Triad brothers Tyron,
Smythe, and Artim are sent back to Planet X in hopes of finding the
whereabouts of the Shifter King. Along the way, Tyron plans to also
seek out a rumored oracle, who could turn the tide in their war
against the Xakarrians. Told not to follow myths and legends, Tyron
looks anyway, knowing the oracle is out there and closer than many
realize.

Khal has also been hidden
away in Kazru’s whorehouse, made to sell his body to pay for
Kazru’s protection. When the males he’d seen in his visions come
for him, Khal wonders if it’s too good to be true. Feeling dirty
and unclean, he doesn’t think he’s worthy enough to be claimed by a
triad of Kannomite warriors, but in his heart, he hopes for just
that.

None of them realize just
how much they need the other until boundaries are tested and limits
passed. Once the dust settles, they’ll either be bound for life, or
their link will be severed forever.

The Whorehouse
Oracle

Chapter One

Khal hovered on the balcony, trying to
remain unseen. As he stood above the luxurious lobby, the quiet
below was unnerving. The whorehouse was usually teeming with
beings, those looking for the right whore to spend their coin and
seed on. Now the space was empty, most of the customers fleeing for
their lives. Most of the whores stood behind Khal, curious and
watchful of the events unfolding downstairs.

Three warrior males had come for the
prince and had nearly started a battle to get the young male, just
as Khal had pictured in his mirror. Khal’s hands shook, not from
the knowledge his vision had come true. He’d long accepted his
foresight. No, he shook because he knew this event marked the start
to the revolution and their people learning the truth.

A truth many of them weren’t ready to
learn.

Parts of the coming days were hazy,
large chunks missing, which could only mean one thing. Khal was
somehow involved. He could never see his own future, but always
sensed something or someone coming for him. Without the full
picture, he felt as if he stood on unsteady ground, his usual
confidence shaken. How could he navigate the days and weeks to come
without knowing what was unfolding before him?

Khal shook the fear away and returned
his attention to the prince and his males, smiling to himself. All
three warriors were Kannomites, a large breed of shifter the old
kings had favored for protection. They’d been bred large and
muscular, and trained to be machines of destruction. Later, when
mental prowess was favored over muscular strength, the new kings
had sent the Kannomites away, afraid of the power they’d
grown.

The warriors had quietly accepted
their exile, differing to the kings they swore fealty to. They had
gone back to Kannom and continued their old ways, growing stronger
and more powerful sons. Rumors held that the new guard now had
mental strength to match their physical power. The rumors were
true, Khal knew, and he was glad for it. There was no way their
people would be freed from the Xakarrians’ rule without the strong
warriors their people had turned their backs on. Fiercely loyal,
even in their exile, the Kannomites were the shifters only
hope.

Who knew Kazru was hiding
Prince Agarri up there?” Grenn said with wonder in his voice. “We
were fucking just a few feet under
His
Highness, the Prince of Xhythria
. Maybe we
should’ve charged more for having a royal in the house.” Grenn
laughed, apparently finding himself funny.

If anyone had known, they
would’ve sold the prince out to the Xakarrian guard for a chance at
freedom,” Khal whispered back. “Good thing Kazru kept the
secret.”

Grenn grumbled something under his
breath. “I wouldn’t have sold him out. Just because we’re whores,
that doesn’t make us disloyal, you know.”

Khal rolled his eyes, knowing Grenn,
or any of them for that matter, would have at least considered
handing Prince Agarri over—for the right price.

Lucky little prince,
getting those big, yummy males. I might have sold out the prince to
get a little piece of that,” Grenn said in a sing-song voice. “I
bet their cocks are as thick as my wrist.”

Those warriors fight for
our freedom, so stop worrying about the size of their cocks.” Khal
wouldn’t tell Grenn he’d thought the same thing moments earlier. At
least he hadn’t
voiced
the thoughts. “Prince Agarri will find love and acceptance in
those strong males’ arms. They would lay down their lives for him,
if given the chance.”

