The Submission of a Mafia Princess (7 page)

“I can’t hold back from you any longer. I need to hear you want the same thing.”

She took a deep breath. “From our first kiss at the park, I knew I wanted more with you but I didn’t know what that was until now.” Arching her back and showcasing her pointed nipples, she blushed but wouldn’t break her stare. “I want to submit my body and mind to you. I don’t want to think, just feel your mouth, your hands,” she gulped. “All of you.”

He moved closer and wrapped his hands around her waist. The evidence of his arousal pressed against her belly. His mouth was a whisper away from hers. Tilting her mouth, she waited for his kiss.

“Have you submitted to anyone before me?”

She searched his eyes. “No.”

“Are you still a virgin, Antonietta?”

She continued to look into his eyes, wondering what answer he expected and which he wanted.

“Answer me.”

“Yes. But I expect to lose that title soon,” she joked.

His forehead dropped to hers. “Shit.”

Shit. “What?”

“Your first experience shouldn’t be with someone like me.”

“I can’t imagine it being with anyone else. No one has made me feel the way you do.”

He shook his head. “I don’t want to hear about anyone else. There’s only me from now on. Do you understand?”

She nodded and heat traveled from her belly to her fiery core. “Only you.”

Reclaiming her mouth, he capturing her lips with hungry urgency. She sighed with the realization she’d finally found a place where she belonged.

Chapter Nine

Beads of sweat already trickled down his neck when he slowly opened the pool house door. She was waiting for him, as he knew she would be. Reaching over his shoulder, he pulled his T-shirt off as he walked toward the corner of the airless room. She sat on the makeshift bed of towels in just a bra and lacy pair of panties, sliding a silk blindfold through her fingers. A braided leather rope lay coiled near her feet. Dropping to his knees, he pulled her into his chest and kissed the top of her head.

“Are you sure this is what you want?” he asked, stroking her hair.

Her stormy blue eyes seared through him. “With my entire being, this is what I want and where I belong. Take me, Brax.”

“Even though I’m leaving tomorrow, I’m not saying good-bye. I can wait. We can wait.”

“We’ve talked about this. It’s what I want. For once in my life, I’m in charge of my body and my decisions. I want to do this, with you.”

“I wish it could be different for you. Let’s not wait. Come back to school with me tomorrow and leave this prison of a life you have here,” he said, holding her cheeks in his palms.

“I’ll be fine here for a couple of months. I can’t leave my father now. Please. There’s not much time—”

Light flooded the dark room with a crash behind his back.

“Get your fucking hands off of her, pool boy,” a voice growled as he was hoisted in the air and something hard and cold poked at his temple. Brax struggled to free his hands from the beefy arms around his chest. He was pushed out of the door.

“Put your clothes on and get into the house, slut.”

“Don’t call her that, asshole,” Brax spat.

“You’re not in the position to make any demands, loverboy,” the deep voice chuckled.

Brax turned in an attempt to see his captor’s face. He caught a glimpse of sweat-covered pock marked cheeks, jowls and a double chin.

“Turn around and meet your worst nightmare. Take care of him, Vic.”

A hulking wall of muscle grabbed him by the arm.

“Look, I don’t want any trouble, guys. We weren’t doing anything wrong.”

Toni pulled at the goon’s arm. “He didn’t do anything. Let him go or I’ll call my father.”

“Your father is the one who sent me. I’m in charge of taking out the trash.”

“I don’t believe you.” She spat in his face.

“Believe what you want.” He shrugged and pushed by her away. “Allow me to introduce you to a couple of friends who are taking you for a ride.”

“No, no.” Toni’s cries tore through Brax. “Don’t hurt him please,” she pleaded between sobs.

“Toni doesn’t need a friend like you, pool boy. Nice tat.” The meaty man said and jabbed the gun at the back of his shoulder’s red heart tattoo. “Fitting, too, because Vic here is going to break your heart and every bone in your body. You know what to do.”

Brax turned to run when a sudden sharp pain struck the back of his head and everything went dark.

Much later, he blinked his eyes and saw nothing but black. Warm water lapped at his legs and the calls of crickets and bullfrogs filled his ears. Pain seared through his lungs as he tried to take a breath. Straining the muscles in his arms, he attempted to pull himself up but his muscles wouldn’t cooperate. Then he remembered the yelling, punching and kicking. Numbness crept through his body until he felt nothing.

Chapter Ten

New York City - Present Day

Toni lay in darkness, left alone with her thoughts and listening to the air flowing in through her nose and out through her mouth as Mia had instructed. Candles were one of Toni’s demands, especially when she discovered the submissive pose would push her ass high in the air. She couldn’t handle a harsh spotlight on her full cheeks. Even though she didn’t want to admit it, the dim lights also served the purpose of keeping her Dom of choice, Mick, as anonymous as possible. Not that she needed candles for that; his last minute demand was to blindfold her. Something that they hadn’t talked about while reviewing her soft and hard limits.

Toni wasn’t sure how much time had passed since Mia left the room after preparing her for the scene. She tested the restraints connected to her wrist bindings. Only an inch or two of slack allowed her to shift slightly on the sumptuous bed. Crisp linens cradled her shins, which were spread slightly. Deep breaths pushed her leather-covered breasts into the soft mattress. Her position of submission caused the leather strap between her backside cheeks to tighten against her sensitized folds.

The click of the lock and slide of the door caused every nerve ending to stand at attention. Heavy footfalls sounded on the suite’s plush carpeting. Concentrating on her breathing, Toni willed her heart to stay within the confines of her chest.

Inhale through her nose. Fingers caressed the back of her calf and eased her shoe off her right foot.

