Florida Panhandle, with her firefighter husband and their three children. In between books, Hohenstein spends time with her family and friends at the beach where she enjoys paddleboarding, swimming, building sand-castles, and soaking up the sun.