Grenn sighed. “Wouldn’t it be nice to
have someone love you like that? But we’ll never have that. No one
like those guys would ever love whores like us.”

Jealousy flooded Khal. The handsome,
strong males had been willing to kill all inside to get to the
prince. Khal had never been on the receiving end of that kind of
devotion and knew he never would. There hadn’t been a moment in
time when he hadn’t been used for what he had. Even now he was used
for his mind and body, made to pay for his upkeep through visions
and the use of his body. There had been a time when oracles had
been highly regarded and raised in palaces, secreted away from the
masses. Now, he was treated as a leper to those who knew what he
really was—a freak with an inner eye.

Khal would happily switch places with
the prince, even knowing the struggle coming their way. Prince
Agarri would be facing some ugly truths in the weeks to come. His
lovers would have an Army to command and a world to
save.

The whorehouse’s proprietor, Kazru,
was doing his best to talk the prince into staying when his gaze
drifted up to Khal. The anger in Kazru’s eyes gave Khal
pause.

Kazru looks pissed at
you, Khal. What have you done now?” Grenn almost seemed happy at
the thought.

I didn’t warn
him.”

Warn him?” Grenn
asked.

Khal didn’t answer. Couldn’t answer.
There was no way he could tell Grenn without having to explain he
was an oracle and then that would only make his day that much
worse. He’d somehow kept his secret from the whores within the
building’s walls, but it was just a matter of time before they
found out.

Khal could’ve warned Kazru. But he
knew Kazru would have secreted the virgin prince away and that
would have interrupted fate. Khal drifted back into the curtains to
hide from Kazru, knowing he’d have to accept the male’s wrath soon
enough.

Khal watched the prince leave with the
three warriors and fought the desire to rush down the stairs and
disappear with them, but he knew that wasn’t to be. This was the
prince’s journey. Agarri had to face those three males and create a
connection in too short a time. The love they would soon share
would save them all.

And there he goes. I
suspect we’ll get a visit from the Xakarrian guard soon enough.
Better go get any contraband and hide it better or toss it out.”
Grenn walked away, humming a tuneless song.

Khal watched as the empty lobby slowly
began to fill again, keeping Kazru busy for a moment. He slipped
away from the balcony and walked to his room. As soon as he was
inside, he saw a naked male still lying on his bed, fast asleep.
Khal had almost forgotten his customer.

He walked to the bed and tried to
rouse the sleeping male. “Time to go.”

The half-asleep male tried to pull
Khal back into the bed. “Come on, baby, get back in
here.”

Khal slapped away the male’s
hands.

Bitch, let me sleep then,
if you’re not going to fuck me again.” He rolled over and pulled
the blankets tighter around his shoulders.

Bitch?
Khal sighed and looked down, seeing breasts on his chest. In
all the hoopla, he’d forgotten he was in female form. Most of the
customers who came to the whorehouse wanted females, not realizing
Xhythrian shifters were all born male. Maybe this one needed an
education. It might get him out of Khal’s room.

Plus Khal hated Heratian males. They
loved to sleep off sex and never knew when to leave. And right now,
Khal needed some peace and quiet—before the storm rolled
in.

Khal shifted back into his own male
form and lifted a pitcher of water from his bedside table. He
unhurriedly dumped it on the male’s head. The Heratian jumped from
his sleep, his eyes wide and completely naked. “You fucking whore!
What the hell? You could’ve drowned me!”

Khal crossed his arms and didn’t work
to hide the gaping sides of his robe. His cock hung heavily between
his legs and there were no longer any large breasts in sight. The
Heratian rubbed at his eyes and looked confused. “You’re a
guy?”

All
Xhythrians are born male,” Khal said with a smile. “Some
choose to become females when it fits them.”
Or they’re forced to whore for their own
“protection”.