Exhale through her mouth. Her other shoe slid from her foot and a single finger drew a slow line down the bottom of her foot.

Inhale. The ticking of a zipper filled her ears.

Exhale. Shit, the breathing thing wasn’t working.

Inhale and hold. She squeezed her eyes shut. I can do this. I can do this.

The floodgates opened with a sobbing exhale. “Fire! Fire. I’m sorry. I can’t. I just...can’t. I thought I could. I thought it would be like before. But it’s not.”

“Before?” a low voice whispered. There was something about that voice.

“Yes, before. With Brax. I’m sorry. I just can’t, not like this." A sob wracked her chest and tears soaked her blindfold.

“Shh, it’s okay,” Hands stroked her hair enveloping her into a comforting sensation that was as familiar as breathing. She picked her head up and perked her ears toward the source.

“Brax?”

“It’s me, Antonietta. You’re safe.”

The bed dipped next to her and the blindfold slipped off her head. She blinked a few times to focus her eyes.

“Hello, sunshine.”

“What are you doing here?”

“Come on, you know me a little better than to think I’d sit back idly and allow some random man have his way with you.”

Toni sat up on her heels causing her tethered hands to rise awkwardly.

“Here. Let’s get you out of these.” Brax unhooked the restraints from her bindings and took her hands into his. He untied the satin cords and slowly uncoiled them from her wrists. Rubbing them in between his hands, memories came flooding back. Back when she was his.

“You look beautiful,” he said, surveying her body.

She focused on his face, attempting to sear every feature of him into her memory: the planes and light stubble of his cheeks, his tousled hair, and his eyes that had always been able to read her like a book from the first day they met.

There was so much she wanted to say, but it was pointless. “One night is all we have.”

Brax took her chin between his thumb and index finger and pulled her close. “I know. Get up and get dressed.”

“Where are we going?”

“Your fantasy of submission starts now. No questions,” he said and playfully slapped her ass. Grabbed his jacket from the chair, he strode to the door before turning around.

“You have ten minutes. Wear a dress and these.” He pulled a flash of red and lace from the jacket’s pocket and tossed it to Toni.

She caught the bit of fabric and felt something hard and smooth among the lace.

“What is this?” she asked and arched her eyebrows.

“Was that a question?”

She unfolded the lace and smiled. “No, sir.”

“Good, now hurry up and meet me at the bar; we have a lot to cover in a night.”

Chapter Eleven

Toni slipped on the only sexy dress she owned. It was the same black dress she wore the last time she’d been to the SRE lounge. She examined the panties he left for her, which were different from any in her underwear drawer at home. Grazing her hand over the cool lace of the thong panty, her fingers stopped on top of the hard, flat, plastic device stitched inside. It curved slightly to conform to the shape of the panties. Chuckling, she slipped them on under her dress. Toni wasn’t experienced in sex toys and devices but she was fairly certain she knew the purpose of the panty enhancement. The erotic combination of her silky skirt fluttering against the skin of her backside and the effects of her Brazilian wax made her ultra-sensitive to the added accessory. Every move she made sent shivers up her spine. She was already flushed from the anticipation of what magical qualities the device in her panties held and Brax’s plans for its use.

She hurried to the lounge, finding Brax talking with the bartender and holding a large glass of clear liquid filled with ice.

“Hey beautiful. Your ten minutes are almost up,” he said seriously, looking at his watch.

“It took me a while to figure out the addition to my outfit,” she said looking to the floor. She didn’t think her cheeks could get any hotter. “Would you order me a drink?”

Brax handed her his glass. “Here, take a sip of water. There’s no drinking before a scene, sweetheart. I don’t think you need any liquid encouragement anyway, Antonietta. I’ll bet those special panties of yours are already wet.”

Toni grabbed the water and looked around to see if anyone heard him. She pressed the side of the glass to her cheeks, thankful for the cool sensation against the evidence of her embarrassment. Brax took the glass from her, placed it on the bar and hooked his thumb under her chin.

“Your eyes are not to stray from me. We’re the only ones who matter tonight. It’s just you and me. I won’t share you or your attention with anyone. Understand?”

Toni locked onto his stare and nodded.

“Let’s get some air,” he said and laced his fingers with hers. He led her to a glass door to the outside terrace of the lounge. A brisk wind embraced her cheeks as they walked to the railing. Toni hugged her arms around her chest. Brax leaned against the railing and pulled Toni into his embrace. “I need you to remember that part of being submissive is to trust me to do what’s right for you. I promise your pleasure is my first and only concern tonight. Your job is to feel and respond.” He spoke softly into her hair. Puffs of breath were like a warm protective blanket from the cool air.

“Got it,” she whispered.

He enveloped her in his arms and rocked her slowly even though the music inside was a fast dance beat. Toni took a deep breath and nuzzled into the crook of his neck. She was at the perfect height to rest her head on his shoulder. Breathing deeply, she allowed the manly scent of winter air and soap to fill her senses.

“What are you thinking?” he asked. His breath tickled at her ear.

She looked up to concerned eyes. “About how safe I feel with you.”

“What else do you feel?”

She studied his face. The three years since she’d first seen him added a seriousness to his features. His chiseled cheekbones were more defined and the hint of a single crease lined his forehead. Her gaze lowered to his sensuous mouth where she zeroed in on a scar on his lower lip. She’d noticed it the night before but it hadn’t occurred to Toni where the scar came from until that moment.

“Guilt.”

Her fingers grazed up his arm to his cheek. Toni’s thumb softly rubbed the jagged line. “They did this to you that night, didn’t they?” she asked.

Brax grabbed her wrist and touched his forehead to hers.
