“What the hell is that suppose to mean?
“ Asked Carl

“I don’t have time to explain
you must go “, said Maya.

“But
what will happen to you when they find out you helped us, “said Carl.

“That
is why I must ask you one small favor before you leave Carl.”

“What
? Just tell me and I will do it. “

“You must strike me hard to make it seem that you over powered me to make your escape “, said Maya.

Carl hesitated, he had never struck a woman
before, and he surely was not going to start now. Jan pushed Carl to the side and drove her fist into Mayas face, Maya fell to the floor holding her face in her hands, blood slowly oozed from her nostrils, Carl stared at Jan not believing she had it in her. “Well come on lets go, “said Jan.

They ran down the corridor leaving Maya where she had fallen, Carl had the strange feeling that Jan enjoyed punching Maya in the face; only this was not the time to ask
. They made their way to the control room door; they had no idea how to open it. Carl was feeling around the doorframe seeing if maybe there was some kind of concealed switch of some sort, when the door suddenly opened.

A lab technician stood at the doorway wondering what they were doi
ng, Carl threw himself upon him grabbing the man from his neck. “No please don’t hurt me “, he said

Then tell us how to use the transporter “, said Carl

Ok, ok”

The technician started the transporter up and turned to Carl, “There it’s
done; now all you need is a destination

“Carl looked at the controls
they somehow looked familiar, and the destination codes resembled that of a common GPS system. An electronic map of the entire planet hung just above Carl’s head, thousands of small dots flickered across the screen, Carl wondered what they could be, but at least the map gave him an idea of his destination. Carl took the readings for his longitude and latitude and entered the combination of numbers into the computers keyboard.

“Is that it
”, asked Carl.

“Yes
, now all you have to do is stand on the platform inside the circles “, replied the technician. Carl signaled to Jan and she stood on one of the rings, only Carl still had his doubts whether a teleportation system really did exist, Or if all of this alien rubbish was true or not. He grabbed the technician from his neck again forcing him to follow him into the teleportation device.

“What are you doing
? I did what you asked. “

“Your coming with us
just in case this thing doesn’t work “, replied Carl.

Carl dragged the man and forced him to
stand on one the rings with him when suddenly a strong light started to emerge from the floor, Jan called to Carl, “remember to stay inside the light”

Carl looked down and all around him; h
e stood exactly inside the beam although, the lab technician could only squeeze half of his body on the same ring as Carl.

He was just about to let him go, pushing the technician out of the way; however; it was too
late they were gone, vanishing into thin air

CHAPTER SIX

the CRUCIFIXION

A
fter Carl’s abduction Sonard hopes were very high, he had been waiting to see who would discover the spearhead that Adameus had stolen before he was casted out into the distant past, so he could not interfere with Sonard plans. Sonard needed the spearhead since it contained a large crystal only found in his own distant galaxy. The crystal when attached to another sophisticate, device would have given him the capability to transport through the vast distances in space in just a matter of weeks, where else it would take a lifetime.

Sonard was in his quarters
when one of his henchmen broke the news on Carl’s escape; Sonard was out raged to be defeated once again however, to be defeated by just a mere human was totally in- conceiving. He had to find out more about Carl, the pendent object that had taken a sample of Carl’s blood, would have scanned Jan’s, and Carl’s DNA sequence that shared the genetic strands as his own race. Sonard knew only his people or a direct descendant from them, meaning a half-breed was capable of having these strands, allowing him or her to operating the electronic data storage device that Carl had found.

A pathologist was already testing Carl and Jan’s blood, to see who the half bread was.

Sonard paced the corridor waiting for the results; he had also sent two of
his henchmen to track down Carl and to trace anything they could about him, phone numbers, passports, and the entire lot, Sonard was not taking any chances this time.

Thr
oughout the years Sonard’s race had abducted numerous amounts of female humans hoping to spread their genes, and later on they would recalling these people to help them with their plot. Some of these people due to their high intelligence held vital top, administrative, positions within our very own society. Sonard knew they would help him in any way they could just to be part of a superior race that they knew that one day would dominate our planet. Although, for now all Sonard could think of was the one that got away, it troubled him since with the knowledge Carl had about his secret society could mean nothing but trouble for him and his people, and the numerous of half breeds that lived amongst us.

Carl and Jan reappeared at their designated location; However, Carl had accidentally entered the last digits the other way around and instead of landing on their expedition cruiser, they found themselves submerged in the polluted waters inside the harbor
. Jan gasped for air as she struggled to reach the surface. It was dark and cold, images started to appear in the back of Jan’s mind being afraid of the unknown or what might be lurking at the bottom of the gloomy waters; Carl had mistakenly dropped them into.

Carl being an experienced diver
did not panic and made his way to the surface dragging the lab technician with him, he did not realize what had happened until Jan started screaming. “Quite everyone will hear you, ‘said Carl.”

“Look! Look what has happened
“, replied Jan pointing to the man Carl was holding.

Carl turned the man around and quickly pushed him away in horror
. Since the lab technician did not completely stay inside the materializing beam, only half of his body had been transported, it looked like someone had taken a huge slicing machine and had slice his body in half, from the back of his head, down to the heels of his feet were missing. Carl swam over to Jan and tried to calm her down, Carl knew it would not be long before Sonard sent his henchmen after them; they had to move as fast as they could. Carl swam ahead helping Jan along the way, they were not that far from there cruiser and Carl climbed aboard casting of immediately, while Jan sat in the corner shivering with cold, Only there was not much he could do about it; Carl’s main concern was leaving the harbor as fast as he could before Sonard's henchmen arrived.

