instant message from Paolo/Felix.

Paolo: I’m hoping we’ll be reading
tonight.

Before Katrina can type her response,
Paolo sends another instant message.

Paolo: Together. In person.
 
Like in the painting.

Katrina’s breath shallows, her pulse
races, her cheeks flush just thinking about being with Felix.
 
She begins to type in her response, her
fingers shaking as she hits the first letter.