In the mean time, Sonard had his men ransack Jan’s apartment, they searched for any information that would reveal who Carl and Jan were, this information was vital for Sonard if he wanted to track them down.

Sonard was still waiting, patently in his chambers for the lab results, until finally the pathologist walk in to his room, and handed him a file containing the blood results he so eagerly had waited for. Sonard opened the file, according to the blood test it reveled who was the half-breed.

Decades
ago, Sonard’s people planted their seed by abducting female humans however, since the introduction of sperm; banks in modern societies, Sonard, and his collages had their task of fertilizing human females made easier. May be that is why third world countries still lay tens of years backwards, when compared to industrialized countries. Who with Sonard's and his peoples help, they managed to push these modern industrialized countries forward by integrating their extremely high standard of intelligence, with in modernized societies, by the very use of these sperm banks.

The lab results, which Sonard held in some s
adistic way pleased him, knowing that some mere human did not defeat him, but by a half-breed, which made this even more, challenging. Sonard turned to the pathologies and handed him back the file,

“Now all we need to know is who Carl’s biological father is? “ Sonard asked.

“That’s already been done sir, I have compared his blood sample with our memory banks, the results are in this very file, “replied the pathologist.

Sonard once more looked into the file to discover
whom of his race was Carl’s biological father. Sonard read the name at the bottom of the file, smiled, and handed the file back to his colleague.

Carl had made his way to an adjacent bay and had anchored his boat near some other yachts feeling he and Jan would be safer amongst the rest of the people, whom had chosen to spent this calm summers evening aboard their luxurious boats. Carl took a warm shower aboard the safety of his 35-foot cruiser, and put on some spare clothing he kept in his bunk. Jan however, had the task of trying to squeeze into some of Jessie clothes, she did not have the same slim, figure that Jessie had and when Carl saw her, he laugh although, in some sexy way Jan looked very appetizing

However, Carl was troubled he had no idea how he had gotten into this mess
.

He comforted Jan
since she was used to a more peaceful life style, after they had been abducted and somehow managed to escape, they both knew this was only the beginning. Sonard would not rest until he had what he wanted; Carl needed help, he would contact his shipmates Jason and Nick in the morning. Jason who was an ex patriot, who had once served in the armed forces, would know how to deal with Sonard's henchmen. However, what was more worrying was what Sonard was really planning. It was now very late; Carl and Jan would try to rest for the evening, although their ordeal was not something one would forget that easily. Carl’s mind raced, trying to figure out what Maya had told him, that the truth was all around us, only what she meant by this was really anyone’s guess.

Carl constantly thought about what had happened, lt. seemed like
a part from a bad dream as he tumbled around, trying to get some sleep, he knew it was not going to be easy to get out of this situation, and defeating Sonard was something else.

Jason and Nick arrived at the dock the next morning; to find that their cruiser was gone, Jason scratched his head wondering who had taken it
. Nick pulled on the securing ropes were their cruiser was berthed just to discovered they had been cut, he was just about to show Jason when he heard Carl’s voice on the vhf radio.

“Hello Carl where are you?
“ Asked Nick

“I am around the
other side of the bay with Jan “, replied Carl

“Yea, well we were worried for a minute, when
we found our boat was missing “, said Nick.

“Your boats ok! Is Jason with you? “

“Yea sure he is
“, replied Nick.

“Great
I need a favor, can you go to my place and pick up some of my stuff “, asked Carl“. Sure! But what’s up, you in some kind of trouble? “Said Nick

“I cannot talk now just do it! “ Replied Carl and cut off

“.
Hell what’s all that about “, asked Jason

“No idea I think the boss is in some kind of shit “, replied Nick.

“Yea well leave that to me, come on let’s get out of here. “

Nick drove over to Carl’s place and pick up Carl's lap top and mobile phone which he had left on charge and luckily had forgotten to take it to over to Jan’s apartment.

Nick had arranged with Carl to pick t
hem up from a small sandy beach in the rubber dinghy that was strapped to the back of the cruiser. Carl was already waiting for them, and pulled hard on the starter cord as soon as Jason and nick hopped in, Carl turned the small dingy around and headed back out to sea.

Nick was the first one to board their cruise
r and could not help noticing what Jan was wearing he stared at her. Jan was not at all like Jessie, and wrapped a towel around her half naked body; she took the clean clothes and disappeared inside.

“So what’s going on boss
“, Asked Jason

“It’s a long story, so pull your selves a drink while I explain, “replied Carl

Jason and Nick stared at each other as they poured themselves a drink and sat down on a small leather couch facing Carl. He started to explain what they had found and how Sonard’s men abducted them; he told them about the teleportation device and that Sonard was from some superior race, only Jason wasn’t buying it and rudely butted in. “ Look Carl, do really expect us to believe all this crap?”

“It’s not crap it’s the truth!
“ Replied Carl

“Yea right and what have you been tripping on man, aliens
! Come on Carl”, replied Jason

“I am not tripping on anything.”

Jan abruptly came on the scene to back Carl up but it was no good. Nick and Jason were not buying it, just like Carl did not believe Sonard who had told them that no one outside their facility would ever believe them, Sonard was right. Carl spent most of the morning arguing with Jason trying to convince him, While Sonard gather all the information he could about Carl and Jan, he had his team of highly trained men hack into government files, phone records, the lot. He soon had Carl’s address and that of everyone who had ever phoned him on his mobile phone. All Sonard needed now was someone, anyone to phone Carl on his cell phone .By using saturlight links and with some help from the numerous amount of half breads, that worked in government and military establishment, Sonard’s men would be capable of pin pointing Carl’s exact position. Sonard waited patiently until someone finally dialed Carl’s number, unfortunately, it was Jessie.
